(Utsukushī Hāpuāto) - Beautiful Harp Arts

Background: Beautiful Harp Arts were made by Knight Tristan. Originally going to be sat as someone who was going to be a knight specializing in close quarters combat, as a youngling he had precise aim and was gifted with bows. Extremely gifted. This art, at base, works like any other art revolving around bows however it of course incorporates different entities into play. Knight Tristan being the creator and sole practitioner of the art, carried a certain bow in which this art revolves around and why it is called the harp arts. He carries a large bow with several strings on it for several reasons. Two of the main reasons being that more strings equals more resistance and more force in which the bow can fire arrows and two: to fire arrows at an exceptionally alarming rate. Masters of this style, like Tristan, able to fire arrows with a finger each with very smooth transitions, hence its name "Harp Arts". Delving into how the weapon looks which all users of this art are to use, another reason that this is called Beautiful Harp Arts is because the bow, unlike others, have several strings, not just one. The bow is large and heavy, all traits resembling the harp, a musical instrument. But mind you, it plays no songs. And if it did, it would be pain to the victim's ears and pleasure to the musician's ears. This art can be both very strategic or very brutal, being one of the most unique and beautiful styles hidden in the ninja world. Tristan, however, would not be found to be outdone by utilizing bows. The bows given to practitioners of this art, usually referred to as Failnaught bows, come with spiked notches all along the spine of the bow, facing outward. This means that the bow can be used in CQC as a sword and perform sword-related techniques or techniques requiring a sword or blade. How the bow looks below.

Description on the Abilities and Inner Workings of the Style: This style serves two main purposes with a bow. The first being rapid fire incorporating Ototon chakra. Of course, when you pluck the string of the bow it vibrates. Sound being composed of just that, vibrations, is able to take the form of an arrow and be able to strike an opponent ever so swiftly and with deafening or even cutting potential. In which case, the first form of this style has both cutting and deafening potential. Being that the "arrows" coming from the bow are composed of pure sound from the vibration of the strings themselves, attacks utilizing this style are extremely fast and able to be done in rapid succession, both deafening those it comes into contact with and cutting or piercing them. This style is called Graceful. The arrows, being composed of sound, are of course invisible to the naked eye. The second primary function of this art is utilizing the bows specially made for Beautiful Harp Arts with their many strings, drawing them all back at once and incorporating a more devastating and volatile arrow of sound. These techniques are called Wrathful, with more amplified vibration and force as well as more concentrated. Each technique for this style will clearly adhere to one of the two functions of the style: Graceful or Wrathful.

(Utsukushī Hāpuāto: Tenshi no Sutoramu ) - Beautiful Harp Arts: Angelic Strum

Description: One of the more common jutsus of this style, the user will strum their fingers across their unique bow, rapidly releasing five arrows of sound at a target location, one after another. The user will then either let them come into contact with something and they will explode rapidly, causing mini-lacerations as well as a mini-sound vortex that deafens anything within short range of the point of contact or the user can also re-strum their bow forward, causing the same effect but on command rather than point of contact. The mini vortexes cause a subsequent -10 damage to anything within its short range if not properly blocked separately as opposed to the piercing and slicing potential of the arrow itself, causing deafness for one turn if not properly defended against. Each arrow fired has the potential to cause the damage chosen by the user so although not a collective multiplier, the damage does not fall off per arrow blocked or evaded. Each arrow can be sent to different location, all arrows adhering to previously mentioned fall off. [Graceful]

The user will pull back all strings together and fire three larger arrows at the same time. One going straight forward, the other two going wide to either side. All arrows meet at a target location and detonate on impact or during a forward strum of the bow. This causes a mini explosion from the location of detonation to mid range and creates a lingering field of vibration and sound for the turn the move was used and the next, causing a subsequent -20 damage to the target if not defended against the sound field itself. (Utsukushī Hāpuāto: Kami no Koe) - Beautiful Harp Arts: Voice of God
Type: Offensive/Supplementary

Range: Short-Long

Description: The user will roughly strum their bow, aiming at a target location and release a monstrously large arrow of sound. Upon point of contact or upon the user forward strumming, the arrow will explode, causing both deafness (-20) in the vicinity, as well as a sound resonating field from short to mid range upon contact or forward strum. This field causes subsequent damage to unprotected victims as the sound echoes and resonates in this location for three turns. This is not a streamed technique as the vibrations from the point of contact and string release/forward strumming itself keeps the field of sound active until the sound waves dissipate (three turns). The point of contact is one damage pool (80), the subsequent lingering vibration is -20 per turn the victim remains unprotected from the sound. If any part of this jutsu hits the target, their bodies will be shaken violently and their chakra system disrupted. This will make them unable to perform jutsu A rank and up as well as streamed techniques for as long as they are within this field upon initial contact or detonation. [Wrathful]

Note: Can only be used thrice per battle

The user will strum their bow towards the air and let off dozens of arrows at once. They go up quickly and come down even quicker, with the vibrations and sound expanding and making a connected field of vibrations and sound between all of the arrows. The purpose this serves is that it will flatten and neutralize (within reason) any opposing technique on the field. This will last for two turns as the vibrations continue to go up and down until they fully disperse. [Graceful]

(Utsukushī Hāpuāto: Pāfekutohāmonī) - Beautiful Harp Arts: Perfect Harmony
Type: Offensive/Defensive/Supplementary

Damage: N/A
Description: Using a single strum, the user will fire off an arrow that upon contact or after a forward strum, will detonate carrying a genjutsu of their choosing through the sound waves of the arrow. This detonation affects anything within mid range of the point of contact or detonation. This genjutsu can be any the user wishes so long as it is not a visual doujutsu-based genjutsu. Like other techniques involved in this art, the point of detonation releases a mini-sound vortex causing 10 damage to the victim as well as deafness for one turn if not protected against, serving a unique, double edge sword. This technique, when performed, adheres to the genjutsu in which the user chooses. So that means the damage, chakra costs, etc. are applied that way instead. Of course, whatever genjutsu the user uses must be posted for reference. No matter the range of the genjutsu, it is short to long range due to the arrow being the medium.

Note: S rank genjutsu can be used 3 times per battle, A rank 4 times per battle

Additional effects and Restrictions: While practitioners of this art are able to use both stances, Wrathful and Graceful, true masters of this style have honed in on one of these two styles. When someone has mastered and specialized in this style, they can pick a stance to have mastery over. Being a master over the Graceful stance means that the user's flexibility and senses are much heightened from their excessive target training, agility and ability to fire off arrows much faster, gain a 2x speed boost due to their graceful nature in the art and their tireless training under very athletic circumstances. If they are a master over the Wrathful stance which requires not only a deadeye shot with bows but full mastery over Ototon as they have completely synergized their Ototon chakra with their beautiful deadeye shot, they gain a +20 damage enhancement to all sound techniques, including the Graceful Harp Arts. Depending on which you choose, this is passively applied to the user. Shall a user of this art choose to master it and specialize in a stance, it must be stated on that bio that they specialize in Beautiful Harp Arts [Graceful] or Beautiful Harp Arts [Wrathful]. You do not need sound on your bio to utilize this art but you must have learned or purchased it at some point in time.

Declined: This had potential to be a cool CFS but right now its literally just something you can do with a custom weapon. You can go to the CJ thread, make Failnaught as a CW and have it basic attack be sound waves when you strum on its strings and you'll have the same effect. Flesh out the Graceful vs Wrathful Stances more as you touch on it lightly but don't really go in depth(they can be so much more). This gives me Monster Hunter Vibes specifically the Hunting Horn I suggest drawing inspiration from there to make the CFS more like a CFS. Sidenote: Your shots will NOT be invisible. Lastly, CFS's will only be allowed to have one passive from now on, not an option to choose either/or. Going to try to be more consistent on this. - Daemon

Background:
This fighting style revolves around the previous usages of ninjutsu but in a completely different way than that of the normal circumstance. The Art of the Dragon's Voice, or ''Thu'um'' is a vocal method to casting chakra based ailments that derives from the ancient dragons to whom used their throat to conjure their own sense of magic. Long ago before man stood amongst the mountains and open field of free game their were draconic creatures that stood so tall yet massive in length that they could easily seek out prey of their choosing, firstly demobilizing them by their vocal chakras that emitted from their mouth and upon which they could then feast to their liking. None stood a chance against these creatures until the earth gave birth to man, to which they'd eventually hunt them down and exterminate them in the masses. However, one group disagreed to the notion of believing that the dragons were of threat to their lifestock; eventually forming a group called the greybeards to which they'd give daily worship to them. The dragons took a liking to the group whom stood before their might without aggression and through some time alone both agreed to help one another. It was then after which the dragons almost turned extinct at this point that they felt their was no other choice but to grant the worshippers of their kind a magical power that up till now only their species could manage. Now that the worshippers could use the dragons power of the Thu'um they'd rush to the side of the dragons side in battle, although they'd ultimately fail by the seer number difference that they stood against. The dragons slowly went extinct whilst the greybeards had no other choice but to escape into seclusion in hopes that one day they may rise up again to take vengeance upon what they deemed to be a ruthless act of murder. New followers of both this faith and their fighting style revolving around the dragon's voice are called ''Dovahkiin'' or ''Dragon born''.

Description on the Abilities and Inner Workings of the Style:
This particular fighting style derives from the ancient art of the dragons to whom used them in combat but similar to what was said prior '' This fighting style revolves around the previous usages of ninjutsu but in a completely different way than that of the normal circumstance. The Art of the Dragon's Voice, or ''Thu'um'' is a vocal method to casting chakra-based ailments that derives from the ancient dragons to whom used their throat to conjure their own sense of magic. '' It is a method to which through the usage of vocals instead of handseals will cause a more even and seamless flow of chakra directly from the core instead of using a median like gestures to conjure forth techniques. Because of these techniques that're associated with the artform is considered extremely fast acting and can be considered equal in speeds of lightning chakra with a +10 DMG increase to its force. What does, however, replace the usages of handseals instead are words that'll be vocal to determine the prowess of a jutsu that is casted, although all of which surround its concepts around the basic five elements for their standards. Every technique, which is regarded as a ''shout'', are comprised of a total of three words which reflects the power that which is determinate by its ailment. For example: A fire shout that is casted by its first word is considered of its weakest form, whilst the third word of its chain if said prior to casting its technique is regarded as the most powerful. This is done by building up the necessary chakra within the core itself which is released from the mouth directly; the more build up it has the more powerful it will be when it is finally released. When considering a photo-imagery example of this style it can be similar to that of a water hose; when bent it continually builds up till it is released which formulates a greater spew of its stream while merely turning it on will leak before spewing its stream.

