JUventus is Italy and Bayern is Germany, well we know what happen
i don't think Bayern like this result as we all know Germany is a fodder whenever they played against Italy, all their might suddenly crumble before the Italian.

Bayern won agaist Juventus 4-1 in the 2009 CL. Won agaist Milan too.
Bayern isn't the German international team, If you don't know. The same for Juventus.

idk but the juve in 2009 its different from the current team,and by the way Bayern beat Milan in some pre season tournament,
now Juve have the best Midfield in the world excluding Barca, and their defense is arguably the best in Europe despite bayern conceding less, the only thing superior that Bayern have is their attack.

I'd say Bayern are narrow favorites against Juventus. They've been better this season (at least domestically), but their record (and the record of German teams in general) against Italian teams isn't that great. Not to mention Bayern have a tendency to choke.
As for the other matches, I don't see any of the favorites (Barca, Dortmund and Real) getting knocked out.

I agree with you on this.Juventus boasts the best midfield apart from barca and not to forget Asamoah is arguably the most in form wing back in europe right now.The only thing they lack is a genuine targetman.It would be one hell of a match tho.

Come on! You think only Pirlo creates a good midfield? Bayern have amazing wingers, and Bastian Schawinshteiger completes the center of the midfield together with Martinez, a better player than Luis Gustavo. With Kroos and Muller helping fowards they make a strong midfield and attack at the same time, sure with Gomez or Mandzukic too. The defence changes, I know that. Lahm and Alaba are like the ''legs'' for Bayern's defence. They also help crossing or passing foward. Boateng and Badstuber aren't that bad, but they also can't complete the defence. At least they got Dante now, a better defender than Boateng and Van Buyten. Also, don't forget Neuer. One of the best goalkeepers in the world. He is one of the best German and Bayern players.
It's weird how you think, Juventus are better than Bayern. Juventus can't perform an amazing performance like Bayern did agaist Real Madrid last year, totally deserving the victory.
Bayern are favorites. Juventus would lose both legs if they would play against Real Madrid.

surely Pirlo is one of the most creative Midfielder in the world if not the best,
this man established the Deep lying midfielder position along with Xavi and Scholes,
don't make mention his Ac Milan days when his still the "stamina"
am not saying Juve is better than Bayern, surely Bayern is better when you take the stat and their record in this season. i just say that Juve have better Midfield/Defense than Bayern, not essentially mean that Juve is better, cause if we want to determine something like that we need to count the overall stats,
this is where you wrong, just because one team can perform such an amazing display it doesn't mean they are inferior to those who displayed a better play, there is something called tactical approach, when you don't to play beautifully but still win, Italian don't play the most attractive and beautiful football, but they play the most smart and deadly(effective) football.

First of all, it was QFs replays; not Semis. And Chelsea won 1-0.
And yes, can't deny though that RVP has skied a golden volley opportunity; that is of Torres's misses caliber.
On the match, quick points-analysis, well...
- Mata-Hazard-Oscar-Ramires injected way more creativity into midfield in that match. Mata was MOTM, hands down.
- Cleverley had a bad match, and same for Nani. Carrick, having played the whole Sunderland match, less than 48 hours ago, seem really tired and not his usual dependable stuff.
- Ferguson opted for a 5-man midfield with Chicharito, lone striker, so United didn't create as much offensive chances as their usual ability.
- In the first half, though, there was low intensity. Both teams had pretty fair share of possession, Mata/Hazard/Nani had shots that went close but off-target. De Gea/Cech were well-on-the match, while the CB's of both teams dealt with lone strikers - Ba & Chicha - well.. Chicharito had the best chance of 1st half - a far-shot on the right side of Cech, that curled towards the center while Cech already jumped, but he made a great deflection save with his feet.
- Chelsea scored a wonderful goal at start of second-half - a delightful lob pass as assist by Mata, to Ba - who did an instinctive volley that De Gea had no chance of stopping.
- Afterwards, Chelsea defended and had the authority. United were a bit better after Giggs replaced Nani but not much...
- They had a sublime chance with Chicharito's bullet header, out of which Cech made an incredible save. Cech did exorcised his Mexican woes in this match; with 2 world-class saves.
- Chelsea had lots of chances on counters - but most of them were either wasted, saved by De Gea or off-target.
- RVP should have made Chelsea regret their wastefulness to make it 2-0 but he missed his volley.
- Chelsea were mostly deserved winners imo.
I'll talk on both CL matches later in the evening...
