Faye saw the phoenix coming and didn't bother rushing. Her feet left the ground as wind chakra expelled from her legs, rectangular barriers of compressed air forming beneath her like stepping stones. She moved through them without any particular pattern, sideways, diagonal, cutting angles that made no logical sense to track, the phoenix carving through the space she'd just been a half second before. It found nothing. She was already somewhere else.

"And there it is." She said it the way you say something you've been waiting to say for a while. Calm. Slightly tired. There was something behind it, not anger, not quite. More like the quiet recognition of a pattern she'd seen before and never particularly enjoyed. The taunting, the goading, the pushing. Mira fought like she needed you to feel small before she felt satisfied. Faye had forgotten about that part. Her voice carried something underneath it though, sound chakra threaded through every syllable, a high frequency wave that slipped past Mira's ears before she'd even registered the words. The ringing started small. It would build. Disrupting her chakra control and balance as she transformed. She's fall fall face first if she tried to move.

Faye watched it from above, continuously repositioning across her wind steps. She clapped right after speaking. Not dramatically. The sound that came out was nothing like a clap should be, a sharp, resonant crash like two heavy cymbals colliding paralysing Mira immediately. Then wind barriers she'd been stepping off released. They came from all sides simultaneously, rectangular shapes of compressed air slamming into Mira from every angle while she stood frozen and unable to respond. Faye simply landed 10 meters from Mira, her sage mode fading as she returned to normal.

"We should stop. if this is how it's going to be." The words came out soft. She looked at Mira for a moment. "This isn't what I wanted our last memory to be. This isn't how I fight anymore."

Type: Offensive | Supplementary
Rank: A rank
Range: Short - Mid range
Chakra: 40
Damage: 80
Description: A more movement based technique of Baria no Michi, where the user will dash towards the opponent and as they run, they will expel Wind chakra from their legs, creating tangible rectangular shapes of Wind, which acts as steps for them, allowing the user to go into the air. The user will then jump forward as they spin, and the user will release these already formed shapes towards the opponent, encircling them and slamming into the opponent from all sides, as the user drops down upon the opponent from above, delivering a final heel drop. In doing so, the user releases a small 1x1 rectangular Wind shape, from his heel, onto the opponent's head for blunt damage. Alternatively, these steps can be used as an evasion method, allowing the user to create these steps from the barriers, and use them to move around an opponent for example, or over an obstacle, only to release the barriers towards the opponent once done.
Notes:
-Can only be used four times per fight
-No A rank and above Baria no michi techniques for the same turn, and the next

Rank: A
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short-Long
Chakra Cost: 30
Damage Points: N/A
Description: The user, gathering their sound chakra into their throat and emitting a sound (anything from a simply whistle to speaking or screaming, etc), creates a high frequency wave that targets a foe's ear, causing this portion of sound to remain in their opponents' ears, manifesting as a building ringing sound. The ringing continues to grow as time progresses, originally disrupting how a person hears hampering their ability to think clearly. From that point, it starts to mess with their balance until they become incredibly disorientated, and unable to mold chakra properly due to this.
Note: Lasts 8 turns and reduces damage of the jutsu used against the user by -5 until this effect wears off while increasing the chakra cost of every technique the enemy uses by +10

Rank: A
Type: Offensive
Range: Short - Long
Chakra Cost: 30
Damage Points: N/A
Description: The user charges sound chakra into each of their hands and slams them together, creating a sound similar to two heavy golden cymbals crashing together. As the hands slam together, it releases a high pitched, high frequency sound wave, resonating in the enemies ear, and causing muscle paralysis upon hearing it. As the loud sound happens, it creates an echoing amongst the field, trapping any who hear it under paralysis, causing slight pain to them, causing their ear drums to bleed. Paralysis lasts one turn but the user cannot use any other sound techniques for 2 turns after using it.

Despite her attempt at closing the distance, it seems Faye’s usage of Sage Mode was quite something, but it wasn’t enough to satisfy Mirabelle’s intent. This whole spar wasn’t just to build one last memory, it was a test of her own kind. Despite the wind barriers being launched, Mirabelle remained in place, allowing the impact to strike her ascended form while the deafening noise rattled her for a moment. While it was kind of pointless, Mirabelle’s read on Faye’s lips was enough to make out certain words. Mirabelle remained in place, more than capable of amounting a strong response, but she allowed a moment to pass before she spoke.