Description: By manipulating their core into fire chakra the user will mutter either one, two, or three words to which they'll then emit a very large and wide wave of fire reaching up to long ranges with great speeds. The first word is considered to be B-rank with no other special attributes to it other than it being a fire wave. The second word of its chain will be regarded as A-rank and will leave a trail of fire behind its wake that will stay for 2 turns after. The third word, and the most powerful of its shout, once uttered will emit a fire wave from the mouth that'll completely turn solidity to ash. The first word can be used unlimitedly, the second word can only be used three times whilst the third word can only be used once per battle.

(Thu'um: Arayū) - Art of the Dragon's Voice: Unrelenting Force
Type: Offensive
Rank: B-S
Range: Short - Long
Chakra: 20-30-40
Damage: 40-60-80
Description: By manipulating their core into pure chakra the user will mutter either one, two, or three words to which they'll then emit a very large and wide wave of pure chakra reaching up to long ranges with great speeds. The first word is considered to be B-rank which'll cause the combatant to be slightly imbalanced. The second word of its chain will be regarded as A-rank and will cause the combatant to lose their footing and fall down. The third word, and the most powerful of its shout, once uttered will emit a much larger and faster wave of pure chakra that'll hit the combatant with such blunt force to cause them to fly backwards into longer ranges whilst being imbalanced for that turn. The first word can be used unlimitedly, the second word can only be used three times whilst the third word can only be used twice per battle.

Additional effects and Restrictions: Must be Jonin rank to learn

-Declined- This has been tried before and it just isn't a CFS and fundamentally is identical to basic elemental releases only with no seals.

She has finally managed to put both together, creating a unique style to call her own. Many inspirations, including the likes of the books she read written by King Solomon, the powerful script making of the Rune King, and many more.

The first process, utilizing Yin Release’s vast applications, will either create unique sealing formulae composed of Yin energy, through the infusion of it into their seals already preexisting by rewriting it or any method of utilizing fuinjutsu script. This unique form of script, commonly known amongst practitioners as “Mystic Code” which will be the name used throughout. In the case of rewriting the existing script, the user doesn't remove its original purpose - but instead adds into instead to add more functionality into it.

The mystic code follows a simple process with applies to all techniques of the style. The first of these principles is the formation of the aforementioned script. Once the sealing script makes contact with foreign chakra, the kanji within it is set to trigger (though the user can selectively decide not to have it trigger as well). This causes the yin chakra to absorb the chakra, forcefully sealing it into the script. The chakra absorbing properties of yin itself increases the potent nature of these scripts, allowing them to absorb and seal more chakra than normal seals.

The second principle, being the spiritual release. Once the yin energy has sealed the foreign chakra, this causes the last portion of the seal to be released. The mystic code would instantly release a spiritual parasite immediately after absorbing chakra from the opponent, that remains attached to the mystic code until physical contact is made with the opponent which then causes the parasite to attach them if physical contact is established. Like Hungry Ghost, this parasite will attach itself to the person, which in turn is capable of causing spiritual instability within them. These ranges from spiritual decline (draining of spiritual energy), inflicting genjutsu onto the targets, or any other spiritual degrading properties of yin release. These spiritual parasites will also continue to exist until the parasite naturally ends and or removed which in this case if not removed. However, once a parasite exists, if contact is made allows for more parasites to stack onto each other.

All components of this style occur instantly within one another, meaning upon sealing the chakra and releasing the parasite, it all happens immediately in tandem to each other due to how the mystic code is written. It should be noted that the mystic code itself while usually only capable of being used against foreign chakra, it can also be used on its creator should they choose to do so in ways such are making a parasite capable of releasing illusions onto the user or even on allies alike, providing some sense of supportive purposes to the code. Though this requires the medium (the arrow) to make physical contact with the person in question, simply needing to have contact with it.

In other words, by having the code itself be wrapped around/inscribed onto weapons the user possesses on their person but to be more precise, the use of arrows is utilized for the style. Immediately, upon contact - the code swiftly absorbs the chakra and seals it within while simultaneously releasing the spiritual parasite which then attaches to the arrow. The parasite would latch onto the target once in physical contact, as it swiftly begins to drain their spiritual energy. This causes them to lose 50 HP per turn, causing them to become more spiritually weakened. Once drained enough, the target will drop into a comatose state, releasing the parasite as it naturally fades away.


Additional effects and Restrictions:
Requires completion of Fuinjutsu and Yin Release. Damage dealt via the techniques of this style are all spiritual-based and physical. These seals are only capable of absorbing up to 40 chakra (unless Advanced Fuinjutsu is utilized). Masters(Specialists) of this style are capable of tracking up to x2 due to their mastery of archery.

This is a passive ability of the style, not requiring a moveslot though costs an -10 chakra each time in order to summon the bow. The bow in question takes a solid form, provide by one's Yin Mastery, accompanied with the bow string. This can also be used for other Archery based techniques that they might know.

-Declined- I don't really like the idea of just summoning a random yin bow out of nothing, especially cause you're saying it's spiritual? Like what would that even entail how could you possibly wield it etc?

It should be noted that the mystic code itself while usually only capable of being used against foreign chakra, it can also be used on its creator should they choose to do so in ways such are making a parasite capable of releasing illusions onto the user or even on allies alike, providing some sense of supportive purposes to the code. Though this requires the medium (the arrow) to make physical contact with the person in question, simply needing to have contact with it.

The Mystic Code can also be applied to the user's bukijutsu. In other words, by having the code itself be wrapped around/inscribed onto weapons the user possesses on their person but to be more precise, the use of arrows is utilized for the style. This can be done in a wide variety of ways such as the arrow, allowing the code to trigger upon contact foreign chakra to seemingly "slice" through the opponent technique though in reality, it is simply the script absorbing and sealing the chakra away. The code would wrap itself around the arrow and remain on it while in flight until meeting foreign chakra though once contact is made, the arrow will continue towards opponent uninterrupted unless destroyed or piercing them on contact to infect them with an arrow while inflicting physical damage as well.

Mirabelle is capable of utilizing her Yin Energy in order to give form to a physical black bow. These bows while crafted from her spiritual energy are given tangible aspects, allowing it to be used alongside the custom fighting style or other archery based abilities in order to fire and release arrows at enemies. This ability is a passive one, not requiring a move slot but requires - chakra each time to craft but also in order to fuel it's form. It should be noted this ability derives from "Yin Release: Change Into Heaven", a showcase of Yin Release's immense imagery skill and adding/creating aspects onto other techniques using one's Yin Energy.

Background:

Verg Avesta, alternately known as Falsely Transcribed Creation, is a style embodying the idea that all living things are inherently evil. In ancient times, a small village community had pledged themselves to the worship of a deity, Ahura Mazda, who was the creator deity in the scriptures of Avesta, and a spirit of wisdom and goodness. His opposite, Angra Mainyu, was a destructive spirit of evil and malice. Those villagers were faced with a choice; to worship him, thus becoming pure and good like he, or to shun him and fall to darkness. For them, the spirit was a canvas upon which the colours of good and evil were painted. And just as the body was the vessel that housed one's spirit, it too was a surface upon which good or evil could be transcribed.

As troubled times continued to fall upon the village, be it by famine or natural disaster, its inhabitants became desperate. The hardship that plagued their village came from things which held no agency, they were not good or evil, they simply were. But for those villagers, who believed themselves righteous and pure, they took it as being punishment that was undeserved. They needed a scapegoat to be designated a demon whose existence was the reason for the village's mounting calamities. They chose a quiet youth, taking him from the streets during the day as he wandered aimlessly. They captured him, beat him, carved every word that cursed mankind onto his body, forced every sin imaginable upon him, took out bits and pieces of him slowly, defiled his mind with absolute evil, and held him responsible for all of it in the world. They would not allow him to die until he succumbed to old age. At first, he only hated the ones around him; those responsible for his suffering. And then, over time, he began to hate everything. His hatred became a natural function, rather than an emotion, and his very being was now synonymous with evil; All the World's Evils.

The name and life of that youth is unrecorded in any book, scroll, or archive. The village where he once lived no longer exists. All that remains of that place, that era, that tragedy, is a tablet known as the Verg Avesta.​

Description on the Abilities and Inner Workings of the Style:

The two areas that form the basis for Verg Avesta are Yin Release and Fūinjutsu. Yin Release forms the skeleton for the style for two reasons; the first being its ability to create form from nothing, and its ability to interact with both the mind and spirit through the body. The user produces constructs of chakra from their body, taking on the form of highly flexible black ribbons with red outlines. Because they are made through Yin Release, their state of matter can be created and shifted between tangible or intangible. Due to their inherently spiritual nature, they're capable of interacting with other spiritual techniques and entities regardless of their state of matter.

These chakra-constructed ribbons, which are present throughout all techniques of Verg Avesta, carry a mentally polluting curse resembling the effect of Yin Release: Hands of Sloth, which is delivered on contact with a target, this curse being known as All the World's Evils. Where Hands of Sloth simply erodes a target's sense of self and places them in a vegetative state, the curse of All the World's Evil instead turns them aggressive, transforming them into a malignant, destructive entity that is slave to the user's will. This transformation is not only mental in nature, but physical as well. One's skin grows pale, their eyes turn yellow, and red veins become visible on their body. The curse takes time to be applied, requiring two turns of uninterrupted contact or three separate instances of contact between a target and a technique. While All the World's Evils binds a target's will to the user, their personality is still left relatively intact. In the context of the curse’s effect, eligible targets include other biographies, summons, Yin-Yang Creations and other sentient entities. While the user is producing the black ribbons of the style, their features will shift to resemble the appearance of those who are affected by the curse. Though the user is functionally impervious to All the World’s Evils, it being their own curse, the mentally-polluting effect will still turn their personality darker and more aggressive.

The second component of Verg Avesta, Fūinjutsu, serves two purposes. The first takes full advantage of the sealing characteristics of Fūinjutsu, turning the ribbon constructs of the style into a sealing medium of sorts. Once a target has been fully subjected to All the World's Evils, that target can be sealed within the ribbons themselves, appearing as if it were sinking into a dark sea of shadows. At any point, the target can be released from the ribbons, bringing them to the field in a manner akin to summoning an incarnated soul through Edo Tensei. The second purpose of Fūinjutsu's incorporation into Verg Avesta allows the user to incorporate the All the World’s Evils curse into their other sealing techniques. For example, applying the curse to a barrier technique would give it the ability to afflict the curse through physical contact.​

-Theres so many new specialties now that there is very little that would be allowed for specializing in. Things like increased base speed, tracking, etc have all been made. The difference between the specialty that I had put in and the already made specialty, is that it functions inside of battle, not necessarily outside. I didnt want to make something like a +20 to tai because thats even already a speciality as well.

Medical Ninja are usually the last to enter combat, however famous medical shinobi such as Tsunade and Sakura have shown that medical ninjutsu has more than just a healing capacity, being able to be used in an offensive way such as Chakra enhanced strength. This style focuses more on the other various aspects of Medical ninjutsu that can greatly enhance taijutsu in other ways than chakra control.
This is how Fistweaving works, by 'weaving' medical chakra while performing taijutsu to ones advantage.

