Is Kakashi now stronger than Itachi?

Itachi is stronger than kakashi period. Tobi stated that if he didn't keep secrets from itachi he would be dead. Kakashi guy naruto n bee have discovered his abilities n just now hurting him. In part 1 kakashi said itachi wasn't even fighting with half of his full strength against four jonins n u think kakashi is stronger.

Want your thoughts guys. This is IF they both have knowledge on eachother. Kakashi has Kamui, and we've seen the speed that it warps people. Itachi doesn't have the speed to dodge it. Kakashi is also able to spam it quite a few times. Itachi has Tsukuyomi but that won't work if they both have knowledge on eachother. Amaterasu is his only other oneshot in this match, since Kakashi is fast enough to dodge Totsuka. Amaterasu didn't kill the Samurai and Karin wasn't badly hurt by it. It will not end Kakashi immediately but Kamui will end Itachi straight away. Kakashi also has more stamina than Itachi; Itachi got a 2.5 in the databooks whereas Kakashi got a 3, and we all know Kakashi's stamina has gone up since then. I think Kakashi would win this.

Kamui GG is real. It's canon now. Accept it. Believe it.

My thoughts are that kakashi will most likely be using kumai to extinguish Amaterasu since itachi will be the first to act; though amaterasu or kumai will never be an opening attack. Kumai is definitely awesome but with itachi having intel on kakashi and vise versa, kumai will be used as a defensive technique in this situation. itachi wins mid to high difficulty due to kakashi developed tactics. kakashi has improved since part 1 but he only improved to be up to itachis level in part 1. Itachis other abilities completely wipe kakashi out.

Honestly full info on each other.. Don't you think both would send shadow clones to create an opening to kill the real one? Apperently the sharingan has trouble distinguishing real from shadow clones. Pretty much its a fight who could catch the other of guard. But realky id give the fight to no one. I think they would even out pretty good

I don't think he will make Kage Bunshins and have them protect him faster than Kamui. They don't have anything prepared before the fight. But Kakashi has feats of activating his eye and warping the nail and the Susanoo arrow VERY quickly. Kakashi still takes this IMO.

Kakashi loses before he can even flip his head band to show his sharingan... IMO

i like how most people are immediately starting the discussion with ms abilities, when have we ever seen either of these 2 shinobi go straight to ms in a fight besides kakashi tanking susanoo arrows? :sy:

that said kakashi's canon kamui usage to date does level the playing field because it may no longer be a last resort for him, but then again neither was tsukuyomi/amaterasu for itachi, but most assume the fight will make it too that point, the way i see it , it would mostly be a 3 tomoe battle with the final couple of strategic moves revolving around each persons ms, given that itachi has an upper hand, he weaves seals faster than kakashi's sharingan can read them, thats a severe advantage in a battle with 2 fairly evenly matched shinobi, taijutsu theyre pretty even from what i can tell, and itachi is still a genjutsu master so you have to take that into account.

kakashi however has a wide arsenal and 3 nature manipulations to counter the ninjutsu's itachi would throw at him, so i believe he has some advantage in jutsu usage, but in the end it would come down to ms usage and theres no way for itachi to counter kamui besides clones, which kakashi would be aware of, and could play to his advantage

i think itachi has a higher probability of winning but its not too large of a margin, six out of ten times id think itachi would win a battle between these 2, which is an improvement from what i thought before recent developments in the manga

Wow you are probably the first kakashi fan on this post to make sense. But I believe itachi does have a counter for kamui. He is a sharigun master who was given the mission of assassination of the uchiha clan so I'm sure he knows every counter for any sharigun ability.

from everything weve seen from him the only way i can conceive him avoiding kamui in a direct battle is clone misdirection, but please let me know if you have another theory on how he can avoid kamui, because he doesnt have the speed to avoid it, nor does he have any s/t feats

No Itachi doesn't beat Kakashi in jutsu, you're nuts. Kakashi has over 1000 jutsu. I'm not saying quantity matters but variety and versatility does. Kakashi has 3 chakra natures while Itachi has 2. Itachi has a better variety when it comes to MS techniques but Kakashi has the more overpowered MS technique that pretty much beats Amaterasu, Susanoo and Tsukuyomi (debatable)

- Not to mention his OP MS abilities...

Also, Itachi could simply put him a basic Genjutsu and finish him there and then... just because Kakashi's better with Kamui doesn't mean he can take on Itachi...

Kakashi has the superior intelligence and faster hand seals (according to the most recent databook, both Kakashi and Itachi have 5s in Intelligence and Hand Seals, so it's pretty much a matter of opinion). I'll give you the other three. Kakashi would easily break a basic genjutsu, even from Itachi. Itachi can't distinguish Kakashi's clones from the real Kakashi, and so he wastes MS tech on clones.

based on what pretense? there have only been 6 ms users in the uchiha's history and only one of those had st capabilities, and that was obito's. you cant assume itachi will have a knowledgeable counter for something that was unprecedented that he was unaware of, save for OP's battle stipulations of prior knowledge for this battle

also he assassinated the clan in their sleep with help from someone, he didnt battle them, theres a big difference between the 2
