what I'm trying to say is, i don't see why *********** is translated "i haven't seen him since i was a baby", when it clearly says in japanese, (monogokoro).
MP translated as "I never got to meet him at all....He left when I was still a baby."
MS translated as "As far back as I possibly remember....we have never met once."
at the top panel, it says ใใฎใใใใคใใๆใใไผใฃใใใจใใชใ.
the bold, ใใฎใใใ (monogokoro) is a japanese expression or phrase that represents a person's time when their personalities are already slightly developed or are grown enough to have slight memories. in other words, (monogokoro) takes place slightly maybe during the age 5. (after birth for sure).
It depends on the context we are taking into consideration.Isn't that part written in hiragana?.

mono is used to refer the tangible noun in japanese.Gokoro(kokoro) means mind,heart,spirit etc.,.

monogokoro or monokokoro means Sense,care,Materialistic and spirit etc.

ๆใ้ใใฆ ....."Past the stage of Childhood(infancy)".So as you said certainly after the birth sasuke left the village.Whether she was still a baby or grown up at the time of Sasuke leaving depends on the view of translator.The entire context can also be seen as "I have never met him since I am known."......meaning of which Sarada never met sasuke to her knowledge.