However, this offensive type of medical taijutsu doesnt need necessarily the patience that regular medical ninjutsu needs. Using anaesthesia to numb an opponents body part isnt designed to reduce their pain but to disable their movement. Being able to manipulate their tenketsu isnt to allow for greater chakra flow but to slow it down. The ability to incorporate medical ninjutsu into ones arsenal is a great feat, and those that master it can even use it along side their close combat as explained above. After learning and mastering medical ninjutsu, one starts to explore and incorporate it into strikes, learning just how long it takes to gather the right amount of anaesthetic chakra to effectively disable an opponents limb, as well as learning just how long contact is maintained to increase the (turns) it is unusable. While in regular medical training, ninja learn the vital points of the body, where the tenketsu is located etc. When combined with taijutsu training that allows one to learn proper strikes to disable opponents, where to strike for greatest effect etc, one can combine these two forms to deliver devastating taijutsu with additional repercussions to the opponent should a blow land.
One such mastery is the ability to generate medical chakra almost instantly instead of the regular slow gather and concentration that is required for regular medical ninja. Because those that master this style have studied this advanced medical nintaijutsu, they have an increased heightened awareness of their body, even more so than regular medical shinobi. While usually only Mystical medical palm is the only technique that can be used while simultaneously performing other techniques, those that specialize in Fistweaving can perform any medical technique while also performing taijutsu techniques even if both cost chakra. Alternatively, the user can choose to forego performing a taijutsu technique at the same time, and increase the potency of their healing to double their healing of their medical techniques instead of having a 1:2 dealing to chakra ratio.

Firstly as per Daemon's check on Goatxi's CFS check here multiple choice CFS specialties aren't allowed now, and the intent is to be more consistent. Can only have one from now on.

Second issue, the two that are there are just too much. The ability to use two Chakra techniques at the same time will likely never be allowed again, as even in it's current state not even Yin-Yang allows for this. The most that allows is manipulating multiple Elements at the same time, and either combining them for specific multi-Element techniques or performing them with rapid succession, but not the act of actually performing two at the same time. As for the second perk? The sheer numbers this could lead to are too much. x2 to every healing technique you have, passively? Need to tone this down, cause while the current Specialty Bonus is weak, this is a complete over correction.

Type: NinTaijutsu​

Background:
As a passionate water user, Barney always sought for ways to improve his close quarter fighting ability since he always struggled against sharingan and their immaculate tracking abilities as well due to his lack of speed. This resulted with creation of his own style that uses mist to conceal his movements and to control speed within it, enhancing those movements and providing him with versatility. It was a way to effectively excrete mist from his body and limbs and use it to his own advantage, by manipulating the characteristics of the mist, primarily its density. Some of the principles for the fighting style have been used as inspiration from his previous fighting style that employed soundwaves. By being able to manipulate the mist around himself to his own advantage, he created his new fighting style, calling it Misfist.

Description and Inner Workings:
Mist is one of the basic states that Water Release techniques can be released as. The most basic example of this is Water Release: Hiding in Mist Technique where the user will cause mist to form from his limbs. The mist is infused with the user’s chakra and can be controlled independently of the users movements.​

The human body contains numerous pores. These pores are commonly known for where sweat is secreted from the body. They are simple small tubular structures on the skin. On the human body the number of sweat pores can vary from human to human. However it is estimated that most humans have thousands upon thousands of these in which the number varies depending on the location on the body. Since mist are simply water droplets suspended in air, the pores on the human body are capable of reabsorbing as well as excreting them. Using this principle Misfist was created. The very basic principle of Misfist is based on the user releasing his suiton chakra from various tenketsu in his body into his pores and from there shape manipulate it into mist. As there are 361 tenketsu spread all throughout the body, the user can virtually release the mist from his whole body or simply from desired limbs, depending on the need.​

The core of the fighting style revolves around the user releasing mist from his limbs and leaving chakra infused misty trails that very quickly spread across the battlefield as he moves about, swinging his limbs and performing various punches and kicks. This way he could effectively use the mist to partially or even completely conceal his movements and tactically confuse the opponent. Furthermore, once the mist is released he can control, shape and subject it to his will with the intention to further aid him in the close quarter fights. Since the mist is infused with the users chakra, just like Water Style: Hiding in Mist Technique, it would be very useful against sharingan users and chakra sensors.​

Example; the user would charge at the sharingan user and start releasing the mist from his arm as he’s preparing to punch the opponent. If the sharingan user tries to follow the chakra flow he will be confused and won’t see the arm properly, giving the user a greater chance of hitting the opponent.
Because the mist is infused with the users chakra, once excreted it can be further manipulated, simultaneously but independently while performing taijutsu movements, using his will to control the mist albeit through its parent technique. Using his chakra within the mist, the user has developed the fighting style to either aid the user or to hinder the opponent. This is achieved as the primary ability of the style, focusing on the control over the density of the mist. Depending on his need, the user can release the mist as a very dense mist that is really hard to move through akin to running through deep water, and almost solid in appearance, creating a lot of resistance to movements, effectively slowing his opponents down. Through advanced techniques of the style, this effect could be achieved on opposing techniques as well, reducing their speed to give the user enough time to react. These interactions would follow the S&W of the Water Release.

Employing the opposite principle, the user can make the mist extremely thin and manipulate it in such a way that the molecules would glide against each other, increasing his own speed, akin to moving through vacuum or movement without the aerodynamic resistance. Same as with slowing down opponents techniques, the user could coat his own in a thin layer of mist that would be manipulated in order to increase the speed of his own techniques. These interactions would follow the S&W, as well.

Furthermore, due to the ability to expel the mist from anywhere from his body, it could be expelled with such density and force that it would move a limb in the opposite direction, giving off a propulsion effect. Same principle could be employed to slow his own movement, as well as fine tune it, depending on his needs. This ability is similar in principle to his previous fighting style although mechanically different as well in execution.

Example; the user would charge at the opponent and as he prepares his hand to punch the opponent, he could release the mist from his arm. The mist would spread around both himself and the opponent and this would provide the user with a shroud that would hide him against sharingan, for example. Furthermore, the user would use the mist to condense around the opponent, slowing him down and simultaneously releasing it from his elbow in order to increase the momentum behind a punch. As a cherry on top, he could thin out the mist around his body to allow himself to quickly circle around the opponent and strike him from the back immediately.

Choosing Misfist as the CFS specialty allows the user to mimic an Apex specialty through the CFS specialty. There are only two options to choose from, being Apex speed or Apex speed resistance, depending on the part of the style that the user decides to specialize in, namely condensing the mist to slow down the opponent or thinning it out to speed himself up. The chosen specialty has to be stated in the biography under the CFS specialty section and it doesn't stack with other Primary or Secondary speed or speed resistance specialties. Specializing with the Misfist CFS allows the user to choose a natural Apex specialty following its requirements.

Background:
As a passionate water user, Barney always sought for ways to improve his close quarter fighting ability since he always struggled against sharingan and their immaculate tracking abilities as well due to his lack of speed against various other hand to hand combatants. This resulted with creation of his own style that uses mist to conceal his movements while simultaneously allowing him to use the mist to apply a variety of debilitating effects onto his opponents in order to increase his own chances for success in hand to hand combat. It was a way to effectively excrete mist from his body and limbs and use it to his own advantage, by manipulating various characteristics of the mist, but primarily its density. Some of the principles for the fighting style have been inspired by his previous fighting style that employs soundwaves. By being able to manipulate the mist around himself to his own advantage, he created his new fighting style, calling it Misfist.

Description and Inner Workings:
Mist is one of the basic states that Water Release techniques can be released as. The most basic example of this is Water Release: Hiding in Mist Technique where the user will cause mist to form from his limbs. The mist is infused with the user’s chakra and can be controlled independently of the users movements, as well as in conjunction with his motion and muscle control.

The human body contains numerous pores. These pores are commonly known for where sweat is secreted from the body. They are simple small tubular structures on the skin. On the human body the number of sweat pores can vary from human to human, however it is estimated that most humans have thousands upon thousands of these in which the number varies depending on the location on the body. Since mist are simply water droplets suspended in air, the pores on the human body are capable of reabsorbing as well as excreting them. Using this principle Misfist was created. The very basic principle of Misfist is based on the user releasing his suiton chakra from various tenketsu in his body into his pores and from there shape manipulate it into mist. As there are 361 tenketsu spread all throughout the body, the user can virtually release the mist from his whole body or simply from desired limbs, depending on the need.

The core of the fighting style revolves around the user releasing mist from his limbs and leaving chakra infused misty trails that very quickly spread and expand across the battlefield as he moves about, swinging his limbs and performing various punches and kicks. This way he could effectively use the mist to partially or even completely conceal his movements and tactically confuse the opponent. Furthermore, once the mist is released he can control, shape and subject it to his will with the intention to further aid him in the close quarter fights. Since the mist is infused with the users chakra, just like Water Style: Hiding in Mist Technique, it would be very useful against sharingan users and chakra sensors.

Example; the user would charge at the sharingan user and start releasing the mist from his arm as he’s preparing to punch the opponent. If the sharingan user tries to follow the chakra flow he will be confused and won’t see the arm properly, giving the user a greater chance of hitting the opponent.

Based on this principle of releasing the mist to aid him in battle, as well as combining it with additional effects achievable with the mist, the user established 3 Kata, of which each produces a varying effect. These Kata can be used independently through their techniques but also in conjunction to achieve more potent effects. These effects and their numeric values would be based on the techniques used.

1st Kata - Density

Due to the mist being infused with the users chakra, once released it allows the user to shape manipulate it and condense its form to the point where it becomes almost solid. This condensed form would behave like water, where it would provide resistance to movements within the mist, aimed to slow down anything that passes through it, following the S&W of Water Release. As such it would aim to slow down opponents as well as their techniques depending on the rank of the Misfist techniques and the overall strength of the mist used. Users of the style would be accustomed to the mist and as such able to manipulate its flow around their own body in order to compensate for the slowing effect and to maintain their original speed . In this Kata, the mist can also flow in accordance to body motion and can additionally be activated by clenching and relaxing of the user's muscles.


Example; The basic movements of the 1st Kata consists of unilateral control of one's stance, so that the user tightens the left arm into their core, condensing the mist to lower the speed of their assailant, with the right arm free to throw a punch through the mist and hit the unsuspected and slowed opponent. Like moving through a vault of honey syrup, the left arm controls the majority of the environment within the mist, whereas the relaxed right arm flows through it like water, to then strike at will, creating a mass of condensed mist at the point of impact to deal damage.

