No, I'm just about to start B-Ranks.

(Katon: Gōka Honoo no Hashira Jutsu) - Fire Release: Great Fire Flame Pillars Technique

This is also an offensive technique which causes quite some damage. It is performed by kneading fire chakra in the legs. This chakra leaks out into the earth to wherever the user wants, but only up to around a ten meter radius. The user then stomps their leg onto the ground, and manipulate the chakra in the ground to rise. This will cause three tall pillars of fire which have been shape manipulated to rise, each of them spaced evenly apart from each other. If an opponent is standing above them, they will get burnt into a crisp.
Since the user can play around with the arrangement of the pillars, it is kind of a versatile technique. It would be most effective in a triangular shape, as this can trap the opponent, then another two techniques can be thrown at them from underneath, behind or above. This technique can also be used to attack the target whilst they are in the air. And it can be used to defend from aerial attacks. So it can be used for both attack and defense when used in the correct way. It also does not require the use of any hand seals and has a pretty good range, being able to incinerate targets in the air from a fair distance away.
The thing with this technique though is that it requires the user to stomp on the ground. This will alert the target that there is some kind of underground attack, which will cause them to defend against it more easily. This is why it is better to use it when the target is busy defending against another Jutsu or is blocked in vision. This Jutsu also blocks visions depending on the positions. And these pillars have to be evenly spaced from each other, which might be restricting in some situations. Also if you get hit by it, you can't turn your body into liquid or you'll get vaporized, just learnt that technique. U_U

Excellent. Since, I'm assuming you haven't learnt the shadow clone, the method system is over. Now, I want you to solely use only Fire in a battle with me. You can use upto 3 moves. I'll use whatever I want. It's to test how proficient you're with Fire.

Nice, so fire is completed then. This is my first element to be completed, thanks for being the one to complete it!
_______________
Standing around ten metres away from his teacher, Tiashe performs four hand seals and partially superheats chakra in his stomach. As it reaches his mouth, Tiashe exhales out and ash is released from his mouth. It travels towards his teacher, getting wider as it leaves him. As it reaches him, Tiashe clicks his teeth, and the cloud of ash around his teacher explodes and causes an explosion.

Taking advantage of the fact that his teachers sight would be hindered, Tiashe again superheats chakra, this time in his right arm. As he releases it, fire bullets come out from his fingertips, several of them until they reach his teacher. When they do, they do not set his teacher on fire, but again cause another explosion.

(Katon: Haisekishō) - Fire Release: Ash Pile Burning
Rank: B
Type: Offense
Range: Short/Mid
Chakra Cost: 20
Damage Points: 40
Description: The user spews superheated ash from their mouth after performing four handseals. The ash is hot enough to cause third-degree burns on the victim. Because it's composed entirely of ash, it stays in the air around the victim like a cloud. If the user clicks his teeth, the stagnant ash will ignite, creating a violent explosion.

(Bakuhatsu Enhogan) – Exploding Flame Shots
Rank: B
Type: Attack
Range: Mid
Chakra Cost: 20
Damage points: 40
Description: The user shoots multiple fire shots from their hands that are able to cause fiery explosions on impact with any object. The shots can't set the opponent on fire, though they can cause damage by exploding on him.

With the cigaratte burning in his mouth, Ace watches you spew a stream of ash towards him; he smirks slightly. The handseals were a dead giveaway for the technique, and being a master of fire himself, knows exactly what to do. He weaves a single seal and exhales a similar cloud of fire, fooling you into thinking that it is the same technique. But it is not. The ash being higher in rank overpowers your ash stream, and just as it does, Ace detonates the ash with a mental command. If not defended, his student would be surely blown into a thousand bits.

