u bring up good points but i also feel that it is a little off that minato can beat hashirama the guy who beat madara with ems and kyubi but u have to realize that minato himself is strong also he was one of the greatest shinobi and its shown in the flashback however i would like to see more to believe it and you gotta understand that kishi's words are pretty much final unless in some case he does contradict himself but it does happen once in a while.

I don't doubt that Minato is strong, it's just that some of his fans overhype him to crazy levels. I like him as well, but we just haven't seen enough of him to truly judge how powerful he is

Bro you forget that minato had madara beat. If madara wouldn't have fled minato would have killed him. He was already injured an didn't have the 9 tails under his control anymore. He lost bro.

Yeah and some people says he fast but weak and I disagree because he show real strength when he cut one of bees tentacles off with one chop. That's strong IMO

im not a big fan of either , and i hate the fanboys for both but i think itachi wins this one, fire up susanoo and minato wont be able to do much because the only offencive attack he has is rasengan and that cant do much to the shell of susanoo (maybe crack it ), rasenshuriken would be able to do the trick be he doesnt have that , this will leave itachi to just swing his sealing sword as much as he wants until he finally catches minato, or he can coat the area with amaterasu and minato wont have anyway of handling itachi , simple as that really, and lets not forget the possibility of minato looking into itachis eye while also fireing up tsukyomi . minato is great but no mach for someone with an absolute defeance like itachi . remember , not a fanboy for either so im not being bias, just stating facts here
