All Out Fight (Unofficial)
Mid Range
Terrain: Mt. Katsuryoku, where it all started.

I'll be utilizing Mirabelle Uzumaki (Full Powered) in signature, post your bio and lets have some fun.

Even now, at this moment- I still find it hard to believe we’ve come this far…huh Faye.

A somber, tranquil voice spoke. There she sat, in the middle of a small meadow at the base of the mountain. Mirabelle Uzumaki, the Jinchuriki of Matatabi, former Kage of Sin- and of course, Faye’s best friend. An ocean of orange red hair cascaded down her back, her heterochromic eyes reflecting the world around them. She was calm, having made peace with the world and its changes. She announced her official retirement from active shinobi duties, in favor of raising her family. Many supported her cause, while others argued against it- considering she is one of the most powerful kunochi in the modern era. A fully realized Jinchuriki and of the Uzumaki Clan?

Her gaze didn’t divert just yet, it was fixated on the landscapes normally hidden in the snow, as almost year around this place is damn near a glacier in itself. However spring finally rolled in, and with that- she decided to visit an old friend, former lover but someone she always held deep within her heart. The memories of them spending time together for several months on this very mountain. Faye admittingly fell in love first, but Mirabelle’s own insecurities of other things caused to be a bit oblivious to this fact. It wasn't until her final day on the mountain, she was summoned back to Owatasumi for the Hayabusa’s yearly festive season, and she needed to leave. As the heiress, it was without a doubt her presence was required.

As Faye would come closer, Mirabelle’s posture shifted slightly, as she tilted her head with a smile. She always loved Faye’s innocent look, it was fun to probe at and tease. Her smile slowly faded, turning in a warm but neutral appearance. She knew what was going to come about this meeting, it was yet another fight- but this time to finally decide whom amongst the ladies truly reigned supreme. She however did not wish to rush into things, and would essentially gesture for her to take a seat.

Before we burn this place down to ash, let’s have a chat. Do you remember that day? The day we first met? Or do I have to retell it with facts, you might wanna muddy it with your own biasness.

She quipped, a small laugh escaped her lips. As she did, she raised her hand, as a small ember ignited but it wasn’t for an attack, it was for storytelling. As the flames whisked to life, they resembled a teen Mira and Faye, quickly running and prancing into the fields. She sighed, as the miniature Mirabelle's posture stood upright, as though scolding the very Faye of the past.

You were hard of hearing, ya know that?

(Sutōrīterā no Honō) - Flames of the Storyteller
Type: Supplementary/Offensive
Rank: D
Range: Short
Chakra: 10
Damage: N/A (20)
Description: A relatively small ability often used out of combat. Flames of the Storyteller (FotS) allows the user to abruptly release marvelous flames from varying body parts such as hand and quickly shape those flames to animate miniatures of a moving object, animal or the likes for storytelling purposes. Those flames do not harm the user as they are made by his/her chakra. The flames can also be shaped into text to convey messages that either seem to combust out of someplace from the user's body, appear hovering around the user, or burned into a solid, such as ground to leave a message behind. This is not only restricted to text, it could also be symbols or plain art. Burning a scroll or warming up objects is also a feasible task with this technique. FotS also has offensive applications by solidifying fire-natured chakra from one's body to create a simple, humble-sized object to protrude from the user's body, such as spikes of hand length.

The courtyard buzzed with quiet activity.

Dozens of pinkish-red figures moved across the surfaces of the rebuilt monastery. They looked humanoid but carried the strange quality of something that didn't fully belong to the physical world. Some swept fallen sakura leaves into neat piles along the stone pathways, their movements unhurried and precise. Others climbed the outer walls, placing fresh tiles along the roof with the kind of careful method that something without fatigue could maintain. A small group worked on the eastern wall, smoothing mortar between reinforced stones. Two more moved across the courtyard’s bismuth-veined floor, tracing the seams with a polish that coaxed the metallic threads back to their full iridescent brightness. Above, several figures moved slowly along the highest roof of the monastery, clearing away debris that winter had left in hard-to-reach corners.

Faye stood at the center of it all near the young sakura trees she had planted herself, arms folded loosely, watching. Caution was running around chasing bugs. She felt a quiet satisfaction. Not pride exactly, just a settled feeling of someone who had created something real and was now seeing it cared for.

Then she felt it.

A soul she recognized well, still far below the mountain’s lower slopes, not even close to the bridge yet. Faye’s eyes briefly drifted toward the corridor entrance.

She didn’t move. She didn’t rush. She let her gaze slide to the nearest Genki and spoke softly.

"There’s a guest coming up. Pass it along, nobody touches her."

The figure paused, flickering once to acknowledge her, and that was all.

By the time Mirabelle crossed the bismuth moat and walked through the winding corridor, past the colorful veins in the stone walls, past the layered presence of Genki that clung to the mountain’s interior like a living thing, Faye was already on the courtyard steps, holding a ceramic cup, completely relaxed.

She looked up when Mira stepped into the open sky, and her expression warmed. Caution moved closer as if traumatized by the incoming woman. He hopped onto his usual spot on Faye's shoulder for comfort.

"It's okay Caution." she said "You actually came." she continued.

Not surprised, not putting on a show of surprise, just warm, as if she was glad the thought had come to life.

She stood, placing her cup down on the step behind her.

"Come on. Before you say anything, let me show you around."

She guided Mira through it all without hurrying. The eastern wall that she had reinforced the first winter, the stones heavier and better seated than anything that had been there before. The upper mouth of the corridor where the Genki presence was strongest, layered and watchful in a way invisible to anyone else but felt in other ways, a certain weight in the air and a faint unease that was hard to explain. The bismuth veins that ran deep within the mountain and surfaced here along the courtyard floor, shifting color depending on the light and hour, the rooms and facilities. She mentioned the trees last, touching the bark of the nearest sakura briefly as she spoke about planting them in the first season after the reconstruction finished. There was no act to it, just someone who had put real effort into something and wanted it to be seen the right way.

They returned to the courtyard steps. Faye settled in again, watching Mira take in the entire scene.

Then Mira skipped past all of it. Straight to the memory, straight to the fight. No what did you do to this place, no how have you been, Faye. Just nostalgia and the promise of burning down something she had worked so hard to fix.

Faye stayed quiet for a moment.

Her eyes moved to the sakura trees, then back to Mira.

"...You didn’t even ask about the trees."

