Description: The user will perform the Snake handseal and touch a given target (he needs to use his hands in most cases but can release the technique through his whole body if needed) for a small time frame. Upon doing so, he'll use the earth chakra to increase the weight of the target drastically. The technique can increase the targets weight up to 10 times. One interesting side effect of the technique is that when its used on wood based techniques (such as Zetsu's spore clones or normal wood), the infusion of large amounts of earth chakra into it will actually petrify the target in addition to increasing its weight. A similar effect can be achieved in other earthen materials such as mud. The user can also add weight to a given attack (if feasible) to increase both momentum and impact force, effectively adding damage to it.
Note: The weight change lasts 2 turns or until countered.

Perform The Technique: I gather raw, unmanipulated chakra in my body and convert it into rough, hard Doton based chakra. After that, I perform nature manipulation on it to form Earth chakra. I then perform the Snake handseal to manipulate my gathered chakra and place my hand on the target for a small amount of time. As I do that, I channel my chakra towards the target, manipulating it in such a way that the mass in his body increases drastically, almost upto 10 times of his original weight. The extra added weight makes it difficult for the target to move.

Creative Uses/Strengths:

-Requires only one handseal to perform
-Increases the opponent's weight by a huge amount, hence restricting his movements.
-A short ranged lightning tech or a Fire tech can kill or severely burn the opponent, as it's almost impossible for him to move around.
-Along with the added weight, the user can use Earth Flow Wave to bind the opponent, i.e. restricted movements+Earth binding=less chances of opponent moving around.
-The jutsu can be used to make Earth attacks very very powerful and is excellent for close range.

Drawbacks/Counters:
-The user can't petrify Wood techniques and anything except some Earth and mud techniques.
-The jutsu can be used on oneself, however, the user's speed is reduced drastically, almost 10x, so the user has to sacrifice speed for raw power.
-The weight remains for only two turns, so if the user doesn't come up with a good attack, then it's almost useless.
-The user has to touch the target for a short while, so there's a short range limitation.

Description: Contrary to its counterpart (the Earth Release: Added-Weight Rock Technique), instead of making the target heavier, this technique makes it much lighter, though still using the same principle and mechanics. The user will make direct contact with the given target (through his hands), infusing them with earth chakra and lowering their weight drastically. The technique can lower a targets weight up to 10 times less than it originally had. This allows freer manipulation of the affected objects, which would normally carry considerably more weight and as such, require a greater amount of exertion to move. The technique can be used on the user or other shinobi to increase their speed, but as a consequence of using it this way, it results in the decrease of the physical force of their blows. The same principle applies if used on a physical attack wich will be faster but will carry less momentum and as such, less physical damage. It doesn't change the "strength" of binding techniques (like Sand Release), where the user is manipulating a dynamic element but will decrease the impact damage of techniques that rely on it.
Note: The initial effects last for 2 turns or until countered.



Perform The Technique: Once again, I gather raw Doton chakra and nature manipulate it to Earth based chakra. Like the last time, I use my hand to touch the opponent on his shoulder, sending chakra towards his body, manipulating my chakra to lower his weight drastically. The drastic decrease in weight decreases the impact of his physical attacks.

Creative Uses/Strengths:
-Unlike before, it requires no handseals to perform, so the tech is a bit faster to execute.
-The user can use it on himself to increase his speed.
-Heavy objects can be lightened and the impact of techniques like Stone Golem can be reduced to a very high level, as the weight is lightened.
-Attacks can be quickly evaded and techniques can be performed faster.
-Can be used on a fellow villager in the NW to give him a boost of speed.
-Once I lighten myself, I would use a finishing blow like False Darkness or an S-Rank Wind technique to finish off the opponent with massive speed.

Drawbacks/Counters:
-Once the user lightens himself, his Taijutsu attacks have also 10x lesser impact than they originally had.
-Same as earlier, the user can't petrify Water Jutsus.
-Once more, it requires contact with the opponent and is limited to short range.
-The weight remains for only two turns.

