Hoho no Kumo | Way of the Spider

Type: NinTaijutsu

Background:
After experimenting around with viscous fluid and bubblegum, Zatanna found a way to modify it into a pressurised canister to be held onto a wrist. This viscous fluid, capable of carrying 100x its own weight, has the tensile strength of strength of steel wire, but with the added bonus of being sticky and flexible, as well as stretchy when needed. After playing around and training in this, Zatanna found a way to incorporate it into her fighting style, leaving strands of the fluid around the battlefield, through the trees and around boulders, much like a spiders web. Because of this, she called it the Way of the Spider.

Description on the Abilities and Inner Workings of the Style:
Hoho no Kumo works buy the user wearing pressurised fluid canisters on their wrists made from a similar concentration based on the Water Style: Syrup Starch, capable of being activated by a switch in the palm of their hand. This concoction is a mix of water style Syrup, combined with a propulsion mechanism made of chakra metal allowing one to channel wind chakra through it to cast a line and enhance the speed of which it is launched. When activated, depending on the nozzle on the canister the user can shoot out a long stream of fluid that will stick to the first thing it touches. While most commonly used as a single stream (effectively a rope made of many strings used as a way to increase its tensile strength) other nozzles can create instant patterns, balls, and other uses (to be submitted as CFSJ).
While this style has mainly supplementary uses, it has some restrictions and draw backs. Due to it being based on a water style, it has a weakness to earth style jutsu used to defend against it. Another restriction is that the fluid itself has very minimal physical impact. That is to say, on its own as a single stream it has a small impact like being hit with a fist. Not much force behind it due to how light it is, but it does have a high velocity.
Using ones ability to shoot these strings and attach them to the opponent gives much more opportunity and angles of attack, such as pulling their feet out from under them, pulling them towards you, or even disarming them. The advantage of course is that no tools are required to be dug hung on to the end to dig into the opponent to get a grip, nor actually have the time to be wrapped around them.

Description: The user will shoot forth their fluid in copious amounts completely covering the opponent in fluid, restricting their movement and effectively rendering them "paralysed" and unable to move.

Additional effects and Restrictions:
The user must have two wrist mounted launchers stated in their biography under ninja tools.
The fluid lasts on the field for 3 turns until it dissolves.
Specialising in this Custom Fighting Style will Half the amount of chakra needed to be used for the techniques, able to masterfully create the same techniques with half the fluid needed to be used.
Because these techniques come from the users chakra, there is no way to run out, the pressurised canisters simply allow the fluid to be shot faster and more accurately equivalent to wind speed.

Declined: This exists already, it’s called Flow of the White Spider. Additionally, the benefit for specializing in the CFS is no longer allowed.

Resshūken - Fissure Kick Fist
Type: NinTaijutsu
Background:

Resshūken is an unique style which is taught in the Bu'so Temple located in an isolated portion of the Land of Earth. The temple is known for their strict however fruitful martial arts. As Feitan climbed up the ranks in the Stone Village, it was relatively easy for him to get into the school and learn their techniques. Due to the complexity and the need to be a well refined ninja to make the style your own, Resshūken broke the will of many students to learn its sophisticated ways. However, it wasn't the same case for Feitan. Gaining advantage by his excellence in body arts and ability to manipulate chakra, Resshūken was bestowed upon him and he was considered the new master of the Bu'so Temple after the former master died due to old age.

Description on the Abilities and Inner Workings of the Style:

Resshūken is a style which centers around countering the enemy's attacks. As such it requires vast combat experience and a level of finesse, dexterity, and fluidity of movement that is out of the reach of most fighters. This style relies on fast footwork as well as incredible agility and combat perception in order to focus on fending off enemy attacks and instantly counterattack. The user becomes so proficient at counterattacks, abilities that aim to predict movement to gain an advantage over their opponent at close range run into extreme difficulty up against this style, as it potentially completely nullifies this advantage.

As such, the fighter maintains his or her position while diverting attacks with his arms or weapon. They then immediately retaliate with powerful kicks aimed at specific areas to produce the optimal effect for the situation. As such, the style is primarily defensive. However, kicks and sweeping attacks are not the only methods of striking employed by this style, punches and grappling maneuvers are also used to gain leverage on a foe. Regardless, the legs are still the main offensive weapon by users of this style. Despite its primarily defensive nature, its ability to take down an opponent unarmed is not to be underestimated.

As part of the training curriculum it is necessary to build one's body up to a level where the high speed counters can be utilized effortlessly. In addition, when utilizing such a style, precision and bodily control is absolutely key. There can be no wasted movements, and this is drilled into all students until they master this mode of precise body movement and control. As such, all users of Resshuken are extremely dangerous close quarters combatants and are considered taijutsu masters once the style is perfected.

Since the main focus of this style of combat is lower body strength, speed, and agility, once the physical part of the training of this style is completed, the intense training gives users of this style unparalleled foot speed without the use of chakra, such that their movements can be invisibly fast. They also become strong enough to kick a fully armored warrior and cause the warrior fly significant distances. If they happen to strike an obstruction during the flight, the strength of the kick can even then cause them to plow through solid stone walls. They can accomplish this unaided by chakra. They can kill with a single kick to a vulnerable area.

The Ninjutsu aspect of this style comes in with the user augmenting his limbs with chakra, or directly manifesting various forms of chakra/energy and using their fast movements in order to kick/push these objects at fast speed. For example, the user can make a ball of raw chakra and kick it with his foot towards any direction. However, they can also infuse elemental chakra into the ball, making it have the properties of said element. Alternatively, the user can augment his strikes with the use of chakra to make his attacks even more deadlier than they are.

Nanomachinery (Nanokikai)
Type: Nintaibukijutsu
Background: Nanomachinery is a fighting style produced by the Great Uniter, Kuvira. She developed this style to control the aspects of close quarter combat as well as mid range combat by combining her natural fighting style with her kekkei genkai, Steel Release. She did this by combining her offensive and defensive potency to create a versatile and dynamic fighting style.

Description on the Abilities and Inner Workings of the Style:

Nanomachinery is a fighting style that incorporates Steel Release: Impervious Armor into their close quarter combat. By focusing steel chakra within their limbs to harden its surface, the user can use these specific uses of Impervious armor in quick succession with precision timing for quick and powerful strikes.

Nanomachinery's fighting style is primarily based on the fighting style Hung Ga which is based around fast, strong hand movements as well as a sturdy stance to be immovable similar to a boulder and or a strong piece of steel. The user times his strikes so that they can quickly transfigure or coat their arm/legs in black steel and strike the opponent which result in more powerful hits. These hits have enough force behind them to shatter boulders or anything that isn't as durable as this steel.

Quickly coating pieces of the body also provides a quick defense for taijutsu and basic tools making that body part become nearly impervious to both for the time that the body part is covered.

Description: This Technique allows the user to turn part their body into black steel, making that part of their body invulnerable to most weapons and taijutsu attacks. But due to its metal properties it leaves the user vulnerable to lightning based techniques.

Nanomachinery also incorporates a range aspect to it that revolves around the creation of steel strips from the body. This works by the user converting a limb or section of their body into black steel and creating steel strips from that section of the body that can be fired at the opponent and manipulated through the use of Hung Ga hand movements to either bind the opponent's hands or legs or use to pierce their flesh by sharpening the edges of these steel strips.

Alternatively, these steel strips can be made from other preexisting sources of steel in conjunction with the close range fighting style. For example, making a steel strip from a surface made of steel to perform a leg sweep on the opponent while coating the user's arms in black steel to punch them into the ground.

Description: The user converts their left leg and right arm into black steel and delivers a series of punches and kicks to the diaphragm and sternum of the opponent, crushing their rib cage. Within these series of attacks, the user creates steel strips from their left leg and right arm and wrap them around the legs and neck of the opponent. Using their arm movements, the user turns their arm similar to the rotation of a steering wheel manipulating the strips to flip the opponent over slamming them on the ground with extreme force.

Practictioners of this style can passively create steel strips from their body or preexisting sources of steel that can be used as a replacement kunai, shuriken etc. These strips can be manipulated using hand gestures.