Not quite an accusation, but not nothing either. A small dry edge, there and gone in an instant, before her expression relaxed back into something unfazed. Faye stood, smoothing the front of her clothes.

"And we are absolutely not fighting up here."

"If you want to do this, we walk back down." She glanced at Mira with something resembling amusement. "You want to reminisce? You’ve got the whole trip to do it."

She turned toward the corridor entrance, lifting two fingers without looking back. Two of the pinkish-red figures near the eastern wall immediately peeled away from their work, moving toward the corridor mouth and beginning to reshape, their forms stretching and broadening into the shape of a flat platform, steady and level, big enough for both of them with room to spare.

Faye stepped onto it without ceremony and looked back at Mira.

"Come on. There's a clearing not too far from the base of the mountain." (OOC: The meadow you mentioned since I'm guessing that was the initial plan for a battlefield.)

As the platform began its slow descent through the mountain's winding interior, bismuth veins casting their colors across the walls in the dimness, she settled in, arms crossed loosely, and turned her gaze forward.

"So. Please help me recall me our first meeting." A brief pause. "With facts, as you put it."

The ghost of a smile appeared. Small. Warm. She was listening.

The ghost of a smile appeared. Small. Warm. She was listening.
Mirabelle’s eyes glistened earnestly, her smile slowly faded. As she clenched her palm shut, the flames snuffed out into a silent sizzle, as she lowered her head. She harboured something within her mind, but she needed to select her words carefully. Her emerald and sapphire eyes then gazed into the world beyond. Beyond huh? She thought. With deep thought, she turned to her and with a somber tone she shifted the topic.

Haha, that’s…history alright. However, I have some things that need to be said, Faye. I do apologize, you’ve taken so much time and effort it seems to redo this long lost relic, it’s almost as if I wasn’t somewhere I called home for several months. The Sakura Trees, remind me of what I love about you the most, physically at least. What caught my attention first, once upon a time…

She said, her finger circling in the grass. The mountainous air did bring back a level of nostalgia, the angsty duo running through the snow playing tag, finding warm firewood, and Mirabelle telling Faye some rather exaggerated stories, but she seemed so into them, it was almost hard for not to believe them. Her lips curled, as though resisting to tell her what’s going on.

Faye…this might be the last time you ever get to see me…forever…

She said, a bombshell dropping. She would have waited for her response before she continued, allowing her a moment to gather her thoughts. She started as tears began to flow, but she needed to be strong, stronger now than ever.

Take a seat, please? This...might take ya off the ground haha.

Spring had finally taken over the meadow. Behind them, Mount Katsuryoku stood in quiet silence, its upper reaches still crowned with streaks of lingering white, while the monastery rested far beyond sight. It was peaceful, almost painfully so. Faye remained seated across from Mirabelle, one knee drawn slightly upward, absentmindedly turning a blade of grass between her fingers as she listened.

"You don't have to apologize." Her voice was soft. "I wanted this place to feel alive again."

Her gaze drifted for only a moment toward the mountain behind them before returning to Mirabelle.

"It wasn't about rebuilding ruins..." A faint smile found its way onto her face. "...It was about making sure that, if someone ever came back...they'd still have somewhere that felt like home."

The compliment about the sakura trees lingered longer than she expected. It drew the smallest hint of color to her cheeks, accompanied by a quiet, almost embarrassed smile. A smile that didn't last long because...

"Faye... this might be the last time you ever get to see me... forever..."

Faye's smile vanished. Not abruptly, quietly. As though it had simply forgotten how to exist. She considered if she needed to feel what would come next. This was very reminiscent of their breakup... sorta...

The wind continued through the meadow, stirring loose strands of hair across her face. She didn't brush them away. Her eyes searched Mirabelle's. Not for deception, for certainty. Because she knew her. Mirabelle wasn't someone who exaggerated, not like this. She didn't throw words like forever around carelessly.

Silence settled between them. Long enough that the birds became noticeable again. Long enough for the weight of the sentence to sink in.

"I- ... ... ... hmm."

Barely above a whisper. A slow breath escaped her. Faye shifted forward, resting her forearms loosely across her knee, never once breaking eye contact.

"What happened?"

There was no panic in her voice. Only concern.

"...Tell me everything and don't leave anything out."

Mirabelle’s eyes widened into the distance, as the expanse of the land mirrored within her eyes. She paused her thinking, isolating every moment, thought, feeling and experience provided to her. The moments slid by rather quickly, but in the end- she sighed deeply and began the explanation.

About six months ago, Kingsley and I were approached by a group of researchers. They specialize in anomaly based ventures, looking for talented and powerful shinobi to recruit, sending them into the Rifts that spawned into our world. We weren’t too keen on it at first, but overtime we decided why not. We’ll make some extra money for taking care of the twins, but one thing our research found was that some rifts…weren’t permanent.

She paused for a moment, wondering how to share the next portion of information.

One of the Rift we founded, it led to another world parallel to our own…but something about it was unique. It was a massive expanse of land, stretching for miles and miles away. There was no signs of life, but its nature, water and food simply seemed infinite. We ventured into the rift several times, and with that time- we realized…maybe we can live a life away from all of this.

She said, her eyes starting to well with tears. Her mind remembered it all, the pain, the suffering…her death. She had enough, all she ever wanted now was to be free-yet the Gods continue to somehow intervene in human affairs.

So, we started gathering our own materials, and began building a home within the Rift. We didn’t report this one, we wanted it for ourselves- but we also notice…the rift’s entrance has been weakening. The doorway to that world won't last forever…we’ve estimated we’ve only got about a week left here before its completely sealed off. So…it’s with choice now, my family and I will be moving into the Rift, to raise our children and live out the rest our days, in peace and harmony.

She finally said, a smile on her face. A sad smile.

I can finally truly, attain peace. I have countermeasures in place, of course. We have these, they are marked kunai designed to respond to a specific command and chakra signature. They are linked back to this realm, but Kingsly and I aren't the one's they are registered to...my daughters are the ones.

She announced. She had finally intended this to be the case, a one way ticket for herself but for the children, something entirely different.

Once they are old enough, we'll be sending them back here- to live their lives as they see fit. Once they are 13, we'll send them to go and find their own path in life, whereas Kingsely and I will remain behind- spending the rest of lives together...

Faye sat quietly for a few moments after Mirabelle finished, her eyes wandering across the meadow. Then a small smile spread across her face.

"So...You found your impossible dream."

