I believe in microevolution, or a species' ability to adapt to its environment. However, macroevolution is different. A species evolving into another species if nonsense. I dislike that "evolution" now means "macroevolution." The scientific community hijacked that word and changed its meaning.

I'm a Christian and therefore believe in Creationism.

Define macroevolution for yourself. A lot of people tend to have different definitions of it for some reason.

Your reasons for them not being BS? Or nonsense?

I'll add this, no matter how much reasons you give me it won't phase me. But I'll be open minded to see your point of view.

Because there are common ancestors between us. It's fact that we evolved from the same species chimpanzees did.

I second this.

Case closed. No offense but we both won't benefit any single thing from a debate into beliefs. I've seen your insight and that's all I wanted to see.

Me personally, creation side. Only difference from evolving are veins adapting to different environments.

I second this.

What's your definition of macroevolution too then?

I guess Lol.

He didn't really specified "evolution"

He doesn't need to. There is no concept of evolution that says we came from monkeys. Hearing evolution and going ¨But we didn't come from monkeys!¨ is a pretty ignorant thing to say.

I mean besides that though. That seriously can't be the only reason.

I haven't looked into it myself but If I did, I'd start by looking at primates' feet and see if some species seem a little more humanoid but I doubt it. I mean, it's not a negative thing to not believe in us being evolved out of primates but you'd have to have the right reasons for it. Not simpleton beliefs without some rational research.

the species's ability to adjust itself based on its environment.Basically what Yusuke said.
But you don't agree with the ability of a fish to adapt into a lizard like creature in order to get on land?

Because I don't believe in it. It sounds impractical and I believe that we're god creations.

So you throw facts out the window because of your belief? That's something I don't think is healthy.

No.I don't believe that a species can adapt or change into another different living organism naturally

So what do you say about the mosquitoes in the London underground who have evolved to an entirely new species to survive in the underground?

Classified as Culex pipiens f. molestus, this is a species of mosquito that has specially adapted to the conditions of the tunnels and now happily spends its days attacking passengers and staff alike.

Humans evolving from monkeys is a form of evolution. When he said evolution I assumed he was talking about that subject.

Ignorant: Lacking knowledge or awareness in general. How is my comment ignorant even though I said "Evolution as in things evolve over time I believe in" I was mentiong two different things. I brought up monkeys because that's a huge debate in evolution today. So clearly my comment wasn't ignorant.

Explain how you combine the two. I think I get what you mean but maybe not.

Here's an example

God creates first mammal > Mammal evolves to a capybara

I think Wet Dreamz was right to ask why not. Even if a person believes we evolved from monkeys, that isn't too far off from not believing we are advanced primates, which in its more primitive forms, appear "monkey like". They may have a different reason other than "monkeys are still around". And in such a case, the concepts are still very much alike.

OT: I'm simply skeptical. I have to yield to ignorance and adopt a faith within the scientific community to believe it.
