The incubus had finally arrived at his destination; a deserted arena to bear spectacle for an empty audience. While he had never been personally, he was passingly aware of its true nature. He looked around the decrepit structure, unsure of what to do next. Activating his sensory skill only affirmed that there was nobody here other than himself. Gently sighing, he elected to wait, preparing himself for what was to come next by activating a skill unique to him.

Type: Supplementary
Rank: A
Range: N/A
Chakra: 50
Damage: N/A
Description: Flesh of the Incubus is an ability which results from the combination of one's overflowing vitality, that is, an already powerful life force made greater by mastery over Yang Release, with their ability to utilise Wood Release at its highest form. Because of the latter condition, it is an ability unique to Merlin. It takes the form of a woodskin that perfectly mimics the user's appearance and anatomy, even replicating the feeling of normal skin, which is present on the body at all times, and is bolstered by Yang Release. The benefits granted by this are twofold; not only is the physical integrity of the wood greatly bolstered, allowing it to reduce incoming physical damage by 40 points, but the woodskin itself is granted sentience, allowing it to automatically balance the delicate ratio between Natural Energy and chakra on the user's behalf, meaning that the user no longer needs to remain still in order to generate Sage Chakra properly, nor are their abilities limited whilst generating Sage Chakra. The woodskin itself allows the user to convert more of their own chakra reserves into Sage Chakra per turn, an additional 5%, for a total of 10% per turn. This technique can be kept active to continue generating Sage Chakra at an increased rate beyond the minimum threshold, up to its maximum, though the Mode will not empower the user or their techniques, as per the normal method of meditation and usage. While Sage Mode is in proper use, the woodskin will no longer generate Sage Chakra, though its other properties will remain active. In order to utilise Flesh of the Incubus, the user requires the Yang Release specialty. Flesh of the Incubus can be used a total of three time per battle, lasting 5 turns per usage as well as a three turn cooldown in between usages.

He waited and waited, but the colosseum remained lifeless still, prompting the incubus to cup one of his hands around his mouth, "Helloooo. Anybody here to see to little old me?"

Musashi adjusted her cloak, her frame now slightly heavier with the addition of new gear, acquired during her stint at the Dark Tower. She had been training rigorously since her defeat at the hands of Starrk, the Dark Tower's Champion, and watched as others challenged the previous Champion, Barghest.

Fighting in smaller tournaments had allowed her the opportunity to earn enough Ryo to purchase some technological tools to aid her in her travels, such as concealment devices and swords of energy powered by chakra. Additionally, she had improved her physical routine with the addition of some extremely heavy ankle weights.

Her bamboo hat hiding her visage, but not concealing her colorful garb, Musashi was excited to undertake a new adventure. A flyer had made its way here of a desire for hired hands for an exploration mission to the west. Musashi was in dire need of more funds, and getting paid to sight see? That was the ticket!

"Mmmmm!" she yawned, as she stretched. It was beginning to become dark, but the desert was so much cooler at night, that making the trek during sundown and beyond would be worth it, she thought.

She started out on her journey, eager to hone her skills even further.

Reality morphed into being around Merlin, who was unperturbed by the logic-defying nature of this barren arena. His attention was still focused on the crimson vein-like patterns on his hand, which he found sprawling over his arm upon pulling the sleeves of his cloak back. He touched his own cheek delicately, feeling small branches of warmth. He could feel it in his chest, crawling up his neck. His skin had grown even more pale. Though he was concerned about his own condition, the words of the specters still rung in his mind.

The heart in the eye.

Take the magentaic flesh.

Clearly, they were instructions. But he knew of no place among the mainland continents where he could find such a thing. Perhaps that visit to the Outer Lands was due.

But first, to meet with the Hero of Justice.

Arriving to the Dark Tower, a sense of nostalgia from the last tournament some year or so ago. As she breathed in, she would have bitten her thumb; allowing blood to swipe across her summoning tattoo. As she did, she would have performed two summoning techniques. As she slammed her palm, she would have summoned forth the God-King himself, Cthulhu from his prison and his eldest child, Leviathan into the mix.

