hmm, i have seen this around the base a lot. And people seem to use it without thinking about it.
Durability and Endurance are literally the same words. However, the difference is that they aren't applied to the samethings.
Edurance = the ability to deal with pain or suffering that continues for a long time (Living things)
Durability = able to exist for a long time without significant deterioration (non-living things)
When people use "durability" for characters , and someone argues against them with endurance it just causes a whole another confusion. There is no "durability" when it comes to characters. There is only ENDURANCE.
So for the misconception of "Raikage"/"Kisame" and others are the most "durable" characters.. uh no. They have high endurance and tough bodies.
Durability is just something sitting idly there, and having the ability to survive without much deterioration. Like a Durable metal. Because you must realize, that people like Hashirama/Tsunade/Nagato/Kabuto can take way more damage and still be standing than the Raikages and Kisame... So yea.. I mean simply look at Gai... The immense pain he is taking while he is still going at it, is it not more durable?
So yea i just wanted to clarify this, since i have seen arguments around this topic on here. And they were all the result of this misconception.