2nd Kata - Drain

Based on the principle of (Suiton: Uramiame no Jutsu) - Water Release: Grudge Rain Technique, the user can use the released mist and its chakra draining properties to latch onto the opponent and drain his chakra so that it can be used to replenish ones own chakra reserves. This type of replenishment would be considered as a foreign chakra infusion. The 2nd Kata can work in combination with the 1st Kata, where the condensed mist around the opponent could be relaxed and in turn pull chakra out of the opponent with clenching and relaxing of ones muscles. The amount of drained chakra would be based on the technique and overall strength of the mist.


Example; When used in combination with the 1st Kata, the user is capable of sapping chakra out of his opponent, which is an ability that can also be controlled by his own body motions. After condensing the mist around the opponent in order to deal a strike, the user is capable of relaxing one's clenched muscles into pulling motions, as the mist behaves like a syringe in perfect synchronization. When relaxing a clenched muscle, the tight mist softens and the chakra of the opponent stricks to the condensed mist, which is then forcefully removed and pulled out of him, with the pulling motion of ones own limb.

3rd Kata - Debuff

The 3rd Kata is achieved as an additional supplementary effect when combining the 1st and 2nd Kata. When used, the 3rd Kata applies a debuff to the opponent in order to reduce the potential of the opponents chakra based techniques for a short period of time. This happens due to the chakra infused mist that is used to condense and drain the opponent of his own chakra, which results in the inevitable residue of some of the users own chakra on the opponent. This chakra targets the opponents chakra circulatory system in order to apply the debuff, which would be based on the rank of the technique and overall strength of the mist.


Example; Using the combination of the 1st and 2nd Kata, the user would condense and relax the mist, slowing down movement and draining chakra within it. These effects would result in the users chakra being left as a residue that would apply a debuffing effect to anything caught within the mist.

Additional effects and Restrictions:
Choosing Misfist as a CFS specialty allows the user to use an elevated form of the fighting style which doesn't require movements in order to control the mist and as such can be controlled by mentally imagining those movements instead. Being able to control the mist mentally, allows the user to focus better on his hand to hand combat and results with a boost of 1 rank to Misfist techniques.

Biggest issue is the same as in the last check, the additional effect/ CFS specialization. Firstly, as mentioned by Daemon on Goatxi's submission, we're only allowing a single specialization perk now in an attempt to prevent abuse and keep checks consistent. While you have two and will need to drop one, the bigger issue is the first perk listed. It legitimately defeats and subverts the entire point of a Fighting Style. You can perform all the techniques of your style without moving your body. Think about that for even a second, and you don't actually even have a CFS. You have a better version of the Apex Handseal spec for a Mist Custom Element that uses a bunch of canon effects that water has, submitted as a Fighting Style. That kind of perk definitely wouldn't be allowed for a Custom anything, and especially CFS, because as mentioned it defeats the entire purpose of this system.

This highlights and further compounds the issue of the fact there is no substance for an actual style here. One of the basic requirements for a Fighting Style is an actual style, an identity. Whether that's something you make up, or borrowed or even stolen from an existing martial art, all CFS need something in this area, or they can simply be achieved as Custom Jutsu, as there is nothing that separates the two. So while you go into extreme detail of how you achieve Mistfist using Tenketsu and pores on skin for secreting sweat, when it comes to detailing any physical motions or actions that may separate this from flailing and performing the Hiding in Mist technique, there's nothing. That stuff doesn't matter. Shinobi can fire lakes of water out of their mouths, which completely goes against any real logic, so fixating on pores and Tenketsu does nothing here. You don't need to go into extreme scientific detail, because that isn't what matters when you make a CFS. This is clear when looking at the example techniques, as you mention "motions" once in the first example technique, and then bank off of that for the next two. Looking at them even closer, there's no damage listed, making the lack of substance even more clear. At best as it currently is this style is for stacking debuffs on the opponent while you do other stuff, which isn't what CFS are intended to be.

It probably sounds like semantics or nitpicking, but it's a vital part of the Fighting Style system we have. Lets say two people make cloth-based CFS at the exact same time that apply debuffs to the opponent via Fuinjutsu, with the main intent being to suppress their both their physical actions and their Chakra flow. One simply uses Chakra to manipulate cloths that ensnare and bind people with no further context or description, while the other is based on Eraserhead from Hero Academia, and manipulates their cloth in tandem with grapples and holds. They both do virtually the same thing, but which one sounds like it more accurately fits the description of a "Fighting Style"? The second one, right? There are other concerns you can address, such as why your own mist doesn't affect your vision, or why it allows you to keep track of your opponent to even attack them in the first place, because simply saying it contains your Chakra doesn't automatically allow for a passive sensory ability, even if implied. You mention that you are unaffected by the First Kata as you move it out of your way, and okay that makes sense, but what about your own techniques?

Overall, give it more identity and more of a purpose beyond simply being a negative stat stick to hit your opponent with.

Background:

Verg Avesta, alternately known as Falsely Transcribed Creation, is a style embodying the idea that all living things are inherently evil. In ancient times, a small village community had pledged themselves to the worship of a deity, Ahura Mazda, who was the creator deity in the scriptures of Avesta, and a spirit of wisdom and goodness. His opposite, Angra Mainyu, was a destructive spirit of evil and malice. Those villagers were faced with a choice; to worship him, thus becoming pure and good like he, or to shun him and fall to darkness. For them, the spirit was a canvas upon which the colours of good and evil were painted. And just as the body was the vessel that housed one's spirit, it too was a surface upon which good or evil could be transcribed.

As troubled times continued to fall upon the village, be it by famine or natural disaster, its inhabitants became desperate. The hardship that plagued their village came from things which held no agency, they were not good or evil, they simply were. But for those villagers, who believed themselves righteous and pure, they took it as being punishment that was undeserved. They needed a scapegoat to be designated a demon whose existence was the reason for the village's mounting calamities. They chose a quiet youth, taking him from the streets during the day as he wandered aimlessly. They captured him, beat him, carved every word that cursed mankind onto his body, forced every sin imaginable upon him, took out bits and pieces of him slowly, defiled his mind with absolute evil, and held him responsible for all of it in the world. They would not allow him to die until he succumbed to old age. At first, he only hated the ones around him; those responsible for his suffering. And then, over time, he began to hate everything. His hatred became a natural function, rather than an emotion, and his very being was now synonymous with evil; All the World's Evils.

The name and life of that youth is unrecorded in any book, scroll, or archive. The village where he once lived no longer exists. All that remains of that place, that era, that tragedy, is a tablet known as the Verg Avesta.​

Description on the Abilities and Inner Workings of the Style:

The two areas that form the basis for Verg Avesta are Yin Release and Fūinjutsu. Yin Release forms the skeleton for the style for two reasons; the first being its ability to create form from nothing, and its ability to interact with both the mind and spirit through the body. The user produces constructs of chakra from their body, taking on the form of highly flexible black ribbons with red outlines. Because they are made through Yin Release, their state of matter can be created and shifted between tangible or intangible. Due to their inherently spiritual nature, they're capable of interacting with other spiritual techniques and entities regardless of their state of matter.

These chakra-constructed ribbons, which are present throughout all techniques of Verg Avesta, carry a mentally polluting curse resembling the effect of Yin Release: Hands of Sloth, which is delivered on contact with a target, this curse being known as All the World's Evils. Where Hands of Sloth simply erodes a target's sense of self and places them in a vegetative state, the curse of All the World's Evil instead turns them aggressive, transforming them into a malignant, destructive entity that is slave to the user's will. This transformation is not only mental in nature, but physical as well. One's skin grows pale, their eyes turn yellow, and red veins become visible on their body. The curse takes time to be applied, requiring two turns of uninterrupted contact or three separate instances of contact between a target and a technique. While All the World's Evils binds a target's will to the user, their personality is still left relatively intact. In the context of the curse’s effect, eligible targets include other biographies, summons, Yin-Yang Creations and other sentient entities. While the user is producing the black ribbons of the style, their features will shift to resemble the appearance of those who are affected by the curse. Though the user is functionally impervious to All the World’s Evils, it being their own curse, the mentally-polluting effect will still turn their personality darker and more aggressive.

The second component of Verg Avesta, Fūinjutsu, serves two purposes. The first takes full advantage of the sealing characteristics of Fūinjutsu, turning the ribbon constructs of the style into a sealing medium of sorts. Once a target has been fully subjected to All the World's Evils, that target can be sealed within the ribbons themselves, appearing as if it were sinking into a dark sea of shadows. At any point, the target can be released from the ribbons, bringing them to the field in a manner akin to summoning an incarnated soul through Edo Tensei. The second purpose of Fūinjutsu's incorporation into Verg Avesta allows the user to incorporate the All the World’s Evils curse into their other sealing techniques. For example, applying the curse to a barrier technique would give it the ability to afflict the curse through physical contact.​

While similar to the mentally-debilitating effect of the Hands of Sloth in terms of behaviour, All the World's Evils functions slightly differently. Where the Hands of Sloth progressively weakens a target with successive instances of contact, All the Worlds Evils causes a target to become more offensively-oriented, in line with the curse's pollution of their mind. For example, rather than focus on healing themselves or otherwise undoing any damage or debilitating effect(s) sustained in battle, a target will continue to attack the enemy, even going so far as recklessly endangering themselves in order to do so (e.g. getting caught within a technique's area of effect). Their ability to perform complex thought is also hindered, preventing them from breaking Genjutsu in a single timeframe slot.

Once the curse is applied through physical contact, it will alter the target's mind over time, the rate at which this occurs varying depending on the rank of the technique used to apply the curse. For F-Rank techniques, when the curse is at its strongest, it takes two turns for the curse to completely subjugate a target, and for every subsequent descending rank, this duration increases by one turn (e.g. S-Rank; three turns, A-Rank; four turns, etc.). The turn in which the curse is inflicted counts as the first turn of the curse's progression. If the curse is not broken within the final turn, then the target will be fully contaminated by All the World's Evils.
In the context of the curse’s effect, eligible targets include other biographies, summons, Yin-Yang Creations and other sentient entities. The curse itself lasts for ten turns once fully applied to a target, with the effects dissipating thereafter, though this does not include turns in which targets are kept sealed within the ribbons. The curse cannot be extended once applied, though the user is capable of lifting it at anytime. At any given time, up to four targets can be enthralled by All the World's Evils.

To counteract All the World's Evils, one must purge it from the body by flushing their chakra system via full body surge, which can only be done via techniques from Yin-Yang Release and Anutu, their components and Senjutsu of equivalent strength to the technique used to apply the curse. Although, once the curse reaches full effect it cannot be broken or forcibly released.


While the user is producing the black ribbons of Verg Avesta, their features will shift to resemble the appearance of those who are affected by the curse. Akuma no Ashiato - Devil's Footprints
Type: Nintaijutsu
Background: The Devil's Footprints is a nintaijutsu fighting style primarily made of kicks enhanced by katon jets from the soles to create propulsion and thrust in order to increase force.

