After reading this thread and many like it, it makes me life, poeple madra lost deal with. Its not plot no jutsu, its not an error or even a mistake, in an all out fight to the death as stated by madra himself he lost and why, becasue he was just that much weaker. Why it that? cause the author the creator of this work/world has deemed it so. I means he sat back thought about and said yes madra will lose cause hes not stronger and his quest/lust for that power will be the catalyst for much of the problem in the world of naruto. Its just how it it is. now if kishi ammends this thought somehow later on then it will be different but he wont so deal with it madra lost in a real fight,let go its not like someones father got there ass kicked infront of their sons and now it must be explained or comprehended lol.

Are you stupid? That is from a video game, meaning it doesn't count.If it's not in the manga, it doesn't count.The only way we can know how the fight between Madara and Hashirama went is for Kishi to write it, not some game maker.

Itachi GAVE Sasuke Amaterasu, or we may very well have seen something quite different come from him. As shown when he tried to burn Tobi alive. Sasuke's Blaze Release is his other MS ability. He gained Tsukiyomi when he implanted Itachi's eyes. Now he has 3 MS techniques + Susano'o. Chances are, Madara has something quite different that he hasn't shown as of yet.

Where in the manga does it state Itachi gave Sasuke Amaterasu? Also, Sasuke used tsukuyomi in his battle with Danzo, before Tobi implant Itachi eyes into Sasuke, so Sasuke gain tsukuyomi on his own.Furthermore, Madara has used Susanoo and tsukuyomi, so it's obvious that those abilities come with the Mangekyo Sharingan.As for blaze release, it's only shape manipulation of Amaterasu.

Okay now what is the number one enemy of TREES??? FIRE. What burns down a forest in seconds??? FIRE. Isnt Madara one of the strongest Uchiha + he had the 9 tails on his side...what ever happened to just spamming fire techs all day and burning down Hashirama..I mean I dont get how with a matchup like this Madara coulve lost.

EDIT: Since no one seems to get it... I am in no way saying that Madara is stronger than Hashirama I am just saying he had a slight elemental advantage and the 9 tails on his side which can only give him ahigher chance of winning. YET HE STILL LOST. My question is how the fuq does Madara lose with such an advantage when they were both considered equal in terms of skill.
