Darwin had a friend, the Botanist Asa Gray, he was also a devout Christian and in their correspondence Darwin said "It seems to me absurd to doubt that a man may be an ardent theist and an evolutionist."

Yeah. Religious people just don't want to admit we were not made in the image of a God and we share a common ancestor with the chimpanzee. :wesobi:

People are always divided in their opinions, Einstein believed in Spinozan Pantheism while Godel believed in Theism, Darwin was an agnostic in his later life while Alfred Russell Wallace was a Spiritualist, Freud was an atheist while Jung was a Gnostic, so it's up to each individual to determine what his intellectual position is.

You're still not understanding the point. What you proposed is a complete double-negative. You can disprove something that exists (Example; Something historical is constantly said, but new evidence shines and disproves the original claim). But if something has no proof of existing, you can't disprove the fact that it doesn't exist. There's no proof for it existing in the first place! If there was any kind of proof of a God existing, then your statement would apply. But it doesn't work here.

EOD said it the best. I understand both sides of the spectrum. However, I choose to believe in God. The human race will never grasp everything is what I tend to believe. Until the end of time comes those who don't believe in God will never believe in God. But like I stated before there is nothing wrong with believing in God . There are other who are religious and are still intelligent. I won't convince you and I won't try because it will just be circular. It is what it is