(Katon: Haino Kumono Shi) - Fire Release: Ash Cloud Death
Type: Offensive
Rank: A
Range: Short-Long(Short range of the opponent)
Chakra Cost: 30
Damage Points: 60
Description: A variant of Asuma's Ash Pile Burning. Following the same procedure as that technique, the user weaves a single handseal and converts the smoke of his cigarette into superheated ash and spews it out in the form of a circular cloud which surrounds the opponent, being 4 meters in width and 2 meters in height. Even the slightest contact with the ash can burn the opponent severely, inflicting 3rd degree burns. The specialty of the ash is that once it comes in contact with any medium, it forms a violent explosion, upto mid-range at a 360 degree radius. The user can mentally trigger the explosion or just let the ash stay in the atmosphere. The medium would be air, ground and any solid.
Notes:
- Can be used thrice per battle.
- The user needs to know Ash Pile Burning to perform this.
- Needs a two turn cooldown between usages.
- No A rank or above Fire techniques the next turn.
- Can only be taught by Naruto.

As Tiashe's ash nears Ace, Tiashe notices that his teacher spews out something which looks like the ash that he has just released. But he also realizes that Ace has only performed one hand seal whilst the ash technique requires four. As Ace's technique begins to overpower his own, Tiashe releases a large fireball which travels through Ace's attack and renders it useless as it has been stopped before reaching Tiashe.

Then, he stomps the ground, sending his chakra underneath the place where Ace stands. Three pillars of fire erupt underneath Ace with one right underneath him, sizzling him. One is right behind him, and the last one is on his right side. The back and side pillars do not touch him, they are merely there to trap him from escaping to those sides.

(Katon: Gōka no Jutsu) - Fire Release: Hellfire Technique
Rank: A
Type: Offensive
Range: Short - Mid
Chakra cost: 30
Damage points: 60
Description: The user will manipulate their chakra and breath out from their mouth a large fireball that travels at the opponent. As it reaches the opponent it bursts into a maelstrom of fire engulfing them in flames.

(Katon: Gōka Honoo no Hashira Jutsu) - Fire Release: Great Fire Flame Pillars Technique
Rank: A
Type: Offensive
Range: Short – Mid
Chakra cost: 30
Damage points: 60
Description: The user will knead their fire chakra and release it into the ground by stomping down their leg and then causing three pillars of fire several meters tall spaced out evenly. The Pillars of fire can act as a defensive wall against incoming techniques or targets or used to attack low aerial targets.

Watching the large fireball head toward him and the earth below him heating up, Ace expects a Katon attack from below. Simply performing one handseal, he gathers a massive amount of Suiton chakra and spits out a gigantic amount of water from his mouth, aimed exactly below. The recoil force lifts him into the air, as water below him forms into a massive wave. This wave would protect him from the impact of the raging fireball, and whatever fire attack was coming from below as well as the sides.

(Suiton: Dai Bakusui Shōha) - Water Release: Great Exploding Water Colliding Wave
Rank: A
Type: Offensive,Supplementary
Range: Short - Long
Chakra cost: 30
Damage points: 60
Description: This technique is a stronger version of exploding water colliding wave technique. The user will first perform the ram hand seal and then spits out a large amount of water that covers an entire area, with massive waves that can crush the opponent. The user then forms the water into a giant orb, instead of releasing like weaker version of the technique.

Once the wave forms, Ace spews out a thick cloud of mist, which hinders his vision of his student, and vice versa. The wave disappears, as the two fire attacks of his student obviously neutralized the water. He slowly then lands on the ground.

(Kirigakure No Jutsu) - Hidding in Mist Jutsu
Rank: D
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short-Long
Chakra Cost: 10
Damage Points: N/A
Description: This displacement technique creates a thick mist to spring forth by lifting up some water from either a pre-existing source or expelled from their mouth, then goes in and out of sight at will from within the pearly-white realm. The mist's thickness is controlled by the amount of chakra kneaded into it. It can't fool the Byakugan, but, due to the mist being created with the user's chakra, any Sharingan and Rinnegan-user will see the mist coloured by their opponent's chakra, which will effectively hide the user from the dōjutsu.
Note: Can be created through releasing from mouth or manipulating a nearby water source.