Description on the Abilities and Inner Workings of the Style: The Devil Footprints fighting style is a leg based nintaijutsu involved around igniting, controlling, and utilizing katon in one's feet to create an increase in acceleration. The fighting style gets it name from the ash footprints left behind by the user after using the technique. This style differs from regular fire based nintaijutsu because it doesnt simply coat the limbs in fire when striking. The thrust created by the katon coming the practitioner's feet is used to increase the velocity and acceleration of one's kicks which in turn increases the force and power of the kicks. Practitioners are also known to use Devil's Footprint's by creating thrust mid-kick to create a sudden burst of kicking speed to catch their foes off guard. In order to mold their katon chakra with such precision, the users often employ the use of a unique hand seal called the Devil's Handseal. While like other handseals that normally require two hands coming together to make, this handseal requires the use perform the sign of the horns in both hands separately.

Description: After weaving the tiger and Devils handseal, the user gathers Katon chakra in their feet and releases it in a burst through their feet soles. This concentrated thrust grants the user an exponential boost in speed and allows them to fly in a straight line up to mid. Description: The Hellfire jutsu is the most powerful technique of the Devil's Footprints style. The user first performs the Rapid technique to make a beeline dash into a powerful double leg kick into their target. Once the user has planted their feet onto their target, they weave a unique hand seal called the devils seal and gather and mold katon chakra into the soles of their feet. The user then shoots darkened dense katon flames from their feet in the shape of a demon's head, trapping and burning anyone caught inside the demon's jaws as it chomps on an enemy before creating a massive explosion directed mid range away from the user. Due to the precise control the user can direct explosion away from himself, however the intense heat of the flames burns the users feet making them unable to perform Devil's Footprints techniques for 2 turns.

Additional effects and Restrictions: The thrusts used in the Devil's Footprints techniques increases the speed of the users taijutsu or relevant body movement by 2x if and when enhanced by the katon thrusters. If the a practitioner specializes in the Devil Footprint's technique, their katon techniques can be performed after weaving the Devil's Handseal.

Among other things, this would conflict with Nine Arts Dragon, as it's virtually the same concept but for Fire Release. There are also many Custom Jutsu that achieve this exact thing too, such as Yume's old Fire Dragon Slayer techniques. Nothing here that is unique or would separate it from it's contemporaries. Without something unique, it can't be approved.

Background: During the reign of Tobirama Senju the Second Hokage, members of the Uchiha clan began growing increasingly jealous (for lack of a better word) of the Taijutsu prowess of Konoha’s own Hyuuga clan. Their Gentle Fist style and Doujutsu showed exceptional capability, and this truck fear into the hearts of the proud Uchiha clan. With fear on their hearts that they, the great Uchiha clan of the Leaf would soon be overshadowed by the lesser Hyuuga, they began developing their own fighting style to combat the Gentle Fist. This fighting style included the use of the fire element, which they were known to have exceptional mastery over, earning it the title of NinTaijutsu. The new fighting style allowed those of the Uchiha clan to coat their own bodies in protective “blankets” of fire chakra in order to defend from the close range attacks of those their enemies. As it served as a powerful defense, it also serves as a hot offense.

Although it was originally meant to stay within the Uchiha clan, on one unfortunate night, a member of the clan was stolen away from his home, by shinobi from Kumogakure in an attempt to steal the Sharingan. The kidnapped clansmen fought hard, defeating many of the shinobi with this fighting style, which they have never been exposed to and therefore were unable to effectively defend. Before being overwhelmed by sheer numbers and being captured, the shinobi of the leaf committed suicide in order to protect the style, and the Sharingan from falling into enemy hands (He destroyed his Sharingan as well). Several years later, the Uchiha clan was massacred and thought to be gone along with their style, but this was not the case. Few members of Konoha still use the style, having been taught by their former allies, the Uchiha (Before their elimination of course). The style is now only passed on to those who are deemed worthy and taught by a master of the style.

Description on the Abilities and Inner Workings of the Style: Satan’s Flame is a unique custom style that emphasizes on the student flowing vast amount of chakra towards any point in their bodies. This chakra specifically being of the fire elemental nature, is swiftly guided to their limbs. This allows the user to engulf the selected areas in bright fiery flames, usually orange – red. Specialists of the style have exhibited a rare, yet cosmetic trait of showing blue fire instead of the usual orange – red coloration. The physical strikes of the user are vastly increased, accompanied by them striking with the intended limb, while also quite literally burning the target as well on impact. The style also has a Bukijutsu portion, in which the user’s bladed weapons on their person are capable of also being engulfed in the immensely powerful flames in order to strike others as well.

While I can sympathize with the desire to rework this to remove the Mode aspect considering the Mode and State update, I have issue with just how much this Fighting Style has, and will change if approved. Disregarding the fact that updates and resubmission's for Fields like Custom Elements and Fighting Styles are supposed to be rare occurrences and mostly allowed for the addition, not change, of a CFS Specialization Perk, this Fighting Style has gone from Fire + Taijutsu to Fire + Taijutsu + Kenjutsu to now Fire + Taijutsu + Bukijutsu. This is literally no longer the same Fighting Style you submitted in 2012, and with every change and addition it would need to be reevaluated how it conflicts with other Customs or how they conflict with it. It's a very scary premise, allowing one to submit a relatively contained Field, then allow them to slowly encompass more and more potential applications within that Field through updates. You started with a niche, and are slowly turning it into a monopoly, even if not intentionally, and I don't think that's something anyone should be allowed to do.

Background:Mixing all of their abilities Zisho and Rize founded this fighting style as a representation of themselves. Parasite Paracide utilizes quick and precise attacks pinpointing an opponents vitals to absorb his chakra straight from the source. Once skin contact is made the user forcefully fuses with the opponent Through the effects of his kekkai genkai while coated in storm release , absorbing much more chakra than average.

The style focuses on maximizing chakra absorption by fusing the abilities of his kekkai genkai and storm release to allow absorption through taijutsu. The user spends chakra to coat his hands and feet in storm release, hiding them in black stormy clouds that absorb chakra from techniques and opponents by touch. Once skin contact is made the user fuses with the opponent through his kekkai genkai, allowing his storm chakra to flow into the body and absorb more chakra then normal.

Description on the Abilities and Inner Workings of the Style: The styles main application is both offensive and supplementary the effects of which allow the user to absorb chakra far more deeply than normal thanks to it's forceful fusion, Granting a -20 more chakra absorbed from direct contact with the opponent.

- The attacks from this style steals it's rank equivalent in chakra from the opponent or opposing techniques.Once all chakra is absorbed from a technique it disperses/crumbles away.

-The style focuses on mastery of his AE granting him better control. +10 Elemental damage

-For those who choose this as their CFS specialty Parasite Paracide may absorb extra chakra one rank above the move used due to mastering the intricicys of the style.

This isn't a Fighting Style. Aside from the vague mention of quick and precise pinpoint strikes in the Background, which isn't where stuff like that goes, there's no mention of any kind of style to this. You have a result you want to achieve, and the method is by combining your KG and AE, but that's not a style. This simply reads as a list of boosts you want, and are presented as a list of passives for your Chakra Absorption. And while we're on the subject, let's break them down.
  • Additional -20 Chakra absorbed per direct interaction with an opponent.
  • Attacks from the style absorb the same amount of Chakra for their Rank.
  • +10 to "Elemental damage".
  • Specialization in the Fighting Style increases absorption by 1 Rank.
First of all, the third states Elemental damage, so does that mean every Element even though the reasoning behind it is an AE? That doesn't make sense. Why does you having Mastery over your AE result in an undefined "Elemental" bonus? Next is the fourth effect. One additional Rank for specialization. Let's assume you specialize in this Fighting Style, and continue. The first adds an additional -20 to any absorption you perform that specifically targets the opponent, not even explicitly stated to be limited to the Fighting Style. Okay. So +1 Rank, and an additional 20 on physical contact. Next is the third, making every technique from the Fighting Style absorb the exact same amount of Chakra as is in a technique for the Rank of that technique.

Run that all up, and you get a really nice list of bonuses. So let's do a hypothetical with your example technique. B-Rank, which is immediately boosted to A-Rank absorption thanks to the specialization perk. On top of that, you get an additional -20 on contact, so for only 20 Chakra, you are potentially regaining 50. If the opponent tries to defend themselves, unless they are performing a technique with 40 - 60 Chakra minimum, the latter which just happens to be the basic cap on techniques within the RP with a boosted Forbidden Rank, their defense would fail. Do you see the issue here? This is inherently broken, and that is with only a B-Rank. You are virtually unstoppable if you perform an S-Rank (with it's absorption boosted to Forbidden) with an effective 70 Chakra absorption, and would recover 50 - 70 Chakra, provided your attacks land. If allowed, you would literally be incapable of running out of Chakra, at least on paper. In actual combat the results would depend on the opponent you're fighting and so on, but as is, this is too much. Tone down the list of passives, because the sheer amount you have won't be allowed. The techniques absorbing the same amount of Chakra for their Rank, and the absorption being automatically boosted one Rank in effectiveness are especially concerning. Dark Release doesn't allow both offensive and absorption at the same time, and as far as I'm aware there aren't any Fuinjutsu that do that either. This is because, unless someone completely overpowers your techniques, they are effectively doing nothing except give you more Chakra. Also look into a more defined style so this can actually be considered a Custom Fighting Style, and not a collection of abilities and passives you potentially aren't allowed to achieve elsewhere.

