Don't even try to make a large fireball yet, you only had enough chakra since your an Uchiha who specializes in it, but you're no where near controlling a large fireball, as you've just witnessed. Try it again, don't focus no shooting out a blast of chakra so much, more so controlling and correctly applying the chakra to making a fireball. Hurry up too, I think the mist is starting to die out.