She let out a quiet huff of amusement then shook her head.

"Most people find a quiet village. You two decide on an entirely different world."

A soft laugh escaped her.

"And let me guess, Matababy approved the move?"

She tilted her head innocently but barely managed to keep a straight face. Her gaze returned to Mirabelle, the teasing easing into something warmer.

"I'm... genuinely happy for you, Mira. You've spent so much of your life carrying everyone else."

She gestured vaguely around them.

"Villages, people, wars, expectations (most of them your own). It's about time you got to be selfish."

Faye smiled.

"And I mean that as a compliment."

A brief silence settled between them before she sighed dramatically.

"...Though I do have one complaint."

She pointed at Mirabelle.

"You couldn't tell me six months ago? I really had to find out when the countdown was already at one week?"

She clicked her tongue in exaggerated disapproval.

"Terrible planning."

Another small laugh, then she shrugged.

"I'll forgive you...Eventually."

Her expression softened again.

"I am going to miss you." Faye paused "Caution's going to be insufferable."

At the mention of his name, the little hellhound looked up as if offended.

"He finally stopped being terrified of you...Mostly."

Faye smiled at the tiny interruption before looking back at Mirabelle.

"But...I'm glad the last thing I'll remember isn't you running off to another battle."

Mira’s posture shifted, as she rested- she lightly dragged her knees to her face. As the commentary about Matatabi agreeing, the beast in question took over Mirabelle’s body for a moment. Of course she didn’t but what can she do about it at this point?

Of course not! This idiot decided for me!!

She shouted before Mirabelle suppressed the rant. She laughed out loud sprawling her arms and legs out, laying flat. She continued to listen in silence, her eyes staring at the skies. It was shortly after that Faye mentioned missing her and this might be their last memory together.

A moment flashed before Mirabelle’s eyes, the last time they spoke on the mountain before she departed.

"Tch, stop being so stubborn!! I don't want to fight, I'm trying to help you."

Mirabelle’s eyes started to swell with tears once more, streams compiling one after the other. With quick movement, she pranced from her position into one upright as she tackled into Faye. As she sobbed, her tears landed, her eyes closed as the pain settled in.

I deserve this, yes of course! I fought so long, I’ve done so much good in my life. I’ve led a village, fought against Gods, fought against the world. I lost my family and friends, the Hayabusa. I don’t even have their Kekkai Genkai anymore, it was stolen from me against my will!! I hate this!!

She continued.

I ran away when things got too tough, called a coward, treated like I wasn’t shit. Sure, I didn’t dive into the storm against Phetra in Irkalla, but I faced the later God of Existence, and what did I amount to? NOTHING. Just killed in an instance he had enough of toying with us. I tried to protect people, and in the end- many died for our actions.

Only to be what, slaves to the Gods AGAIN?! NO **** THAT, I REFUSE, I REBUKE IT.

She yelled, the emotions ran hotter than any flame she conjured.

**** IT ALL.

She said lastly, her vocals fading.

I’m tired, Faye. I had enough, so yes…I’m abandoning this world for our own…and god so help me, I’m going to miss you the most of all…

She said falling into an attempted embrace.

I’m sorry, for everything. I love you Faye, forever and always. We might not be lovers anymore, but your the best fucking friend anyone can ask for. The girlies will meet you in a couple of years, can I trust you to take care of them for me?

Faye caught her. Not dramatically, just opened her arms at the right moment and let Mira crash into them, the way you do with someone you've known long enough to read their body before they move. She held her there, steady, one hand resting at the back of her head. No words for a moment. Just letting the storm run its course. When Mira's voice finally faded into quiet exhaustion Faye shifted, adjusting her hold so she could look at her properly without fully letting go.

"You didn't amount to nothing. You're standing here, which means you survived everything you just listed. That's not nothing, that's actually kind of annoying how much you've survived."

A small smile.

"And you're not abandoning anything. You're just finally choosing yourself first. There's a difference."

She let a beat of comfortable silence sit between them before Mira said what she said, the I love you, the forever and always, the weight of it all pressing toward something Faye recognized immediately and gently, deliberately, did not step into. Instead she squeezed her once, firm and warm, and pulled back just enough to look her dead in the face.

"I love you too, and the girls, obviously. Don't even finish that sentence, they're already mine the second they show up."

She pointed at her.

"I want to know everything about them before you leave. Names, personalities, which one's going to be the problem child. All of it."

Faye stood, brushing herself off, then reached a hand down for Mira.

"Come on."

Once Mira was up Faye didn't immediately let go of her hand. Just held it for a second the way old friends do, the kind of contact that says everything it needs to without becoming something else. Then she did let go.

"One last spar. Just coz crying in a field is sad."

Mirabelle’s facial expression softened, her eyes smoothing out into one of somberness. As Faye’s words continued to melt away the pain, sorrow and doubt- her mind steadfasted and became at ease. The mention of wanting the information about the girls, Mirabelle laughed a bit as she wasn’t quite sure herself. Both the twins are wild in their own right, Alyx was the more quiet of the two, yet somehow got into more trouble, accidentally setting a small plant on fire with a sneeze. Illah? She was like her father, stern but warm. They barely starting to talk as is, but their 3rd birthday wasn’t too far either.

I’ll let you know the details of that after this haha!

Mirabelle allowed Faye to take her to the new designated battlezone. Mirabelle waltzed across the terrain, as she became one with nature itself. Once she gained ten meters between themselves, Mirabelle stopped in her place - and without wasting time, the air around her shifted. A spar? No, she fully intended on taking this serious.

A spar will do me no good. I’ll be too weak in heart, mind and soul- I wouldn’t be able to take this as serious love. If this will be my last bout in this world, then I fully intend on going all out from the jump, no hold bars but I wont kill you of course. Faye, I fully expect you to dish EVERYTHING at me. No bullshit. I’ll give you a chance to lock in, I have some manners.
She said, as her stern look crept a smile. Would it be the leg weights? Maybe a poison attempt of some kind? Or would it be one of these Genki that roamed these mountains. Mirabelle knew her opponent like the back of her book, shit even one of her elements she passed onto Faye as well. Without wasting any time herself, Mirabelle would begin things, as she kneaded a particular flow of chakra. At all points of her body, fiery red flames sparked to life, as it slowly converges onto her position- coiling and morphing into a brand new mold, it was the armament Lucifer himself.

Satan’s Flame: Origins of Lucifer!

