I'm loving the logic. This is more like blind faith, you want him to be faster so you claim he is because of less screen time. Shunshin seems to be based off of chakra control, Sasuke has superior chakra control, so Gai would have to make up for that with physical speed alone. Gai doesn't compare to Hebi Sasuke's speed feats imo, nothing will change that.

Not sure if serious, Reaction speed=/= foot speed...sasuke was fast and deidara couldn't really react to him..does that make deidara unable to match his foot speed?...Part 1 base Lee was faster than Neji but does that mean Neji couldn't react to him when Lee said he was inferior considering both specialize in Taijutsu or rather KC Naruto in part 1 was faster than Neji but couldn't Neji react to him?...does that make Neji as fast as him...so your point is moot...sasuke has probably the best reaction speed or top 3 at least in the series...he isn't faster than V1 Raikage but yet he reacted to him...so reaction speed and foot speed aren't equal

Shunshin is nothing but sending chakra to your feet to amplify your base speed, which is very simple chakra control.