For your first comment in the drawbacks for "Added Weight", you can petrify (turn to stone) wood and earth-based techniques... Not sure why you think you can't. You simply can't petrify water (a stupid concept in the first place) or anything that isn't earth-based. And a note about "Lessened Weight", when you increase your speed, the speed of your techniques don't change.

Description: The user will knead their earth chakra into their stomach and then release from their mouth earthly material that then forms into a large slab of rock, that can travel with incredible force. On impact with the ground the slab forces the earth to splinter and jab anyone caught in the vicinity.

One of the more basic jutsus of the A-Ranks. No hand seals and very easy to perform. The user will spew out earth material and set on the ground. The material will turn into a slab of rock and then the user will manipulate it to travel with force towards the opponent. This is a hefty jutsu able to crush and push the opponent back breaking bones and seriously handicapping the opponent. Its main advantage is its raw power. It can also act as a defense blocking attacks and then continue for an attack. It can knock out anything its path and when sent with force acts as a projectile technique. Its straightforward technique and the shape manipulation will take some time. The slab can also be used to clog up jutsus like Antlion.

Description: This technique grants the user the ability to freely lower or raise the terrain within a specific area surrounding them, in a similar manner to its parent technique, albeit on a much larger scale. The user will slam his hands on the ground which he can then lower or raise the ground up to 100 meters in a large section. The rise will be fast enough to pin enemies to the ground, restricting their movements as they struggle to get up and the drop will be fast enough to leave almost all enemies without a footing (albeit not airborne). Because of the large chakra needed to alter such a large area of the terrain, the user will be able to use it only a limited number of times.
Note: Can only be used twice.

This is the stronger version of the previous A-Rank counter part. The user will have complete control of the ground and will be able to raise or lower the ground by 100 meters. With it you can create walls to block attacks or evade them. You can capture enemies by lowering the ground and sending a large scale attack. Also a note is that anyone in the ground that is under control they will obviously lose their balance due to the sudden rise of the ground, so you can easily catch an opponent off and have a clone or ally send an attack making life difficult for the opponent. You can alter the terrain as well with it. It has no serious offensive abilities but its main purpose is the supplement yourself in battle. Also for every time you move the ground it counts as a turn so be weary. Also by the time the ground fully erects it will take several seconds. (8-10s) depending just how high you set it. 100 meters is the limit but you have control just how long you want to raise it.

Actually, I worded it wrong. I realized that later and forgot to edit. I meant, one could petrify Earth and Wood techniques. When I read the jutsu for the first time, I thought that only Earth based techniques could be petrified. I know water can't be petrified lol. I'll word my replies clearer from my now on.

Perform The Technique:
I mold my physical and spiritual energies together to form un-altered and pure chakra. I then alter the nature of my chakra by making it hard and uneven, kneading Doton chakra in my stomach. After that, I elementally recompose my chakra to form Earth, which I spew from my mouth, spatially recomposing it to form a big slab of Earth on the ground. I then manipulate it to travel with force towards the opponent, crushing his bones.

Creative Uses/Strengths:
Simple enough technique. Requires no handseals to perform. The large slab has the destructive force of crushing the opponent's bones as well as the defensive power to withstand attacks and continue forward. So, this is basically a two-in-one kind of attack, pretty useful. Also, it can knock out anything in it's path and also has the capability to clog Antilon technique, so pretty handy. Plus, it can alter the terrain of the Earth's surface, so pretty useful against an opponent reliant on Doton.

Best used when the opponent has been incapacitated or trapped before, as the shape manipulation takes time.

Drawbacks/Counters:
Well, as you said, the straightforwardness of the attack and the shape manipulation takes time, so it's quite easy to defend from the attack. Also, the rock slab can only be directed upto mid-range, so pretty useless in long range battles. The slab can easily be stopped in it's way as well as be broken into thousand pieces by piercing it with S-Rank lightning. The lightning would not only pierce the slab, it would also continue towards the opponent, so personally, I feel, as obvious as it is, lightning is the best counter.

