Once again.

Before, yes he had to ask or plea with Kurama to use his chakra (which came with a dangerous price)

After the new seal. if he wants Kurama's chakra to enter KCM. He doesn't need to ask nor require Kurama's cooperation (although this means he's forcing it and his reserves of Kurama's chakra is limited while his full reserves are being eaten by Kurama)

If he wants to enter BM or higher this requires Kurama's full cooperation. Otherwise, Naruto basically opened the seal and Kurama gets a chance to play "Tug-of-War" with Naruto.

I get the first part.

[Underline] That is the part I'm having difficult understanding. Although Naruto is forcing Kurama to give away his chakra, he still needs to "borrow" Kurama's power and in return, Kurama is eaten his.

That scan that Dante linked earlier showed The Kyuubi has a choice of whether or not he "eats" Naruto's chakra. After becoming friends that no longer happens.

Right here you see Gyuki mentions that after all the clones Naruto made in KCM, & all the time he spent in it, Kyuubi decided to stop eating his chakra.

After, & I think it's clear Kurama would never think to put Naruto @ risk.

Yes. It's a forced trade.

It's like if I forced you to hold my bag of twizzlers(Naruto's chakra and reserves) while I grabbed your bag of doritos(Kurama's chakra and reserves) and started trying to eat it.

You can't completely fight back but you managed to keep your bag of doritos (full reserves) but I still got a few chips(Chakra) out of the bag and started eating them.

Meanwhile you began to eat my twizzlers(Full chakra and reserves) but depending on whether you like me or not you can choose not to eat them.

I finish those dorito chips I forced out of that bag and take my bag of twizzlers back (some eaten or untouched)

Maybe you didn't like me and ate them all (Which would kill me)

Great read and shows perfectly Naruto's strength which lies in through cooperation of others something people seem to use as the premier excuse when he Solo's Their Fav!

I really think the borrowed power argument is another useless topic to get fans to attack each other more than we should.

Not exactly while in KCM, Naruto is using the power he took from Kurama which is stored in another location but while using that he has to shelf his chakra and some how Kurama can eat it.