Declined: The portion with the steel strips is nice, expand on it a bit more. Ideally, you could make your entire style revolve around this particular skill. As of right now, very little relates it to the primary focus of this style (hardening body parts), and it seems haphazardly thrown in. Honestly, hardening body parts has been done to death. Off the top of my head there exists: Tegatana Way, Black Heaven and Earth, Kyoryu Taijutsu, various earth/steel CJs and canons, etc.

The wind will rumble and give birth to a storm

Name: (Douro Jou) Over Road
Type: Nin/Taijutsu
Background:
This fighting style was created by a curious ninja with a passion for the wind element. Though he wasn’t the strongest physically, he was highly intelligent. He used his intelligence to, over time; forge a fighting style that would not only allow him to become a powerful ninja, but allow him to manipulate the wind in a new and unique way. Over time, and after much trial and error, he created special ninja tools – later named regalia – that would help him implement his ideas into what would later become this fighting style.

The regalia itself referred to a pair of boots and gauntlets which allowed him increased speed and maneuverability through specially made “roller balls” embedded in the soles of the boots. Additionally, installed in several places along these regalia were prototype air-breathing engines. These engines allowed him to compress wind swiftly and efficiently in order to “harden” it and bring it to a ‘solid-like’ state.

He eventually combined these two aspects to form a fighting style that combined Taijutsu with Wind Element Ninjutsu. By manipulating and interfacing with the ‘solid’ wind, he would run and move around through the air, performing acrobatic movements that looked more like tricks than actual techniques. Likewise, he would also manipulate the hardened wind both offensively and defensively to fight opponents from any distance. Once he perfected the regalia and the windmill-turbine engines, he came up with the name “Over Road” for the fighting style. Not very creative for a genius of his caliber, but it is what it is.

Description on the Abilities & Inner Workings of the Style:
This fighting style works by incorporating the use of specially made miniature windmill turbine-engines, which are used to compress and transform wind into a variety of new shapes and forms. The windmill’s mechanism of action is similar to a real life air-breathing ramjet engine. The ramjet first takes air into the inlet at the front, compresses the air inside the engine, and then expels it out the back end to produce thrust/propulsion. The main difference with this fighting style lies in how the wind will be utilized once it’s expelled from the windmills.

The windmills themselves will be embedded in a pair of boots and gauntlets made specifically for users of this style. The boots and gauntlets are collectively referred to as the “Rumble Regalia – Ram Jet” or just the “Rumble Regalia.” The regalia are specially made ninja tools, created to facilitate the use of this fighting style for anyone and everyone. Installed in the boots along with the turbines are multiple small “roller-balls” along the sole. These balls are made to rotate in any direction and greatly increase the wearer’s maneuverability.

Because of the nature of their design – being ‘mass produced’ solely for users of the Over Road – the regalia aren’t considered as “custom weapons,” just ninja tools. However, if one wishes, instead of using the generic regalia, users of this style can also choose to embed the windmill turbines in their own personal custom weapons to facilitate their use of the style. That being said, the concept and design of the generic regalia will be detailed in a technique (as seen in the “example techniques” section).

Using the regalia, practitioners of this style adapt a more flexible, acrobatic way of fighting. Users move along the ground and through the air in such a way that their movements are much more "free" than other ninja. Their movements become unpredictable and practitioners can move in such a way that makes it easier for them to avoid or defend against attacks as well as launch their own attacks from any number of angles. This makes it hard for even the most veteran fighters to predict their movements. There are two main principles which users of the style incorporate in their movements, the first being “Gravity Control.” This refers to how users of this style practice so that they can easily shift their center of gravity in mid-air in order to extend the height and distance of their jumps. The second principle is referred to as “Catching Moon Drops,” or interfacing with air. What this means is that practitioners will learn how to move through the air by creating ‘solid platforms’ of wind and riding or running along these surfaces .

As far as actually using the style goes, the user begins every movement, every technique by channeling wind into the turbines. This wind can come either from the users own wind element chakra or even an opponent’s wind style technique – both suffice as “fuel” for the Over Road’s techniques. This makes the Over Road an ideal style for fighting and countering some of the most powerful wind style users. However, a practitioner will never be able to absorb an opponent’s wind technique in free-form. Such abilities will always be specifically mentioned in certain techniques used in the style.

After channeling wind into the windmills, the next step is compression. Users of this style will force the wind through the turbines with intense power and speed. Think of it as being similar to the Wind Release: Rasengan, which also emphasizes power and containment. Practitioners put the wind under high levels of compression, to the point that it gains an element of ‘solidity.’ What this means is that the wind is packed so tightly together that it can, in some instances, act as a solid. For example, when used defensively, the wind could be shaped into walls or a shield which could effectively defend against solid, matter-based attacks (not by blowing them away, but by actually intercepting and absorbing the impact of such strikes). Likewise, the wind can also be used offensively in such a way that it grinds solid objects to dust with storm level winds (similar to the Rasengan). It’s this level of compression and solidity that allows the wind to be shaped into the numerous unique forms that this style is known for.

The final step is shape-transformation. Maintaining the incredible level of compression requires that the user coat each technique in a layer of regular chakra. The layer of chakra acts a “buffer” between the user’s techniques and the air outside them so the wind can remain as compressed as possible. This layer of chakra around the wind can also be used to shape it into different forms to be used in specific techniques. The wind can take on various forms depending on the users will and is not simply limited to the formation of walls and barriers.

Description: The Rumble Regalia is a pair of uniquely made ninja tools in the form of boots and gauntlets, created to facilitate the use of the Over Road fighting style for all practitioners. The boots are made so that they extend all the way up to the knee, while the gauntlets extend to the elbow. Each has multiple small windmill turbines installed in them in multiple places. On the boots, there is one turbine on top of each foot, one on the sole of each foot, one on each shin, and one on each calf. On the gauntlets, there is one on each palm, one on top of each hand, and one on both sides of each forearm. Additionally, implanted in the soles of each boot are multiple small “roller-balls.” These roller balls rotate 360 degrees (in any direction) as the user moves along the ground. This allows users to glide across the ground, granting a much greater degree of maneuverability. The roller-balls don’t work on water or any other liquid surface, so the wearer would therefore walk/run on any non-solid surface as they normally would. The regalia are crafted from a special chakra metal that allows the user to freely channel their chakra throughout them and manipulate the turbines at will. The metal is also incredibly resilient to the point that the regalia are nigh indestructible. However, while they can resist any level or type of attack (S-Rank and below), the regalia are still conductors. This means that they are still susceptible to things like heat and electrocution from an opponent’s techniques. The turbines themselves can be seen as the only real weak point in these weapons. If the windmills happen to suck in any dangerous substances (e.g. flammable gas) the regalia are liable to be destroyed or blown up from within. That being said, the regalia are still sturdily made, so minor things like absorbing dust (even if it comes from a technique) will have no effect on them.

*This technique must be posted somewhere within each practitioner’s biography.
*The user must be wearing the regalia to use the CFS at any given time. If the regalia are destroyed in battle, the user can no longer use this CFS for the remainder of that battle.

Description: This is a technique used to facilitate a new level of unique and unpredictable movements utilized by practitioners of the Over Road fighting style. Its usage is quite simple – the user will expel bursts of wind from their regalia to boost their speed, power, and maneuverability. The user can, for example, expel wind from their legs in order to increase their running speed. The user can also use this to avoid certain Taijutsu techniques. Say someone was to try and punch the user square in the chest; one could expel jets of wind from their regalia in order to not only side-step out of the way, but also to move into position for an immediate counter attack. The user can also increase the power of their physical attacks by releasing bursts of wind from their arms or legs to rapidly increase their speed and give them an extra “kick.” However this technique doesn’t allow the user to release a continuous stream of wind – rather, users can only release very short bursts, consecutive though they may be. This allows one to change the direction of their attacks at the last second if they so wish. The user gains a speed boost from using this technique, though their moves are still easily traceable by the naked eye. This technique allows the user to take full advantage of the roller balls on each their regalia.

*This technique is used passively throughout the entire battle whenever the user wishes and does not count towards the 3 allotted moves per turn. However each turn the ability is used, it drains chakra from the user. Whether it’s one burst of air or several, -10 is drained upon each use.
*This technique must be posted as a reference every time it is used.
*The user gains +10 damage to their Taijutsu attacks each time this technique is used.


