Description: Using this jutsu, a person can hide underground until they're ready to attack an opponent by merging with the ground itself. By utilizing earth-chakra, the person can stealthily emerge from the ground without disrupting the ground around him. The disadvantage with this technique is that merging with the ground is rather slow and while perfomring the technique, the user is vulnerable to high ranked Earth techniques. The user isn't hidden from doujutsu or sensory ninjas and cannot travel beyond the 3 meter deep mark. Moving around in the ground is slow and the user cannot sense very well what is happening above.



Perform The Technique: I build up chakra in my body and channel it throughout my body. Focusing on it, I convert it to Doton chakra and channel it towards the ground, as slowly and gradually, I successfully merge with the ground. I then go underground, as I remember my opponent's location from before.​

Creative uses/strengths:

  • Good for silent assassinations.
  • I would first place the opponent under a A-ranked Genjutsu and then Suiton: Syrup Starch Technique to trap him, and using the time gap, I would assassinate him without him realizing it.

    Drawbacks/counters:
  • Pretty slow.
  • User is unable to sense anything from underground.
  • If the opponent realises the user's position, he can easily trap him underground and handicap him.
  • Cannot travel beyond 3 meters.
  • User isn't hidden from Sensory nins or Dojutsu users.

Description: The user will first perform the required hand seals Rabbit β†’ Boar β†’ Rat β†’ Horse β†’ Tiger β†’ Snake and slamming the hands on the ground, the user can, by flowing concentrated chakra into the Dragon Veins flowing underground, tear the earth apart, creating large chasms by raising the earth in two opposite sides in the desired location and then splitting that piece of earth through the center. The length, width, direction, and curve of the chasm are all up to the user. Manipulating the Dragon Veins requires fine chakra control, but if one has such skill, they can use this technique to divide the space between the enemy and their own team in two, destroy enemy camps or defences, and even to attack.
Note: This does not split the earth apart directly to cause opponents to fall in the fissure.



Perform The Technique: I gather my raw chakra and begin to focus upon it. Once I've gathered enough, I nature manipulate it to Doton chakra and perform the Rabbit β†’ Boar β†’ Rat β†’ Horse β†’ Tiger β†’ Snake handseals and slam my hand on the ground. I channel my chakra towards the Dragon Veins flowing underground. I use a considerable amount of chakra, as the terrain in front of me is drastically changed, as the Earth is cut in exactly half.

Creative uses/strengths:

  • Can be used to change the terrain according to our need and can be used to destroy enemy camps, etc.
  • Can be used to push a fast moving opponent back.
  • The user can choose from where the Earth could be torn.

    Drawbacks/counters:
  • Takes time to execute.
  • Requires precise chakra control.
  • Has 6 handseals to it which take time.

Description: After performing snake hand seal the user slams their hand on the ground. The result is that the ground becomes heavily turned up with chunks of rubble popping out of the ground. This technique is used as a means to distract opponents to either create an escape or follow through with a surprise attack although it can also do some damage or be udes to destroy enemy earth techniques of equal rank and below.



Perform The Technique: Focusing on my raw chakra, I think about Earth's properties. Gathering enough, I nature manipulate it to Doton chakra and perform the snake hand seal. Once more, I slam my hand on the ground, channeling enough through it required for the tech.

Creative uses/strengths:

  • Can be used to deceive the opponent
  • Can be used as an escape tactic.
  • Requires no so handseals to perform.
  • Quick and immediate.

    Drawbacks/counters:
  • Doesn't deal much damage.
  • When the ground starts shaking slightly, the opponent can easily predict the jutsu.

Okay the user will send doton chakra through his arm encasing it with pure rock. With it the opponent is able to block techniques as well as deliver hard punches. Great for short range battle and simple to use, its purpose is simple as well. It has two hand seals. Your speed on the arm though is slowed down due to the extra weight. Also when you progress through doton you will be able to learn to specific techniques which can increase your weight and have a more destructive punch.


(Doton: Ton'neru chika no Jutsu) - Earth Release: Tunneling Technique

Note: The initial entry of the technique is short range.

