Hinata's a shy girl in general. She loves an outgoing boy. Although, even if its not towards the boy she loves, she's still partially shy. Me being exactly like that, I understand the shyness and anxiety her character portrays. I'm definitely not annoyed by her, if anything, I am proud of her and respect her for standing up to Pain. She overcame her fears and actually spoke out for once. The fact that it was for love makes it ten times better. By doing that, she's done something I cant, and that's be confident and do something you actually believe.

It does'nt matter what happened later,the point is had Hinata not stepped up Naruto would've ended with him having Kurama extracted from him.It's baffling how some would deny this just because they hate the character.

Semantics,if you help foil a robbery by keeping the robbers locked in until the police arrive then does that mean you did'nt do something heroic?Hinata helped Naruto out and her getting hurt allowed him to break free from the chakra rods.

See here's the thing..those are theories.They are less likely to come true and only a miniscule number actually do to some extent.You can ignore theories that sound ridiculus,and yes I do think Hinata meeting Kaguya is far fetched but that does'nt mean I'm going to spend every single minute bashing her.

Also if you have a problem with people praising characters that haven't done anything to justify it,then why not go after the people who over hype characters like Kiba,Hiruzen,and others?

I dislike Hinata.

However, I have one question, is there a reason to why she's that shy (shy enough to stutter)? To the point she can't even speak words of encouragement for her own teammates here and there?

I mean... think about it.

She has friends all around her who love her for god knows what reason. Her family is rich and powerful and she can have anything she wants while coming out basically on top of Konoha by heading their most powerful (live) family. Even her crush has always been nice to her despite having every reason to loathe her for stalking and watching him for years. To me, acting all anxious and quiet despite all this seems beyond selfish and beyond ungrateful; for me it comes off as passive aggressive. Think of it, people only give her what she wants because she acts so fragile and hurt even though she's not, she has every reason to be confident, so doesn't it seem like she's doing this intentionally so people are nice to her?

the only person she really would've been afraid of is Neji and since he's a "branch member", he really shouldn't have bothered her that much