(Miraa Ranburu Kabe) Mirrored Rumble Wall

Description: The mirrored rumble wall is among the most versatile techniques in an Over-Road practitioner’s arsenal. It begins when the user channels air through their regalia and then expels it in order to create multiple solid walls of wind in the air around them and their opponent. Though the size of each individual wall can vary depending on the user’s desire, the walls are always only 0.5 centimeters thick. As thin as they are, the walls are made to be completely transparent and cannot be seen by the naked eye – not unless someone is literally standing a meter away from one. Despite this, they are still solid enough to defend against physical attacks on the weaker end of the spectrum, following elemental strengths and weaknesses. With that being said, the rumble walls can be used for a variety of purposes, as described below.

Sky Walker
The user can create the walls in various places and on different angles throughout the air around them. The walls are invisible to the opponent, but because the user knows where each wall is, they can jump into and “walk on air” by walking along the surface of these walls. The user is capable of swiftly jumping around through the air by moving off each wind platform. This would allow one to attack from multiple different angles, making it much harder for an opponent to predict where the user might attack from. Though incredibly thin, the walls are still resilient enough to support the weight of a person.

Fun House Mirrors
The walls created by this technique can also act as mirrors that refract and reflect light via retro-reflection. This allows the user to cast low-level optical illusions on an opponent. For example, the user could create a series of these walls around themselves and their opponent. By reflecting the light throughout the “fun house,” the user can make it seem like they are moving and attacking from one direction, rather than another. The user could also make it seem like they are attacking from multiple places at once by creating numerous reflections of themselves. Likewise, the user could disguise their movements altogether by making it seem like they vanished into thin air. The user does all this by running "behind" the mirrors and manipulating them to act as lenses. This, however, is the limit of what the user can do with these illusions. Because they are not Genjutsu, they cannot be broken like Genjutsu.

Sound Reflection
Because of their solidity and nature as “mirrors,” the walls are capable of reflecting and re-directing sound up to a certain level for a variety of purposes. For example, if the user was to disguise their movement using the “Fun House Mirrors” ability – making it seem like they are attacking from one direction while they’re really coming from another – the user can also reflect the sounds they make along the mirrors to make it sound like they are coming from the direction they want the opponent to perceive. This ability to reflect sound allows the user to add to the deception of the Fun House Mirrors. The technique can also be used defensively to reflect Sound Techniques of C-Rank and below back at an opponent. It is worth noting that this ability is not considered Sound Manipulation – and therefore doesn’t require mastery of Sound – and is more akin to the way one would use the Empty Cicada Shell Technique.

*Though there is no approximate limit to how many walls can be created, the amount is always within reason for a C-Rank technique. Likewise, the more that are created, the weaker each individual one.

(Hanten Ranburu) Rumble Reversal

Description: This technique allows practitioners of the Over Road fighting style to absorb an opponent’s wind style techniques when used against them. The user begins by using their chakra to rapidly rotate the windmills along their regalia to literally suck up and absorb an entire technique. The absorbed air can thereafter be used in one of two ways. One way the user can use this technique is to pass the air through the turbines and compress it, then expel the wind back out towards the opponent in the form of a powerful, concussive blast of wind. The power and rank of the wind blast is equivalent to the technique that the user absorbed. The wind blast would have no shape, but would still be condensed from passing through the turbines. Therefore, like a raging storm, the wind could be used to grind and break through solid barriers following elemental strengths and weaknesses and according to the rank of the wind blast itself. The other use for this technique is supplementary. The user can choose to use their opponents wind technique to augment the strength and power of their own wind style techniques (applies to all Fuuton in general). This is done by compressing the opponents wind and adding it to the users own. The user is therefore capable of empowering their offensive techniques by taking the Chakra Points (CP) of the opponents jutsu and dividing it in half. The resulting number is thereafter added to the Damage Points (DP) of the user’s offensive jutsu. The same is done for the user's defensive wind techniques, though their total DP refers instead to the amount of damage they can withstand for their rank.

*The user can only absorb up to A-Rank wind techniques.

*Practitioners move much faster and more unpredictably than ordinary Taijutsu masters because of the Moonstruck Bagram technique and their mastery of the Rumble Regalia respectively. However their movements are still easily traceable by the normal eye.
*The aforementioned abilities do not apply to people who choose to embed the windmill turbines in their own Custom Weapons (unless their custom weapon includes a pair of boots or shoes with the turbines installed).

Background: After mastering what she could do with Paper, Korra became obsessed with trying to combine other stuff with her Paper Ninjutsu. She was than able to change the color of some of her paper so that she could make the paper form patterns that would cause optical illusions for people looking at them. She than was able to use these paper illusions to catch people into genjutsus using her paper as the medium while also being a way to attack.
Description on the Abilities and Inner Workings of the Style: This fighting style works by channeling the users chakra into their paper and changing some of paper to change into certain colors needed for different illusions. The user will than have the paper swirl around or in front of the opponent and start spinning or moving in a certain way to start the optical illusion. Once the illusion starts the opponent will be caught and the paper will channel the user chakra into the opponent catching them in genjutsu which can vary depending on what the user is trying to accomplish. These optical illusions can mess with opponent's sense and can also be combine with other genjutsu but will cost the user two moves. After the opponent breaks out of the genjutsu they will still experience disorientation from the optical illusion and not the actual gen itself. The fighting style also uses the illusions it creates to also use paper to attack opponents while also trapping them in illusions. The user can use just paper, sealing tags and explosive tags in combination of the illusion this fighting style creates.

However, you need to incorporate some sort of close quarters aspect to this style -- as it is now, it is simply an alternative way of incorporating genjutsu into your ninjutsu. Additionally, remove the portion saying that the opponent will still be disoriented from the optical illusion. Combining with another gen will only be done in specific jutsu created for the style, you can't simply combo in any genjutsu that you'd like. ♪

Ebb and Flow (Kanman)
Type: FuinTaijutsu
Background: Ebb and Flow was developed during the warring states period in current day Earth Country by a clan known as the Earth Empire. High ranking members of the clan designed this fighting style to be the ultimate defensive style, where its strength depends on the strength of the opponent. With this style in hand, the Earth Empire colonized much of current day Earth Country territory as they stood unmatched. This style was lost to history before the scrolls containing the inner workings of the style were recovered on the outskirts of Earth Country.

Description on the Abilities and Inner Workings of the Style: Unlike most fighting styles, Ebb and Flow is a fighting style where defense is the cornerstone and very little direct offense is practiced. In fact, the defensive applications of this fighting style serve as the stepping stone to the offensive portion of the style. Ebb and Flow, as it's name suggests, is based on the movement of tides and waves, highs and lows and declines and climaxes. Therefore the movements of this fighting style are extremely fluid and are directly derived from the movements of Tai chi. In essence, Ebb and Flow's purpose as a fighting style is to use the opponent's strength against them and overwhelm them with their own power using fuinjutsu seals created by the user when intercepting a technique and "attacking" and opponent simulataneously.

This is done by creating a generic sealing and unsealing seals on the user's body at will. The first seal also known as the "Entry" or "Decline" Seal is the seal created by the user that allows them to seal incoming attack from the opponents using graceful movements such as swiping of the hands, legs or rotation of the body. Once sealed away, the user continues their fluid movement and finishes the combo with the expulsion of the sealed technique back at the opponent. The secondary seal created is also known as the "Exit" or "Climax" seal. As the name suggests the Exit seal is the seal the opponent's technique exits from.

Like most modern fighting style Ebb and Flow has a ranged variant which is solely dependent on what techniques the user uses in conjunction with the fighting style. When using physical techinques that are directly generated from the user's body, the user can passively spread a Decline or Climax seals on that physical substance. This extends to solid matter that the user is in direct contact with. Obviously within reason, to prevent abuse, these seals cannot be created on the ground the user is in contact with simply because they are in contact with it. However, the ranged variant is meant to be used as spreading a Climax Seal to a sword in the user's hand for example. A separate techinque will be made for the spreading of the seals

When using Ebb and Flow, a technique is normally released after an explosive movement follows the flowing movement of the body. For example, after sealing an opposing technique through an entry seal the user can then go from the flowing movement to an aggressive movement, delivering a palm strike to the opponent while releasing the sealed technique through the exit seal created on the user's palm.

