I totally agree. It's about discussing (though a decent debate is hardly possible on NarutoBase), not the result. It can never be stated a 100% who would win a fight. The only person capable of doing so is Kishimoto.

Typical Minato fanboy,when nothing feat wise can be brough on the battle,they resort to hype,which is subjective and void of any possible way to make a comparison...and hype is depending on the characters role in the manga,it's not an actual way to judge the in a vs thread U_U

His regular genjutsus can be cast at long range, and he has many ninjutsu that he has access to with his his sharingan.

His greatest disadvantage would be fighting in close range as minatos taijustu is formidable and he is much faster in both base speed and with FTG. He would eventually resort to using susanoo to gain some distance or to fight back, which will drain his chakra reserves quickly.

His only other way to combat him at close range would be to get into eye contact and use tsukuyomi on him, which is aslo very unlikely as minato will be too busy speed blitzing him at close range.