The user will perform 4 hand seals and create a hole on the ground which is a tunnel that can run long range. It can't though travel through high density rocks or material. So using it in mountain type terrains would be impossible. Using it on soil or a field is best. Now you can move through this tunnel but its not like hiding like a mole. You will not sense anything going on from above through a magnetic wave. You can though send the tunnel towards any area on the field. Its good to send clones or small summons through to set up a combo attack.


(Doton: Dachigansho) - Earth Release: Ground Bedrock

Description: After forming the necessary seal Snake, the user creates two walls of earth and traps their target in between them.

The user will summon two normal sized earth walls in each flank of the opponent which come together not to crush but trap them restricting their movement, then you can send a finishing attack. Rather basic, the walls move at a fast pace, and the user needs to do one hand seal. The opponent can still however counter it even if they are caught it restricts only movement nothing more. Very simple but nice to use in combos.

I, then perform the snake β†’ Seal of Confrontation. A sound emerges and my entire right arm gets coated with thick Earth. I use it to punch the dummy as hard as I can, as it's sent flying a very long distance.
Creative uses/strengths:


  • [*=left]Can be used to push back the enemy.
    [*=left]When combined with Doton: Super Added Weight Technique, the impact of the attack is increased by a very significant amount, hence brutally injuring the enemy.
    [*=left]Is a pretty excellent defence.
    [*=left]Overall, a great offensive/defensive attack for a C-Rank jutsu.
Drawbacks/counters:
  • Due to the tremendous weight, it's difficult to control.
  • Also, the speed of the punches and general arm movement is slowed down considerably.

Creative uses/strengths:

    [*=left]As earlier, nice combos would be to trap the opponent using Suiton: Syrup Starch Technique and then go underground to the opponent's location, emerge above him and finish him off.
Drawbacks/counters: Honestly this jutsu has many drawbacks:​

    [*=left]He cannot travel through anything with high density.
    [*=left]If the opponent notices the user going underground, he can handicap him/kill him.
    [*=left]It is short range, i.e. it's difficult to perform the jutsu quickly in short range, as it also requires 4 handseals.

Perform The Technique: I calm down my mind, and get one with nature. I attempt to shed away the tensions of life, as I feel the cool breeze hitting my face. As I feel my body is in unison with nature, I slowly begin channeling chakra through my body, and simultaneously thinking about the properties of earth, I nature manipulate my chakra to Doton chakra. Once, the chakra flow in my body is even, I perform the Snake handseal and channel my chakra towards the ground. Taking care to channel the correct amount of chakra, I look in astonishment as two Earth walls emerge from the ground.

Creative uses/strengths:

    [*=left]Can be used as an interrogating tactic, i.e. to bind the opponent and interrogate him.
    [*=left]Only one hand seal required.

Description: The user will manipulate their chakra releasing it into the ground and with a wave of their arm or through the application of a weapon can cause a small wall of dust particles and sand to rise up from the ground and thrusting forwards. This technique creates a simple dust screen that will fade away after 3 turns.

A basic defense jutsu, the user will manipulate the debris on the ground to rise by a wave of the hand to create a dust wall. It is simple enough to protect the user from projectile techniques. If an opponent comes to close you can use it to force him back because if they get to close to the wall it has a type of property able to push someone back some meters. Lastly since its made of dust you can see through it. After summoning the dust screen it will remain for 3 turns before it fades away, it can block the vision from you and you're opponenet. This will be advantage because you can use a snick attack right after you summon the dust. Its a little larger then the opponent.

Basic technique the user will simply use the earth to raise a huge rock and sends it at the opponent. This technique is projectile based and very easy to perform as well as quick. Its combo friendly as well as its able to go a very long range. Its easy to counter though and straightforward jutsu. If you have no earth source you can just spit out a large mud sphere which hardens to rock mid way pushing the opponent back.

Description: The user manipulates their chakra and creates a huge rock from the ground that will rise up, hammering the opponent by slamming it down from above them.