Due to the nature of Ebb and Flow, despite it being a taijutsu style, the amount of damage done by the technique is solely dependent on the opponents techniques and therefore the style cannot be "boosted" using things such as Eight Inner Gates or any other taijutsu boosting techniques/styles since these boost will have no effect on the damage of the technique sealed by the user of Ebb and Flow.

For example, A technique that would require the user to create a Decline seal on their leg to initate an Ebb and Flow technique, the sword can be used to intercept the technique due to the Decline seal being on the weapon. Naturally, the user will only be able to put either a Decline or Climax seal on another object or physical technique, never both. These seals also cannot be arbitrarily placed such as putting a seal on the ground just because the user is in contact with the ground. This technique must be stated on the user's bio and before matches.

The full technique sealed within the Decline seal is then released through the Climax or Exit Seal, slamming into the opponents body. Nanomachinery (Nanokikai)
Type: Nintaibukijutsu
Background: Nanomachinery is a fighting style produced by the Great Uniter, Kuvira. She developed this style to control the aspects of close quarter combat as well as mid range combat by combining her natural fighting style with her kekkei genkai, Steel Release. She did this by combining her offensive and defensive potency to create a versatile and dynamic fighting style.

Description on the Abilities and Inner Workings of the Style:

Nanomachinery is a fighting style that incorporates Steel Release: Impervious Armor into their close quarter combat. By focusing steel chakra within their limbs to harden its surface, the user can use these specific uses of Impervious armor in quick succession with precision timing for quick and powerful strikes.

Nanomachinery's fighting style is primarily based on the fighting style Hung Ga which is based around fast, strong hand movements as well as a sturdy stance to be immovable similar to a boulder and or a strong piece of steel. The user times his strikes so that they can quickly transfigure or coat their arm/legs in black steel and strike the opponent which result in more powerful hits. These hits have enough force behind them to shatter boulders or anything that isn't as durable as this steel.

Quickly coating pieces of the body also provides a quick defense for taijutsu and basic tools making that body part become nearly impervious to both for the time that the body part is covered.


(Kōton: Mukankaku no Yoroi) - Steel Release: Impervious Armour

Nanomachinery also incorporates a range aspect to it that revolves around the creation of steel strips from the body. This works by the user converting a limb or section of their body into black steel and creating steel strips from that section of the body that can be fired at the opponent and manipulated through the use of Hung Ga hand movements to either bind the opponent's hands or legs or use to pierce their flesh by sharpening the edges of these steel strips.

Alternatively, these steel strips can be made from other preexisting sources of steel in conjunction with the close range fighting style. For example, making a steel strip from a surface made of steel to perform a leg sweep on the opponent while coating the user's arms in black steel to punch them into the ground.

Using their arm movements, the user turns their arm similar to the rotation of a steering wheel manipulating the strips to flip the opponent over slamming them on the ground with extreme force.

Declined: The portion with the steel strips is nice, expand on it a bit more. Ideally, you could make your entire style revolve around this particular skill. As of right now, very little relates it to the primary focus of this style (hardening body parts), and it seems haphazardly thrown in. Honestly, hardening body parts has been done to death. Off the top of my head there exists: Tegatana Way, Black Heaven and Earth, Kyoryu Taijutsu, various earth/steel CJs and canons, etc.

Background: Metalbending is a fighting style produced by the Great Uniter, Kuvira. She did this by combining her offensive and defensive potency to create a versatile and dynamic fighting style.

Description on the Abilities and Inner Workings of the Style:
The style originates from the user's inate ability to conjure and manipulate steel release to precise levels of control. Instead of making entire steel armories, contructs etc., Metalbending focuses on creating and controlling thin strips of steel as the basis of the fighting style.

Metalbending's fighting style is primarily based on the fighting style Hung Ga which is based around fast, strong hand movements as well as a sturdy stance to be immovable similar to a boulder and or a strong piece of steel. These strict hand gestures and leg movement create a "path" for these steel strips to follow. This effectively allows the user to guide the steel strips to their goal.

This works by the user creating steel strips from that section of the body that can be fired at the opponent and manipulated through the use of Hung Ga hand movements to either bind the opponent's hands or legs or use to pierce their flesh by sharpening the edges of these steel strips.

As hinted at above, these strips can be manipulated on creation to increase their lethality effectively turning them into curved blades, small lances etc.

The goal of this style is to manipulate the strips to latch on to the opponent's wrists, joints, etc (like a bracelet) and use those strips to manipulate an opponents limb momentarily. For example, creating a steel strip to wrap itself around the opponent's ankle and using hand or leg gestures to manipulate the steel strip to sweep the opponent off their leg. The user is even capable of using these strips to hinder an opponent's eyesight by wrapping a steel strip around the top half of their head. Or even wrapping multiple steel strips around the opponent's body and dragging them toward the user to initiate CQC.
Naturally, the steel strips are created quickly and effortlessly leaving little time to interrupt their actual creation since the strips are small enough to be created rather quickly. (Obviously, the creation of the strips can be interrupted logically if an opposing technique allows it)
Alternatively, these steel strips can be made from other preexisting sources of steel in conjunction with the close range fighting style. For example, making a steel strip from a surface made of steel to perform a leg sweep on the opponent.

These steel stripes generated by the Metalbender can be used to defensively and offensively simultaneously. For example, stopping an opponent's punch by manipulating a steel strip around their wrist however that steel strip on their wrist can in the same motion be used to flying the opponent away or slam them into the ground.

Resshūken - Fissure Kick Fist
Type: NinTaijutsu
Background:

Resshūken is an unique style which is taught in the Bu'so Temple located in an isolated portion of the Land of Earth. The temple is known for their strict however fruitful martial arts. As Feitan climbed up the ranks in the Stone Village, it was relatively easy for him to get into the school and learn their techniques. Due to the complexity and the need to be a well refined ninja to make the style your own, Resshūken broke the will of many students to learn its sophisticated ways. However, it wasn't the same case for Feitan. Gaining advantage by his excellence in body arts and ability to manipulate chakra, Resshūken was bestowed upon him and he was considered the new master of the Bu'so Temple after the former master died due to old age.

Description on the Abilities and Inner Workings of the Style:

Resshūken is a style which centers around countering the enemy's attacks. As such it requires vast combat experience and a level of finesse, dexterity, and fluidity of movement that is out of the reach of most fighters. This style relies on fast footwork as well as incredible agility and combat perception in order to focus on fending off enemy attacks and instantly counterattack. The user becomes so proficient at counterattacks, abilities that aim to predict movement to gain an advantage over their opponent at close range run into extreme difficulty up against this style, as it potentially completely nullifies this advantage.

As such, the fighter maintains his or her position while diverting attacks with his arms or weapon. They then immediately retaliate with powerful kicks aimed at specific areas to produce the optimal effect for the situation. As such, the style is primarily defensive. However, kicks and sweeping attacks are not the only methods of striking employed by this style, punches and grappling maneuvers are also used to gain leverage on a foe. Regardless, the legs are still the main offensive weapon by users of this style. Despite its primarily defensive nature, its ability to take down an opponent unarmed is not to be underestimated.

As part of the training curriculum it is necessary to build one's body up to a level where the high speed counters can be utilized effortlessly. In addition, when utilizing such a style, precision and bodily control is absolutely key. There can be no wasted movements, and this is drilled into all students until they master this mode of precise body movement and control. As such, all users of Resshuken are extremely dangerous close quarters combatants and are considered taijutsu masters once the style is perfected.

Since the main focus of this style of combat is lower body strength, speed, and agility, once the physical part of the training of this style is completed, the intense training gives users of this style unparalleled foot speed without the use of chakra, such that their movements can be invisibly fast. The Ninjutsu aspect of this style comes in with the user augmenting his limbs with chakra, or directly manifesting various forms of chakra/energy and using their fast movements in order to kick/push these objects at fast speed. For example, the user can make a ball of raw chakra and kick it with his foot towards any direction. However, they can also infuse elemental chakra into the ball, making it have the properties of said element. Alternatively, the user can augment his strikes with the use of chakra to make his attacks even more deadlier than they are.

