anyways, Itachi vs Kabuto 1vs1 (no Edos) means itachi vs DSM kabuto lets see...
Genjutsu,Itachi uses visual genjutsu which is pretty much useless cuz of DSM (it almost seems as DSM was made to counter Uchiha techs) while kabuto can catch him with the sound gen cuz of the flute guy(and no i don't think he was there because of edo, he looked more like absorbed).so Kabuto in this category

Taijutsu, Kabuto gets this one simply cuz of DSM speed and strength
(he can chop the guy with bare hands :shrug: ) , Itachi has no such feats and i think he gets overpowered in this category.

Ninjutsu, No need for details here cuz both ninjas have shown awesome jutsus so equal in this category.

intelligence and battle tactics, Itachi gets this one without a doubt xd.

Ocular Powers, Itachi written all over on it cuz of amaterasu,susanoo,totsuka sword ,yatamirror (this will be itachi's winning factor depending on how long he can maintain susanoo and spiritual weapons) .lack of stamina is the only downside.

well both ninjas gets 2 out of 5 points....so seems pretty much equal to me:shrug:

nice thread but the only problem i have with this is that if kabuto cant use edos then itachi aint alive. So if your saying itachi (living not edo) vs kabuto then kabuto would take this pretty easy

Seriously what is wrong with people. Just because people hate kabuto they make up stupid restrictions and underrate him. By your "kabuto can't use Edo" logic Itachi should not be allowed to use crow clones or any crows at all since that wouldnt be 1v1. Its kabuto's jutsu he should be able to use it however he wants.

The fact that you even restricted Edo Tensei demonstrates that you don't think Itachi would win if Kabuto used it. Therefore by your own accord Kabuto (with Edos) > Itachi. Therefore clearly Kabuto > Itachi since Edo tensei is just part of his arsenal of jutsu.

And i think it would be painfully even.. 50% of the time they would beat eachover, the sound jutsu pretty much owned both Sasuke and Itachi, if he used it solo it would be game over..

Then again, Itachi has the best weakness of Kabuto's: The Totsuka Blade, sealing is pretty much one of the only ways to beat Kabuto, other then completely obliterating him.

His regeneration is too much for amaterasu, not to mention he could dodge anything that came at him. ​

You are wrong there. If Itachi is able to hit Kabuto with amaterasu then he is finished. Itachi could easily find a way to hit Kabuto with the flames. The only reason Kabuto looked as strong as he did was because Itachi wasn't trying to kill him. The same concept applies with the Naruto and Nagato fight. If Nagato wanted Naruto dead that fight would have been over from the very start.