She yelled, as the fire dressed her in a faint demonic aura, small horns arching from her forehead and a tail swishing from side to side. It was the Level Two version, a far more powerful variant, which in a moment’s notice- she stomped her foot into the surface of the terrain, and with doing so quickly dashed, moving in a zigzag motion, though from her hand - she generated single ‘card’ of flames.

Don’t blink.

She said, tossing the card, though in truth it was converted into the Basic Variant of Blue Fire, which on impact, caused a violent explosion of flames to occur. It was aimed at Faye’s torso, leaving her in quite the state if not handled. Mirabelle kept her distance at seven (7) meters, now on Faye’s right side (Mirabelle’s left).

High roll or low roll, Faye. Depending on the answer, it will determine your fate.

(Akuma Homura: Rushifaa no Kigen ) Satan’s Flame: Origins of Lucifer
Type: State
Rank: B - S
Range: Short
Chakra: 20 - 40 (30)
Damage: N/A
Description: Origins of Lucifer can be described as the pinnacle of one's knowledge for the Nintaijutsu style known as Satan's Flame. Despite its origins reflecting the combative nature of the Hyuga's Gentle Fist, it should be more appropriate to acknowledge its true inspiration- the Lighting Chakra Armor utilized by the Raikages. Similarly, Origins of Lucifer carries with it different 'levels' of activation, each one affording different boons and physically cosmetic changes to the person's body- which usually occurs by the practitioner tapping into their fire release chakra nature, while applying the principles of the style, igniting portions or their whole body with the chakra. As mentioned, each level/stage carries with it perks that is attached to each respective level. They are as follows:

Ifrit's Incarnation (Level 1; B Rank): The more commonly seen and used variant of the Satan's Flame Style. Upon activating, shimmering sparks and embers encroach upon the user's body, coiling the flames gently around them. The fire doesn't take on any specific demonic appearances as seen in the latter levels, but instead aims to simply dress the user's limbs and currently held weapons with the flames. In terms of boons, the user's Bukijutsu/Kenjutsu, Taijutsu and Satan's Flame Techniques are gifted a +10 Damage increase, inflicting physical damage but also burning damage from the fire. This variant of the state can remain active for five turns with a two turn cooldown, simply needing to pay the respective upkeep of -10 chakra per turn in order to do so. This version can be used four times per battle, though counts to the overall usage of the technique (see restrictions).

Spawn of Unholy King (Level 2; A Rank): The second commonly seen and used variant of the Satan's Flame Style. Upon activating, the flames would respectively begin to more morph around the user, attaining a proper shroud of fire, and forming into physical demonic attributes such as horns, a faint demonic tail etc. In terms of boons, the user's Bukijutsu/Kenjutsu, Taijutsu and Satan's Flame Techniques are gifted a +15 Damage increase, inflicting physical damage but also burning damage from the fire. Additionally, the user while running is passively releasing small bursts of flames from their feet, increasing their speed while moving. This translates into a respective x1.5 increase to their base speed. This variant of the state can remain active for three turns with a three turn cooldown, simply needing to pay the respective upkeep of -10 chakra per turn in order to do so. This version can be used thrice times per battle, though counts to the overall usage of the technique (see restrictions).

Grand Marshal of the Demon Flame (Level 3; S Rank): The third commonly seen and used variant of the Satan's Flame Style and its most powerful. Upon activating, the flames would respectively begin to more morph around the user, attaining a proper shroud of chakra, and forming into physical demonc attributes such as horns, a faint demonic tail etc. In terms of boons, the user's Bukijutsu/Kenjutsu, Taijutsu and Satan's Flame Techniques are gifted a +20 Damage increase, inflicting physical damage but also burning damage from the fire. Additionally, the user while running is passively releasing small bursts of flames from their feet, increasing their speed while moving. This translates into a respective x2 increase to their base speed. This variant of the state can remain active for two turns with a three turn cooldown, simply needing to pay the respective upkeep of -10 chakra per turn in order to do so. This version can be used twice times per battle, though counts to the overall usage of the technique (see restrictions). This variant however can only be utilized by individuals who specialize in Satan's Flame as their bios CFS speciality.

Overall, the user is only capable of utilizing this technique four times per battle, irregardless of the rank applied. It's duration is time gated dependent on the rank used, but the user is essentially restricted to the Fire Release, AE/CE that utilizes fire as its primary form, non-elemental ninjutsu i.e genjutsu and taijutsu fields.

A demonic shroud crawled over Mirabelle like something alive and Faye watched it with quiet eyes. Then she exhaled. Natural energy folded into her like it had always been waiting there at the edges of her. Red markings bled in around her eyes, fangs extended where normal canines use to be, heat radiated from her body like she had become the sun. Her sage mode instantly activated.

The card left Mira's fingers. Faye pushed forward, closing the distance between herself and Mira as the burning card moved through the air where her torso had been a half second prior, sailing past her and disappearing somewhere into the meadow behind her. She didn't look back. Whatever Mira had planned for it after the fact could detonate against empty grass.

Type: Supplementary
Rank: S
Range: N/a
Chakra cost: N/A ( -10 turn to sustain )
Damage Points: Active +30 Damage to all Katon and Taijutsu up to S-Rank
Description: An empowered state of body achieved by blending natural energy with one’s physical and spiritual energy. The mode heightens performance on all levels by adding a new dimension of power to the user’s chakra. The state is a direct result of Senjutsu chakra circulating through the body. To enter this form, a minimum of 10% of the user’s maximum chakra reserve must be molded into Senjutsu chakra, all subsequent technique employ Senjutsu chakra until the minimum cost (-10/turn) cannot be paid to sustain the mode. The user is resistant to damage, reducing 30 damage from all techniques and, for the duration of this technique. The user is able to passively sense chakra and his/her perception through not only nature sensing but heat sensing while reflexes and speed are enhanced by x3. Their fire ninjutsu and strength increases, empowering katon and taijutsu techniques by +30. Additionally, the user is able to break out of Genjutsu, using Genjutsu release technique one rank lower than what he would normally be required to. And similarly, the requirement to break out of user’s Genjutsu using Release or Chakra surge is one rank higher than required. Lastly, the user gains access to hellhound anatomy. Keeping the sharp teeth, she gains a red marking around her eyes like most sage modes, getting rid of the fur around her body, but her body still being extremely hot, making those who make physical contact with her, deals -15 Damage.