Descripton: The user, after performing the Snake hand seal, emits lightning in the shape of a spear from their hands or mouth which then pierces the enemy. Kakuzu, the original user, shoots the technique from his Lightning mask's mouth. Its destructive power is great enough to even pierce through rock; meaning it has a high killing potential. The user can increase the number of spears to attack multiple enemies by branching the main spear. This, coupled with the sheer speed of the lightning, makes it a difficult technique to evade. This strong attack can be defended against by an equally strong attack of the same element such as Raikiri.

Perform The Technique: I mold chakra in my body by mixing my physical and spiritual energies together. I then imagine a picture of a terrain in my mind, focusing on it, as I alter the nature of my chakra to make it hard and uneven which results in the new nature of my chakra, i.e. Doton chakra. This chakra is then channeled to my hands, wherein I elementally recompose it to form Earth and place my hands on the ground, sending my chakra through it. I then alter the terrain with the help of my chakra, creating a 100 metres deep hole in the ground, trapping the opponent inside and making it difficult for him to escape.

Creative Uses/Strengths:

Simple techs as before and requires no handseals which is a big advantage. Basically, a 100 m deep hole can be created as well as 100 m long Earth walls/pillars and literally anything can be created, which acts as a very powerful defense, withstanding even the toughest of attacks. Also the 100 m deep hole, shakes the balance of the opponent, as well as traps him inside, making it difficult for him to escape the trap. The user can suffocate the opponent by dropping large chunks of Earth, or kill him by the Stone Golem tech. Like many other techs, it would be wise to restrain the movement of the opponent beforehand, so that he doesn't escape the hole, before it takes place. And, the terrain can be manipulated according to the user's will, which serves as an advantage to him, because the opponent can't perform some of the Earth techs according to his will.

Drawbacks/Counters:
It has no offensive abilities, and every time the ground is moved, it is considered as a turn. Also, the time of the ground fully erecting takes a long time(8-10 seconds), so the user can be attacked before his jutsu is even completed. S-Rank Lightning once more would work against the massive Earth wall, as lightning>Earth. Also, once trapped, the user can quickly blow wind on the ground, thereby lifting himself up or similarly use Earth/Wood pillars to push him up. One more disadvantage is that a 100 m Earth wall/pillar, etc..blocks the vision of the opponent to the user, so the user has to be quite careful when deciding the size of the Earth wall/pillar..

(Doton: Dosenkiryu) – Earth Release: Earth and Stone Dragon Technique

Description: The user after performing the required hand seals Horse → Dog → Bird → Ox → Snake will create a large dragon of earth erupt from the ground and direct it towards the enemy with devastating force. This technique much resembles the Water Release: Water Dragon technique.

Another very handy and a personal favorite. After doing the required hand seals the user will summon a large dragon made of complete stone and earth. The summoning of the dragon is very fast and what makes this jutsu so handy is basically the brute force the dragon contains and its sheer size. The dragon is summoned close range but it has a long range reach. You can ride the dragon and what makes it awesome is how you can really catch and save yourself from tough situations with the dragon, if you are in a tight situation you can summon the dragon and rise below you and use the momentum to launch yourself in the sky to evade certain attacks. It can also act as a barrier around you to protect from certain attacks. A normal problem is you must keep control of the dragon whenever you are using it. Ways to stop the dragon is using large scale attacks to make it remain its distance from you or attack the bottom of the dragon using a swamp to restrict its movement.


(Doton: Chokeijugan no Jutsu) - Earth Release: Earth Release: Ultra Light-Weight Rock Technique

Description: A more advanced version of the Earth Release: Light-Weight Rock Technique, in which the user drastically decreases the weight of any object in direct physical contact, but to a much greater extent than that of the original ability. The technique can decrease the weight of the target to virtually zero but the bigger the target, the more time is needed.
Note: The weight change lasts 2 turns or until countered.