A quick jutsu to use, the user will summon a huge rock from the ground to rise up, which he then begins to control and sends towards the opponent from above. He then sends the rock to crash down upon the opponent. Its a very good jutsu to use for attacks above but you must keep control of the rock. The rock is moves at a normal pace and the performance of the jutsu is quick. Its great to distract the opponent while using this technique, also to counter it best to try and attack the rock before it comes close to you. Huge downside to this jutsu is you can only move the rock up to short range and that is dangerous for a opponent who is strong with taijutsu can easily get to you qith quickness.

Once, I've built up Doton chakra, I channel it through my upper body, as I release it from my mouth, by 'spitting' out globules of mud, which due to my chakra channeling, turn into rocks once they're in mid-air.

Creative uses/strengths:
  • Can be used to push back the opponent.
  • Requires no hand seals to perform.
  • No range restriction, as it can be used in any range.
  • Can injure the opponent, if he fails to counter it.
Drawbacks/counters:
  • Easy to counter.
  • A simple wave of water can negate the speed of the rock.
  • A cutting wind jutsu easily cuts through the rock.
  • Same goes for lightning. A sharp enough lightning jutsu can pierce through the rocks.

  • Even if the opponent survives, he gets severely injured and trapped below the rock.

  • Requires precise chakra control.
  • A fast opponent can cut through the rock, using Raiton/Fuuton enhanced Kenjutsu.
  • Can be only used in short range which leaves the user vulnerable.

Very similar to the technique. The user claps their hands and unleashes two huge rocks from the ground on each side of the opponent that appears anywhere close to the opponent, it acts to try to attack the chin or any other area around them. The impact can cause the opponent to fly back in the air. As said before they are left vulnerable in the air, they rise quite quick and the opponent can sense the density happen in the ground before they officially rise so they can anticipate an attack. Difference is you can only use it up to mid-range the most.

The user will stomp on the ground and make the ground shake and tear through small fractures through the ground which will then force the ground fragments rise all over the area where the tore went through. The fragments will appear also around the opponent rising to hit them into the air with some serious force. They will be dealt damage as well as be vulnerable in the air. Simple and very fast jutsu after you stomp on the ground you can move on to your next attack.

Creative uses/strengths:
  • The opponent gets pushed back in mid-air, which leaves him open to attack.
  • Requires no hand seals to execute.

I, then, concentrate all my chakra on my foot and proceed to stomp the ground as hard as I can, which causes small disturbances, in the form of fractures which tear up the ground until mid-range. The tear causes small fragments to rise from wherever the tore went through, extending until mid-range. The fragments rise around the dummy and hit him on his body, dealing serious damage to him.

Creative uses/strengths:
  • Again, requires no hand seals to perform.
  • Basic and simple to perform, as the user just needs to concentrate all the chakra in his body towards the kick.
  • Deals serious damage to the opponent.
  • Disturbs the terrain, which hinders the concentration of the opponent.
  • Also, it makes the opponent rise up in air, which leaves a window open for excellent combos and attacks.
Drawbacks/counters:
  • A fast opponent, can use a quick Wind jutsu to pull himself away from the risen ground.
  • An opponent with Sharingan can predict the attack.
  • An opponent with quick reflexes can jump away from the terrain as soon as he notices the user stomping his foot on the ground.
  • Works only until mid-range, hence it's of no use in long range.

Description: After performing the required hand seals Boar β†’ Ox β†’ placing hand on the ground, the user causes the ground surrounding the enemy to spiral inwards on itself, burying them alive or crushing them in a mayhem of jagged rocks. This technique is capable of causing quite a bit of damage to a large area. This technique is much more damaging if used in rocky mountainous areas, or inside a cave.

Okay after doing two hand seal and placing their hands on the ground the user will have the ground spiral in on itself, attempting to capture and crush the opponent. It can easily bury the opponent alive and the movement of the jutsu us actually quite fast. Its a great ground attack and great to use against a faster opponent on ground and since it spreads a long range its tough to evade. The user must keep their hands on the ground the duration the ground caves in. Its good to use with a partner or a clone.