Note: Usable thrice per battle by Perfect Sages only. Must wait 1 turn before using this technique again. Once per battle, the user is able to instantly activate Sage mode, with 10% of their maximum chakra reserve as Senjutsu Chakra.
Note: Perfect Sages can convert a maximum of 40% of their total chakra reserve

Mira planned to stop at 7 meters, Faye pushed to five meters. She smiled as her right arm rose. Index finger extended. A small sun instantly bloomed at its tip, four inches across, dense and furious, fire compressed into something that had no business being that small and that concentrated. No handseals. She didn't need them.

"Don't blink. Sol Linea."

She gave it back to her with a smirk as she fired. The beam left her finger at a speed that made the card look like it had been thrown underwater, a concentrated lance of fire cutting straight into Mirabelle's chest. And if it found her, it wouldn't just burn, it would combust, spreading fire across the meadow in every direction up to mid range. Faye unaffected by her flames ofcourse.

Spoiler
Rank: S
Type: Offensive
Range: Short - Long
Chakra Cost: 40 + 10 = 50
Damage points: 80 + 30 + 20 + 25 = 155
Description: The user once in sage mode, will do two handseals, while also extending their index finger. By doing this, a small sun made of fire infused with senjutsu will appear roughly four inches in diameter. Once formed, the user will concentrate the fire, and shoot it off in a beam type fashion towards the opponent (Similar to the asura path, traveling at the same speed). The concentrated fire takes the form of physical fire (much like sauskes flames). Due to the fire being amplified and infused with senjutsu chakra, the user is able to pierce through defense of equal or lesser rank. Once the technique has made impact with something physical, it will combust, spreading fire up to mid range around the area.
Note: Can use twice per battle
Note: Cant use any sage art techniques in the same turn as this
Note: No fire above S rank in the following move

Faye held the pose a half second longer than necessary. Caution watched from her shoulder, completely unbothered.

Mirabelle silently watched Faye’s movements, managing to easily avoid the little card trick she pulled off, though it would be enough to deter her from making a swift counter. Mirabelle watched as Faye’s arm rose, aimed and within a mere second- a beam of flames was ignited and sent towards her, prompting Mirabelle to react in kind, as she kneaded chakra into her palms, and performed a ‘swiping’ motion. This allowed for pea sized bundle of script known as the Tusk to quickly form, wrap and compress the beam into the shape of a bow. She held the bow behind her, levitating until needed though it would also move alongside her as well.

Mirabelle would have then closed the distance, cocked her arm back, and with one forward thrusting punch, she unleashed an unpleasant but powerful burning explosive strike, with the flames from her mode slightly empowering the physical strike.

The explosion was directed away from Mirabelle, allowing for safe execution. Of course, once the smoke cleared she would have jumped back, silently watching and waiting for Faye’s follow up motives.

Not bad, those Hellhounds has really taught you well on tempering your flames. However, they will never burn as powerful as mine!

She said, performing a powerful strike afterwards, the impact intended on Faye's chest, striking and blowing her back from the impact. She would have shifted the flame's nature from normal fire, into that of Blue Spiritual Fire, instead striking the very soul and spirit of her friend as well.

( Fuuinjutsu: Furui no Manmosu ) Sealing Technique: The Tusk of the Lost Mammoth
Rank: S
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short-Long
Chakra Cost: 40 ( +20 per turn ) + 10 = 50
Damage Points: N/A
Description: Mammoth is an ancient sealing technique that combines Elemental Ninjutsu with Fuuinjutsu. The user creates a ball of chakra the size of a pea, with the kanji for "Sheer Pressure" inscribed in it's surface. The user is then able of shooting the pea-sized inscription towards any active enemy elemental ninjutsu, which will cause an inscription to encase it wholy and immediately compress it back into a pea-sized black ball of dense elemental chakra. The compressed ball will now show a sealing insignia of with the kanju for "Tusk" which will absorb the user's chakra and allow for the manipulation of the Shape of the walls of the Tusk that compressed the element, which can passively turn into any generic weapon and be safely controlled either remotely or physically by the user, which can then be used to perform Bukijutsu and any fitting Weapon CFS, passively acquiring an elemental edge of the sealed element of +20 damage and rank boost to their technique, as the Tusk assumes the shape of the necessary weapon required to perform it. The user is capable of performing one freestyle action with the weapon itself, be it a slash, or a parry, with the power and rank of the original technique, per turn, counting towards the jutsu slot per turn. This attack will always follow the main release of the elemental nature, and entails generic and simple contact-based attacks like slices, parries, cuts, strikes, etc. Otherwise, the user can also passively expend the elemental chakra inside the Tusk and create simple constructs that detach from the Tusk ball, like blasts, jets, crescents etc, which will expend the chakra that was previously sealed. So if an S ranked technique was used, the user can detach up to 1 S rank construct, 2 A ranks, 4 B ranks, 8 C ranks or 16 D ranks. This can only be used up to Mid-range. Only one contact-based attack or dettach-based attack can be used per turn. Using dettach-based attacks lower the potential rank of any other attack used with with the Tusk.

