Depends, because avoiding eye contact could also be their downfall depending on the uchiha their fighting. Most shinobi are oblivious to the fact that they even had Susanoo/Amaterasu let alone Izanami SMH.

Besides KA doesn't need eye contact the only draw back to this technique is supposedly the intervals in which it can be used again.

I just think people have mistook op opponents for gods. In fact the case with Itachi should be a precedent. Itachi had all the abilities which could state that KA shouldnt work on him yet it did.
He is an uchiha therefore he might get some immunity from it
He has the sharingan/ms will could further increase his immunity
He is a master illusionist which could further increase his immunity.

Even after all this, KA still got the better of him. An uchiha, with the ms and a master illusionist something that if the manga hasnt shown us that ka has gotten the better of itachi, people couldve used to state that itachi might be immune to the effects of KA, but we all know what happens next.

Yeah. OP is not everything. Look at Kurama, his power is way beyond Madara's, yet Madara was able to control him. Having all the power in the world won't make a difference if someone has the ability to control you. Sakura with Shisui's genjutsu can defeat Hashirama, Madara, Naruto, etc.

i say hashi spam his mokuton clones and then op shi sui even without a glitch. just look at how powerful edo madara's hashi inhanced clones that each can create its own susanoo and fight 1vs1 and dominate the kage's . hence real hashi's mokuton clones are way powerful and way perfect and kill fodder shisui in an instant. that's how hashi gonna fight shi sui and he gonna pwn shi sui in a minute.:ice:

Why people forget that nagato could control other people easily but could not control naruto. Madara controlled nine tails. But he wasnt able to control hashirama. If shishui could control anyone, he could have not died that easily.

To OP:
No, there are ways to block Genjutsu, Kishi shows us every once in a while that there are ways to block your vision against Genjutsu e.g. the recent (SM Kabuto), and since Hashirama fought an EMS user in the past, he definitely knows how to fight a Uchiha without being caught by his Genjutsu.

KA would work on him. he could get him to commit suicide or something, assuming that shisui can use KA at that moment and it affects hashirama. It is unknown what are the requirements to affect an opponent though. All I'm saying is that hashirama might be able to avoid getting affected in the first place somehow because we have no idea if it needs eye contact or something. It's a dead end until we get more info on KA. :|

i highly doubt it. even itachie said it every jutsu has a weakness. from what i seen of madara using hashi powers he would have alot to worry about about. when danzo used koto it was easily broken by a 3rd party so i dunno. we'd have to see that technique being used in battle. but i doubt depending on 1 tech against the first would get you for.