Background:

Resshūken is an unique style which is taught in the Bu'so Temple located in an isolated portion of the Land of Earth. The temple is known for their strict however fruitful martial arts. As Feitan climbed up the ranks in the Stone Village, it was relatively easy for him to get into the school and learn their techniques. Due to the complexity and the need to be a well refined ninja to make the style your own, Resshūken broke the will of many students to learn its sophisticated ways. However, it wasn't the same case for Feitan. Gaining advantage by his excellence in body arts and ability to manipulate chakra, Resshūken was bestowed upon him and he was considered the new master of the Bu'so Temple after the former master died due to old age.

Description on the Abilities and Inner Workings of the Style:

Resshūken is a style which centers around countering the enemy's attacks. As such it requires vast combat experience and a level of finesse, dexterity, and fluidity of movement that is out of the reach of most fighters. This style relies on fast footwork as well as incredible agility and combat perception in order to focus on fending off enemy attacks and instantly counterattack. The user becomes so proficient at counterattacks, abilities that aim to predict movement to gain an advantage over their opponent at close range run into extreme difficulty up against this style, as it potentially completely nullifies this advantage.

As such, the fighter maintains his or her position while diverting attacks with his arms or weapon. They then immediately retaliate with powerful elemental chakra kicks aimed at specific areas to produce the optimal effect for the situation. As such, the style is primarily defensive. However, kicks and sweeping attacks are not the only methods of striking employed by this style, punches and grappling maneuvers are also used to gain leverage on a foe. Regardless, the legs are still the main offensive weapon by users of this style. Despite its primarily defensive nature, its ability to take down an opponent unarmed is not to be underestimated.

As part of the training curriculum it is necessary to build one's body up to a level where the high speed counters can be utilized effortlessly. In addition, when utilizing such a style, precision and bodily control is absolutely key. There can be no wasted movements, and this is drilled into all students until they master this mode of precise body movement and control. As such, all users of Resshuken are extremely dangerous close quarters combatants and are considered taijutsu masters once the style is perfected.

Since the main focus of this style of combat is lower body strength, speed, and agility, once the physical part of the training of this style is completed, the intense training gives users of this style unparalleled foot speed without the use of chakra, such that their movements can be invisibly fast. Zeus' Wrath works by passively and constantly feeding chakra (-5 per turn) to the muscles and brain in the user's body. Because of the precise locations and amounts of electricity used to stimulate the body, the user experiences enhanced strength, situational awareness, and reaction speeds. The lightning surging throughout the user's body is always made use of through taijutsu, which can result in shocks, paralysis, or even levitation on the opponent's or user's end, thanks to the special properties of the lightning (which is seen in a number of canon techniques, like Levitating Blades).

Background: Percy always had a fascination with wolves and after his family was slaughtered, Percy spent his time living in the woods hidden in the Rain Lands studying the nature of wolves, incorporating the tactics of the Alphas into his own lifestyle. Being a taijutsu specialist, these tactics become second nature shown by Percy’s pure aggression while fighting. Percy vigorously and religiously conditioned his mind and body, channeling his chakra through out every part of his body as he developed more knowledge on the way of the Alphas warrior-like fighting, hunting, reaction to certain situations and killing nature. Dubbing the name of Ookami Takutikku, Alpha Tactics, also known as “Wolf Tactics”.

Description on the Abilities and Inner Workings of the Style: The entire style is based off of the way Alpha wolves operate. After extreme conditioning and countless in depth experience, the user applies his aggression for brute force, overpowering and/or tanking[fighting through] blunt attacks without hindering their mobility. The sole mindset of an Alpha is to be the last one standing, pushing their bodies to limits and negating any fear of death or harm, for it isn’t considered an option. Their advanced tracking[hunting] abilities aid them with heightened awareness. The longer an Alpha fights the more predictable their prey[opponents] become. Their lack of fear and heightened intuition, also assist them willfully overpowering certain mind illusions, that could also be used to restrict them. Due to their aggressive behavior, Alphas tend to have quicker reflexes from lacking hesitation. This is also shown through when being knocked down, the user will immediately bounce back finding their way to their feet. Fighting posture may differ but generally uses low crouching behavior for quick forward rushes, as well as the use of pinning parts of whom they fight.

-To become an Alpha Master of Ookami Takutikku, one must be of Sannin rank or above.
-Alpha Masters are capable of willfully/forcefully breaking through binding genjutsu of B-rank and lower.
-Ookami Takutikku users have heightened tracking, reflexes and physical durability[forcefully fighting through B-rank and lower taijutsu without the effects of pain hindering movement]. Damage will still apply, although users fight through it.
-Due to the nature of aggression, Taijutsu that incorporates chakra usage to perform, consumes +10 more chakra than usual from the user.

Tatakai no Gendōryoku - Warring Impetus

Type: Nintaijutsu

Background: After he began making use of his Six Paths of Pain in battle, Nagato found the Asura’s path’s unique body structure and abilities were ideal for close quarter combat. He figured, in theory, a resilient body capable of self-modification should be able to majorly outperform any other ninja in terms of strength and speed. This made him curious as to how far he could push its limits. So he experimented, modifying its body with the goal of generating the greatest amount of force possible with the least effort. Finally, after much trial and error, he discovered he could combine methods of mechanical force multiplication, power generation, and Asura path abilities to achieve his desired product. The end result was a style fitting of a vanguard that emphasized both offense and defense.

Description on the Abilities and Inner Workings of the Style:

At its base, Warring Impetus takes full advantage the Asura Path’s self-augmentation abilities and mechanized body to improve its combat ability on the fly. This is done by configuring the body’s structure and integrating engines into it. These engines work similarly to real world engines and may generate power through combustion and/or hydraulics, the former converting chakra into burnable fuel as demonstrated by the Flaming Arrow Missiles technique, and the latter substituting liquid for condensed chakra. When the relevant body parts are mechanically optimized for a particular task and powered by engines, the force they exert and the speed at which they move are improved dramatically while the effort required to do so is minimized.

It is difficult to describe all of the possible applications of this Warring Impetus since the abilities of the Asura path vary so greatly. Some include include creating weaponry and tools enhanced with engines, enhancing physical attacks by releasing concentrated energy, and generating heat and compressing air for combat use with the aid of engines and turbines.

Appearance-wise, a user of Warring Impetus techniques would begin to less resemble a human as their body becomes more armored and changes in structure. Several openings would appear on their body to allow ventilation and the release of jets when needed. The channeling of energy through the body when using techniques would be partially visible as a glow.under the surface of their armor.

Several precautions are typically put in place to prevent usage of techniques from damaging the user’s body. Destruction of the user’s limbs from impacts, over extension, or explosions is minimized with reinforced armor and shock absorption mechanisms. As for when the user is moving at high speeds, the enhanced perception of the Rinnegan is crucial for keeping track of their own movements and surroundings and preventing tunnel vision. The need to stop, change direction, or maneuver aerially is usually assisted by jets to supply an opposing force. The use of jets for propulsion purposes is always mentioned in the description of individual techniques.

While Rise is active the user becomes capable of crossing large distances in a short amount of time, lifting objects many times their own weight, and attacking with enough force to destroy steel walls.These modifications are always in place as a default state but the user’s abilities are not notably enhanced until the engine is activated which can be done passively on its own or automatically when a Warring Impetus technique is used. Once activated, Rise will remain active until the user chooses to deactivate it.

He will also release highly condensed air mixed with combustible chakra from his fist into the ground which is ignited to cause a massive explosion to radiate outwards and destroy everything around him, leaving only a giant crater in the aftermath. The arm used for this technique is destroyed in the process.

Additional Effects and Restrictions:

-Must have a Rinnegan bio with a remotely linked Asura path
-Must have mastered taijutsu
-Warring Impetus techniques can replace/repair any damaged or lost body parts at the cost of an additional +10 chakra per section.