In the Age of Gods there was one warrior who stood heads and shoulders above all other in the battle against Tiamat and her endless spawn. Originally a simple cattle herder, he was given a choice. Spend the rest of his days in mindless peace, or become one of Marduk's chosen, an immortal instrument of justice whose life was severe yet glorious. Acting as a front line combatant against the forces of the Primordial Goddess, this warrior, (Ἀλκείδης) Alcides went on to overcome many labors, utilizing a style of his own creation to completely and utterly overwhelm all who stood against him. Despite his strength, he met his end the same way many warriors do; In glorious combat, surrounded by his comrades. Thanks to him they emerged victorious from the battle and went go on to spread the tale of the mighty Heracles far and wide. This was the public intent anyway, however there was another behind the dissemination of the mighty warrior's tale; To pass on the knowledge of his Power, to become the , the "One with all the Power".​

Description on the Abilities and Inner Workings of the Style

Sacrifice is composed of two parts, one being the basic mechanics and inner workings of the style and the applications it employs, while the other is the physical style those applications are deployed through. The first component is the Physical style of Sacrifice, Pankration, a fighting style from time immemorial which means "One with All the Power". Pankration is a mixed martial art which combines boxing and wresting, but in regards to this style specifically it is composed of violent, borderline inhuman actions with a complete disregard for ones own condition. This becomes most apparent in a certain mindset wherein one will do anything to land a successful blow, including intentionally taking an attack land their own. Next are the inner workings of Sacrifice, which are split into four parts; Gaining Access to Life, Defining how Life works, Applications of Sacrifice and finally the Drawbacks of using Sacrifice.​
Firstly this Fighting Style utilizes a unique Kinjutsu technique based on "(Kinjutsu: Kishō Tensei) - Forbidden Technique: One's Own Life Reincarnation" which combined Kinjutsu and Medical Ninjutsu to allow for the transfer of all of one's life force to another using Chakra as a medium. Through this the user can heal almost any injury, and even bring the dead back to life, but at great personal cost, resulting in the user's death. Sacrifice takes the basic principal of "One's Own Life", and discards the combination with Medical Ninjutsu and focus on healing, and instead grants the user access to the sum total of their life force to manipulate and expend, which they combine with Taijutsu to utilize in combat. This is achieved through the first technique in the Fighting style, a Kinjutsu technique which shares the name of the Fighting Style; "(Kinjutsu: Gisei) Forbidden Technique: Sacrifice". Upon activation the technique consumes a massive amount of the user's Chakra, which irreversibly unlocks the latent potential within the user. This is classified as Kinjutsu as it falls under both the first and second type of Kinjutsu; those that cause irreparable damage or death to the user, and those that violate the laws of nature. In the former the effects of this fighting style go beyond simple recoil damage or hindering effects, and cause permanent, nigh irreparable or irreversible damage to the user's body, while for the latter the user is intentionally subverting a universal law that governs their body's natural life cycle.​
Upon performing "(Kinjutsu: Gisei) Forbidden Technique: Sacrifice", the user gains access to their life energy which is intrinsically linked to one's Health. At any given moment the user is restricted by an upper limit of Health, maxing out at 200 for a Sage. A user's health cannot exceed this limit without external or additional methods and sources, and is their peak physical condition at any given point in their lives. If injured they recover to this point and no further, however through Sacrifice one gains access to a separate pool that constitutes their entire life. This "Life" pool is equivalent to 10x their health, and is essentially what would be expended over the course of their entire lives. Life is separate from, but intrinsically linked to Health. A loss to one's life doesn't immediately have an effect on one's Health, but a loss of Health means an immediate loss in Life. Life only starts to affect health once the two overlap. Healing lost health in combat does not recover lost Life, as any loss in Life is permanent, unless recovered through specific applications of the Fighting Style itself, or natural regeneration. As such, users of Sacrifice can still be killed or knocked out under normal circumstances if their health reaches zero, even if they have Life remaining. Finally the user is required to calculate changes to their Life just as they do for their Health and Chakra.​
Once the user gains access to their Life, they can perform the other techniques within this Fighting Style. As stated the user expends their Life not Chakra to perform Sacrifice's techniques, and this is reflected within the Fighting Style's techniques, replacing the "Chakra" aspect of the standard template with "Life". Sacrifice presents itself in a number of applications that the style employs. Naturally these applications will be elaborated upon in more detail within the Fighting Style's individual techniques, and are as follows;​

The most basic application comes as a result of the user's ability to control how much Life they sacrifice for a technique, with the user determining a length of their lifespan and condensing it into a single action or series of actions to achieve increased capabilities. For example if the user were to take all the Life that constituted a year of their life and placed it behind a single punch, that punch would contain all the physical attributes of that sacrificed time period, resulting in an incredibly potent attack, whereas if the user were to do the same for an hour of their lifespan and condense it down over several seconds, they would gain a relatively weaker application, but conversely is far more sustainable in the long run.​
A more advanced application which utilizes Life's connection with Health, this allows the user to restore the latter at the cost of the former. In essence the user utilizes Sacrifice to "fast forward" through the natural healing process of the body by aging themselves to a point in their life where the wound is healed. Naturally this wouldn't allow for more advanced forms of healing, such as replacing lost limbs, and would only allow one to recover lost Health, and close open wounds, etc. As mentioned above, a loss to Health also means a loss to Life, making this application an incredibly costly method of sustaining oneself as Life is reduced by the damage taken, then again by the expense and subsequent recovery. This application can be extended to the consumption of the user's personal Life to heal others, but requires direct contact and time to perform. This application can also be reversed allowing the user to siphon Life from other targets but in these cases, as they are not practitioners of Sacrifice and therefor don't have access to their Life, the target's max Life is determined by their max Health.​
Finally, the most advanced application is the one that most accurately represents the Fighting Style's namesake. Sacrificial Strikes are techniques wherein the user pushes the Fighting Style to the extreme, and sacrificing all Life from a specific part of the body, such as expending all life in one of their arms to perform a punch with cataclysmic damage. The end result of this is the permanent loss of function in that part, as any life it once held and would ever hold for the rest of their life was expended in a single burst. These attacks carry the side effect that their use cannot be healed by any external means, not even through Yang Release. This is in spite of the field's renowned ability to heal virtually any injury, as the target must be alive for it to work. As these strikes rely upon the complete consumption of a targeted part's Life in it's entirety, that part of their body is dead for all intents and purposes, even if the user themselves remains alive.​
Finally Sacrifice doesn't come without a price. As the user is essentially trading away their future for short bursts and windows of increased attributes and other various effects, this inversely affects them to the same degree. This causes the user to suffer effects that range from temporary to prolonged fatigue, gradually increasing in severity with the potency of the attacks and techniques they perform, leading to rapid aging, and eventually death. In some cases these drawbacks are cosmetic, however individual techniques will carry their own restrictions, the potency of which is determined by the strength of the usage.​

Description: The user gathers an extreme amount of Chakra throughout their entire body, and utilizes it to perform the Forbidden Technique: Sacrifice. The gathered Chakra is expended to "activate" the latent energy within every cell in the body, effectively acting as a "limit remover". Upon activation the user gains access to an additional pool of energy from which they can utilize the techniques of the Sacrifice Fighting Style. This "Life Pool", so named because it encompasses the entirety of the life force that constitutes their entire lives, is equivalent to 10x their Health Pool. If the user has sustained any damage, this damage is reflected in their Life Pool as straight deductions, even if the user has recovered lost Health. Once activated this technique cannot be undone, and remains active for the remainder of the fight it is utilized within. Upon activation the user's body can adopt a cosmetic change, primarily composed of a red aura, their skin becoming a deep shade of red, or streaks of yellow, orange and reddish lightning emitting from their form. This technique can be applied to the users Biography, and active from the start of battle. In this case the Chakra from this technique is deducted from their starting total.

(Gisei: Hyakusen Renma) Sacrifice: Experiences of a Hundred Battles

Description: The most basic application of Sacrifice, the user expends a relatively small amount of Life, and performs a physical action, or series of actions. That action/ those actions are reinforced with the strength, speed and durability of the Life channeled into them. This results in the action(s) damage scaling accordingly, but also increases the speed and durability of the user's action(s), causing their attacks to be performed at +1, +2 and +3 their base speed, and with B-Rank, A-Rank, and S-Rank durability for their bodies during said actions, allowing them to. Because of it's freeform nature, the user can incorporate Hyakusen Renma into any physical style they know, allowing the physical aspect of other techniques from other Fighting Styles and schools to be performed through Sacrifice, within reason.

Note: A-Rank applications require a 1 turn cooldown, S-Rank applications require a 2 turn cooldown before the next use of that Rank. Additionally the user suffers -2 or -3 base speed next turn in the form of fatigue from an A-Rank or S-Rank application respectively.

(Gisei: Nana Korobi Ya Oki) Sacrifice: Fall Seven Times, Rise Eight

Description: A purely supplementary application of Sacrifice, this technique can only be performed when the user has sustained a loss to their health. Through a manipulation of their Life, the user consumes their future to preserve the present. This allows the user to recover any lost Health, up to their max Health, by consuminh that same amount from their Life. While this allows the user to recover any lost health, regardless of the type of damage inflicted (Physical, Spiritual, Recoil, etc), it can quickly consume the user's Life, as it is also lowered with Damage, as per the Life rules within the Fighting Style's submission. Through direct contact, this technique can be applied to others, following the same conversion rate, but takes one full turn to achieve.

Note: Can only be activated once every 3 turns.
Note: Can be used a max of 5 times per battle.

(Gisei: Gaishū Isshoku) Sacrifice: Armour-Sleeved Single Strike

Description: One of the strongest techniques within Sacrifice, Gaishū Isshoku is a Sacrificial Strike, one of few techniques that take the very concept of "sacrifice" to it's absolute limit. The user gathers an incredible quantity of Life within one of their arms and performs a single punch. The amount of Life behind the strike is equivalent to every last ounce of Life held within their arm, which creates a devastating punch, worthy of being called "Kinjutsu", however the recoil from this technique is great. Once the punch is complete the user's arm immediately dies, turning a blackish purple and preventing use for the rest of the current fight/ arc. It cannot be healed by any means, including Medical Ninjutsu, Yang Release, etc, except if the user is able to recover an equivalent amount of Life from an external source.

Note: Can only be used once per battle/ arc.

Additional effects and Restrictions:

Due to the user's familiarity with damaging themselves through this style, they gain a resistance to recoil damage. As a result any and all recoil the user receives from their own techniques is halved. This excludes Sacrifice techniques, as they aren't classified as Recoil.

Background: This fighting style was invented by the brothers in order to utilize every inch of the blade including the sheath to both defend and attack in the same instant. To start the user must wield a blade in one hand and a sheath in another, the blade is used exclusively for attacking while the sheath is primarily used for defending from techniques. When the user can perceive an attack coming he uses his sheath to completely block or slap away incoming damage, should his blocking technique have damage value left over it will be translated to an attack with his blade in that same instant (only if the opponent is within range.)


Instead of fully stopping a technique, users of this style can instead opt to redirect an attack just enough for it to miss the user and let the opposing momentum move it away. The style mostly revolves around blocking techniques but does incorporate offensive moves with the blade.






Description on the Abilities and Inner Workings of the Style:
-Defensive and supplementary techniques are this styles primary goal, allowing the user to attack in the same instant he defends if his defensive technique has left over value.

- The user defends with his sheath by directing attacks away from himself withought fully blocking the damage resulting in -20 damage to opposing techniques if they are physical/energy based in nature. (Cannot effect spiritual based techniques)



-For those who choose this as their CFS specialty they gain +10 to Sword technique customs to signify their familiarity with the blade aswell as the more intense training done compared to regular practitioners.

As discussed a while ago, I believe the CFS needs an update in order to quantity the effects it can achieve and what its specialty does.

