About an 8/10 for the entire series, as the Kaguya arc pulled it down for me.

I'm late, but here goes:

A story with a bad ending is forgettable. Starting with a score of 10:

Unlike most, I am ok with the Obito reveal, but Obito vs Shinobi Alliance dragged on way too long. Minus .5 for poor pacing.

Madara was a legend and crazy powerful - let him be the last villain - then let Madara and Hashi have final words, let Kakashi and Obito resolve their problems, just don't do the BZ or Kaguya stuff. At all. Minus 2.5 for screwing up a good thing.

Movie as Chapter 699.5: Obvious marketing ploy, no plot movement. Minus 3.0 for selection of content. And minus 2.0 for redefining the accepted definition of canon.

Final score 2/10

There is tons more of them that make this manga a 3/10.

I see some Salty reaction . I don't know but if Manga was that bad then why people are still discussing about it and still visit Narutobase . That means Kishi did something right and left it to fan's imagination whether they like his ending or not .

I thought it was great until the whole Ninja War arc happened. Obito/Rin flashbacks annoyed the hell out of me, but Madara made things interesting again. Kaguya was forgettable. BZ one shotting JJ Madara to was stupid. Naruto v. Sasuke was a good way to end it, although I wish it was a bit longer. I noticed it starting to go downhill around the Five Kage arc since it wasn't drawing me in as much as it it did before. Still a good manga and I would read again.

I liked the series for the most part. I would give it an 8/10. I think either Kishi was tired of writing it after so many years or the editors wanted a different story that he didn't want to write or the publishers wanted to give other manga a chance. Or the Japanese fans wanted the 15 year celebration with a movie, musical etc. more than they wanted Kishi to tie up loose ends. Let's be realistic, pleasing Japanese fans is more important to the publisher. I thought it was good until Naruto and Sasuke met with the sage. From that point on it was rushed. Kaguya was a total waste of time.

Madara as the FV would have been much better. That way there would have been no questions or loose ends about Hamura or Kaguya and why she wanted a WZ army. With their powers from the sage, the two of them with Sakura, Kakashi and Obito should have been able to beat Madara. I think without bringing in Kaguya there would have been more time to tie up loose ends. I would have liked Sasuke and Naruto to have a longer fight. I like 698 and 699 but I could have done without 700. I would have liked that to have stayed in my imagination rather than the way it was done.

Kaguya existed soley because Madara'spkan was too morally grey and a lot of readers didn't see it as that bad.

So Kishi brought Kaguya in to make Infinite Tsukuyomi objectively bad and make Team 7 saviors of the world. Kaguya was nothing more than a plot device.

This. Awesome until the end of the Pain arc, war arc was ok, Madara arc was good, Kaguya arc was awful, the end was decent enough.

Solid 7/10 overall. Could have been 8 or 9, the second half of part 2 could have been better.

To an extent, yeah. I'm still on here because it's also a community to chat with. I could give 2 shits what happens to Naruto now. I've moved on to Bleach and FT.

The manga was okay but I've seen better and the fact is the the 4th great ninja war story arc was too long eventually I just lost interest around the part were they take on Madara at that point it went downhill from there