Background: Famously utilized by the Akatsuki, notably Itachi Uchiha or Pein who've perfectly mastered the art of juggling their opponent between their fingers and other various techniques. Although the majority of this style has not been shown it is known that it can be quite powerful in the right hands, although its been shown to a small degree with Pein. Nagato utilizing all Six Paths of Pein he can easily overwhelm the opponent with both speed, strength, strategy, tactics, movement, and numbers whilst Itachi uses this style with his crows and kage bunshin techniques. Itachi turning into crows to appear behind the opponent whilst remaining a kage bunshin in front of the opponent to then perform multiple attacks from two sides. Although it was majorly used by the Akatsuki it was used as well by Naruto with his multi shadow clone jutsu, Minato with his FTG technique, and Hiruzen Sarutobi with his staff and monkey summoning technique. Although it hasn't been shown with most shinobi it can easily be performed with some practice; making this style of combat both easily accessible and viable. In the later years of its cycle, the last user of the style was Madara who used it against the allied shinobi forces to eliminate the large majority and cause them to flee into a full defensive. The most advanced performance of this style is what madara used; named for its stylistic display, ''Dance of the Dragon.''

Description on the Abilities and Inner Workings of the Style: This style of combat uses both the art of taijutsu and the advanced performance of ninjutsu to make that of endless combos that stun the opponent almost within a continuous loop. By initiating a landing taijutsu offensive the practitioner and or kage bunshin are able to chain countless attacks into a effective yet deadly combination of swift taijutsu techniques that'll leave the adversary badly wounded, however not dead. This style forbids any deadly or otherwise lethal acts to be inserted into the performance unless it is the S-ranked variation of the style which there is only one. Ironically named ''Ultimate'', this highly advanced technique can only be performed at the end of a combo and thus will lead to the opponent dying unlike the other techniques and combos that forbid it. A ''Ultimate'' is a long yet flashy ending to the battle that combine both pure strength, strategy, and skill as it is not very easy to land the technique.

The basic performance of the style is of a singular practitioner closing the distance very quickly whilst keeping a stylistic and flashy fashion to their movements, it is said that those who practice this method of fighting are called ''Dancers of the Battlefield'' for they fight as if they're dancing with their adversary. The other primary yet basic method is to summon a clone or comrade to help juggle the opponent between the both of you, effective to ensure swift victory.

The advanced performance of the style is of a singular practitioner only, closing the distance relatively quickly. The speed of a advanced dancer is not very well documented, however madara used it to close the distance between a few feet away from the allied shinobi force and the middle of the entire army within mere seconds; throwing those that weren't ready for the immense speed upwards into the air. The beginning style of the advanced performance dance is solely based around taijutsu and countering with perfect accuracy, with enough speeds and strategy to perform stylistic movement between offensives and defensives. The secondary variation of this dance is to utilize ninjutsu or elemental ninjutsu to stun the adversary into a combo that may lead to a ''Ultimate'' technique, those that can't learn the ''Ultimate'' technique can still use the secondary form, however just not with the ending Ultimate.

Shichi Hō De | Seven Ways of Going
Type: Ninbukitaijutsu
Background: Ninja have always utilized transformation style techniques to give them advantages relating to espionage and infiltration. In the Narutoverse this can be directly seen with one of the most basic ninja techniques.This jutsu allows the user to transform either themselves or another object into the appearance of another person, animal, or object. This is one of the basic jutsu taught at the any Ninja Academy. Fundamentally, all ninja know this jutsu. The transformation technique is considered to be among the more difficult E-ranked techniques, since it requires constant emission of chakra while mentally maintaining the form. On top of that, the user would be, most likely, interacting with the environment. This puts much mental strain on the inexperienced ninja. Tsunade of the Sannin possesses a more advanced version of the Transformation Technique, where she disguises her 50-year-old self as younger versions of herself. Her technique is unique as it seems to be permanent, nor does she need to exert herself to maintain it for a long time, whereas a normal transformation would be dispelled when the user is injured. This implies that the form is a physical transformation and that it only breaks when Tsunade is low on chakra. We have often seen Naruto Uzumaki using the transformation technique within his own personal fighting style, giving him the moniker of the "#1 most unpredictable" ninja. His technique, Demon Wind Bomb which was first used against Zabuza employed the use of him transforming his shadow clone into a fuma shurikan which was thrown and allowed Naruto to surprise the unsuspecting Zabuza. In the video games, this has been adapted to also include Naruto to essentially doing a combination transformation with his clone before Naruto throws the shuriken, he combines with the shuriken. When the Fūma Shuriken makes contact, it slashes the opponent several times, then turns back to Naruto and the shadow clone. Both of them deliver a combo attack that sends the opponent flying off into the distance. The Inuzuka clan have adapted this to their own fighting style whereas they preform combination techniques with thier Ninken in order to transform into objects such as double or even three headed dogs giving them overwhelming power in close quarters combat. This could also be said for the Akimichi clan who transform their arms, legs or even entire bodies into larger versions of themselves. Hiruzen Sarutobi's summon, is a prime example of where the idea for this fighting style stems. Monkey King Enma could transform at-will into a staff said to be hard as adamantine, and could extend and expand despite its hardness. All of these ideas come together to create the fighting style that is the, Seven Ways of Going.

Description on the Abilities and Inner Workings of the Style: Heavily rooted in the usage of the Transformation and Combination Transformation, and Shadow Clone techniques, this style heavily revolves around a shinobi and/or their clones/allies ability to transform into various weaponry both conventional and even unconventional in order to combat the opponent. After becoming a weapon, the practioner can chose to be seen as some sort of reflection on the weapon while a completely black space is viewed inside the weapon. Much like how a jinchuriki can go to a space to communicate with their tailed beast, the person transformed is from this space able to communicate with their wielder as they are linked via chakra. In the case of multiple weapons, they may all share this shared space allowing them to freely communicate. This also means that weapons used in the style all have sentience and can freely break the transformation, move of their own accord, or channel their chakras for various techniques that are only possible with this style of fighting. The transforming can be utilized defensively and also as a way of evasion, switching themselves between weapon and human forms in order to evade attacks (within reason). Those transformed by this fighting style are essentially invincible as they would acquire the traits and characteristics of the weapon they have chosen to transform into which is then further strengthened through the user's chakra. However, the user may still feel the clash with physical objects, and even have their defense overwhelmed by strong enough attacks thus causing the user to sustain damage and even bleeding in weapon form or breaking the transformation all together. With the Weapon's ability to strengthen their user and vice versa, they can combine their respective powers to become near unstoppable in battle. In theory, there is no restriction on who is capable of wielding these weapon. It has been demonstrated that many other beings can wield a weapon allowing even animal summons and companions to utilize the fighting style within reason. The user may supplement this with their own fighting style as they transform their appendages, or even entire bodies into a weapon and vice versa such as producing arms /or legs even in weapon form making the user able to become very unpredictable in the midst of battle.

  • Specialist of this Fighting Style are trained to have master chakra control as to maintain a transformation requires a constant supply of chakra and concentration. They effectively have learned how to conserve their chakra and as such each jutsu they preform cost 5 points less.
  • User must be at least S-class in order to effectively have the expertise required to preform the style.
Declined: My issues with this are that: If this was approved, it would potentially clash with dozens of customs/styles. For instance, transforming into a sword and channeling elements into it, transforming into a staff/projectiles like bows and arrows, etc. Additionally, this would still have to abide by the clone rules, and would essentially divide your chakra by half or more every time you use a technique. And, if you say hit someone with a clone transformed into a sword, there's a good chance that the clone will disperse from the impact.

Background: A specialized way of fighting, firstly founded by a immortal shinobi named ''Dr. Stein'' in the age of Kaguya. Developed to protect against the chaotic ruler of Ninshu, it was majorly used for medical purposes, however it was simultaneously a great way to use in battle against those that could use jutsu. Dr. Stein created a school to which he taught his test subjects the style, i return they'd be operated upon for experiments that led to the deaths of many in his laboratory. Because the students of this style more than likely died by future experiments operated by Dr. Stein not many people were shown using the style outside of the doctor himself. It was this that led to the style mostly being forgotten by seekers that wanted to learn it, if not scared off by the fact that those who wanted to learn were never seen again. As the style swiftly began fading through history thus completely forgotten by time it was namely granted the title of ''most rarest fighting style'' in shinobi history simultaneously the most unknown; due to this there is only one scripture about it in the land of water located in a miscellaneous book called ''forbidden arts; page 5, paragraph 2'' stating the horrors of the history via short summary.

