Current Sasuke does not exist in the same plan as living Itachi. If Itachi is alive then Sasuke has only a MS, and we all know where that leads.

If Itachi is the last one we saw then it's an Edo Itachi vs EMS Sasuke. Edo immortality still trumps a non sealing EMS Sasuke. So at the end of the day Itachi still wins hands down.

Making an EMS Sasuke vs a non Edo MS Itachi is just plain stupid and I honestly don't get why the most idiotic threads always get on the hottest threads.

All you have to do to answer this question is look at Itachi and Sasuke vs. Kabuto. Sasuke was fairly useful but Itachi did most of the work; while I normally hate Sasuke and am loathe to say he's any sort of strong, I will admit he's catching up to Itachi, but Itachi still wins. Sasuke has the better eyes because of EMS, but Itachi knows more about them and still has the upper hand. Sasuke's too impulsive and reckless.
Let's face it; Itachi never fought seriously on-screen while he was alive. Only once he was dead, and then the first thing he did was break Kabuto's control and take down Nagato. Although, he did have Naruto and Bee backing him up, he would have been toast without their help breaking the Chibaku Tensei. But even after that, he went and released the Edo Tensei. This is from memory, but wasn't it all but stated that Itachi and Sasuke could have both killed Kabuto, it's just the face that they needed him alive that he caused them so much trouble? Itachi would probably beat Sasuke due to more experience with MS techniques. People always say the EMS gives a massive advantage, but the only thing it does is stop the eyes from deteriorating, so Sasuke could use them more freely. Otherwise they pose no additonal advantages or disadvantages.

So first off let's get this straight. I'm no Itachi fanboy but in the manga were Itachi, and Sasuke fought Kabuto, Sasuke didn't do mush of anything during that fight, if Itachi hadn't been there I think Sasuke would've lost. That fight proved that Itachi knows most of the most powerful genjutsu such as Inzanagi, and Inzanami, and not only that his Susanno is more advanced than his because of its sealing sword, other than that though if Itachi hadn't had the sword there Susanno would probably be equall. Anyways Itachi quite a few years older than Sasuke so it's kinda unfair to compair the two. I'm sure by the time Sasuke reached Itachi's age at death he will well beyond what Itachi was at that age. Maybe even able to produce full Susanno.

He has. He is better at controlling amaterasu, his non-mangekyuo sharingan eyes defeated Itachi's tsukouyomi (watch the itachi vs. sasuke match), I am not sure if his susanoo is stronger (Itachi does have the yama mirror and the totsukana blade, but Itachi cannot keep susanoo' up forever and sasuke can spam amaterasu, because of EMS), Itachi's eyesight is terrible so it will be hard for him to dodge if they were to fight (I assume we have non-edo Itachi vs. EMS Sasuke.

If you define strength by the power of your techniques, then its close. Sasuke's most powerful techniques are his uchiha based techniques and kirin and itachi still has the edge with these abilities. If by strength you mean overall therefore a blend of everything then no, sasuke is still lacking. Itachi has been shown to be a master combatant who uses his abilities to the fullest. Sasuke recent spamming ways, though he was the chakra advantage could make him run out before itachi. Sure he has more however when the person you face, knows not only when to use his technique's but also an expert at using these technique's with minimum chakra decrease he can outlast sasuke. May i also say that what is the use of having higher stamina when you can lose before your opponent runs out, both deidora/orochimaru have a higher stamina rating than itachi, but what good did that make when they lost before itachi run out.

Who would win in a fight, well due to both having similar abilities they cancel each other out, sasuke might have the edge though but at the same time he is lacking. In his recent fights, he has put himself in danger at the expense of getting the better of his opponents and has suffered unnecessary injuries in the process a fighting style that is the opposite of itachi's but at the same time if he tries this strategy against itachi he would end up worse off because there are certain opponents whom will always find the slightest of weaknesses and take advantage of them, if the opponent was to give/demonstrate these weaknesses he will surely use them against him. Anyway surely this fight cannot be analysed because ems sasuke cannot exist if its ms itachi, because its itachi's eyes that grants him ems but also we see never say itachi intent to kill which is still a mystery

i see you on other threads saying that using the kabuto fight is useless against sasuke when it wasit his fight now you use it also sasuke could have the abilities of edo madara and would still see itachi as a monster in battle that was a very useless statement and also smarts is no winner this fight or exp when they both have mostly all the same abilities this comes down to stamina witch sasuke has the edge itachi only outlasted sasuke because he wasit forced to use amaterasu & susanoo so quick in a fight with current sasuke he would need susanoo on 24/7 because sasuke amaterasu spamming sasuke>itachi med diff

Its true ive said that the kabuto isnt a good way to anaylse ems sasuke, however this is when kabuto himself is involved. Stamina helps but who said you cannot be beaten before your opponent runs out of chakra, not that im contributing to a vs thread of any kind. Sasuke has however subtle said himself that he hasnt surpassed itachi when he labelled him perfect

If both were given the same opponents fight im certain that if both were to defeat their opponent itachi would come out with less damage than sasuke because he is simple the much much better combatant. Though that is in the past ill give you an example. Itachi defeats orochimaru at the age of 12 with genjutsu even before orochimaru would get him in fushi tensei within a minute. Sasuke at 16 was poisoned, but also orochimaru managed to get him in this technique (fushi tensei) before sasuke reversed it on him. Another example is deidora. Itachi defeats him in a minute. Deidora took sasuke to high difficulty and he sustained great injuries. Both examples were in the past, however im trying to tell you that, sasuke even now is still lacking and isnt close to itachi's combat feats. Or to put it simple, if we were to take itachi out of the nagato scenario and implement ems sasuke, i believe its fair to say that both bee and naruto would've end up captured, with sasuke defeated

I try to distant myself from this topic but also on here altogether and try to ignore people who quote me in case it comes down to a long discussion that im not interested. To end on this note the younger brother believes that the eye transplant of his older brother is making him stronger. Some might say thats because he now has ems, however i believe that though this true, its only half true. What im saying is that itachi's true power, itself is adding to sasuke's. Itachi's eyes is being used as a power up for sasuke;