( Doton: Dosekidake no Jutsu ) - Earth Release: Earth and Stone Bamboo Shoot Technique

Description: The user of this technique condenses the soil and rock in the area to sprout out in the form of four large spikes which attack the target from four separate directions to make it harder to evade. However, it can be easilty avoided by escaping upwards.

The user will condense the soil and rock around the area in 4 directions around the opponent and summon 4 spears out of the ground which travel towards the center to come together all 4, now of course the opponent is meant to be in the middle and the spears act to try and pierce the opponent from all over the body. They appear in four directions around the opponent making it hard to evade, but you can still evade above or below. The spears act to try and cage the opponent in. After the spears come together you can begin to the next jutsu, if you want to execute it properly.


(Doton: Iwa Bunshin) - Earth Release: Rock Clone Technique

Description: The user creates their clone out of stone that he spits from his mouth. Unlike other types of clones the rock clones don’t disappear after being defeated but rather crumble like rubble. These clones can also be used to create a clone of other people than themselves but do not take on the abilities of the copied person. They can use up to C-Rank Earth techniques and are very resistant to physical damage such as that from Taijutsu which they can endure up to B-Rank.

Okay the opponent will make an exact copy of themselves or another person who they have seen, made of rocks and earth chakra. It will look just like you though it will not have any abilities of yours or that opponent. Its very nice to use for deception and can be made fast. The most this clones/copies can do is move around but not fast. Note the clone is made short range of the user but can move around any range. When the clone is destroyed it will turn to rubble of regular rocks that can be used for jutsus in the future. Also the most it can use is up to C-Rank earth and can endure B-Rank taijutsu damage which can be used to distract the opponent in close range battle while you send attacks to finish the opponent off.

This technique is capable of causing quite a bit of damage to a large area. This technique is much more damaging if used in rocky mountainous areas, or inside a cave.


Perform The Technique: I build up raw chakra in my system and focus on it deeply. Visualising a picture of Earth, I think about it's properties and it's texture, as I slowly manipulate it to Doton chakra. I feel the change in my chakra as I channel it towards my hands. I then perform the Boar→Ox hand seals and I place my hand on the ground. As, my chakra is channeled toward the ground, the surrounding area starts spiralling on itself.

Creative uses/strengths:
  • Easy to capture and crush the opponent.
  • Fast moving jutsu.
  • Difficult to avoid.
  • Good to use along with a clone, as even if the clone is hit, the user remains safe
Drawbacks/counters:
  • The user can avoid it by sensing the change in the Earth's density.
  • The user has to continue keeping his palm on the ground until the jutsu takes place.
  • A person with quick reflexes can use Fuuton jutsu on the terrain to push himself away from the attack.

Perform The Technique: Focusing on my chakra, I slowly manipulate it to Doton chakra. I channel it throughout my body. Once channeled enough, I let it out of my body by focusing it on the ground, by condensing the soil and the rock in the area. I, then perform shape manipulation on it, making my chakra sharp, as 4 large spikes emerge from the ground from 4 different directions. I control those spikes as I let all of them intersect at one place, piercing the dummy at 4 different places.

Creative uses/strengths:
  • Fast technique.
  • Can be used to injure the opponent and if correctly targeted, they can kill the opponent.
  • Fast moving spikes makes them difficult to avoid.
  • Requires no hand seals.
Drawbacks/counters:
  • Can be easily evaded by jumping upwards.
  • If the opponent is fast enough, he can evade it by ducking down.
  • Lightning armor, especially 4th Raikage's armor, can bear this attack.

They can use up to C-Rank Earth techniques and are very resistant to physical damage such as that from Taijutsu which they can endure up to B-Rank.


Perform The Technique:I focus on my raw chakra, as slowly I nature manipulate it to Doton chakra. Then, I visualize an image of myself subconsciously, and keeping the image in my mind constant, I use my Doton chakra to create a Iwa Bunshin.