"Uln'drn, ahf' purpose ymg' ah tharanak ya geb?"

The God-King asked his vessel. Mirabelle turned, looking at both giants with an eye of intent. "L' hafh ya ph'nglui na'ah'n'ghayar" she spoke back to the God-King. Cthulhu and Leviathan, watched one another and nodded. "Very well...let us begin then..." Leviathan said, as they both utilized their anatomy manipulation to decrease their size down to human size and turning into more humanoid forms, resembling a father and son dynamic.

Once this occurs, the trio entered into the building- with Mirabelle holding out her tablet showing the information pertaining to the Anima Champion. "Excuse me, I'm here to exterminate this particular Champion. Take me to them..." she asked out loud.

(Kuchiyose No Jutsu: Kuto~urufu, Kyū shihai-sha) Summoning Technique: Cthulhu, the Great Old One
Type: Summon
Rank: F
Range: Short
Chakra Cost: 50
Damage Points: N/A (- 10 Per Summon)
Description: The user performs the Summoning Jutsu, either through Hand Seals, or their Summoning Tattoo in order to summon forth Cthulhu, the Great Old One in the battle. However, simply doing this isn’t without a cost, as the cosmic creature takes an extra compensation of his summoner’s life energy (-10 HP) which cannot be negated even with Yang Specialist or any other sort of damage reduction skills. Once summoned, this monstrosity nigh immediately towers over the battlefield, rivaling Manda in size alone, with a humanoid body. His head shaped akin to an octopus with many tentacles protruding from his face with beaming red eyes and draconic like wings enabling him to fly. Personality wise, Cthulhu is a very emotionally detached being, showing little to no care for humanity, outside of his Vessel. He is patient and highly observant - waiting for the day his seal is finally broken so he can unleash havoc on humanity once more. He loves his children but at times can be seen as rather militant with them, referring to them as his soldiers rather than his off spring. His desire to rule over this dimension is vast, wanting to expand his reach outside his original dimension to this one. Cthulhu’s sheer presence is known to cause many to be driven completely mad, something that’s almost true (via Madness Induction). He is capable of moving at speeds equivalent to a Sage Rank Shinobi, with his Madness Induction affecting Sage Level and below Shinobi or S-Rank and below summons, with his Madness Induction being Forbidden Ranked in nature. Outside of his inherent powers, this divine monster has his own unique skills, namely “World Shaper” and “Call of Cthulhu”, which are achieved through Natural Energy.

World Shaper (D – S): The unique skill Cthulhu possess, allowing the monster to shape the very world he walks on, namely controlling the environment to his leisure. This can be seen as an advanced version of Sage Arts: Inorganic Reincarnation but without Sage Mode as a requirement, as he naturally controls it and also on a larger scale, extending his control to liquids and even the very air around him. This allows him to mold them into various shapes and forms, namely constructs with solids, blasts and powerful twisters with winds etc. The creation of these things is limitless and only limited by Cthulhu’s own imagination. The amount of Chakra he fuels into these creations determines how strong they are. These cannot be spawned within 5 meters of the enemy however and are treated as neutral to Elemental Ninjutsu. All Ranked applications that are projectile in nature have a Range of Short - Long, while those that actively manipulate the environment are Short - Mid . A-Rank can only be used thrice per battle with a cool down of one turn between each use, while S-Rank can only be used twice per battle, having a cool down of three turns instead while making him incapable of using this skill up to A rank and above for two turns. Finally, any use of World Shaper must come from Cthulhu himself, and not some extension of his being, such as those created by "Anatomy of Shapeshifters".

Call of Cthulhu (S): The second unique skill to Cthulhu himself, where the monstrosity is calls upon his control of Natural Energy around him. In doing so, the natural energy takes the form of a cloak of sorts, masking himself or his Vessel. This cloak serves as a protective armor or sorts, flickering like a miasma in nature but in true is capable of defending. This cloak corners the entire body, but it doesn't obscure the target's ability to breath, see or any other essential. It has a damage reduction upon interacting with techniques, causing them to lose - 20 DMG on interaction. This technique will continue to persist even after interactions, only disappearing after naturally timing out or ending prematurely as it only acts as damage reduction; meaning techniques will continue and strike the one shrouded in the cloak for full damage if the technique isn't fully stopped. This ability can only be used twice per battle, lasting three turns and having a cool down of three turns. While active however Cthulhu cannot utilize his "World Shaper" ability either.

