Amaterasu is fast enough to hit Nagato before his Shinra Tensei, cuz it's arises fast and surprising directly on the targets body. One hit by Totsuka can kill Nagato and also seal him, and additional Itachi can use powerful Genjutsu (also without eye contact). Itachi catch his opponents already in the beginning of the fight in his genjutsus, they're so faster than Nagatos Chibaku Tensei.

A simple way, how Itachi can avoid Chibaku Tensei - Amaterasu.

I agree, he's overrated but i don't think sasori, raikage or minato can actually beat him in a one on one fight (it's debatable though)...

Once again if hes fighting a fast taijutsu shinobi black flames are useless. If he fought naruto now I dunno, Or even Bee his tsukoyomi would probably be useless. Itachi without sealing sword versus a jinchurichi I dont know. Im pretty sure rinnegan can see chakra, also Im pretty sure its better than sharingan, whether mangekyo or eternal mangekyo. If all is right from whats been mentioned about nagato and that he is not original rinnegan from birth then an original rinnegan user probably could do way more.

itachi hardly held back? you know not of what you speakk....If itachi wanted he could of amaterasu'd at the beginning....

Sasuke would not be able to dodge it because he wouldn't have seen it before...
He purposefully used amaterasu first on the fire jutsu, then missed a few shots, so sasuke knows how it works...

as tobi said, if itachi wanted sasuke dead, he would have been a long time ago

You may need to reread the manga, his other genjutsu can be broken easily? tell that to orochimaru , naruto, , Fast taijutsu shinobi? only people dodging amaterasu are raikage 3,4 and naruto , maybe another person on the list, cba to check it

Reread naruto part 1 kakashi vs itachi chapters, you'll realize why tsukyomi will work on bee and naruto

I believe Itachi is superbly under-rated. Itachi went and beat the six paths in what... five mins...? Itachi could easily take most people in the manga/anime. sry to most but itachi could even beat naruto, "tobi", sasuke, and madara... kabuto ain't even a factor, tobi will deal with him soon enough and he will be out of the picture..... hes so freaking annoying anyway. so yes i'm an itachi fan and do believe that he could take most anyone on the show, however i do not believe he could take gaara, the tsuchikage(current), or shikamaru. these select few are among a handful of people i personaly believe have way more talent than led to believe at first. Itachi is smart and can win on that in many fights alone but also he is powerful and that is a dangrous combo. But all in all id give the top 10 right now, based on my feel of Kishi,:
1) Madara/Tobi
2) Sasuke
3) Naruto
4) Itachi
5) Bee
6) Kabuto
7) Raikage
8) Tsuchikage
9) Gaara
10)Tsunade, Mizukage, or Kakashi (haven't decided yet)