Note: This technique can only be used 2 times per battle, while only lasting a maximum of 3 turns, whereupon the Tusk will collapse upon itself harmlessly. It requires the user to wait 2 turns before reusing the technique.
Note: Since the user is sealing the enemy technique with Fuuinjutsu, and then manipulating the inscription walls that compressed the enemy element, this is not considered full manipulation of the element, but merely hijacking it. The user is incapable of sealing a liquid water jutsu and turn it into oil-based water jutsu, even if Water Ninjutsu can be used like that. Thus, even when sealing elements that the user does not own, like CE or AE, the user is never manipulating the original element or technique, merely the fuuinjutsu itself.
(Namikazeron ♦ Bakuhatsu Ken) – Theory of Waves and Wind ♦ Explosive Fist
Type: Offensive/Defensive
Rank: A-Rank
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra Cost: 30 + 10 = 40
Damage Points: 60 + 20 via AP; Fuinjutsu + 15 via Origins = 95
Description: A technique that takes advantage of Namikazerian Fūinjutsu’s ability to form common explosive tags freely and almost instinctively. The Explosive Fist consists of a series of versatile, adaptable Gōken-style movements wherein the user extends a number of Jutsushiki-Sen towards a target (formed from the hands) and creates any number of regular explosive tags on these. The tags are always directional, essentially functioning as shaped charges, and can thus be detonated shockingly close to the user without harming them. This technique is often used to supplement a Taijutsu attack, but can also be used to pressure a target to disengage.
- Can only be used three (3) times per battle.
(Akuma Homura: Azazeru no Tsume ) Satan's Flame: Claws of Azazel
Type: Offensive
Rank: B/A - Rank (A)
Range: Short
Chakra: 20/30 (30)
Damage: 40/60 (60 + 30 via Bijuu + 20 via Bijuu + 20 via AP = 130)
Description: The user starts by manipulating their fire chakra towards their desired limb(s) allowing for it to be engulfed in crimson red flames (blue if one is a master of the style). Through applications of the user's chakra, the user will add a sort of "tangible" feeling to the engulfed limb, allowing for them to not only burn the target but also deal blunt damage. The user will proceed to attack the enemy with strikes that usually resemble that of the Hyuga's Clan Gentle Fist, striking fast but hard. This allows this follows up on a simple twelve hit combo (User can choose to perform less actions i.e only two punches if they desire) all together but each strike is unique in the fact the user is not limited in their choice of attack, ranging from a full barrage of kicks or punches, a mix of both or even replicating free form movements from other styles they might know. The power of this technique depends on the amount of chakra used by the practitioner but will always amount to a B/A Ranked Attack. The A-Rank usage of this Jutsu can be used three times per battle, with the B-Rank being four times per battle. Additionally, if the A-Rank usage of this Jutsu is performed, no A-Rank or higher Satan's Flame Jutsu can be used in the same turn.

As Mirabelle closed in and unleashed her Explosive Fist, Faye relied on her speed and tracking to evade the strike. Since the explosion was aimed away from Mirabelle, it left her sides completely unprotected. Faye was already there. She delivered a precise spear hand strike to the pressure point of Mirabelle's extended arm, it was quick and clean, rendering the limb instantly useless. Without missing a beat, she opened her palm and unleashed a focused shockwave of xenon into Mirabelle's open flank. The force was blunt, shattering the disabled arm and cracking several ribs. Mirabelle was sent flying back before she could comprehend what had happened. The speed difference made it impossible for her to react in time. By the time her tracking recognized where Faye was, Faye had already struck at twice the speed Mirabelle could move.

What Mirabelle wouldn't realize until later was that medical chakra from the first strike had entered her body, quietly making its way to her pituitary gland to control her temperature. The warmth would start subtly, easy to overlook and easy to mistake for the heat from her own flames. But it would escalate. The fire from her techniques would help exacerbate the situation, as her own power fueled a body that had lost the ability to cool itself. In the early stages, the hyperthermia might show up as heat exhaustion, with Mirabelle facing heavy sweating, rapid breathing, and a fast, weak pulse.

(OOC: Long technique description, I bolded the important parts)

Description: Pituitary Aberration is a technique that, as its name suggests, disrupts the normal workings of the Pituitary gland. The Pituitary gland is an endocrine gland about the size of a pea and weighing 0.5 grams in humans. It is a protrusion off the bottom of the hypothalamus at the base of the brain. The Pituitary, although insignificant in size, has a very significant part in the bodily processes. The Pituitary is an important gland in the body, so much that it's often referred to as the master gland. It controls several of the other hormone glands (e.g. adrenals, thyroid). It is often considered the most important part of the endocrine system because it produces hormones that control many functions of other endocrine glands. Some of the relevant hormones for this technique, that are secreted from the Pituitary help control blood pressure and metabolism as well as some aspects of water and salt balance of the kidneys, temperature regulation and pain relief. When the Pituitary is thrown out of its normal routine, a lot of the aforementioned body processes can go haywire. Depending on the effects that the user wants to achieve, he can disrupt the Pituitary and how it controls the aforementioned aspects of the body. If the user decides to influence the Pituitary and its control over the opponents blood pressure, he could raise it or lower it, causing the opponent to feel lightheaded in both cases. If the user pushes the opponent to the extreme, by either lowering or raising his blood pressure, after 3 turns of irregular blood pressure, the opponent would faint. If the user decides to influence the Pituitary and its control over the opponents metabolism, he could stop the opponents body from properly metabolizing. This means that he could stop the life-sustaining chemical transformations within the cells of his body, which prevents conversion of food/fuel to energy to run cellular processes. This in turn, makes the opponent fatigued and drowsy, with blurry vision, tingling or numbness in his hands or feet and dry, itchy skin. If the opponents metabolism is disrupted for 3 turns, he will be unable to move because the cells that make up his body, won't have the required energy/fuel to run their cellular processes. If the user decides to mess with the salt and water balance within the opponents kidneys, he can prevent the cells of the opponents body to remove the toxic waste that they produce. Each cell in our body is effectively a bag of chemicals contained in a partially permeable membrane. Water and small particles such as some mineral ions can pass in and out of the membrane freely down concentration gradients. However many chemicals such as glucose, amino acids and proteins cannot pass through the membrane at all because they are too big. By controlling the Pituitary to tell the kidneys that there is too much water in the opponents body, which will, in fact, remove the water, dehydrating the body and forcing the cells in the body to slowly die off due to the lack of water to remove the toxic waste from the cells. Due to the accumulation of the toxic waste and the dead cells for 3 turns, the opponent would develop myopathy which is a form of tissue death also known as necrosis. One of the most important, and certainly most potent abilities of this technique is to control the temperature of the opponents body by affecting his Pituitary. With this application, the user can make the opponent feel, either, hypothermia or hyperthermia. Hypothermia is defined as a body core temperature below 35.0 °C. In mild hypothermia there is shivering and mental confusion. In moderate hypothermia shivering becomes more violent. Muscle mis-coordination becomes apparent. Movements are slow and labored, accompanied by a stumbling pace and mild confusion, although the person may appear alert. Surface blood vessels contract further as the body focuses its remaining resources on keeping the vital organs warm. The subject becomes pale. Lips, ears, fingers, and toes may become blue. In severe hypothermia there is difficulty speaking, sluggish thinking, and amnesia. Inability to use hands and stumbling are also usually present. Cellular metabolic processes shut down. Muscle coordination becomes very poor, and walking almost impossible, and the person exhibits incoherent/irrational behavior. Hyperthermia, on the other hand, is elevated body temperature due to failed thermoregulation that occurs when a body produces or absorbs more heat than it dissipates. Hyperthermia is very dangerous and in extreme cases it results in death. An early stage of hyperthermia can be apparent as heat exhaustion, whose symptoms include heavy sweating, rapid breathing and a fast, weak pulse. If the condition progresses to the stage of a heat stroke, then hot, dry, skin is typical as blood vessels dilate in an attempt to increase heat loss. An inability to cool the body through perspiration may cause the skin to feel dry. Accompanying dehydration can produce nausea, vomiting, headaches, and low blood pressure and the latter can lead to fainting or dizziness. In the stage of severe heat stroke, there may be confused, hostile, or seemingly intoxicated behavior. Heart rate and respiration rate will increase, as blood pressure drops and the heart attempts to maintain adequate circulation. Eventually, organ failure, unconsciousness and death will result. It takes 3 turns to achieve these effects, 1 turn per each stage of severity. If the user decides to mess with the pain relief aspect within the control of the Pituitary, the user can force the opponent to feel pain for very prolonged times at an increased rate. Even small injuries would be felt more intensely and longer than usual, spanning over a course of 3 turns. Due to that fact, the pain can be stacked through a period of time (eg. if the user is rapidly being hit), thus making the opponent feel immeasurable amounts of pain. While under this effect, the opponent would feel the double damage of a hit for the whole period of 3 turns. For example, if the opponent is hit with a C rank taijutsu technique, he would feel as if he was hit with a B rank taijutsu technique. Furthermore, he would feel that damage for 3 turns. Due to the intricate effects of the technique and the immense and precise control they excrete over the Pituitary, the technique can only performed through physical contact. Once the contact is made, the user will release great amounts of medical chakra into the opponents body and will it to nest itself within the opponents Pituitary. From there on, the user has control over the opponents Pituitary for 5 turns and no further contact is required. If the user decides to perform techniques that require chakra, he has to drop focus of this technique, but he can easily assume control afterwards, although at a cost of a move per turn. Once the control of the opponents Pituitary is completely lost, the opponents body turns normal within the next 2 turns.
Note: Can only be used once per battle
Note: Only McRazor can teach this

