Is anyone annoyed with Hinata Hyuga's character?

However, I have one question, is there a reason to why she's that shy? To the point she can't even speak words of encouragement for her own teammates here and there?

I mean... think about it.

She has friends all around her who love her for god knows what reason. Her family is rich and powerful and she can have anything she wants while coming out basically on top of Konoha by heading their most powerful (live) family. Even her crush has always been nice to her despite having every reason to loathe her for stalking and watching him for years. To me, acting all anxious and quiet despite all this seems beyond selfish and beyond ungrateful; for me it comes off as passive aggressive. Think of it, people only give her what she wants because she acts so fragile and hurt even though she's not, she has every reason to be confident, so doesn't it seem like she's doing this intentionally so people are nice to her?

the only person she really would've been afraid of is Neji and since he's a "branch member", he really shouldn't have bothered her that much

Hiashi basically told Kurenai that she can have Hinata.He literally cast her aside and focused on Hinabi's training,that's disownment by definition.

That's actually sort of funny since 1) She still carries the Hyuuga name 2) Pretty sure the Hyuuga clan wouldn't have actually disowned a Byakugan user whether they were weak or not 3) She still has body guards so she must be regarded as something important in the clan still, and 4) Everyone would've gone batshit crazy if that was the truth.

Did he disown her? No.
Did she try to get stronger and prove them wrong? Apparently not since we know she spent most of her childhood watching her crush be lonely and did nothing to help him.

They both are background characters so how is Sakura "leagues above" Hinata again?Honestly if you or anyone else are that bothered by people thinking Hinata is main character material then there is some insecurity going on.