The stronger version of the previous A-Rank jutsu. The polar opposite of the previous jutsu. Instead of gaining mass this jutsu acts to lower the mass of the object or person down to virtually no weight at all. This jutsu when used in battle either lowering your own mass or a mass of an object exchanges the impact power for blazing speed. Its a great tool to use for fast attacks and pressuring the opponent. You can also increase your own speed to evade certain attacks with ease. Also a very important note is They cannot petrify water or anything other than earthen materials such as mud and Wood techniques. Its another risky jutsu, you might have speed but due to the fact you have no mass whatsoever you have no impact on your punches or impact attacks.

Next, I alter the nature of my chakra, making it hard and uneven, thereby forming a new chakra nature- Doton. After that, I weave the Horse → Dog → Bird → Ox → Snake handseals and manipulate my chakra. I then elementally recompose my Doton chakra into Earth and spatially recompose it to summon a massive dragon, made up of stone and Earth, which I direct towards my target, as it travels with massive speed and strikes him with such force that his bones are shattered instantly.

Creative Uses/Strengths:
Well, the dragon is durable and very strong, and can bear severe attacks. Also, it's quite fast and acts as an offense to shatter anything in it's path, and as a defense to avoid oncoming attacks or bear them. The dragon can be controlled upto long range, which is pretty impressive. The size is also pretty large, meaning it has more force and more defensive power.
The dragon be summoned sideways, due to which it covers a larger area, than when it is summoned vertically, hence pretty useful in the NW to defend teammates, and escape battlegrounds and such.

I think it would be handy to use once the opponent is trapped in a swamp or a pool of mud/or is under a Genjutsu.

Drawbacks/Counters:
As you mentioned, the user needs to keep focus on his chakra to control the dragon's movements and such, or else it would disappear. Also, a swamp would suffice to stop the movements of the dragon and suck it in. Personally, being a Mokuton user, I would use a Wood Dragon to suck up the chakra from the Stone Dragon or possibly neutralize the attack, since Earth is neutral to Wood, and both being S-Ranks neutralize each other when the Wood Dragon is used offensively.

Description:After performing the two required hand seals, the user creates a gigantic wooden dragon from the ground directly beneath or near them, which can then be directed to attack an intended target. Its shape closely resembles a Chinese dragon, though with a short trunk-like nose (similar to that of a Hindu Makara), having an elongated and serpentine body that is longer than Naruto Uzumaki's Tailed Beast Mode, which can be used to constrict larger opponents. According to Madara Uchiha, Hashirama Senju used this technique to restrain Kurama in the past, which is proof that it has the same Bijuu suppressing/controlling abilities known to some Wood techniques. In fact, the dragon is capable of absorbing Bijuu chakra, weakening any Jinchuriki held by it. The user can keep manipulating and maintaining it as long as he keeps the Snake handseal made and expends chakra, acting as an active technique that can be shaped and controlled for a wide range of purposes, attacks and defenses. This technique can be combine with the Wood Human technique to boost its power.
Note: Only usable by Madara and Hashirama and Yamato bios



Also, I would use Ultra Light Weight tech to reduce the weight of the dragon to a bare minimum, hence using the super less weight to redirect the stone dragon at the opponent.

This would blast the Stone Dragon into pieces, and also this covers a pretty massive range, so this is quite effective.

Perform The Technique: Repeating the same thing again, I mold a large amount of chakra and alter it's nature to Doton by making it tough, hard and uneven after which I manipulate it in such a way that I drastically reduce the weight of my body to virtually zero, due to which I gain a massive speed boost, as I rush forward towards the opponent with my new gained speed.

Creative Uses/Strengths:
Pretty handy technique. Requires no weaving of handseals and acts quite fast. Really very useful in battles, to lower one's own weight to gain a massive speed boost and evade attacks. As seen in the manga, Oonoki lightened Gaara's sand, due to which it was faster, so this jutsu could be used in the NW on a fellow squad member to augment his speed and what not. And, when used on the opponent, it can reduce his punches and can reduce the force and impact of massive attacks like Stone Golem or Earth Dragon/Wood Dragon. Plus, one can lift upto entire islands and massive meteorites(not sure if this is possible in the RP) and mess the enemy up badly, if he were attacked by a huge freaking island lol.

I would use this when an opponent uses large scale devastating attacks like as I mentioned, Stone Dragons and what not.

