Is Tobirama really powerful or not?

tobirama was killed in a surprise attack in which he had no knowledge about the enemy.
But on the other hand, the 20 ELITE shinobi had full knowledge about him, and two of them were 6 tailed jinchurikis.

Darui defeating kinkaku and ginkaku was just pure plot and luck.

i would like to see how naruto,obito,madara,hashirama,muu etc.... would win against them without saying their favorite word , without knowing they don't have to say it.

its virtually IMPOSSIBLE to defeat kin-gin bros without knowledge.

Still tobirama atleast survived , which means he is better than the top 10 ?

Lol, I don't think many of the top10 can beat the kin/gin bros xd wtf are you thinking? Cause Darui was lucky as hell that he wasn't sealed. And Shika/ino/choji only worked cause they had the gourd. Without that they had never sealed him. He was on a rampage 1 vs 10.000 soldiers, and probably did as much damage as Madara.

And there isn't really proof that he killed tobirama. It was said that the kin/gin bros left tobirama on the verge of death once, which is the same as defeat. They probably also killed the 2nd raikage at the time. Don't underestimate them U_U

here's another translation where it says Kinkaku killed Tobirama......this was the same translation as in the anime also. But yeah I did say I'm not sure what people rank them as, but I've never seen them in any top 10/20 lists ever.

He can use water style without any nearby water...whattt no wayy. earth is only other element you actually need to have as a prequisite of using that jutsu

he has s/t ninjutsu.we know nothing of how it works..the only concrete thing we know is its inferior to minato and obitos

he invented edo tensei..now this one is actually impressive.however its been stated several times he did not master it..i mean,what kind of hero WOULD master such a dark technique? i choose to think of this like rasengan

minato invented rasengan

jiriyah improved it by making giant rasengan and i think twin rasengan(sorry if I'm wrong about that)

Naruto combines wind with rasengan and makes FRS..all rasengans were good,you see but obviously they improved with each no user..not at all unlike edo tensei

in conclusion i think tobirama is overrated.I'm sorry for the offensive title,just trying to get your attentions..i made this is response to someone (who shall remain nameless) who said tobirama is top 5

You can't even actually prove that he is fodder.... The store doesn't even go in-depth to most of his other jute shoes and how he fights we can't sum up if he was good

Orochimaru advanced the edo tensei technique and Kabuto finally

dude he was a kage that is proof enough that he was very powerful
and yes he can manipulate water without any water source nearby...he was the strongest water manipulater that ever lived
he can tel location and number of enemies by just touching the ground
he invented edo tensei....so what if he didnt perfect it maybe he invented it right before he died and didnt have time to master it just like minato didnt have time to infuse an element with the rasengan because he died before he could
he had a s/t technique .....bringer of darknes