Description: Explosive Air Palm Thrust is a powerful technique, which can cause heavy damage to opponents with ease. One would often get this technique confused with an Taijutsu technique. The user generate a tremendous amount of Xenon into their fist, then once formed the user will thrust their hands forward creating a powerful explosive shockwave of xenon. This technique is able to disperse or break techniques and even repel them up to 5 meters away. The blunt damage from this attack, can easily break bones if it connects to somebody body, while even knocking the wind out of their body.
Note: Can only use twice per battle
Note: Cant use Xenon S rank and above in the same turn or following turn.
Note: The user can only use this burst of wind to push objects weaker than it is. If the object is of equal strength or greater, it will break said object or fail.

Even with her fists extended, Mirabelle was more than able to keep track of Faye’s movements. It was rather a short distance, and without wasting time- Mirabelle responded in kind, kneading her Spiritual Blue Fire and Yin Release chakra natures directly into her body. This instantly shifted her anatomy, allowing her to turn into the respective elemental natures, and just barely, if anything, avoid the powerful strike Faye intended on landing. The immediate shift in her anatomy would be apart, as she became physically a humanoid made of the cobalt flames, though given Sage Mode’s ability to detect chakra, it would be apparent.

If Faye continued into her strike, she would have struck nothingness, as Mira’s current body granted complete immunity to physical strikes, while with no anatomy for the infused medical chakra to latch onto, she would simply pass right through her, but not without consequence. The high energy flames burned severely, burning Faye’s spirit as a result of the possible impact which could leave her severely hurt, though not physically, but mentally and spiritually.

Mirabelle stood there, a smirk on her face as she utilized the remnants of her state to dash backwards away from Faye as she swiped her hand down, unleashing a torrent of Spiritual Blue Flame fireballs, aimed to completely end the confrontation if not countered.

You’ve really gotten stronger, Faye, but not strong enough to hold a candle to me.

She said in a firm tone, as her body flickers- the demonic state timing out and Mirabelle left in her spiritual state form.

(Aoi Katon/Inton: Yōkai ) Blue Fire Release/Yin Release: Strange Apparition
Type: Offensive
Rank: S
Range: Short - Long
Chakra: 60 ( -20 Per Turn)
Damage: 120 + 30 via Bijuu + 20 via Bijuu + 20 via AP = 190
Description: Yōkai is a technique derived from "Blue Fire Release/Yin Release: Corrupting Hellblaze; borrowing on the concept of merging high amounts of Yin Energy into the Spiritual Blue Flames. What causes this technique to differ from its parent technique is applying the principles presented to the physique of the Jinchuriki instead. By surging the chakra throughout the body, the user immediately turns themselves into an embodiment of the mixture. This comes with some immediate benefits, as the user is no longer physically present and now in a spiritual flaming state, chakraless taijutsu techniques would simply pass through the user's form, gifting them complete immunity though of course. Anyone who passes through the user's form will be inflicted immediately with a high amount of spiritual damage, while also applying the "Burn Heal" to them, though targeted to their spiritual side instead as it burns away at it. This form naturally lasts three turns, in which the user is only capable of using Blue Fire Release, Fire Release and other non elemental based techniques. Other chakra based techniques are capable of interacting with the user, which if impact is made, the user still suffers damage directly upon impact. Once the technique ends, be willingly or not forces a cooldown time of three turns before being able to be used again, though in that same timeframe leaves the user unable to use Yin Release and Spiritual Blue Fire of A Rank and above.

The moment Mirabelle's chakra shifted Faye felt it. The heat sensing and chakra awareness that came with her sage mode picked up the change before it was even visible. Faye pulled her strike back cleanly, hand stopping short of contact. Then Mirabelle smirked and dashed backwards, attempting to put distance between them, in that exact moment Faye moved.

Her palm opened and a vortex tore into existence behind Mira. Mira's own momentum was already carrying her backwards, she was essentially throwing herself into the Selenium infused vortex. The suction grabbed at her spiritual form, pulling her further into its center. At the same time Faye's other hand came up. Dense xenon orbs fired in rapid succession, twin streams of concentrated shots hammering toward Mirabelle from the front while the vortex held her from behind. Nowhere to go. The suction pulling one way, the bombardment pushing the other, the vortex then bursting outward and adding its own force to everything already hitting her.

