Itachi chakra reserves are poor so him spliting them in half will be far worst then what your trying to put out. YEs he can use a clone with a rib-cage bushin but it'll get washed away just like how he did Sasuke so that isn't helping your argument.


Itachi having low chakra reserves is a good point to make when talking about clones. Sasuke running out of chakra isn't approal on your argument when it simple justifies that CM2 is more taxing on the body than MS techs but none of this still changes the fact that Edo Itachi loses.

Susanoo it would be extremely weak due to his low chakra and stamina reserves.

Kabuto didn't make anything vanish. Susanoo vanished because it cannot be held while under Genjutsu. That simple. Kabuto has zero control over the targets of Mugen Onsa as Mugen Onsa is a binding Genjutsu Not a Genjutsu that lets you manipulate the opponent's movements.

With D'N'A activated he can constantly move while they output jutsus, he can easily multitask. Once binded, Manda 2 easily swaps away Clones.

So either way a multitasker Kabuto makes this strategy a fail

Itachi does have low chakra reserves. He was gassed after using Amaterasu and Tskuyomi in cannon. CM2 proved to be more taxxing since Sasuke ran out of chakra first. MS Sasuke spammed his techs during his fight with Danzo till his eyes gave away ill be happy to explain why he used more chakra than Itachi used in their Uchiha Hideout fight. Hebi Sasuke and Ms have the same amount of chakra yet he was drained much faster while using CM2 then using MS.

Itachi and Sasuke countered his techs not Itachi alone.

Hell, Manda II can't even be used since this match takes place in a cave since OP said the match is the same. Thus in a cave. So even if he could call it, they'd easily break out and then Manda II gets blocked by Susanoo and sealed by Totsuka.

Itachi using Susanoo clones are a joke. Kage bushin divides the user chakra into how many clones they use. It's cannon that Susanoo bushins are extremely weak compared to the original users Susanoo which would mean that even if his Kage bushins could use Susanoo it would be extremely weak due to his low chakra and stamina reserves.

You clearly referred to him being able to do it at all, but hey, it's whatever.

1. You say he was gassed out after using Amaterasu and Tsukuyomi, even though an Itachi who was medically prolonging his life used large amounts of Amaterasu multiple times, used Tsukuyomi, and then to top it off used a V3-V4 Susanoo for a good 10 minutes before he finally kicked the bucket due to his illness. Not because he ran out of chakra.

2. Sasuke ran out of chakra simply because he did. Has nothing to do with CM2 being more taxing when his performance as MS Sasuke and Hebi Sasuke show which one was more taxing. Sasuke reeling in Pain from using Susanoo and coughing up blood from using it too long tells me that MS is far more taxing. What's worse is that Itachi was spamming MS the whole time. Sasuke used CM2 for less than 10 minutes. He only used it to power his Katon that he used to activate Kirin. Everything else was CM1 or a partial transformation

Itachi's chakra is not low. Never has been, never will be.


-Itachi countered White Rage via Susanoo.
-Itachi countered Muki Tensei via Susanoo, but protected Sasuke and not himself.
-Itachi needed help for Genjutsu, but that's what a clone is for.
-Itachi countered Kimimaro in canon.
-Sasuke w/ Amaterasu countered Kidomaru's webs by burning them and slashing them. Instead of slashing them, Itachi just burns them, and that assumes that Totsuka can't just cut them, but I'm not going to claim that it does just to avoid another side argument.
-Manda II can't be used in a cave, not to mention it's a large target. Totsuka seals it.

The only issue is beating Kabuto down. Either Itachi eventually catches him slipping and gets him with Amaterasu or Totsuka, or Amaterasu followed up by Totsuka, or Itachi outlasts Kabuto and then puts him down.