Note: Cthulhu can only be summoned once per battle, twice per NW Arc and remains in battle until he is properly defeated.
(Kuchiyose No Jutsu: Rivaiasan, Doriimu Wiibaa ) Summoning Technique: Leviathan, the Dream Weaver
Type: Summon
Rank: S
Range: Short
Chakra Cost: 40
Damage Points: N/A
Description: The user performs the Summoning Jutsu, either through Hand Seals, or their Summoning Tattoo in order to summon forth Leviathan, the Dream Weaver in the battle. Once summoned, this monstrosity nigh immediately towers over the battlefield, being roughly 30 meters tall. While he looks identical to his father and lesser siblings, the egotistical off spring wanted to give himself a new "look". Thus when he appears in battle, utilizing Anatomy of Shapeshifter passively - he becomes a sort of hybrid of his base form but resembling that of a demonic whale/dragon hybrid. Personality wise, Leviathan is a far more egotistical than that of his father and siblings. He seems himself above all of humanity, often times questioning his loyalty even towards the Vessel of the Outer Gods. He only serves the latter out of respect of his father's desires and dreams. Despite all this, he shares the same base abilities as his siblings and father, but like them has his own unique powers while moving at the speed of an Jounin Ranked Shinobi. His Madness Induction is considered S-Rank, affecting Jounin Ranked and Below Shinobi or A-Rank and Below Summons/Animals. As his title might suggest, Leviathan is a master of dream weaving, aka Genjutsu. He is capable of utilizing any basic Genjutsu the Vessel of Outer Gods is capable of up to S Rank and without the need of handseals, only needing to create body gestures. While this is considered rather basic in itself, his use of Genjutsu isn't without a twist. Illusions where the target perceives some sort of sentient being or animal, i.e Illusion Technique: Crushing Snake Constriction where it creates an illusionary snake, Leviathan can manipulate the illusion, causing an illusionary form of himself instead to appear in a snake like form.

Note: Leviathan can only be summoned once per battle, twice per NW Arc and remains in battle until he is properly defeated.
(Riehian) R'lyehian (Passive)
Type: Supplementary
Rank: N/A
Range: N/A
Chakra Cost: N/A
Damage Points: N/A
Description: R'lyehian is not a traditional technique in the sense of common ninjutsu. Rather, R'lyehian is a very unique language that only those who are recognized as the Vessel of the Outer Gods or Cthulhu himself or any of his offspring are capable of understanding. While the alien god is capable of understanding the human language, having been in this dimension for multiple centuries – Cthulhu’s native tongue is one of unknown earthly origin. In terms of R'lyehian’s purpose, it usually serves no purpose other than to allow the user the Vessel of the Outer Gods and the other aliens of the contract the ability to communicate in battle without directly revealing information. This allows them to effortlessly talk with each other to formulae battle tactics, simple communication while traveling etc. Those who hears this language are incapable of deciphering the words that are spoken, though the user is or summons are capable of teaching others or explaining what they said if desired. The user also makes it a common practice to think with this language quite often, which in turn causes those who are capable of reading minds to be unable to gain information through vocals or visual as words within the users’ memories are all automatically rewritten to prevent information from being released. While they might experience a memory, those within said memories (should there be speech) will also be altered by the user to only being capable of hearing R'lyehian language. In the end, this technique is merely cosmetic as it doesn’t require any sort of activation nor does it cost a move slot. It however must be mentioned within the user’s bio or at the start of battle in order to be in effect.
(Kaibou-gaku no Sheipushifutā) Anatomy of Shapeshifters
Type: Offense, Supplementary, Defensive
Rank: D - S
Range: Short - Long
Chakra: 10 - 40 (-5 to Sustain)
Damage: 20 - 80
Description: This technique acts as the outline of Cthulhu and his children's ability to shape their natural body. An intrinsic ability, these summons are capable of manipulating their anatomy to a minor to large degree, ranging from shifting their limbs into powerful physically blunt or sharpen constructs, down to completely mimicking the appearance of humans and animals alike, with them being anything the user desires (within reason, such as not being able to make waves or anything that "detaches" from the summon). These changes can be made for offensive, defensive and supplementary purposes, depending on the needs of the summoner or summons themselves. They can use it to increase or decrease in size though they can only grow x1.5 their original height while also creating limbs they originally didn't have such as wings to fly or tentacles to grab and constrict others. These limbs can grow and reach up to mid-range of Spawn of Cthulhu, while Leviathan and Cthulhu himself can reach up to long rang, with the amount of damage ranging based on the rank applied. D - B Rank can be used at unlimited amounts of times, A rank capable of being used thrice per summon in battle and S rank twice per battle with each having a cool down of two turns before being capable of using it again. These constructs are considered neutral to elemental ninjutsu and multiple can be made in a single use, though the damage splits based on rank applied. Signers of the contract with the ability to access "Sage Mode (Imperfect or Perfect) " can also utilize this on themselves as well due to their similar anatomy, though can only go up to mid-range. While clashing with opposing techniques, these constructs do not cause any damage to the summons themselves, simply being extensions of themselves. However if they are overpowered by opposing techniques, the extensions simply detach and become useless.