Creative uses/strengths:
  • Can be performed pretty quickly.
  • Even after the clone is hit, it turns into stones and rocks and rubber, which can be further thrown at the opponent.
  • Pretty great for deceiving the opponent and distracting him.
  • The clone can move upto any range.
Drawbacks/counters:
  • Can endure upto only B-Rank Tai.
  • The clone can use only upto C-Rank Earth techs.
  • Doesn't have the abilities of us or the opponent.
  • Has to be created in short range only.
  • Lacks speed in movement.

This is a strict defensive based technique. The user will manipulate the ground around them to create a dome of their size to intercept attacks, great thing about it is you can protect other people who are in close range of you, so its a nice technique to use for tag team battles to help your ally or anything close to that like summons or clones. Its a basic technique and simple to perform. You can also manipulate it to create small holes to take looks of the outside to be prepared and know whats going on.

You can also aim on the ground to have a opponent trip over. Its also a projectile technique so you can quickly send another tech without hesitation. This time you can send more then one, though note the more you send the weaker each get.

  • A good combo would to be use a mid-ranged C Ranked Wind and Fire jutsu to burn the opponent severely.
  • Increased damage from it's C-Rank counterpart.
  • Extended range from it's C-Rank counterpart.
Drawbacks/counters:
  • Can be easily avoided.
  • Good for only combos.
  • More mudshot projectiles make them increasingly weaker.
  • Just a variation of it's C-Rank counterpart, nothing special.

Great flexibility as well with the jutsu as well.

A rather basic technique. After you perform the earth flow wave under the opponent, the user will do one hand seal and have a large rock of needle out of the river to impale the opponent from under, its hard to notice the spike about to come because of the mud under you, its best to stop this to happen all together right when the river appears first. Overall its a basic technique which can only work up to short.

Note: Takes one turn to set the trap up and wolves only last two turns

The user will place a scroll somewhere around the terrain with your chakra infused, after one turn the scroll will be released and summon wolves made of mud. The more scrolls you set the more wolves that come out, 3 is the maximum. When the wolves are released they will charge at the opponent with great speed, this wolves moves by your will, you tell them what to do, but during the duration you do you can't use another technique because you must remain focused on the wolfs. Lastly a great ability is any attack they take which is taijutsu,kenjutsu, or any low ranked attack the wolfs can reform. This is a great jutsu to set up attacks and combos to a great extent. The more wolfs you make the more chakra it will cost.

A armor made of rocks and stones gathered from your chakra. This armor can take some serious damage for the user so its a great defense based technique. Its resistant to mostly all A-Rank ninjutsu but vulnerable to Lightning. Now with the armor on you can change your appearance to fool an opponent but it only lasts until it breaks or wears off. Lastly the rocks give you a increase of mass so you will have extra force behind kicks and punches but lowers your speed. The armor constantly saps chakra from you for every turn you leave it active.


(Doton: Domu) – Earth Release: Earth Spear Technique

The destructive power of physical attacks is increased, making this a great, all purpose technique. But this technique when activated leaves the user vulnerable to lightning based techniques.
Note: Kakuzu bios can use this technique without the need for handseals

Another great armor. The user will do the snake hand seal and channel doton chakra throughout the entire body turning the skin into steel-like substance. The users skin becomes darker as well. With the armor you can withstand B-Rank attacks but is vulnerable to lightning. With the armor the user gain ferocious strength. Its great to not only block but attack as well, note you will have your speed lowered slightly. Also you can still use jutsus with the armor.

Very quick jutsu to use, the user slams their hands on the ground and rise under the opponent a giant rock section which will hit the opponents feet with force hurting them badly then launch the opponent in the air. From their you can attack a opponent where they are vulnerable in the air. Before the rock rise, you can feel the density of the earth slightly begin to harden. Easy technique right after you send the chakra to the ground to rise the rock you can go onto the next technique.

I feel the energy and the liveliness of my chakra, as I keep an image of Earth in my mind, thinking about it's nature and properties, as I manipulate the nature of my chakra to Doton chakra. Once, done, I perform the Snake hand seal and produce it throughout my body, due to which I feel my skin getting hardened like steel. This has such an effect that my melanin in the skin is affected, which changes the color of my skin to a very dark tone.