Reading the book will only entitle information about Dr. Stein and his ways of teaching, meanwhile fighting against those who use it will give more information naturally.

The initial appearance of a soul/core can determine everything, either if someone is very static and crazy thus reckless or tactical, slow in nature, and counter intensive. Ideally if someone is evil, good, neutral, meanwhile determining if someone is gonna use a offensive or defensive in battle. In short summary soul arts allows a practitioner to read a adversary in a more advanced state or method, utilizing a Taoism inward belief of a third eye via conscious meditation without utilization of a dojutsu.

Specialized practitioners of the style know how to use the style offensively in battle, being able to directly effect someone with their knowledge advantage and their taijutsu. Striking the core/soul directly with their own chakra they're allowed to alter or subconsciously buff that singular attack in either a stun, push, or neutralization effect. Even the most skilled practitioners can use the style without hitting the core directly, as long as its in the general direction or near area of it the effects will still activate as normal. Ideally those of the style will have a natural outward layer of chakra aura that cannot be seen until five posts later, this aura will reflect power and skill of the user, those of lower rank than the practitioner will feel absolute fear and worthlessness to fight on as their will to fight any longer will fade into nothingness; submitting to the power of their adversary/practitioner.

Essentially, this portion of the style makes the whole thing unapprovable. Where in the series was it shown that the soul is stored in the abdomen? You can't just manipulate/attack souls without having some sort of CC ability or similar approved. The pseudo dojutsu won't be approved either.

Senpūtestuken ▾ Whirlwind Cutting Fist
Type: Nintaijutsu​

Background: For those who have been taught the ways of the NarutoBase Taijutsu, the combination of elemental chakra and Chinese martial arts are the two main things that make the techniques that fall underneath that catergory so sought after. This style is heavily rooted in the Leopard Kung Fu, one of the Five Animal Forms in traditional Southern Chinese Martial Arts. Leopard Kung Fu relies on speed and and outsmarting the opponent in hand to hand combat rather then strength like many Strong Fist styles. As such the user combines their techniques with the wind nature in order to not only bolster thier speed, but combine thier attacks with the varying properties of the wind release to overwhelm the opponent. Baki, a Sunagakure ninja was also known to supplement his Taijutsu with the Wind Element. The specialty Taijutsu technique, Leaf Dragon God is also a clear indication of an example of this Fighting Style and its properties serve as a core to many of the techniques.

Description on the Abilities and Inner Workings of the Style:

In the Narutoverse, the Wind nature focuses on making the user's chakra as sharp and thin as possible, or as a large concussive force. Notably, techniques like Blade of Wind, use intangible and near invisible pinpoint strikes to slash at the unsuspecting opponent. This technique is so simple, that the user creates it through the use of hand gestures making it much faster than standard ninjutsu. The Whirlwind Cutting Fist is no exception. As mentioned, the style revolves mainly around the Leopard Kung Fu style, which the power of this style is derived from its aggressive speed.

Leopard kung fu is a hit, damage and run style designed to overcome superior forces with inferior resources. Counter attacks are sudden, indirect and short, with the aim of landing a debilitating technique. Offensive Techniques are geared towards single, two or three technique combinations that cause a lot of damage, disorientate or even blind the attacker. Blocking is wasted in Leopard - the style can be summed up with "Why block when you can hit?" It does not rely on rooted stances, and would only assume a stance while attacking in order to launch at the opponent.

The most interesting factor when it comes to the Whirlwind Cutting Fist is that it uses pure muscle movements to generate and manipulate slicing air currents much like the Leaf Dragon God technique. By flexing the user's hand muscles or performing powerful hand rotations, the user can generate razor sharp whirlwinds that not only chop the opponent up but push them back with varying degrees of force depending on the proximity to the eye of the whirlwind. These techniques although they rely on only muscle control can be supplemented with added chakra to enhance the power and range of certain techniques that are created by this style.

When chakra is added to this technique, the user can strike the air creating a nearly invisible barrier with his wind chakra. The barrier works well against fast-moving opponents, as it causes the air particles to turn elastic and sends an oncoming opponent flying.

Description: The user will hold their hands in a way it resembles a leopard's claws, the user will then strike out at the opponent with a series of claw-like attacks. As the user strikes, gashes will appear on the target drawing blood even if the attack misses. By adding chakra to the technique, it can potentially prove fatal as the user's wind nature will create larger and deeper gashes in the target.

Additional effects and Restrictions:

  • Practioners of this style are required to be labeled a Taijutsu Master, meaning they must have mastered basic Taijutsu and the Advanced NB Taijutsu.
  • Must have mastered the Wind Element
  • For those who specialize in this style, due to the heavy influence on the use of hand gestures for striking and the additional emphasis on speed, practioners of this style have developed superior hand-eye coordination in relation to most standard strong fist users. This translates to the user having better reflexes and allows them to perform hand related movements much faster than the average ninja.
Declined: This is would clash with both Daemon's CFS and Nathan's Graceful Fist style (utilizing wind currents to cut the opponent in conjunction with taijutsu movements).

Rapid Scope - ( Jinsokuna no Han'i )

Type: TechTai

Background: This style was founded by a strange wandering warrior, who researched Ninja Tech extensively until he developed an extremely precise weapon. The man grew up in a place called Tilted Towers, a savage land where the concept of 'peace' simply did not exist. It was a land of constant battle, and the weak shinobi needed advantages over the naturally gifted shinobi to simply survive. Thus, the Rapid Scope style was developed.

Description on the Abilities and Inner Workings of the Style:

The rapid scope style is very dependent upon the weapon that the style is based off of. In order to utilize the style, the user must have access to the unique weapon that the Style is reliant upon. The sniper rifle is a new, unique, piece of ninja tech, allowing the user to send projectiles at the opponent at extremely high speeds. The sniper rifle has a low firing rate compared to other ninja tech weapons, but compensates with higher projectile speed, and increased accuracy. The sniper rifle itself is a custom tech that will be submitted separately to this style, and will be explained in more detail in the actual Custom Tech submission.

The style allows the user to fire projectiles of elemental chakra from his rifle, or to coat metallic bullets with chakra as well. Moreover, users of this style are capable of using fuuinjutsu to seal other items within the bullets as well (i.e adhesive syrup to trap the opponent if the bullet hits him, etc). The style focuses primarily on highly acrobatic movements, associated with the sniper rifle, timing shots at highly unorthodox timings/angles to deal maximum amounts of damage to the opponent.

Description:The user, as he runs, will take quick aim and shoot a special type of bullet at his opponent with his sniper. The bullet, as it's in the chamber, is imbued with chakra, and has sticky water sealed within it. Thus, as its shot, the seal forms, sealing about as much sticky water as is found in the C-Rank water technique of the same name. The sticky syrup would, once the bullet makes contact with the opponent, adhere to their skin, preventing any type of movement. The sticky syrup would emerge from the bullet in such a manner that it would slow the bullet's velocity as it strikes the opponent, as this technique is used to capture targets, not to kill.
Additional effects and Restrictions:

Due to being able to 'Quick-Scope', users of this style are able to aim and fire their weapons extremely quickly, taking about the same amount of time as someone would take to throw a regular ninja tool like a kunai/fire a pistol.

Because of the training to focus their reactions, users of this style are able to perceive more rapid movements than the average shinobi, being able to track up to 2x faster speeds than they normally would if they specialize in this style.

Users of this style need to be at least S-Class, and have access to Fuuinjutsu in order to learn this style.

Giant Tortoise Style (Ogame Ryu)

Type: Kenjutsu/Nin-kenjutsu

Background: The Giant Tortoise Style was created in the Land of Iron by a swordsman who had observed a large shinobi battle. During the battle he made note of the different elements the ninja used and how those elements acted. After returning to the land of iron he began experimenting with both movements in order to recreate the nature of the elements he saw. Over the next decade he developed the Giant Tortoise Style as well as the Ogame Dojo, where it would be taught.