While landing, he inserts his chakra into the formed mist, and reflects the natural light present, blinding his student completely, robbing him of his eyesight temporarily. He then throws several explosive kunais in such a way that one of the kunais goes straight at his student's last known position, and the other kunais scatter in a wide arc, so that, even if he tried to escape, he would likely be in the way of the kunais, which would explode soon.

Suiton: Kirigakure Shiryoku Hakudatsu) - Water Release: Hidden Mist Eye Sight Deprevation
Rank: C
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra cost: 15(-3 each turn to keep it active)
Damage Points: N/A
Description: Using the hidden mist jutsu the user reflects the natural light in a way that it blinds there opponent temporarily as long as the opponent is in the mist.
Note: Must have already used hidden mist jutsu

Tiashe notices that Ace summons a large amount of water beneath him, which lifts Ace up into the air. Tiashe also knows that he himself had sent a powerful attack towards Ace, so the water that his teacher had summoned would be A-Rank due to elemental advantage, or it could be that his teacher was using S-Rank to nullify his attack as well as attack Tiashe. But as he watches on, his two fire attacks hit the water and it disappears. Just then, Tiashe notes that his teacher spews out mist, preventing him from seeing anything. He figured it would not be wise to send a fireball or stream through the mist, as that would just make the mist thicker.

So instead, right when Ace poured out the mist and his wave was gone, leaving him falling, Tiashe stomps the ground. Of course, Ace would not see him doing this due to the mist. Tiashe's fire chakra makes a large tunnel underground, leading all the way to Ace's last known location. He breathes fire into the tunnel, and sends it traveling through. As Ace is probably about to land, Tiashe performs one hand seal, and molten rock debris erupts from the ground, burning his teacher if he was still landing in the same spot.

Just in case his attack did not reach his teacher, Tiashe performed another as the mist started to disappear. Forming the tiger hand seal, Tiashe spews out a stream of fire as rings which travel along the ground, reaching his teacher.

Then to lessen the chances of himself getting hit, Tiashe performs four hand seals, and fire erupts around his body. After lingering around his body briefly, Tiashe sends this spiraling mass of fire towards Ace, intending to hit him yet again.

(Katon: Keshi Makuga Hara) - Fire Release: Exploding Flame Crater
Rank: A
Type: Offense
Range: Mid-Long
Chakra Cost: 30
Damage Points: 60
Description: The user first stomps on the ground, using his fire chakra and making an underground tunnel from between themselves and the opponent. They then breathe out fire into the tunnel, causing the fire carry rock and other debris with it as it travels, melting them. With a single hand seal, the molten rock debris will erupt from the ground underneath the opponent, engulfing them and burning them alive.

(Katon: Hibashiri) - Fire Release: Running Fire
Rank: C
Type: Attack
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra Cost: 15
Damage Points: 30
Description: After performing the Tiger hand seal by utilizing their fire chakra, the user will create a stream of fire that can be manipulated into several forms (rings of fire that runs on the ground or a circle of fire flying through the air) before striking the target. It can also be used in combination with Wind Release: Divine Wind to create a tornado of flames, or with Wind Release: Godly Wind from the Mountains to release a massive inferno. The stream of fire can be created by stomping the ground (running across the ground in this case) or by spewing the flames (which will form an airborne ring of flames that will travel towards the enemy).

(Katon: Kaen Senpū) - Fire Release: Flame Whirlwind
Rank: B
Type: Offensive
Range: Short - Mid
Chakra Cost: 20
Damage points: 40
Description: After performing the required four handseals Monkey → Bird → Dog → Ram, fire erupts around the user's body and then launches towards the target in a spiraling-manner or expands engulfing the surrounding area in a tornado of flames. Anything nearby is incinerated as the flames erupt upwards.

