I disagree that he is the greatest of all time (coming from someone who has watched Barcelona since he was very young) but he's without a doubt the best player in this generation.

It's time to admit Coutinho's far better than Oscar.
Maybe he's better, far better? No. Could also be that he just looks better because coutinhos teammates are shit compared to him :lol
Most people rate them pretty equal, as far as I know.

Cause they never see him play week in week out, they only watch videos on youtube.

Not really, I mean Cou is better at every aspect of the game. Passing, Shooting, Consistency, Dribbling, Link up.
He is just better.
Not really, the only thing he might be better at is dribbling, Ocar scored more goals though with less matches played last season. Pretty equal as I said.

U can agree or disagree but that doesnt change my view in it, for me Leo is the best footballer of all time.

Like Oscar never scored from a position like that :lol, dippers fans

The barca defense is pretty bad, 4 goals conceded against a mid table side? :lol
Sevilla is no mid table team, they finished 5th last season in the league with only 2 point behind the 3rd place and plus they have shown to be a problem against big teams in La liga, I'm not trying to justify that our defence last night was shambolic and not the the overall defence but players in particular like Mathieu and Bartra made terrible mistakes that lead to goals but than again this is a final and it isnt meant to be easy though we were more than relaxed after the 4-1 but that came and has bitten us in the ass.

But forget that we are on the way to make history for the second time, road to sextuple!

He's definitely top 5, and arguably top 3 when it's all said and done, but for me he will never be the GOAT simply because the defenders nowadays are putrid in comparison to the yesteryear. Zidane, Ronaldo, Ronaldinho, Baggio, Van Basten, Maradona. All of those guys faced defenders like Cafu, Scirea, Maldini, Nesta, Costacurta, Thuram etc. Messi's best opponent nowadays would be Boateng or Thiago Silva. Putrid in comparison. He's a genius in his own right but his goal totals are inflated playing in a league that offers no defence what so ever and he's been babied ever since he went through La Masia, being mentored by guys like Ronaldinho and always being surrounded by world class players to aid his stats (not saying he doesn't deserve them; he's clearly the main reason Barcelona win). And I say this as someone who has him in my top 3 as favourite players of all time.

As for the Oscar vs Coutinho topic; Coutinho is more impressive offensively, but Oscar will never get a chance to do something like that for as long as he stays at Chelsea. Mourinho has him tracking back all the time and he has limited time to actually show off his skill. Both are quality players but the discussion isn't founded.

5th is mid-table since it doesn't get a Champions League spot and a top side like Barcelona shouldn't concede that much not even against a top opposition. Any of the top teams in Europe are able to beat Barcelona and they won't win the CL twice in a row that's for sure.

How come ? Oscar scored 7 while Coutinho scored 8 and assisted more playing behind Lambert, Balotelli and Borini.

If we are talking BPL only, Oscar has less games but better stats + we have more players who can assist well so playing behind lambert, balotelli and borini is no arguement since Coutinho is one of the few players in your team who can assist properly.

I see you Totsuka No Tsurugi, I see you boy.. Waiting for the opportunity to bring up Tapnaldo's name in the greatest of all list. Don't worry though, he is in no man's top 25 let alone top 5.

I'm talking all competitions, plus Cou goals are much better than Oscar's.

Even if we talk all competitions their stats are pretty much equal mate and Oscar even played less games. :lol What makes a goal "better"? Oscar and Coutinho both scored fantastic goals in their careers that's no arguement either. :lol

Let's settle it. Your starting 11 is missing an attacking midfielder.. who'd you pick ? Oscar or Coutinho ? Don't be biased, Cooh, DON'T BE BIASED.

In the current Chelsea squad? Oscar I guess, he's better defensively and that's why he fits Mourinho's system. His free kicks are brilliant and we already have two brilliant dribblers with Hazard and Willian so we really don't need another one. Coutinho would be a fine addition to our squad though, at times we need more attacking pressure he would be brilliant. It's really a though one David but I have to go with Oscar for the reasons I mentioned above.
I would pick Coutinho for Liverpool though because he's more of a offensive threat and that's what your side lacks.