Disgruntled, Mirabelle would have been teleported back into the normal zone of the Dark Tower - Mirabelle sighed, as she knew the Nibi was disappointed in her choice but she was wasting time chasing after whatever it is that her partner was feeling back in Outer Lands. The various undead became a memory of the past and future research into it would be thought of at another time and date. She would have dismissed her summons, poofing away as Mirabelle’s eyes gleamed into the direction of the Outer Lands.

Alright…let’s go!” she said, but before she left - she noticed a very…particular item piercing through the surface of the terrain. Mirabelle would have grabbed onto it and from the ground, revealing a unique sword. She observed the sword with a keen eye, as she loved its craftsmanship. She took it for her own, as she left the Dark Tower once more.

( Hagakure Kikigaki ) - Hidden Leaves
Type: Weapon
Rank: S
Range: Short - Long
Chakra: 40
Damage: N/A
Description: Deep within the Dark Tower lies many secrets of Oisha and his former master Asano, secrets the pupil wished to take to the grave with him. Prior to acquiring the first of the Zōka Sanshin, Oisha learned the secrets of Hagakure and expanded upon these before ultimately passing his knowledge onto his most skilled and trusted samurai, Ishijo of the Riverlands. However, following Oisha’s betrayal and the ensuing battle that occurred between him and the Ronin, the blade was lost and never recovered by Ishijo.

The Hagakure has three unique skills attributed to it, allowing for it’s varied and powerful usages. The first of the three abilities is a passive ability known as Gunki Monogatari. Gunki Monogatari refers to the state of the blade and it’s dual natured composition. Hagakure is both a physical blade as well as a spiritual one, coexisting at the same time, appearing as a blackened blade with wispy air-like wisps emanating from it. This dual existence grants the blade the ability to deal both physical and spiritual damage at one time, splitting the damage done to target’s spiritual health as well as body as evenly as possible, dealing both physical and spiritual damage. These techniques will combat techniques as normal though. This ability is passive in nature and enhances all non elemental Kenjutsu as well as non-Yin or non-Yang based Kenjutsu.

The first active ability is a special attack called Kashoki. The user releases several crescent blades of energy, designed to combat intangible techniques as well as injure the target. These crescents are capable of interacting with spiritual techniques that are normally intangible as well as other techniques that are intangible. These blades also deal a double effect on targets; should an attack land, then the target’s overall health points lower by 10. This 10 health reduces the damage from the technique originally used, dealing 10 less damage as an S ranked attack to living targets. What this means is should the S ranked technique land, 70 damage will be dealt while their max health drops by 10 as well. Against other Jutsu, full damage will apply. The user can make these crescents to combat other techniques once every 2 turns.

