I actually Thought Itachi has a Great Weapon as Izanami but Damn Kishi Trolled me Once Again.

Obviously the only use of Izanami is to Stop Izanagi.

And it will be Useless against ninja Like Naruto, Killer bee, Kakashi and Gaara Cause they are not Trying to Someone else they are always be themselves.

While its Useful against Opponent like Kabuto, Tobi(Pretends to be Madara) etc. . . .

and Obviously I wanted to see a very Dangerous battle cause Itachi is my one of Favorite but Kishi just made the battle Sick.

Now i Really want Itachi to kstop Edo tensei soon then We Can see Our Hero NARUTO UZUMAKI back in Action Yeah Baby. plus yes 5 Kages Tsunade is getting Interesting in Fight want to see that too.

Izanami is greatly OP, ppl just don't know it, it locks you into a loop of a given situation until you do what the user wants, what's so OP are the requirements of locking virtually anyone in the twilight zone until they do what you want, it needs the users sight, and an opponents senses, this could be sound, touch, or even smell and taste.

Furthermore even if you switch up the next move you make, with the sharingan itachi will just mirror your move or trump it with susanno, even worse is Sasuke even appears to be in the loop, meaning it'll be hard to even recognize you're in the jutsu, look at that page where kabuto screams what the hell did you do me, He got caught from his sense of touch and the water dripping, which could have been touch and sound.

The only way to escape I can see is in izanagi's case is to do what the user ask, thus deciding ones destiny. If it applies to Izanagi, than there is no hope for anyone else, eventually kabuto will tire of the loop and either dispel it of his own freewill, or open his eyes, and then Itachi will Tsukiyomi him into dispelling the tech, thus deciding ones destiny.

I haven't fully grasped the whole thing, but if you grasp the basics, you can see that tech is Uber OP, just not in actual killing

Others can still get loop... they just might break it faster... but think about the time it will take... itachi would have Impaled them with sword of totsuka already... The only reason Kabuto is alive is because Itachi isnt planning to kill.

You still don't get it, Kabuto didn't have any one path...Kabuto has many flaws.. he's arrogant and thinks he's above everyone.. That to could have been used izanami... His one big problem that Itachi noticed, was that he was attempting to become other people by implanting dna... Itachi used that against him to make him accept himself and not others..

He could have very well used it to make him accept that he wasn't the best at everything and not all powerfull

There are many ways to use izanami depending on each person... Back then it was just used on uchihas to stop running from their mistakes, whether is be injury or death (through izanagi) and accept their destiny..

Itachi maybe just mentioned that it was not good for battle because it could take a while, depending on what the caster does and what the victim does. Although it seems like it can be a one shot in one vs. One battles. But that is just my opinion.

On a side note: Itachi used another water jutsu.

You don't have to use iznami to get stop people from being someone other than themselves. It can be a loop just like itachi said where you have two choices. Doesnt have to be about stopping people from fooling themselves although many people on this thread think that. It could be used to get someone to get rid of edo tensei or to stop a war.

Itachi in the genjutsu is constantly reminding kabuto to stop trying to become orochimaru etc... If he wasn't doing that, kabuto would be in that loop forever...

OT: people who say izanami is useless in 1v1 battle should re-read the chapter it clearly states it is a kinjutsu. he said it can't really be used because of the risks it carries but that doesn't mean it can;t be applied in battle
Examples: Edo tensei is a kinjutsu yet kabuto uses it in battle
mass shadow clone is also a kinjutsu it can be used in battle.
Those jutsus above have side effects and risks that is why not many ninja's use them. But they are still used by some
