While I do agree those are pretty major flaws , I think in context of a 700 chapter manga that they don't really drag it down that much. I guess what I'm trying to say is that the good outweighs the bad. The manga was solid for a good 500-600 chapters.

The war arc is the source of many asspull that drag down Naruto manga quality.

With me it's more of an issue of quality over quantity. While it had more positives than negatives, the negatives were so awful that they overshadow the good. I would say that it stopped being solid the moment Tobi appeared, as that mystery was a massive waste of time.

Actually Kishi is below average as a writer. His first editor was the reason it was ever good. After he left after the Itachi arc the story went to shit.

after sealing Juubi Hagoromo researched releasing It...after finding out Juubi's power was required he could've went back and sealed it into himself with Hamura's help.(the first RCT..may have crumbled)

Kyurama confirmed he had the Gedou mazo so nothing was really retconned. Until Kishi actually fully explains it.

The databook said that the brothers sealed the Juubi in the moon and that was it. Kishi created a plot hole.

Part 1 was good and it was one of the animes that I grew up with, but now that I have read so many other manga to compare with, overall I have to say that it is a pretty mediocre manga.
