Kisame is also close/mid range fight and we've only seen him fight taijutsu characters which suit him better. Garra is long range and can vary on the kind of opponents he could fight. Garra would obviously notice that kisame uses water and would want to keep as much distance as possible. Garra is intelligent as well, not saying Kisame is dumb but yea you know lol. Kisame feeds off of head on collisions, and thats not Garra's style. Yea water>sand and but overall (style, intelligence, ability) garra has an advantage and would beat him IMO.

Sasori is getting so OVERRATED lately because of his poison. One hit, and u have like 10 min before u feel it. That's enough to end a fight.
Plus, gaara has sand armor, so one hit, and it doesnt reach his skin, so...

You have a good point, but I think that Sasori could beat him, if you're talking about when Shippuden just started then yes, Sasori could beat him, but noe hw's stronger, Gaar could probably beat him,with difficulty.

Gaara vs Hidan YES
-Even without intel, Gaara wouldn't let Hidan get close to him, his fighting style revolves around that. Besides, as you said, a sand coffin is enough. Plus..Hidan is dumb.
Gaara vs Konan YES
-Konan's Paper Person of God technique took days to prepare so we can't apply that to a normal battle. Gaara can easily block her Shikigami Dance and his sand should be able to beat her Paper. Konan's only chance is to flee, prepare the Paper Person of God technique, and force Gaara to go to the location.
Gaara vs Zetsu YES
Gaara vs Deidara NO
Yes, Gaara did lose because he had to protect the village but Deidara didn't go all out because he had to bring him alive. If he went all out, like Sasuke's battle, Gaara would probably lose. Especially with C4 and C0 available.
Gaara vs Sasori Maybe
If he avoids the poison by blocking or whatever, and is able to use a Sand Tsunami to crush all the 100 Puppets technique, then yes.

Gaara vs Kakuzu Maybe
I mean, he has five hearts, Gaara needs to take them all out at the same time with a huge Sand Prison or a Tsunami. If he goes one by one, his chances are lower because he's depending a lot on his stamina..and Kakuzu is not a pushover.

Gaara can't beat. Nagato, Tobi, Itachi, Dedoria and Kisame. Kisame is a water release with the chakra of a tailed beast. If Gaara gets his gord wet its over, he can't move it correctly. If Kisame uses his water dome jutsu its over. He can match Hidan and Kakuzu. I'd say he can match 15-20%.

ye, sasoris granny who helped sasori to become master puppeteer, and sasori and sakura were only 1 who could make antidote to sasoris unique poisons.. ( if i remember right sasori said she had some luck by completing the working antidote.. and sasori didn't dodge the last attack by he's parent puppets, he died in same way as they used to hug sasori when he was kid. (and it was clearly stated that he could dodge it only if he wanted to)so keep dreaming.
