I don't know how he died but didn't kakazu once say something about fighting Hashirama?? He might have killed him.. You never know.

Kakuzu didn't win that fight. It was a drawn-out battle. He was bragging that he went toe-to-toe with Hashirama, not defeating him. That in itself was an impressive feat during their time. Hashirama won, considering Kakuzu didn't manage to kill him, take his heart and add it to his collection.

Masashi did think it out.Naruto and Sasuke were compared to Hashirama and Madara by Kakashi at the end of their fight.Zetsu was said to watxh over all of Indra and Ashura's riencarnations,and who do we see at the end of Naruto Vs Sasukr in part 1?

Who did we see watching Sasuke Vs Itachi,Naruto Vs Pain,and Sasuke after the Danzo fight?

Zetsu was shown watching their battles - watching over the reincarnations which he was said to do.Naruto Vs Sasuke happened 10 years ago in the manga and Zetsu was there watching and Kakashi noted their similarities to Madara and Hashirama.

Sage mode was and is god mode for all of them (im not counting these rikodou power ups juubi jin etc).No one said were or how he died,he and madara together could eleminate entire shinobi world if they felt like it,maybe aliens obducted him to train them,who knows

Base hashirama soloed perfect susano with no use of saqe mode and your fodder gokage were soloed by perfect susano with out even denting it