The last and perhaps most notable ability of the Hagakure is known as Bushi Katagi, or Warrior Spirit. Activating this spirit, this warrior spirit is reflected in the form of a faint blue hue over the user’s body, enhancing his blade’s spiritual abilities. This aura extends some of the Hagakure’s mystical abilities to it’s wielder, allowing them to be able to enhance their forms to mitigate the effects of damage, spending spiritual health to block physical damage. Being able to spend up to 100 health, the user is able to negate up to the same amount of damage. Anything higher than this and the user will take full damage as well as force the Health System drawbacks to trigger which, through usage of Bushi Katagi, normally do not trigger. This aura also augments the user’s Kashoki ability and allows him to target spiritual entities regardless of state, form, or realm. Should the user be capable of detecting a spiritual target, this blade will allow him to target them with Kashoki. Bushi Katagi allows Kashoki to not only target spiritual entities but also suppress them into the sword, augmenting his next Kashoki attack with the effects of the previously targeted spiritual entity.

Note: Gunki Monogatari is a passive ability always in effect, augmenting their effects. These effects cannot be mitigated unless by Yin or Yang based abilities.
Note: Should Bushi Katagi be used, then the cooldown rate for Kashoki is reduced to once per turn. However after Bushi Katagi ends, this can only be used once every 3 turns for the remainder of the battle. Should a second use of Bushi Katagi occur and end, Kashoki will only be usable once every 4 turns.
Note: Bushi Katagi requires the user to have at least 50 health before he can trigger it. It can only be used twice a battle, lasting 3 turns each use. Should the user’s sacrificed health leave him with less than 25, then this technique will automatically end regardless of how much has been blocked. The user is capable of using this as a blue barrier that blocks the same amount of damage for multiple allies, covering up to 6 meters. This can only be done with allies and not solo fights. Barrier use prevents further use of Bushi Katagi and lasts a single turn.
Note: Health spent to defend cannot be regenerated nor restored by the user or his Creation/Summonings or Tools. Another Ninja must heal the user in order for the health to return. However, he will not experience Fatigue or Health System drawbacks until his health is lowered by outside methods.
Note: Counts as the user’s CW. Cannot be paired with other CW.

Kytea approached the Dark Tower carefully, she skulked as she did. But it seemed mostly barren, it was a looming structure that seemed to have no activity about it anymore. She remembered when it first arrived in the landmark, it was a big attraction for all sorts of powerful people, and caused a lot of chaos. But now it had run its course. As she approached the grounds, there was nothing to see... at least nothing from this distance, and there seemed to be no activity either.

As she got even closer to the structure, the ground was littered with the scars of battle and just the dead. Corpses of all variety of decomposition in this area seemed to be scattered all over the place, nature had partially put them to rest - but it was still very prominent and easy to see up this close. Kytea crouched over a particular skeleton that was partially buried in the sandy ground, it was peppered with Kunai it seemed, there was one lodged in its left eye socket and another in between its ribs, others were partially buried around it. They caught her eye because of the inscriptions on some of the scattered Kunai.

She went around to a bunch of different spots that caught her eye, looting the odd materials and whatever seemed to grow here if it was of any use. She even managed to get some coins. One thing did stand out eventually, it was what seemed to be a full armoured corpse, she could not tell what state the corpse was in as it was covered head to toe in this ornamental armour. Kytea approached the armour and stood over it, there was a large Jewel in the chest plate. She tilted her head and took out a chisel. She hunched over the armour and tried to get the edge of the Chisel under the Jewel, when she found some sort of purchase she took out a hammer and began to tap lightly, putting more force into it gradually.

KACHINK!

Did it budge? Kytea observed after the noise was made, she then tried to pull her chisel away but it was stuck. She frowned and tried to pull hard, she put her foot against the armour to give her more forces to work with.

Her useless pulling was soon interrupted by the strain around her throat, the sudden struggle to being able to breathe was truly a shocking development as she noticed the Armoured hand clutched around her throat with a merciless grip. It seemed the Corpse was not very good at being one.