Drawbacks/Counters:
It cannot petrify Water and other techniques, except Wood and Mud techs. Also, if one's weight is drastically reduced, so is the impact of his physical attacks and other jutsus. It's only useful for a speed boost or to lighten sand/large scale attacks. Can be only used in short range and weight change only lasts for 2 turns.

Well, this is a supplementary technique, so I'm not sure how you would exactly 'counter' it. Although, if the user's weight is reduced by the opponent, then he still has the chance to use Fire/Water/Wind/Lightning jutsus which would obviously be useful to the user and give him a speed boost as well.

Question: Upto what no. of times is the user's speed increased?

First technique: I love how you say "Next, I alter the nature of my chakra, making it hard and uneven, thereby forming a new chakra nature- Doton", even though we're in S-ranks. xD Also, just making sure you know that you cause the dragon to rise from the ground; the term "summon" you used was somewhat generic. ....Yes, I know I wrote "summon" a lot in my description, which is my bad, but it's like "summoning a beast from the deep"-type thing. <.< If that makes sense. Also, as far as I'm aware, you need both S-rank Water and Earth to learn S-rank Mokuton... However, once you're done training that's a perfectly viable move.
Second Technique: You're asking in terms of speed chart, right? Personally, I don't really know. My personal thought would be that you'd gain the speed boost of a taijutsu specialist (+2 levels), but you're better off to ask a mod. Also, it was noted (in the anime at least) that the binding power of techniques (specifically Gaara's sand) isn't lessened by the weight being reduced, so just because the sand (for example) is light, that doesn't mean it can't hold you in place. I will admit to using this technique incorrectly at times because of that, but I was not taught this technique and I have found that teaching helps me learn as well, so... Live and let learn. :shrug:

Note: The weight change lasts 2 turns or until countered.

The more powerful version of the A-rank variant (clearly). The user will perform one hand seal and staying in contact with the object he will insert his doton chakra into the object and manipulate it in a way that the very same object will increase in mass. This will increase the weight of the object up to ten times more then the usual weight. This can easily restrict that very object or persons movement dramatically. Moving will be almost impossible. Also a very important note is They cannot petrify water or anything other than earthen materials such as mud and Wood techniques. In all other cases, only weight is added. So energy based attacks will not added in weight. Also this can easily be used on oneself or object to increase its power and impact. However, unlike the A-rank, you can barely move at all, with even breathing being difficult, so using it on yourself is only good if you already have a lot of momentum or if you're dropping down on something.


(Doton: Koka no Jutsu) - Earth Release: Hardening Technique

Description: The user releases a burst of earth chakra from all over his body. As he does this, a multitude of rock seemingly grows from his skin, forming a large, dense armour or rock much bigger and bulkier than the users original size. The armour can be manipulated and used to create extendable weapons to strike a target with like rudimentary swords or hammers. The downside is that the user cannot mold techniques from other elements a part from earth while sustaining the armor. The armor can be manifested in only specific parts of the body if the user so chooses.

A very useful technique in which the user "grows" rocks from their skin to form a strong armor. While inside the armor, you can manipulate the rocks to form whatever shapes you want, so you can turn your hand into a sword or mace if you so chose. You can also choose to exclude parts of your body if you wanted to, for example leaving your feet unhindered for greater mobility (though you would be top-heavy and unbalanced). This technique, when used to completely cover your body, is also useful for breaking A-rank and below Genjutsu as it's a full-body surge. However, you are slower than normal when using the armor, you're vulnerable to Raiton, you can only use Doton techniques, and it constantly drains your chakra so... There's quite a bit of give-and-take.

Yea, I am used to performing the chakra nature manipulation and all, even for S-ranks, lol. I know that it's not a literal summon. From the ground? Alright, *notes*. And, yea, I know lol. I would only use Wood Dragon if I finished Earth and Water. Asked Scorps about it. Said it isn't fixed.

