In a sense, yeah, it was seemingly out of pity/regret. He only gave Sasuke power because of him "not paying too much attention to Indra". It really had nothing to do with Sasuke.

As were Ashura and Indra (Ashura won nishuu because it was life choices and both lost the fight)
As were Madara and Hashirama (Hashirama won, but it was intended from Madara so tie since he could have killed Hashirama)
And now Sasuke and Naruto (Sasuke always won against Naruto...so idk)

because from now on only naruto/ashura and sasuke/indra will decide what to do, how to make "peace" that's the correct word here.

These manga hints are real I'm not drawing or writing them, I'm asking for people's opinion but people are attacking me . To me it seems that the Sage is leaning more on Naruto's side than Sasuke. That's why I want everybody's opinion
