Is anyone annoyed with Hinata Hyuga's character?

Let's be serious, when it comes to this female, she is nothing special, and I will never understand why her fanbase is larger than Sakura's.

If you haven't noticed, she is a side character, so it is very irritating to see her being compared to characters who are higher up in the food chain. If you think about it, she has the least relevance of then entire K11 with the exception of Tenten, but even Tenten had her moment when she fought Temari in part 1 but that's a different story. Even when it comes to Shino, he might not have much panel time, but at least he isn't an annoying character. She looks like she only serves as a pairing service to Naruto. That is basically what she is good for as without Naruto;s existence she is pretty much even more non existent than she already is.

Hinata is a one dimensional character who only spouts "Naruto kun" every single moment she can get the chance. When it comes to her teammates, if they were to be endangered then she would give a rats ass about their safe being as opposed to Naruto Kun who she thinks about every damn minute. When it came to the search arc for Sasuke, what did Hinata constantly think about?

She didn't say a damn thing. Some teammate. She only cares about Naruto.
Even when it came to Neji's death, she cried for a few seconds and then held Naruto juns hand. I bet if Naruto kun got stabbed like that, she would be on the ground in tears, OH WAIT! She is on the ground in tears thinking about how much she failed to save Naruto.

When Hinata held Naruto kuns hand, she thought how big and warm It felt. This is an obvious sign of obsession issues. We are in the middle of a war, Hinata. This is no time to be thinking about how big and warm Naruto kuns hand is, not to mention right after your cousins unexpected death from Obito. Yes, good to know how much sense and feelings you have for other people besides Naruto kun Hinata.

Moreover, when it comes to her development and her overall power, she is barely above Konohamaru. She does not even care about getting stronger to please her father. The only time when she wants to show her strength is when Naruto is either in trouble or she is trying to protect Naruto. I don't think I need to go back to the time when she tried to save Naruto from Tendo Pain. She puts other people in danger just to help or save Naruto, and this is not the right thing that a real shinobi is supposed to do. You expect someone with this type of mindset to lead a clan? Get real. She only decides to lurk around crying when she sees Naruto in pain or trouble. when in fact she never even makes an effort to say what's wrong or how you feeling. You know, normal things that people usually say when they care about someone. That is bad character development and she does not contribute anything to the story than being a second pairing fodder to Naruto.

Naruto, Sasuke, Kakashi, Sakura, Neji, Kiba, Shino, Ino, Tenten, Choji, Shikamaru have all expressed feelings for other thing s or people while Hinata only cares for Naruto. What is Hinata's dream? Does she even have a legitimate dream besides being with Naruto? Though so.

Anyway, these are my thoughts.

Obviously you two conventiently leave out the fact Naruto was pinned down to the ground by Pain and Hinata was the only one who did something.But please do go on and cherry pick events that suit your bias.

It's kind of hard to hate Hinata. She's a really sweet character. Some characters are built through the anime and not manga. Hinata is a character that was built through the anime. In those Pre-Shippuden fillers, the Team Kurenai and Naruto episodes were pretty entertaining.

She's easy to relate to. Lacking confident is something a lot of people share.