Nice move. That's enough for now. You did pretty good overall. Exploding Flame Crater was a good move, however, remember, that when you stomp your leg on the ground, the sound is loud enough to be heard by me, along with the sound of the ground cracking. Even though you were hindered by the mist, and were only limited to Fire, you made good use of it. Personally, I'd use a high ranking fire attack, like Great Fire Destruction or so to put pressure on the opponent.

Now's the time for learning the concept of the rank division.
Alright, so now your job is to read this thread( ), and tell me what you've understood. Then, I'll quiz you and check your knowledge.

I see, I didn't know that the sound of the stomping could be heard. In that case, it would be good to use it when there is a lot of noise.

Ah this thread, I've read it before but I've read it again now. Anyways, it talks about the basic elemental strengths and weaknesses, before going onto how this affects in battles when they clash with each other. When two elements of the same rank clash, but one of them has an elemental advantage, then the one with the advantage will continue on, but in a weaker form. And when two elements clash, but the one with an elemental advantage is one rank lower than the other, then they both cancel each other out.

It also talks about combinations. If two elements of the same rank are combined, they add up to become one rank higher. For example, two A-Ranks will become S-Rank. And if two elements combine, but they differ with one rank, then it will make a Jutsu which is one rank higher than the stronger of the two. So if it was a C-Rank and a D-Rank that combined, then the resulting Jutsu would be B-Rank. Also, two S-Ranks do not become Forbidden Rank. They simply just become very strong S-Ranks.

If a combination is of a higher rank than another combination, it does not mean that it will overpower it. Other things also need to be taken into account, like the elemental strengths and weaknesses, the size and manipulation. For example, if a huge wave of water is summoned and someone uses a rank of one higher of fire bullets, it will not work. This is because fire bullets each contain chakra which adds up to how much it would be if it combined. So each bullet individually is weaker.

When a technique clashes with the same element as itself, but of one rank lower, then it continues on as one rank lower than it. So, an S-Rank which collides with an A-Rank will continue on as an A-Rank. But, if there is a difference of two ranks, then the technique with the lower rank will only take out a quarter of the power of the higher ranking Jutsu. So an A-Rank against a C-Rank will continue on as a weakened A-Rank Jutsu.

Excellent.
But remember, a D and C rank combination is essentially:

C= D+D = 2D
B = C+C = 4D
C+D = 2D+D = 3D

So, it wouldn't be a complete B Rank, but say, a strong B Rank.

Alright, since you've got your base clear, let's test you.

What would be the rank of each projectile, if I released 4 projectiles, and the overall projectile technique is A Rank?
Also, what would be the rank of each projectile, if I released 5 projectiles, instead of 4? Overall rank is again A Rank.

Alright understood.

For the first one, each projectile would be C-Rank. For the second one, each projectile would be weakened C-Ranks, but I am not really sure about that. This second one is kind of confusing for me.

A=B+B Since 2 C-Ranks equal to one B-Rank, A=C+C+C+C

D+D=C so therefore A= D+D+D+D+D+D+D+D because four C's were needed, and then two D's each for them makes eight.

Okay, let's breakdown.

A = B+B
B = C+C
C = D+D

When there are 4 projectiles, the rank division would be C+C+C+C = 4C

Now, there are 5 projectiles, which is confusing, no?

One could argue that you could add a D-Rank to it, which makes it 4C+D. But, for convenience sake, we take it as a C-Rank, which would make it 5C. But, again, there's a question of 4C = A and 5C being a slightly stronger A-Rank. Hence, we would take it as 4/5 C. But, 4/5 = 0.8, which is in decimal. So, we round it off to 5, thereby 5C.

Hence, one could also say that, when an A-Rank is split, it does slightly more damage, however in parts, as it's split into weaker parts. A single projectile of A-rank does more focused damage, than split projectiles. But, you can make all the projectiles converge at one point, which would do almost the same amount of damage. Splitting projectiles weakens them, but increases their range.