Creative uses/strengths:
  • Can withstand B-Rank attacks.
  • Pretty great for offense and defense.
  • Destructive power is pretty huge.
  • The user has no so restrictions on using jutsus while being coated with the armor.
  • It can be manipulated to coat the armor on the arm, hence giving it both offensive and defensive properties at the same time.
Drawbacks/counters:
  • Is vulnerable to lightning techs.
  • As before, the user loses speed for strength.

Perform The Technique: Building up chakra once more, I nature manipulate it to doton chakra while keeping a picture of a terrain in my mind. I then, slam my hands on the ground, channeling precise Doton chakra into it, as mountain shaped rocks rise from it with great speed.

Creative uses/strengths:
  • Quick enough to perform, and requires no handseals.
  • Can be used to lift the opponent into the air, hence making him vulnerable to projectiles and elemental ninjutsu attacks.

Chakra is either converted to earth within the body and then spat out to form the wall or the user can manipulate pre-existing earth to form the wall. The earth then instantly rises up and takes form. The barrier itself is also coated with chakra, making its strength incomparable to that of a normal mud wall. Because of the earth's special characteristics, the wall is highly resistant against, for instance, fire and water. Hizuren Sarutobi spits mud from his mouth to perform the jutsu whilst Kakashi creates a wall composed of bulldog sculptures to box-in Pain.

Description: The user does 2 handseals (Ram β†’ Snake) and creates an opening within the sky, which drips down onto the opponent a large amount of sticky mud (in all similar to that of Swamp of the Underworld Technique), covering them. The mud is very heavy and thick as well as adhesive, making it impossible to move if caught and easily crushing an enemy underneath. It’s normally followed up by Lightning release: sixteen pillar bind to create a giant oven around the opponent and then using Fire release: Firing biscuit technique to ignite the oven, hardening the mud and immobilizing the enemy target.

The user will open up a portal from the sky and allow a very sticky mud drop down onto the opponent. It is very large and has a large quantity. When the opponent is covered it will be virtually impossible to move since the mud is sticky and restricts movement to a large extent. Its great to use with combos and can be used to distract a opponent allowing it to drip if its sunny outside, a shade will go over the opponent. You can use it as a distraction if the opponent notices to attack them. Also as said in the description you can use it in conjunction with the lightning and fire jutsu mentioned above.

Description: After doing the Snake handseal and slamming his hands on the ground, he user creates a portal above the target, high in the sky from which a giant, boar-shaped, earthen lid drops and falls on the target, trapping it underneath. The lid can be hollow or solid, depending on if the user wants to deal damage to the enemy or not. Because of its size, to safely used, the lid has to be created at least mid range from the user otherwise he will also be caught inside. The biggest lid can dwarf a boss summon like Nagato's Dog or Gamabunta.

Another attack from above, very quick to summon and quite large. Can cover a whole 5 meters radius. You can use it as a distraction if the opponent notices to attack them. You can make a combo to attack in all areas and sides of the opponent. It acts to trap the opponent, if trapped you can send a powerful underground or straight to the lid to destroy the lid as well as the opponent. Their are two ways you can summon the lids. One way is you make the lid hollow which won't crush the opponent but actually capture or trap an opponent, the other form is an exact opposite which you can make solid which will crush the opponent from above. Also never use this technique short range of yourself since you will get caught yourself.


(Doton Kage Bunshin) – Earth Release Shadow Clone

Description: This technique creates a clone made of mud. Since its made of mud, it can continue to reform and mold itself back to its original shape even after taking physical damage (up to C-Rank). An unique use is that after reverting to mud, it can hold the opponent in place as a binding technique. They can also use up to C rank earth techniques.

A clone made of mud of the user. This clones can move around and use basic body and sword attacks as well as only C-Rank doton. Since the clone is made of mud it can withstand attacks and reform, it depends on the attack sent of course. If its really powerful it might not reform back. This is great to always have a extra man on the field, you can use diversion, distractions, do combos you normally can't do. Also it can take hits for you, the clone acts on the will of the user.