Description: A more advanced version of the Earth Release: Added Weight Rock Technique, in which the user drastically increases the weight of any object in direct physical contact, but to a much greater extent than that of the original ability. This technique can increase the weight of a target up to 100 times. Under certain circumstances, the technique can be used to increase the force behind attacks.
Note: The weight change lasts 2 turns or until countered.



Perform The Technique: I gather Earth natured chakra, and channel it to my hand, increasing the mass of my hand by around almost 100 times it's original mass, thereby Earth forms around my arm, which has a massive destructive force. I, then, with a great difficulty use my hand to smash a giant rock nearby, into several thousand pieces. This, however, makes it difficult to breathe and move.

Creative Uses/Strengths:
Quite obvious. Good thing about this technique is that it doesn't require weaving of handsigns to perform it. Another thing is that, it can increase the impact of your punches and kicks. Also, the weight is increased by 100 times, so when the technique is used on an opponent, it's physically impossible for him to move, thereby giving the user, the chance to finish off the opponent. A nice usage would be to increase one's weight mid-flight, so as to fall on the opponent and destroy his bones.

Imo, the best usage would be:

>trap the opponent in a Genjutsu
>increase his weight and render him immobile
>finish off with Raikiri or False Darkness.

Drawbacks/Counters:
Well, when used on oneself, it does increase the power of your punches, but as you said, the added weight makes it difficult for one to move, as well as even breathe. Also, it can't petrify water and other materials, except Wood and Earth. Plus, it's only restricted to close range and requires physical contact on the opponent, for it to work.

I guess a full body surge like Nagashi would serve as a counter. Not sure. :/

Description: The user releases a burst of earth chakra from all over his body. As he does this, a multitude of rock seemingly grows from his skin, forming a large, dense armour or rock much bigger and bulkier than the users original size. The armour can be manipulated and used to create extendable weapons to strike a target with like rudimentary swords or hammers. The downside is that the user cannot mold techniques from other elements a part from earth while sustaining the armor. The armor can be manifested in only specific parts of the body if the user so chooses.


Perform The Technique:
I gather Earth chakra in my body and channel it to all the chakra points in my body, elementally recomposing my chakra to actual Earth and releasing the chakra as a 'burst' from all the points in my body, spatially recomposing the said Earth to form a bulky and solid armor, encasing my body, excluding my legs, for easy movement.

Creative Uses/Strengths:
It requires no weaving of handseals, so is quite fast in it's usage. Also, it protects you from external attacks and acts a shield from Water, Fire and Wind Techniques. The good thing about this technique is it's quick performance and the ability to act as a full body surge, i.e. one can release themselves from upto A-Rank genjutsu. Plus, when inside the armor, you can manipulate the rocks to form swords, maces and such, for offensive attacks. It's quite useful for both offense and defense.

Well, the obvious usage would be to use it when trapped in a high level Genjutsu, thereby preventing from inflicting injury to oneself by harsher methods, i.e. this technique is an easy way out of a Genjutsu, so doesn't require Pain release. Also, I would use this when attacked by a massive Water or a Wind technique, it would serve as a great shield.

Drawbacks/Counters:
Again, the obvious drawbacks being that you're vulnerable to lightning element attacks. Also, it reduces the user's speed and movement. Another one being, one can't use techniques from any other element when the armor is activated, which is a pretty heavy drawback. Last one being, that the user's chakra is constantly drained each turn. And, I forgot one that it's only usable in short range.

I would go with the Lightning element to counter it. Seems pretty easy and viable.

Descripton: The user, after performing the Snake hand seal, emits lightning in the shape of a spear from their hands or mouth which then pierces the enemy. Kakuzu, the original user, shoots the technique from his Lightning mask's mouth. Its destructive power is great enough to even pierce through rock; meaning it has a high killing potential. The user can increase the number of spears to attack multiple enemies by branching the main spear. This, coupled with the sheer speed of the lightning, makes it a difficult technique to evade. This strong attack can be defended against by an equally strong attack of the same element such as Raikiri.



Well, this is a great and very powerful. I would use this because it's shaped like a spear, plus it's S-Rank, so it has more destructive capacity. It would pierce through the armor, continue on and pierce the opponent's heart if targeted correctly.

