hagoromo made a massive mistake by not picking indra, and that's what made a war between brothers, so this time he simply wanted to fix that mistake.

well we don't really know the full story about indra and ashura, nor indra's/ashuras's personality aside from what the sage said about them, that's his view of them but we haven't seen them atleast talk or something related, i'm hoping for a great flashback of them soon, we need to get more.

And about the indra trying to kill ashura, well you don't have to see it that way, afterall there are other ways to Win a fight, indra probably wanted ashura defeted(not dead) just to prove to hagoromo that his way was better but sadly, they both died and they still continued to fight between clans.

Also if you're a parent on your deathbed and you have something important you need to protect, which of your sons would you entrust it to? Would you entrust it your son that throws a hissy fit if he doesnt get what he wants and will ever go as far as fighting his own brother?

Some serious butthurt here...

OT: I'm being honest here, hagoromo pretty much tried to balance the relationship b/w Ashura and Indra. These two chakra's always fought each other and Indra's reincarnation madara made a mess out of their bonds even further. So in order to stop this he gave sasuke and naruto a powerup that will change the bond b/w Indra and Ashura's chakra and balance it. Hence the Yin-Yang.

Moving to the main point of this thread, i would say what hagoromo did to sasuke wasn't out of pity, he gave him the strongest eye technique in NV. How can it be out of pity? lol. It was a pity that his elder son misused all that power and caused all these problems that we are seeing today. Hagoromo rectified his mistake by directly accepting infornt of Indra's chakra that he was wrong to leave everything to Ashura. He said that he now knows how big of a mistake it was to leave everything to Ashura. Thus, removing that ill hatred which Indra had against Ashura. If you look at this way you would see what hagoromo did to sasuke is actually more important than what he did to naruto. He simply gave them both what they deserve.

Naruto = Yang power, Child of the prophecy so he deserves bijuu's power nothing more nothing less.

Whereas, Sasuke = Yin power, Rinnegan AND removed that ill hatred by making him also a successor along with Naruto.

Obviously the Sasuke community does not lower themselves to such a garbage thread so we simply just laugh at the failed results of the Naruto fappers.