I then, build lots of Earth chakra in my body and perform the Ram→Snake handseals, as I open up a portal from the sky. The sky tears open and super huge sticky mud globules fall over your clone.

  • Can immobilize the opponent.
  • Once, the opponent is caught in it, it's pretty difficult to evade.
  • Can be used as a distraction.

    Description: The user after performing the required hand seals Ram β†’ Tiger spits out high-viscosity, chakra infused water, aimed at a surface of wide scope. This is a stream of sticky liquid which can be used to form an adhesive trap that can inhibit a person's mobility. One can effectively reduce their enemy's area of activity with this technique, and has the effect of being able to take complete control over the battlefield. The normal scope of this technique is normally just a few metres, but if prepared, it is also possible to make an entire pond of starch syrup. Being caught in the technique can be avoided by channelling chakra to one's feet allowing one to walk upon it uninhibited, beforehand.

  • Can use upto C-Rank Doton attacks, which is pretty helpful in battle.
  • Reforms after being attacked.
  • Can withstand attacks sent at it.
  • Binds the opponent when it reforms.
  • Acts on the will of the user, so the user can make it do whatever he wants.
Drawbacks/counters:
  • Powerful attacks destroy the clone easily.
  • Can use upto only C-Rank doton techs(the advantage is a disadvantage, as a powerful enemy can easily counter C-Rank doton).

The first jutsu is a basic combo, but you are not just limited to only that. I like to create a mud swamp under the opponent and then release this.


(Doton: Musaborudzuchi) – Earth Release: Devouring Earth

Description: The user performs the Ram β†’ Horse β†’ Tiger β†’ Rabbit β†’ Snake and slams their palm on the ground. Instantly, the ground to the sides of the opponent take the shape of huge jaws and attempt to crush and stab him between them. The size of the jaws can be adjusted to fit the size of the opponent or other uses.

One of my favorite techniques in earth. After performing the 5 hand seals and slamming your hands on the ground, the earth will begin to shake due to two very large sections of rock jaws that rise on each flank of the opponent, they rise quickly and will try to crush the opponent. Its a great jutsu to attack both flanks at once, and make it hard on the opponent, the shake of the ground might force the opponent to lose balance but not fall over. Right when you slam your hands you can move onto the next jutsu, so this jutsu has great combo abilities and is very powerful if used good enough.


(Doton: Tsuchi Kairo) - Earth Release: Earth Corridor

Description: The user will first perform the snake hand seal and then cause the earth in the surrounding area to rise up and over a target and create a cavern, imprisoning the target. The user can leave an opening to allow attacks to go in to strike down the trapped adversaries, or close it up completely to prevent escape.

A trapping jutsu, the user will perform one hand seal and summon a cavern to trap the opponent in. If you want you can leave a small opening to allow attacks but that means the opponent can also attack, or you can leave it completely close to trap the opponent and suffocate due to lack of oxygen if they stay in long enough. Though even though they are trapped you can still use a very powerful technique yourself to both trap leaving no open spaces and attack. Its fast to perform and raises quickly off the ground.


(Doton: Arijigoku no Jutsu) - Earth Release: Antlion Technique

Description: The user performs the Ram hand seal and causes causes the ground and everything on and around it to be sucked in towards the middle of a large pit, much like the method an antlion uses to catch prey. Upon being dragged to the centre, the victim will then be sucked underground. There the victim, depending on how deep the user makes them sink, will be trapped and/or suffocated. The range of the pit is determined by how much chakra is put into the technique.

Another favorite, the user will do one hand seal and create a pit close to the opponents area. The pit begins to cave in on itself. Rapidly spinning around with great speed and sucking everything in, in the area. This is a great jutsu to for an opponent to lose balance, it moves so fast he will be unable to move in the area. I also consider this technique a "Last Resort". What I mean by that is if their is ever a time you are blinded or unable to see the opponent, by using this jutsu, since it covers a long and wide range it will most likely catch the opponent in. So use it wisely. Two major notes you must keep focus on the Antlion as well as make sure you make the pit mid/long range of yourself since you will be sucked in as well if you don't.