Second: Just remember that to break Genjutsu, you have to coat your entire body with rocks: "Full-body" surge.

Description: The user creates a even larger and stronger version of Earth Release: Stone Golem Technique. However, unlike the smaller version, the user creates this stone golem from the ground solely. The user will slam his hand on the ground, manipulating it and shaping it into a large warrior of stone which he can control as long as he keeps his hand in contact with it or with the ground and keeps fueling the technique with chakra. The golem can reach heights of 30 meters and is quite massive but seems to also be capable of moving quite fast as well.

A more powerful version of the A-rank variant, instead of being spat out of the user's mouth, this one can only be "grown" from the ground, making it required to have contact with the ground to use. The user will constantly send chakra towards the golem which in turn controls the golem's movement. You can virtually do anything with the Golem, you can send it towards the opponent as a distraction, or even with force as a projectile based attack. This version is also much larger than the original, being able to shield an entire army squadron on it's own. But even with it's great height, it has just as much speed and movement ability as it's A-rank variant. A draw back includes the golem requires a solid base for movement, also you must remain concentrated towards the golem; you must also be in contact with either the ground or the golem itself to continue controlling it. I think its best to have a clone control it before hand. The golem is not the fastest runner, but it's not slow either, and it has serious strength so it can easily crush enemies with a punch and lift huge, heavy things.

Description: With the technique, the user can bring up something from deep within the ground by slamming his hands on the ground and manipulating it to forcefully make whatever is contained in it to be expelled upwards. The result of this technique has the appearance of an erupting volcano and can vary in size depending on the users needs.

So a very simple technique, actually very similar to Earth Release: Destructive Rising Rock Pillars. You slam both hands on the ground, and use your Doton chakra to bring up a very large volcano from the earth to push up everything above it. The volcano pushes all of the earth trapped within it, or if you planted things like bombs inside the ground, the bombs (in the manga, it was used to push Zetsu clones up into the air) up high, making the debris that flies out of it look like a volcano erupting. The debris then falls everywhere around the volcano, making everything short-range of the mass of destruction a hazard zone. Clearly, if you can hide some useful items in the ground where you plan to use this technique, it would be best, but if you can't flying rocks is always a good choice. What I really like about this jutsu (I actually just got it now as I looked through it again to write up this summary <.<) is that not only does it attack once when you push things up, but then it attacks a second time with the falling rock debris, forcing your opponent to go as far from the volcano as possible, which generally either puts them long-range from you, or short-range from you, and as mid-range is the general preferred range of NB, you can see how using this with combinations can be helpful.


(Doton: Yama Eikyō) - Earth Release: Mountain Smash

Both of these formations are capable of dwarfing even the Demonic Statue of the Outer Path in size. This is one the most strongest Earth based techniques, standing as a testament to both this ability's destructive potential and its difficulty. However, because of its size and power, it can only be used a limited amount of times, requires much chakra and can only be used at least mid range from the user.

So, after forming three handseals and slamming your hands on the ground, you can make two very large sections of, well, mountain rise from the ground to crush everything between them. This technique is incredibly powerful and actually overpowers techniques of the same rank due to it's immense chakra cost and damage point value (though it still loses to Forbidden-rank techniques and equal-rank Lightning for being S-rank Earth). Now, while incredibly tall, the mountain is relatively thin (relative to itself). High-speed movement techniques like EIG and Swift should be able to allow the user to run out from between the slabs, but for a normal person I would assume that they would have to destroy the technique as opposed to running from it (if the Demonic Statue of the Outer Path couldn't step out in time, it clearly moves fast enough with a wide enough base to stop normal people from getting out). Overall, this technique is incredibly destructive, but it's main purpose lies in attacking when your opponent doesn't have anywhere to go; using it when your opponent is focused on you and has nothing else to deal with is a bad idea if you're not trying to set them up for a greater combo move.