You really think that’s all this was? For memories? No, it runs deeper than that, Faye.

Mirabelle’s voice growled, her eyes fixating on Faye’s only for her to laugh, though the laugh itself was deepened due to her form, resulting in a devilish yet familiar tone. She took a moment to reminisce on things, the people she’s lost, the revelations of what happened two years ago and now…Faye’s clear misunderstanding of the circumstance.

Faye, I’ve died. Twice as a matter of fact, at times where I felt I can make a difference in this world, and yet I humbly remembered, I am not as strong as people view me as. Sure, I was of the Hayabusa Clan at one point and now look at them…extinct. I’m a Jinchuriki now, one of the most powerful abilities this world has known, and yet it amounted to me dying still. This world, it’s harsh, dangerous and downright unfair. However…even with that in mind, we continued. We lived through tough times, managed to win a literal war against Gods, but if we aren’t prepared…everything we know, love and care for will die…including you.

She said, a melancholic feeling washed over her and yet her visage showed no real sign of emotional change. She knew however, Faye can detect her emotions, so she would likely understand what this meant.

I cannot leave this world without knowing the ones I love can fend for themselves. So I wanted to test it for myself, to see if I can really just leave you all…but I can't expect everyone to be able to do, it’s not everyone’s destiny to be the strongest…but I wanted to at least make sure, you can still fight, and well…I can't say I see much of a difference…besides the cheap tricks with sound…

She said sarcastically nearing the end of her statement, and with that in mind she inhaled and exhaled, preparing to finish what she came for. She instead of attacking, activated a technique which would have marked her as the ‘Unburnt’, a feathery sigil appearing on her chest as a result, while also tapping into another technique, as formula whips start to spread across the terrain, inching closer and closer to Faye, their intention? Well, to be seen.

In all our years of sparring, you actually finally hit me for once, but can you do it a second time? I’ll give you a moment to gather your Senjutsu, or do whatever you want- no cheap tricks doe or else I’ll smack you hard haha. Please, show me what you can do…you’re strong, but you haven’t tapped into your resources, have you? The spirits, I can feel their presence…I said once and I’ll say it again, show me what the real Voice of House Katsuryoku can do, that way I can leave this world in peace…knowing you can protect the ones you’ve come to love, Faye.

(Katon: Sanshō̄o No Kate) | Fire Release: The Phoenix Feathered Muffler
Type: Defensive/Supplementary
Rank: B
Range: Self
Chakra: 20 (-5 per turn)
Damage: N/A
Description: The Phoenix Feathered Muffler is a simple technique that involves the release of fire chakra that will cloak the user. Although this technique fully cloaks the user - as many defensive techniques do, it does not offer the typical defensive properties that a normal armor would, in fact, outside of the fiery golden glow that will emanate from the users visage, and the techniques special interaction with fire techniques, virtually nothing will change as the shroud is almost completely incorporeal. However, when the user is in contact with a flame that is either devoid of chakra, comprised of the users chakra, or comprised of the chakra of one that the user has a blood contract with, such as summons, the shrouds true abilities will be displayed. The user will be capable of interacting with any flame or fire technique that they produce without suffering from harm or adverse effects - such as respiratory problems - not only that but, should they so wish, they will be capable of interacting with fire as if it were a solid, liquid or gas - such as standing on top of a flame despite its incorporeal qualities or floating within a fire. This ability signifies the user as the 'Unburnt', gracing the user with an ability previously believed to be the sole realm of the Dragon and Phoenix. (Does not grant the user immunity to enemy fire techniques).

Notes:
This technique can be used a maximum of twice, will last until cancelled and has a two turn cooldown between usages. Furthermore a rather intriguing and strange effect of this technique is that, no matter how hard the user may try, they will be incapable of using water techniques while this technique is active. Stranger yet, is that the only solid portion of this technique is a feather comprised of golden ash, seemingly immune to anything but water, that will attach itself to the user's chest.
