If i used ur logic i would be saying things like basic jyuken via open palm , can close Tenketsu which uses the finger precision. So no , u need to precisely tag the tenketsu with the fingers , any strike via finger is a tenketsu strike. But a Hyuga can strike Tenketsu , while applying the effects of a normal jyuken strike which sends Chkra to multiple organs while still blocking the single Tenketsu they hit , as Neji does in these instances.

The only thing Neji doesn't need his hands or palm for , is to send Chakra into something or someone "If that person or thing is holding onto him" , like the Cocoon. Why do u think Kakashi made sure to tell u that u need to hit Chakra points "Accurately" and why it was so impressive for Neji to do so? Because it takes finger precision to hit the.

Well we're actually talking about a little bit of both I'm saying.
A hyuga can make a chakra needle with any part of their body doesn't have to be a hand. That's my first point

My second point is if I hyuga uses air Palm they will damage damage the chakra system.