I build up my Earth natured chakra in large amounts, slamming my hands on the ground. Thus, I send chakra to my hands towards the ground, elementally recomposing my formed chakra into actual Earth, and spatially recomposing the said Earth to shape it into a massive golem of stone, the height of which is 30 metres. Forming the massive golem, I focus on my chakra and control the golem to direct it at the opponent with massive speed, as it hits him and breaks many of his bones, inflicting him massive pain and damage.

Creative Uses/Strengths:
Well, it requires no weaving of handsigns to perform, so it's quite fast to perform. Also, the golem extends upto 30 metres and can face an entire army squadron, so it's very, very durable. The golem can be used defensively against massive Fire, Water and Wind Attacks. It has use as a distraction too, if the user sends the golem at the enemy to distract him, engaging him thus. Offensively, it can be sent as a projectile with massive speed and brute force to **** up the enemy badly, breaking his bones and crushing him. Last, but not the least, it extends upto long range which is pretty damn impressive.

I would form a shadow clone and make him use this, thus engaging the enemy, while I sneak behind him/surprise attack him to murder him. Best used when the opponent's vision is concealed by Lightning Illusion or by a dust storm.

Drawbacks/Counters:
Although it requires no handseals, the user requires to maintain contact with it/the ground to constantly fuel chakra to it. Due to which, the user is vulnerable to attacks. Also, it requires a solid base for movement.

Well, to counter it, a lightning jutsu that spawns a massive range would do the job.
This would destroy the golem and continue toward the opponent with massive speed and power.

Very handy technique. Quite awesome for the NW, wherein you can store explosives and stuff underneath and make it rise and explode, once the opponent steps on the surface. Also, it requires no handseals to perform, so is quite fast in it's performance, as well as the user needn't maintain focus over his chakra for the tech. Plus, not only can you make explosives and stuff emerge, you can also cause damage with the massive rocks that would emerge, and everything short range of it, would be destroyed. Impressive thing is that this extends until long range, so the user can hide/make his shadow clone use it from mid-range, while taking the enemy by surprise. Last, but not the least you can force your opponent to go mid-range, short range or long range from you, which is quite helpful, considering the fact that you want to use any jutsu that falls in any one of these ranges.

Well, I would use this in the NW as a surprise element/or in NW battles to push out enemies hiding underneath..etc

Drawbacks/Counters:
Drawbacks being that the user can't use it short range of himself, because it's dangerous to himself too. Other than that, I don't find any drawbacks for this tech, imo.

Well, to counter it, it would be best if the user channels lightning chakra towards the ground, especially something that is fast moving.

As I do that, I slam my hands on the ground, sending a very large amount of chakra towards it, as I elementally recompose my chakra to form Earth and spatially recompose it to shape the formed Earth into two massive hemispherical rock formations which enclose from both the opposite sides of the target to restrict him and crush him.

Creative Uses/Strengths:
Well, this is the strongest Earth technique, strong enough to restrict the Demonic Statue and reduce it's size, as well as trap the Juubi inside it, which itself shows its strength. A pretty great technique to trap and crush massive summons, to kill targets who were previously trapped in a Genjutsu or by Earth Flow wave, and also the user can destroy the Earth Dragon, as well as the Stone Golem, plus it's formed with such high speed that only EIG users or Swift Release users can escape it. Extends upto long range, which is pretty impressive by itself.

I would use this to finish off an opponent previously trapped. Best would be to use Sticky Water to trap his legs and use this technique to crush him. I think the best combo would be to send an Earth Dragon or a Stone Golem(S Rank) and damage/distract the opponent with it, while the rock slabs crush him.

Drawbacks/Counters:
Drawbacks being that it can be only be used twice per battle, and that it can be formed only in mid-range. Also, this technique is very taxing as it consumes a lot of chakra. No other drawbacks, did I find.

To counter it, one could send Lightning towards both sides of himself, to neutralize the rock slabs and preventing them from caving in.
If the user is trapped, then I guess a massive Chidori jutsu/False Darkness or a Raikiri would suffice to destroy the rock formations.
I find this the best, as it spawns a massive range.

It can be used under an opponent, and if you do it will simply push them up like Great Moving Earth Core and fling them into the air at the end of the volcano's formation.
