sasuke was holding back and itachis totsuka cant pierce sasukes susano which is a fusion of his and itachis.
Do you think that Sasuke has surpassed Itachi?

itachi does not have Shisui's eye anymore so that does not matter at this point.doesnt matter if sasuke hasnt shown his ems powers but he has them and im pretty sure he is going to use them.and all this about saying itachi was holdn back,thats bull.maybe whn he was younger yea but whn they met again and sasuke broke out of his tskyomi.itach had no choice but to fight.he also wanted his eyes so he could have the ems so he could surpass madara.so that holding back is bull.itachi has some places where sasuke doesnt surpass.itachi tskyomi is better cause it doesnt manipulate time and space like itachi's does.itachi may be a lil smarter than sasuke and he does have izanami but if sasuke could break out of tskyomi then im positive that he can break out of izanami.i know its more powerful but u can escape it by realizing your fate and i think sasuke can do it.overall i think sasuke is better now maybe not by alot but he is.i it would be a nice rematch but i think sasuke wins high difficulty.

Yes, Sasuke has already surpressed Itachi
I don't know how people think Itachi is stronger than Sasuke when all of Itachi's Jutsu all useless against Sasuke.
Amaterasu? don't even get me started....Sasuke is far superior in this technique.

Itachi's most useful technique, but uselss against an Uchiha like Sasuke.....Sasuke only 3 tome was able to brake out of Tsukuyomi.
Susanoo
When fighting in Susanoo....the battle comes down to stamina where Itachi is far inferior to Sasuke....Sasuke was able to use Susanoo for more than 11 minutes against his fight with Danzo...Sasuke killed Danzo 11 minutes and Danzo used Izanagi to survive each time....each minute Danzo used Izanagi, Sasuke killed him and on top of that...Sasuke showed the feats to use Amaterasu while being in Susanoo with his fight against Danzo.....this clearly shows that Sasuke is far superior to Itachi it comes to Stamina since Itachi never displayed such feats in stamina like Sasuke.
