She really dedicated her life to becoming a full fledged ninja when she realized she didn't want to repeat the mistakes which she made in the past. She became a ninja to stand on her own two feet and not rely upon anyone else. Although its less impressive than the other MC's reasons she is nevertheless a ninja that wants to mix strength with love.

OT: Now lets talk about Hinata. What feats or anything extraordinary did she show. She has a lack of feats and the whole purpose of her character is fanservice. Hinata should've never become a ninja and asking for an extra Gaiden about her is asking to waste more time on how she loves Naruto. It used to be stalking tbh.

When adding another Gaiden its gotta be a xhatacter that had a mysterious backstory or simply a character who's shown development throughout the manga. Hinata she has none of the above. Her skills are the least developed in K11. Can she even perform Rotation or how about 8 Trigrams 64 Palms? Sakura would deserve better than this woman Hinata because unlike Hinata we saw a big jump in Sakura's skill and intelligence. Hinata should be terminated from this manga because all she exists is to bore people with her Na-Na- Na ruuuu too Kunn. So many other characters out there deserve justice. Give them a Gaiden instead if a person complacent of her achievement as a Chunin and never taking that effort to get better.

I was in a way talking about both phases of her life. When I mentioned standing on her own two feet I meant the time where she recalled about her past. As a young girl she had very low self esteem so she had to look for Ino as support. The time where few girls bullied her about her forehead and Ino shoving up a poisonous flower up their mouth would be an example. The reason why she chose to become ninja was beacause she didn't want to be overly dependent on someone and to improve her own confidence level. Even if it was shitty compared to the others resolve it is still a thing we experience in our world today. Sakura took the effort to learn from this experience and vowed she would surpass Ino because she doesn't want to be someone pushed around by others, no does she want anyone always in front of her. This is her ninja way I guess.
