You guys seem to forget something about this fight. What was Kabuto doing back to back with Sasuke? He not once but 3 times asked Sasuke for his help to take down Itachi. That kind of sums up this debate. Kabuto can't use Edo Tensei the way he has been doing so in the Manga without Anko because he was using Oro's chakara within her for a powerful bind to them. He stated that if he didn't have a substitute then his chakara would deplete and the Oro cells would take over his body.

Pay attention to what Kabuto is stating in these pages. He needs Oro chakara to control the Edo or they will just be able to break free from his command and turn against him OR release them selves. This is why he needed Anko because she carried Oro's chakara which was needed for a far stronger binding.

Are we talking about prime, or the fight in the cave? If it's when they're both prime this shouldn't even be a question. If it was in the cave, just bear in mind Kabuto wasn't trying either. He didn't want to damage Sasuke.

he wasnt trying his best at all,he didnt even summon manda 2 or summon madara who would one shot both of them,he dissected itachi thrice despite having an ems sasuke protecting and helping him,he didn't summon dedara who wasnt sealed up until edo tensei was stopped,he didnt summon kiimaro to fight as well,you think if the uchiha bros fought these edos and sm kabuto at the same time they would have a chance,he didnt use anymore sound genjutsu after the first time even after dissecting itachi,he was about to overwrite itachi's seal if sasuke didnt come and save him,he has oro's power including oral rebirth as well as other forbidden techs oro has,he will beat any form of itachi even without edo tensei,sound genjutsu and white rage finish itachi alone.

All I see is some pitiful fanboys trying to convince themselves that Itachi>Kabuto.
Arguments like "Oh how could Kabuto counter this and that jutsu from Itachi?" are used when you could also ask yourselves this: "What could Kabuto do to Itachi had Sasuke not been there to save his ass from Muki T and GenFlute?". Either question is irrelivant because the situations they describe will never take place in the manga now. We can only talk about what did happen in the manga and that is Kabuto dealing Itachi two fatal blows before Izanami was activated.
Deal with it, like i dealed with the fact that Akainu>Aokiji because they had a fight and an outcome in the manga; sadly though .

Of course Kabuto is way stronger. He can just summon all the edo tensei and probably all characters with lose, with the exception of rikudou, his two sons, madara and hashirama. I mean he can summon so many powerful ninjas that he can beat Itachi considerably fast. If you say "he cannot summon edo tensei" you are taking away is best technique. A technique which is very powerful and very hard to control and master. Orochimaru and Kabuto have loads of chakra plus the incredible knowledge about the world. Moreover, if you take away Edo tensei from Kabuto is the same as you say "itachi cannot use susanoo". Makes no sense. Is part of their arsenal. You can argue if it is fair or not but it actually does not matter. He would be able to use edo tensei so he would use and win

Itachi doesn't have the chakra reserves to use all the jutsu he did living against Kabuto. Itachi would've had his chakra drain out and then become easy picking for Kabuto.

Btw, Itachi is my fourth favorite Character. Kabuto is in my top ten most hated characters, so no bias here.

Hm I dont fully agree on you because i think he could do the same thing as sasuke did by using amaterasu, but yet again im not sure so I accept your comment and opinion. But we are forgetting the main point here. If there was no war, he could just summon 50 guys vs 1 and instakill almost all characters (i underline almost).. His ability to control so many people is completly overwhelming.. In order to maintain the war interesting i think Kishi has given too much power to Kabuto, thats why he had to be defeated without being able to come back at all. The same thing as Pain.

let's see first of all you have to make it clear if we are talking about edo itachi or normal itachi
second me as a Sasuke fan i admitted that kabuto is stronger than Sasuke and itachi i'm not like one of these itachi wankers or so called fanboys who ride itachi without a logic

third itachi doesn't want to kill kabuto BUT in the same time Kabuto doesn't want to kill Sasuke

you saw how Kabuto Dodged Susano attacks both which is highly impressive if you ask me

in that fight itachi supposed to be dead in many ways kabuto killed him like 4 times

if normal itachi fought that Kabuto the match will not last even 1 minute
it was extreamly hard for Kabuto to fight Against 2 people and remember kabuto is not even an edo
and he is fighting with an edo with unlimited chakra and with Sasuke who has EMS

even as an edo itacho lost an eye just to use the final move Izanami

so again itachi as an edo is not stronger than Kabuto
remember finally itachi needed Sasuke help as well to break the sound genjutsu

But true, Kabuto no being able to see clone feints means Itachi could maybe peg him with Amaterasu or Totsuka.

And we're not sure about how Itachi's best Susano'o version and the Yata Mirror would do as a defense against Kabuto.