Sound Propulsion | Oto Suishin

Type:
NinGenTaijutsu

Background: Upon overusing the sound element and becoming too accustomed to it, Barney decided to come up with something new and more unique than what the actual element offered him. Being also well known as a genjutsu user, Barney figured that he could try and incorporate the ability into his new style that he called Oto Suishin. Oto Suishin revolves around using high pressure soundwaves in order to propulse oneself and to increase momentum. After a certain amount of trying and combining different movements and techniques, the fighting style finally started looking like something. Barney could execute swift and easy moves in the most unpredictable ways by simply ejecting high pressure soundwaves out of his tenketsu. This was an obvious breath taker but Barney wasn't satisfied. Something was missing in his mind and he wanted to push it further. This led him to using the ejected high pressure soundwaves as mediums for inducing genjutsu. Just a glance of an unaware opponent and Barney would burst forth leaving a silhouette behind him, tricking his opponent into different realities. This was the moment when Barney was finally happy with his product and felt it was worthy of being shown publicly.

Description on the Abilities and Inner Workings of the Style: Sound is a mechanical wave that results from the back and forth vibration of the particles of the medium through which the sound wave is moving. Since a sound wave consists of a repeating pattern of high-pressure and low-pressure regions moving through a medium, it is sometimes referred to as a pressure wave. The main indicator of the pressure which a soundwave produces is the frequency, meaning that higher frequencies will produce more pressure when expelled. Using this theorem it is safe to assume that a very high frequency soundwave will be able to produce a sufficient amount of pressure to increase or reduce momentum, depending on the existent trajectory of the moving limb/body part and the direction in which the soundwave is expelled.

As already mentioned, Sound Propulsion revolves around using those very soundwaves to increase or reduce ones own momentum which can also be referred to as propulsion. What the soundwaves allow the user is very unpredictable movement by creating momentum out of, apparently, nothing. Of course it's not actually nothing but rather the users own chakra that initiates the soundwave. This allows the user to perform quick lunges, position shifts, stronger punches with increased momentum and even increased mid-air maneuverability. The soundwaves can be expelled from any tenketsu of his body, in any desired direction, giving the user the ability to fine tune his actions and movements and to easily fight his opponents. Using the same principle behind increasing momentum, the user can decrease it to slow down his movement and to even stop it completely. This allows him to even slow down opponents strikes in very limited situations, mostly before imminent collision, to the point where they can be intercepted and exploited.

An example scenario for increasing momentum to show how exactly I see it working. I would charge at my opponent and prepare to punch him with my hand. When I'm close enough I would expel the soundwave out of my elbow, in the opposite direction of where I want my arm to go. Assuming that my shoulder is the center of rotation and the fixation point, once the soundwave is ejected in the opposite direction of my intended movement then my hand would burst forward with increased momentum resulting in a stronger as well as unpredictable punch.​

A simple explanation of the process behind the propulsion.​

In case I want to slow down my momentum I would follow the same principle but by expelling the soundwave from my fist instead of my elbow. This would result in slowing down my already existing momentum and stopping my hand from moving forward. There is also a useful application of the built up pressure. Although not solid it can be felt and present itself as an obstacle. This application would also be used in order to slow an opponents punch if we were to, for example, simultaneously punch our fists. As our fists are about to collide I would expel the soundwave from my fist and create a "cushion" of high pressure that would slow both our movements; mine because of the previously mentioned reasons and the opponents because the high pressure buildup would present itself as an obstacle for the opponent, thus requiring more force to break through it. This could essentially be used to stop the opponents movement and then for example use the other hand or other means to exploit that advantage.​

Now that the very basic workings of the style are explained we can touch the genjutsu ability. Basically, once the soundwave is expelled, it leaves behind a transparent but still visible trace. Since this soundwave is fueled with the users chakra he would use the remains of it to create very basic visual illusions. They would be very simple and used only for tricking the opponents eyesight without impairing any of his abilities to continue the battle. Stronger and experienced opponents wouldn't have problems with the illusions because it is quite easy to distinguish them and to see the clear image of the whole situation.

An example of both the propulsion an genjutsu ability in use. I would charge at my opponent with the intention to kick him with my foot. Once in range I would expel the soundwave from my foot, thus propelling my leg into my opponent with increased momentum. As my leg moves from its previous position it leaves a trace of the soundwave and as the opponent sees it the illusion activates, using the remains of the expelled chakra to disturb his chakra flow. What he opponent would see it the users body and its movement while he would also see a "fake" limb left behind, making it seem as if the users leg moved in a blur.​

The illusion that the opponent would see wouldn't differ much from this illusion except that there wouldn't be so many limbs but only one, in the previous position where the users limb was.​

Depending on the techniques and complexity of the movements, the genjutsu ability won't always be possible, thus the user can compromise between raw and strong propulsions with the genjutsu ability and fine tuned movements without the ability of casting the genjutsu.

Quantified, these propulsions can achieve moderate displacements of body parts measured in centimeters, usually ranging from 10-100, unless otherwise stated in the techniques themselves. In the case of full body propulsions, they can take the user in the desired direction up to 5 meters in distance, unless otherwise stated in the techniques themselves. The speed at which these momentary propulsions happen is equal the users current speed increased by half of the technique's innate speed, which for example on a B rank Sound propulsion technique (10) would be a momentary +5 to the users current speed in order to perform the propulsion in the desired direction.

Due to the high pressure the opponent would need more force to execute his movements thus he risks to be caught in a disadvantageous position.

Additional effects and Restrictions:
A Sound Propulsion specialist will have slightly increased reflexes due to the body being accustomed to the momentary propulsions and position shifts, which is achieved through extensive training and specialization. He will also have greater general perception because a wrongly executed propulsion could cost him his life. He is of a calm and composed demeanor and always with his guard held up. He is always observing the situations and calculating his propulsions for the best possible outcome. Other than that, unpredictability of his movements when using Sound Propulsion is one of the key features.

Quantified, having his guard always up means that those who chose Sound Propulsion as their CFS specialty get to replace this specialty with the Dispatch specialty.

Regular eyes (non-dojutsu) would have slight difficulty distinguishing the user and his limbs from the illusionary ones created by the expelled soundwaves. Dojutsu users (sharingan, byakugan, rinnegan) as well as highly skilled taijutsu users (Taijutsu masters, EIG masters) wouldn't have problems distinguishing the real user and his movements and intentions because of their expertise in martial arts and close quarter combat. Taijutsu specialists will also be able to effectively counter the movements, albeit with somewhat slightly higher difficulty.

To be able to learn Sound Propulsion, one has to complete Sound, Genjutsu and Taijutsu training as well as be of Jounin rank. Training is performed exclusively by McRazor.

Update Declined: Not going to allow you have a CFS that innately allow you to have the dispatch specialty up if you choose this as your CFS specialty since this would technically allow you to have two extra specialty slots. The idea of scaling speed with based on rank of your technique is cool and all but I'm not gonna allow all the propulsion techniques in the CFS to have a flat rate at which they increase your speed even momentarily. I'd rather you update the CFSJ individually to state how much they boost the speed by. Also saying "current speed" has to obviously apply by the speed stacking rules. I.e. If you have an active speed boost already applied, your propulsion won't add on to your speed (the higher boost takes effect) - Daemon

When the Pandaren were subjugated by the Mogu centuries ago, it was the Monks that brought hope to a seemingly dim future. Restricted from using weapons by their slave masters, these pandaren instead focused on harnessing their chakra and learning weaponless combat. When the opportunity for revolution struck, they were well-trained to throw off the yoke of oppression. Whatever their combat role, monks rely mainly on their hands and feet to do the talking, and on strong connection with their inner chakra to power their abilities. Abilities such as Expel Harm and Chakra Wave both heal their allies while at the same time damaging their enemies.
Masters of bare-handed combat, monks never rely solely on the need to have a weapon in their hands to defend against their enemies. Although most widely known to the outside world for their fearsome jabs and flying kicks, they refuse to limit themselves to a single method of combat. After relentlesstly studying medical ninjutsu, students learn every aspect about the body from pressure points, effects of various medicines, even learning the fastest and most effective way to recover from their own injuries. Medical Ninja are usually the last to enter combat, however famous medical shinobi such as Tsunade and Sakura have shown that medical ninjutsu has more than just a healing capacity, being able to be used in an offensive way such as Chakra enhanced strength. This style focuses more on the other various aspects of Medical ninjutsu that can greatly enhance taijutsu in other ways than chakra control.
This is how Fistweaving works, by 'weaving' medical chakra while performing taijutsu to ones advantage.

Being able to manipulate their tenketsu isnt to allow for greater chakra flow but to slow it down. The ability to incorporate medical ninjutsu into ones arsenal is a great feat, and those that master it can even use it along side their close combat as explained above. After learning and mastering medical ninjutsu, one starts to explore and incorporate it into strikes, learning just how long it takes to gather the right amount of anaesthetic chakra to effectively disable an opponents limb, as well as learning just how long contact is maintained to increase the (turns) it is unusable. While in regular medical training, ninja learn the vital points of the body, where the tenketsu is located etc. When combined with taijutsu training that allows one to learn proper strikes to disable opponents, where to strike for greatest effect etc, one can combine these two forms to deliver devastating taijutsu with additional repercussions to the opponent should a blow land.
One such mastery is the ability to generate medical chakra almost instantly instead of the regular slow gather and concentration that is required for regular medical ninja. Because those that master this style have studied this advanced medical nintaijutsu, they have an increased heightened awareness of their body, even more so than regular medical shinobi. This allows them to have a stronger more durable body that increased the rate of their cell division, through sheer willpower alone.

While usually only Mystical medical palm is the only technique that can be used while simultaneously performing other techniques, those that specialize in Fistweaving can perform any medical technique while also performing taijutsu techniques even if both cost chakra. Alternatively, the user can choose to forego performing a taijutsu technique at the same time, and increase the potency of their healing to double their healing of their medical techniques instead of having a 1:2 dealing to chakra ratio.

Firstly as per Daemon's check on Goatxi's CFS check here multiple choice CFS specialties aren't allowed now, and the intent is to be more consistent. Can only have one from now on.
Second issue, the two that are there are just too much. The ability to use two Chakra techniques at the same time will likely never be allowed again, as even in it's current state not even Yin-Yang allows for this. The most that allows is manipulating multiple Elements at the same time, and either combining them for specific multi-Element techniques or performing them with rapid succession, but not the act of actually performing two at the same time. As for the second perk? The sheer numbers this could lead to are too much. x2 to every healing technique you have, passively? Need to tone this down, cause while the current Specialty Bonus is weak, this is a complete over correction.

Users that specialize in Fistweaving have a heightened regeneration, used to being in battle and constantly using medical techniques. This enhanced generation allows them to naturally heal up cuts, bruises and small injuries which translates to allowing them to regenerate 5 hp per turn. Should the user reach 0 hp in the NW, they also regenerate 5 additional 5hp per day.

