Actually uchiha's eyes are the projector of a person's power, not the originator, except special techniques. Ems Sasuke doesn't have any special technique oringated from itachi in power except the actual eyes

The only time the manga has shown the Sharingan degrading is when we learned that Kaguya's original Sharingan had more tomoe then a normal one. When it manifested itself in Indra there was nothing to indicate that it was any different then the Sharingan that came after it.

I could apply the same argument to the uchihas. Not every Uchiha has EMS. Infact even gaining 3 tomoe is a huge accomplishment and MS is only gained by a select few. There're only 2 people in the long history of the Uchiha to gain EMS. Not much of a ritual is it?

if 2 uchiha both wanted each others eyes, they'd have to fight to decide who takes them. obviously that's not a ritual, just damage control from butthurt fans. ppl claim it's as easy as swapping eyes but there's more to it than that, otherwise Maddy and Izuna both would have had EMS. And yet inspite of all the senjus in Konoha, they had to go all the way to land of whirlpool to get Uzumakis to become Kurama's jinchuriki.

I love how people say the Sharingan is naturally passed down.

Izuna willingly gave Madara his Sharingan, and told him to protect the Uchiha with it. It is now rightfully Madara's.

Obito willingly gave Kakashi his Sharingan, and told him to protect Rin with it. It is now rightfully Kakashi's.

Sasuke literally stole Itachi's Sharingan from his corpse, something Itachi did not want to happen. It is not rightfully Sasuke's.

Sasuke is no different from Danzo, taking the eyes of others to further his own powers.