Although this wouldn't do much in terms of damage to Mira, her form being fire, would be disrupted by the vortex preventing her from doing anything and also due to Selenium's strength over fire the particles would mix with her form becoming part of her even if she were to revert, poisoning her. Mira would soon realize the effects of Selenium poisoning as she begins to experience headaches and irritability, enough to cause her to constantly stumble. Additionally she would also feel extreme nausea, partial blindness, and also suffer from the effects of Myocarditis. The nausea causes her to be unable to spew out techniques from her mouth that are S ranks or above due to the queasiness overwhelming them whenever they attempt to inhale or exhale too deeply. The Myocarditis reduces her heart's ability to pump and also causes rapid or abnormal heart rhythms, this causes a decrease to her physical feats as her speed is reduced by one level (-1 agility) and all techniques that rely on her physical feats get a -20 damage debuf. The partial blindness translates to an inability to see past mid range.

"HA! Candle good one. I get it, coz you're a candle right now!" Faye said over explaining a joke that hadn't even been made.

Type: Supplementary
Rank: S
Chakra: 40
Range: Short-Long
Damage: 80 (+20) = 100
Description: The user creates a Xenon vortex that begins to suck opponents and objects alike inwards towards them. The vortex then bursts outwards sending all the debris and opponents it sucked in flying. The user at any point from the vortex’s creation to its explosion shoots out of their hands, dense Xenon orbs, in the form of twin gatling gun-like shots. Upon impact they burst causing small xenon explosions. The user can choose to do a sweeping motion for a larger AoE or simply aim their shots at the intended target
Note: Can only be used 3 times
Note: Can only be taught by El Alucard

Type: Supplementary
Rank: B
Range: N/A
Chakra: 20
Damage: N/A
Description:A supplementary use of Serenton release. Due to the red sand's unique properties, the dust can be used to augment other elements through several means;

Water
Due to the ability to form Selenium from water sources, the ground and the user's body. The user when creating a water technique can infuse serenton chakra to form selenium dust into said water technique giving it a reddish hue. The infused selenium dust not only makes the water technique denser/heavier. The infusion translates to a +20/+1 rank boost in the water technique's strength. This can be used on other logical water related elements such as rain.

Fire
When creating a fire technique from the ground or from the user's body, the user creates a solid core of selenium to said fire technique. Due to Selenium's high melting point, the solid core wouldn't be melted by the flames. However, the selenium core would continuously release a burst of fine red sand that causes non stop dust explosions which strengthens the flames and by extension the fire technique. The infusion translates to a +20/+1 rank boost in the fire technique's strength. However, being hit by an enhanced fire technique administers no selenium related side effects.

Wind
Similarly to the water usage, the user infuses selenium dust into their wind techniques giving it a reddish hue which not only makes it denser/heavier. The infusion translates to a +20/+1 rank boost in the wind technique's strength. This can be used on other logical wind related elements such as Typhoon etc.

Earth
The user either coats his earth technique in selenium dust or creates the selenium in the core of the earth technique, the former method gives the technique a reddish hue. The infusion translates to a +20/+1 rank boost in the earth technique's strength. This can be used on other logical earth related elements such as lava(Selenium dust's high melting point allows it to coexist with lava techniques) etc.

Lightning (1/5)
The user when using a lightning technique also releases fine selenium particles giving the lightning technique a slight reddish hue. The particles augments the lightning technique due to Selenium's photovoltaic action (Converts light to electricity) and its photoconductive action (Its electrical resistance decreases with increased illumination). The photovoltaic action means light from the lightning technique gets converted to electricity in the particles which in turn boosts the lightning technique. The photoconductive action means the the particle's electrical resistance decreases from the light produced by the lightning technique, this allows the lightning technique to freely be conducted through the selenium dust particles slightly increasing its size. The infusion translates to a +20/+1 rank boost in the lightning technique's strength. This can only be used on lightning techniques produced from the user's body or the ground. It can also be used on other lightning related elements such as Storm release etc. It however can't be used on Black Lightning since that form of lightning produces little to no light.

Note:
- Each infusion can only be used 5 times per battle with 2 turn cooldowns.
- The S/W of the boosted technique isn't changed.
- It's a passive technique that's performed in the same TF as the boosted technique, but occupies a move slot

Description: Serenton is an amorphous element that not only has physical properties but also comes along with a variety of toxic effects(mentioned in submission) no matter the form it takes. The following effects are references to the effects that would take place if one were to absorb the substance; Whether it be orally, through the skin, directly into the bloodstream, inhaling it or even by it coming into contact with the eyes. The effects of the toxicity is determined by the rank of the dust technique in use i.e Higher rank selenium dust techniques are more toxic than lower rank selenium dust techniques regardless of size.

D-C Rank: Absorbing Selenium dust of these ranks through means mentioned causes minor effects such as headaches and irritability, enough to cause the affected to stumble or fumble with their weapons, or mess up the aim of thrown techniques.

B-A Rank: In addition to previous effects, the target would feel extreme nausea along with partial blindness, they'd also suffer from the effects of Myocarditis. The nausea causes them to be unable to spew out techniques from their mouths that are S ranks or above due to the queasiness overwhelming them whenever they attempt to inhale or exhale too deeply. This would include Sound techniques or any other techniques of the nature that requires the user to inhale/exhale via yelling and such. The Myocarditis reduces the target's heart's ability to pump and also causes rapid or abnormal heart rhythms, this causes a decrease to a target's physical feats - Speed is reduced by one level and all techniques that rely on a target's physical feats get a -20 damage debuf. The partial blindness translates to an inability to see past mid range.

S Rank and above: In addition to previous mentioned effects, the targets, if exposed to Selenium dust of this rank would suffer stronger forms of previous effects. Immense Headaches coupled with Irritability and complete blindness would reduce the target's overall tracking to half of its previous value. The immense nausea would render the target unable to spew out techniques that from their mouths that are B ranks or above (This would include Sound techniques or any other techniques of the nature that requires the user to inhale/exhale via yelling and such). The Myocarditis would translate to target's speed being reduced by two levels and the target becomes incapable of using Taijutsu beyond B-rank basics.
Note:
- By spending 20 chakra, the user can passively rid a target's body of excess Selenium so as to remove the effects. This requires the target to be in short range of a user.
- After being effected, the targets can't lessen nor rid the effects unless they somehow cleanse the element from their system, though removing themselves from exposure would have the effects not further worsen.
- The effects stack i.e Getting exposed to 2 C ranks would incur B rank effects. Getting exposed to 2 A ranks would incur S rank effects and so on.
