My avatar says it all.
Minato may be better. Madara too. And that's where I will end my list.
Naruto gaining abilities has earned him nothing against Itachi. He is still beneath him. He may have almost tamed the fox, but as long as he does not pull off that TBB, he is not stronger than Itachi.
All of the Akatsuki...just puppets. All of them were puppets, and this was proven by the fact that even the most loyal of them - shark-boy Kisame, did not know who the masked man truly was. They all existed purely to assist and speed up the collecting of the beasts.
On the other hand, I expect Itachi to really stop this little egoistic punk Kabuto, for Kabuto's role in the war ends at the moment when Naruto and Bee stop the revived Jinchuuriki, and the Kage stop Madara. All of the mighty dead people will be beaten by the mighty living ones, for, as we have learned so far, in this manga, the young will always surpass the old. And then we will probably see the true extent of his power, for I have never seen him go all out against anyone.
As for A and Bee...Well, they're too hot-blooded to beat him. He would have a tactic before they would even assess his abilities.
And Sasuke...well, he's just too emo for me.

Not really much of an argument there, I know, but until I see what he can do with the EMS, I will not jump to conclude anything, especially when taken into consideration that he is not like Itachi on the field of battle. He is just too driven by hate, lust for power and his own overconfidence, that it is just silly to believe he will be such a great tactician, and to be able to keep his cool.
Itachi, no matter how you put it, will stay in the top 5. Yeah, I know. I'm a fanboy. But let's face it - every now and then, people get impressed by some side characters, that are there only to fill an arc. Now, Itachi is a recurring character. His role far surpasses his abilities, as he has proven to be a very complex personality in the manga, even more impressive with his brotherly love, peaceful ways faced with the true burdens of the world, and his final intentions only to "PROTECT THE LEAF", even if he is a martyr.
How many people are like that? No one I've seen in the manga so far. He is skilled beyond belief, and it derives from his personality, one that must continue to exist as long as the conflict between Naruto and Sasuke is there. And basically, that's the main storyline. Even the ninja war is a kind of a filler, so we can get even more pumped before the final showdown, when the skills of the two will be multiplied many times compared to the battle in the Final Valley.
But hey, that's just me. Perhaps you all are right...Or maybe, Naruto and Sasuke turn gay, and say that love between men is what will bring peace in the end. With Kishi, if anything, I've learned to expect nothing.