He keep on thinking of different ways of making a style to use for his taijutsu skills. After three years of looking, he finally came a cross an idea. He knew of a man who could do amazing surgery. He wanted to get the man to do surgery on his arms and legs to install chain saw chains. From this idea, Chainsaw Arts was born.
Description on the Abilities and Inner Workings of the Style: The user must first undergo surgery to install the chain saw chains into the user's legs. The chains are control by chakra and rotate by chakra. The user can use these chains to increase the attack and defense where the chains are on the legs are increased to attack and defend.

This is like a rare gear to see. This gear is able to cut through A rank and below Kaguya techniques.

-When the user uses this style the user shoes and legs of their pants are cut by the chains so the rest of the battle the user is bare footed.

Updated the Additional Effects and Restrictions because they didn't make any type of sense and also useless things are posted in there also. Added has to be a Jounin. The extra chakra cost for the chains didn't make sense is the most important thing to take off of this CFS and not have on it.

Raijin no bōkō - Assault of the Thunder God

Background: Raijin no Boku, also known as the Assault of the Thunder God style, is a nintaijutsu primarily based around Lightning Release induced thunder. It combines basic components of Chakra Enhanced Strength and Blast Release

Description on the Abilities and Inner Workings of the Style: The Assault of the Thunder God Style is a primarily Lightning Release based nintaijutsu style. When using the style the practitioner coats their body primarily, but not exclusively to their fists and feet with Lightning Release chakra. When performing their taijutsu, right before impact, the user will use their Lightning Release to super heat the air around it to the point it rapidly expands. This phenomenon is known as Thunder. This nintaijutsu style differs from regular Lightning Release because the lightning release isn’t primarily used to enhance the user’s taijutsu with electrical, paralyzing, or speed enhancing effects. But instead to create thunder to smash the target with fast moving superheated air. Because of the focus on the thunder, the fighting style is quite loud.

This explosion is pretty deadly and hot enough to give 2 degree burns to the target but as well as the user since they are caught in the blast somewhat.


Additional effects and Restrictions: Due to the intimate knowledge and control over Lightning Release required to use and master the fighting style, a specialist's Lightning Release techniques receive a +20 damage boost.

(Hanayaka Kenjutsu) - Flamboyant Sword Arts

Background: Hanayaka Kenjutsu was developed by the fabled swordswoman Shiki, which the name of the style was given, not proclaimed by Shiki. The name of the style was granted by a demon who faced off against Shiki until he concluded the fight a stalemate after neither side showed any sign of slowing down or losing stride after a six week-long battle spanning from the Land of Iron, which Shiki was defending, all the way into the absolute heights of the Lightning Mountains. While putting up the greatest fight the demon had ever seen from a human in all of its eternal life, he left her to keep roaming the earth out of sheer respect and named her unique style for her and from there it was spread and feared throughout the land. “Shiki of the Hanayaka Kenjutsu”. During this battle, though, Shiki had lost her home and family, which left her to roam the Earth alone… But that’s a story for another time…

Description on the Abilities and Inner Workings of the Style: The style depicts two unique swords/katana in which the user should be adept in usage with or else they may lose some fingers in the process of learning. The swords have one hole/ring between the blade and hilt of the sword, allowing the user to spin the swords exceptionally fast around their finger(s), arm(s), etc. The main use of this style is the fact that practitioners of this style today, as well as Shiki herself, have advanced the style so greatly and made it so deadly to where when a technique is utilized with their style, it applies a bleed effect that differentiates in advantages and/or that worsens depending on the rank or description of the Hanayaka technique being used. Generally the higher ranked technique the higher the amount of bleed the user will inflict but this varies depending…

These kinds of cuts and blood loss is so severe that they cannot be healed outside of medicine or medical ninjutsu.

(Kōki no Sofu no Tokei) - Late Grandfather Clock

Description: The user is able to throw one of the blades after spinning it rapidly. The blade will stay spinning in a set location until the user motions it back in which case it will chop down anything in its path. Both throwing it and motioning it back count as a technique used in that turn, however, it does not have to be called back until the user is ready to call it. This can be done in the same turn, the turn after, or five turns from now. The rapidness of the blade’s spin as well as the speed of the throw makes this movement and the sword itself untrackable to the naked eye alone, making it a very tactical and very specialized technique. This bleed in particular can be healed with healing foam or any variation of healing foam.

Note: Usable twice per battle with a two turn cooldown after the throw and the motion back.


(Chikutaku) - Tick Tock

Description: Tick Tock is regarded as the more universal of the Hanayaka arts. The user simply spins their blades in their hands at a rapid pace and this can be used to deflect elemental ninjutsu of the same rank or attack an opponent, causing -5 damage per turn upon contact. However being that Tick Tock is not a bleed-focused technique as is Stealth Timeclock, it can be healed by any ordinary means (medical ninjutsu, yang healing, medicine, etc.). The cool thing about this jutsu, though, is that the user can constantly keep these blades spinning at the expense of 5 chakra per turn and continue to use their legs for things such as leg-based taijutsu or perhaps riding a bike. Whatever they choose. However, as this is going on, it counts as a technique used in that turn for as long as it is active, limiting how many techniques can be used in that turn (ex: can only use two techniques per turn while this technique is active). That being said, while this is active, this will allow the user to use Hanayaka arts with -10 chakra cost to whatever Hanayaka art they use or whatever kenjutsu technique they use in unison with the Hanayaka style in that turn that Tick Tock is activated.

Note: Can only be used to deflect elemental ninjutsu every other turn at the expense of a technique used in that turn. This can be done to deflect as many elemental techniques as needed that turn but only in that one turn.

Note: Handseals are unable to be used while Tick Tock is active.

Additional effects and Restrictions: When the style is being used, no handseals can be formed in the same turn being that the swords themselves require intricate handling which leaves the user focused on handling or spinning their blades. Users of this style can apply generic bleed effects to any kenjutsu or blade-based technique able to be done by a sword based on the rank of the technique in the form of the following (D rank = 5 damage applied per turn, C = 10 damage applied per turn, B = 15 damage applied per turn, A = 20 damage applied per turn, S = 25 damage applied per turn, F = 30 damage applied per turn). Masters of this style (speciality) are also able to perform two Kenjutsu techniques at the same time (in the same timeframe) akin to being side by side as long as it is within reason. Ex: one fire-related Kenjutsu in one hand and one lightning-related Kenjutsu in the other hand but being done at the same time AKA having the two swords in either hand (unable to use seals in this turn). Note that bleeding caps at a total of 40 damage per turn, as to not be too much and only a total of one bleed effect can be applied at a time so if a bleed that requires healing foam is in effect, a bleed that implies the use of medical ninjutsu to get healed cannot be applied on top of that.

He keep on thinking of different ways of making a style to use for his taijutsu skills. After three years of looking, he finally came a cross an idea. He knew of a man who could do amazing surgery. He wanted to get the man to do surgery on his arms and legs to install chain saw chains. From this idea, Chainsaw Arts was born.

Description on the Abilities and Inner Workings of the Style: The user must first undergo surgery or use the chains created from scientific ninja tools to install the chain saw chains into the user's legs. The chains are control by chakra and rotate by chakra. The user can use these chains to increase the attack and defense where the chains are on the legs are increased to attack and defend. These chains can be used for evasion techniques also when they are being activated or when they are already active. The chains depending on the gear the user uses increases their speed(techniques will display the speed increase per gear). The gears don't have to be used in numerical order either. They can activate and use any gear at any time.

Satetsu Ken - The Iron Sand Fist Style

Background:
The Iron Sand Fist Style was created by Misaka Mikoto as a way to use her Iron Sand Magnetism abilities in short to mid situations. Typically the abilities are used for mid to long range and thus leaves her vulnerable in close range. The style also takes inspiration from techniques and abilities like Sand Armor, Frog Kata, and Soma no Ko.
Description on the Abilities and Inner Workings of the Style:
In order to use the style the user must first coat their arms and legs within a compacted layer of Iron Sand using their Magnetism release. The Iron Sand acts as an armor to the arms and legs, but also increases the hardness of her blows. The Iron Sand can also quickly morphed into various shapes for various uses and also used to extend the reach of the user’s taijutsu up to midrange or even still attack if a strike misses similarly to Frog Kata, as for example an Iron Sand Fist would extend from a users arm to punch their target if their initial punch missed.

Offensively their arm and leg taijutsu now receive a +30 boost in damage as they are not coated in extremely hard iron sand. Defensively physical attacks specifically targeting the arms or legs or blocked by the arm and legs receive as -10 damage reduction. Lastly this jutsu grants the user the ability to use the underlying techniques of The Iron Sand Fist Style.

If done this way the sand will extend and carry the target up to mid range away in any direction the user chooses.

The user must have mastered the Iron Sand variation of Magnetism Release.

Fasutodorō - Art of the Fast Draw

Background: The Art of the Fast Draw takes heavy inspiration from romanticized western cowboys and the kenjutsu style known as Iaido to accomplish the same thing Iaido can, but up to mid range.
Description on the Abilities and Inner Workings of the Style: The Art of the Fast Draw involves the practitioner, aka a gunslinger, quickly drawing their pistol and firing it accurately up to mid range before a ninja can weave handseals and then holstering their gun. This is traditionally done with revolver pistols.

This special revolvers can come in many styles and colors to match the personality of the user. But they are all 6 shot revolvers that fire chakra metal bullets. The gunslinger can channel chakra into the gun and bullets to further enhance the bullets.

At A rank, this technique is capable of preventing more than 2 Hand Seals from being chained together. S rank prevents from than one seal from being completed while Forbidden ranked usage is capable of preventing even one handseal but can only be used twice a battle.

The user fires a single bullet. As the rank increases, they channel even more chakra into it for more power. The user can imbue any chakra nature whether it be the 5 base natures, an advanced element, or custom element they know.


( Fasutodorō - Faningu) - Art of Fast Draw - Fanning

Description: The Revolver is the pistol needed in order to perform the Art of the Fast Draw. Its aesthetics differ from user to user, but at its base it is a single action cylinder revolver pistol capable of holding 6 chakra metal bullets. The bullets can be imbued with any element the user knows. The metal making up the gun is a lightweight chakra metal alloy allowing it to be quickly drawn and maneuverable with one's hands. Mid range is the maximum recommended range of the firearm.

  1. The user can fire 2 bullets from this gun for 5 damage each freeform. However when doing this the user cannot infuse chakra into them.
  2. The user can fire up to 6 bullets in a single time frame for S rank damage and chakra cost.
  3. The user can reload up to 6 bullets in a single timeframe.

Declined: To make a CFS based off a gun, you need to have the gun approved in the custom tools thread, you can't have it approved at the same time as the CFS. Next, there is already a ranged CFS that uses projectiles like Iaido in Imp's Wrought Iron Archery. I'd like to not have multiple CFS that do the same thing on a somewhat fundamental level. - Daemon