As the Armour came to life, it stood up - lifting Kytea into the air by the throat. She felt her feet dangle and kicked, struggling yet holding onto the gripped hand with hers, trying to pry at them for some sliver of air. Her legs slipped against the armour's metal, trying to find purchase until she did. She extended her legs trying to kick against him to free herself, but with the struggle it was hard to use what strength she had.

"AAAAAAH!" She Pushed Both legs against the armour as hard as she could and screaming in pain and frustration and then there was a sudden yank and Kytea fell from the air and landed on the dirt with a thud. The hand had come loose around her neck and she started coughing immediately, she knew she couldn't just rest and recover however and quickly rolled over and pushed herself off the ground. She got a bit of distance between her and the Living Armour... it wasn't a corpse at all, where the arm had been pulled off from it seemed there was some kind of mechanism. Some kind of Construct Guard? It seemed she had accidentally awoken it, maybe the Jewel is what powered the Construct. Her Chisel was still jammed underneath it, but the Jewel seemed very much stuck there.

The Armoured Construct Walks towards her slowly, its glowing yellow eyes locked onto her. Kytea rubbed her neck, backing up slowly as it approached, thinking of what to do. It reached out for her with the only arm it had left (haha), even though it walked slow it moved surprisingly quickly. Kytea dodges to the left, just about missing the outstretched hand, though it was not all the Armour had - it swiped it's hand towards the direction Kytea dodged and struck her across the face sending her rolling across the sandy ground. She quickly recovered and it was already moving towards her, she got up from a crouch as it tried go for a grab again. This time she went under to try to move towards it, she had to somehow attack it in retur-

Her though process was quickly interrupted by a metal knee colliding with her chest and sending Kytea flying backwards, tumbling over herself. She groaned in pain, she spat blood and then pulled herself from the ground. The Armour would not afford her the luxury of time so she could not give it such opportunity. As she stumbled to her feet it was already upon her, though she tucked in and clenched her fists. It threw a punch at her.

Kytea jumps and kicks off of the Constructs Forearm, twisting her torso and spinning in mid air to perform a spinning back kick to the Construct's armoured head with power and speed that do not seem to suit how she looks. The Armoured Constructs Helmet would be struck lean off its shoulders, prompting a smile from Kytea as it worked. Though the smile quickly faded when she felt her ankle get grabbed, she was quickly slammed into the ground beside the Armour and then thrown with great strength through the air until she crashed into a small pile of rubble. Even without it's helmet and head, the Construct moved.

(Konoha Gōriki Senpū ) - Leaf Strong Whirlwind
Rank: B
Type: Attack
Range: Short
Chakra Cost: N/A
Damage Points: 40
Description: A taijutsu using a combination of speed and power. The essence of this technique is concentrated in a spinning back kick, with such speed that makes it hard to follow the user's movement, smashing his enemy with overwhelming strength. This is a more Powerful leaf great whirlwind.

Kytea laughed, it was a frustrated one. A coping one. She was in so much pain, her body ached now and it was a chore to move. Even as the Armoured Construct approached, she could not find the will to pull herself up. She had to. She could not. She really had got herself into a tricky situation now, the Dark Tower... what was she thinking?

"AH!" Kytea's hair was grabbed by the Construct and she was pulled up by force. She held onto its hand to give herself something against the pressure.

There was one final thing she had left, one desperate attempt. She thrust her leg forward, as hard as she could. Straight into the Chisel lodged under the Jewel. She felt the Chisel give, and the Jewel shot up out of the chest-plate. The Armour just stood there with its hand still firmly gripped in Kytea's hair. It let go.

She felt the ground beneath her reach her, falling to her hands and knees as she coughs. The Armour falls to its knees and seems to just slump there, lifeless again. Kytea looks around for the Jewel that had been ejected from it's chest - what seemed to be it's power source. She eventually found it after a little scanning of the ground and took it in her palm, blowing the sand away. It was blue, strange, like it had a universe locked inside of it... it was very pretty and... familiar. She quickly put it in her pouch of other goodies. She earned that item for sure, she wondered what she could learn from it.

She sat and took five. Maybe Fifty. There was more to find after-all. She let out a painful chuckle.