Description on the Abilities and Inner Workings of the Style: This style revolved around five main forms, each representing a different element. The different forms have their own strengths and weaknesses and usually a person trained in this school will have certain styles which fit their persona. After several samurai in the Land of Iron learned to unlock their elemental chakra for short periods of time, some of these techniques were combined with their actual elements to increase their strength.

Ikazuchi Kata: The first form is Ikazuchi Kata (Form of the Thunder and Lightning God) in which the user relies on fast and direct movements to attack the opponent.

Description: The form of thunder and lightning God is a style of the Ogame school which focuses on raw speed to attack the target. In this technique the swordsman will stand sideways and crouch down with their right shoulder tilted down. They will hold their sword with both hands vertically in front of the back shoulder and behind the head. They will then release their strength and throw their body towards the ground, appearing to fall. The hard fall will create speed which is then shot forward by using all of their strength to push off their back foot to create acceleration. This sudden burst of speed catches the opponent off guard as they're not expecting a lazy fall to turn into an extremely fast movement. The swordsman then finishes with and upward slash across the target's torso. If the swordsman is capable, they can add a lightning aspect to this attack by imbuing their blade with lightning, increasing its cutting ability slightly.

~Can only be tracked by two tomoe sharingan and above.


Kagatsuchi Kata: The second form is Kagutsuchi Kata (Form of the Fire God) in which the swordsman utilizes their entire bodies to produce powerful attacks capable of breaking through steel.

Description: The form of the fire god is a stance of the Ogame school in which the swordsman focuses on raw power for their attacks. In this technique the swordsman holds the sword over their head in their right hand with the tip pointed down so the blade is vertical and splitting their face. Their left hand is held horizonatally over their head with the fist bisecting the right elbow. They then flick the sword up while at the same time flicking their left hand up so both the sword and their left hand are now pointing up, and then they will bring the sword down in a whipping motion putting the full force of the attack in the tip of the blade. They use their entire body by dropping to the ground and bringing the left arm down as well to create as much power as possible. This makes their attacks capable of breaking through standard weapons such as kunai, shuriken, and even other standard swords. This technique can be upgraded through the addition of fire chakra causing the blade to glow red and sear through its target.

Oboro Kata: The third form is Oboro Kata (Form of the Moon God; Form of the Void) where the swordsman uses specific body movements to simultaneously dodge an attack while also closing distance.

By doing this they move into extremely close range while the opponent over extends themselves, creating an opening for attack while the opponent is incapable of defending themselves. This can only be used to avoid certain techniques such as other kenjutsu or taijutsu, or even narrow elemental techniques. Larger techniques such as large fireballs would be too large to avoid.

Mizuchi Kata: The fourth form is Mizuchi Kata (Form of the Water God) where the user performs fluid movements by changing their grip mid attack. This causes the attacks to suddenly and fluidly change their course allowing them to slip past the defense of an enemy.

Description: The form of the water dragon is a style of the Ogame school which focuses on bypassing an enemy's guard with a quick alteration of the attack. In this technique the swordsman stands with their left foot forward and knees slightly bent. They hold their sword over their right shoulder with their left forearm horizontal across their chest and their right forearm vertical at their side and their hands gripped on the sword just at their shoulder. The swordsman then steps forward and begins to swing the sword in a straight vertical motion. The obvious defense to this is to meet the sword high as it comes down. But as the swordsman swings down they quickly switch their hand position so the blade deviates to the left before continuing downward, creating an S-shaped attack. The quick movement allows the swordsman to move their blade around the target's defense and hit them.

Dokou Kata: The fifth form is the Dokou Kata (Form of the Earth God) where the user focuses on stout and powerful defenses to deflect, disarm or destroy an opponent's weapon while opening their defenses to attack.

Description: This technique is used to both block an incoming attack and open an enemy's defenses. When faced with an incoming attack the user will position their blade to completely stop the attack. Rather than deflecting it, its positioned so the blades/weapons reach a stalemate and become locked. At this point the user takes a step forward while twisting their blade, pushing their opponent off balance and to the ground while also disarming them of their weapon. This leaves them wide open to a follow up attack. The user, if capable, can channel earth chakra through their blade to increase its defensive capabilities. This technique is only useful against other physical attacks such as kenjutsu or taijutsu. Elemental techniques such as fire, lightning or wind would be un-blockable through this method, though earth and water techniques can be split in half.

Additional effects and Restrictions: This style involves an incredible knowledge and control over one's own body movements. Mastery of different forms give the swordsman advantages over others. A practitioner in this style is capable of mastering up to two of the five forms and gain the bonuses from those, the two forms they master must be stated in their biography (though they're still capable of using all five). This style is also usable by both Samurai and Shinobi, though Samurai are only able to take advantage of the elemental additions to the techniques if they possess the means to use elemental chakra (Zen's Harmony technique). They cannot receive bonuses from any other custom fighting style.

  • Lightning: Increases base speed by one rank
  • Void: Increases base reaction time by one rank

Giant Tortoise Style (Ogame Ryu)

Type: Kenjutsu/Nin-kenjutsu

Background: The Giant Tortoise Style was created in the Land of Iron by a swordsman who had observed a large shinobi battle. During the battle he made note of the different elements the ninja used and how those elements acted. After returning to the land of iron he began experimenting with both movements in order to recreate the nature of the elements he saw. Over the next decade he developed the Giant Tortoise Style as well as the Ogame Dojo, where it would be taught.

Description on the Abilities and Inner Workings of the Style: This style revolved around five main forms, each representing a different element. The different forms have their own strengths and weaknesses and usually a person trained in this school will have certain styles which fit their persona. After several samurai in the Land of Iron learned to unlock their elemental chakra for short periods of time, some of these techniques were combined with their actual elements to increase their strength.

Ikazuchi Kata: The first form is Ikazuchi Kata (Form of the Thunder and Lightning God) in which the user relies on fast and direct movements to attack the opponent.

Description: The form of thunder and lightning God is a style of the Ogame school which focuses on raw speed to attack the target. In this technique the swordsman will stand sideways and crouch down with their right shoulder tilted down. They will hold their sword with both hands vertically in front of the back shoulder and behind the head. They will then release their strength and throw their body towards the ground, appearing to fall. The hard fall will create speed which is then shot forward by using all of their strength to push off their back foot to create acceleration. This sudden burst of speed catches the opponent off guard as they're not expecting a lazy fall to turn into an extremely fast movement. The swordsman then finishes with and upward slash across the target's torso. If the swordsman is capable, they can add a lightning aspect to this attack by imbuing their blade with lightning, increasing its cutting ability slightly.
~Can only be used by a person trained in the Ogame school of kenjutsu.
~Can only be used thrice per battle.
~Can only be tracked by two tomoe sharingan and above.


Kagatsuchi Kata: The second form is Kagutsuchi Kata (Form of the Fire God) in which the swordsman utilizes their entire bodies to produce powerful attacks capable of breaking through steel.

Description: The form of the fire god is a stance of the Ogame school in which the swordsman focuses on raw power for their attacks. In this technique the swordsman holds the sword over their head in their right hand with the tip pointed down so the blade is vertical and splitting their face. Their left hand is held horizonatally over their head with the fist bisecting the right elbow. They then flick the sword up while at the same time flicking their left hand up so both the sword and their left hand are now pointing up, and then they will bring the sword down in a whipping motion putting the full force of the attack in the tip of the blade. They use their entire body by dropping to the ground and bringing the left arm down as well to create as much power as possible. This makes their attacks capable of breaking through standard weapons such as kunai, shuriken, and even other standard swords. This technique can be upgraded through the addition of fire chakra causing the blade to glow red and sear through its target.

Oboro Kata: The third form is Oboro Kata (Form of the Moon God; Form of the Void) where the swordsman uses specific body movements to simultaneously dodge an attack while also closing distance.

Description: The form of the void is a style of the Ogame school in which the swordsman makes quick movements to simultaneously dodge an attack and close the distance on their target. With this technique the swordsman rotates their body to narrowly avoid an incoming attack while simultaneously stepping forward to close the distance to their opponent. By doing this they move into extremely close range while the opponent over extends themselves, creating an opening for attack while the opponent is incapable of defending themselves. This can only be used to avoid certain techniques such as other kenjutsu or taijutsu, or even narrow elemental techniques. Larger techniques such as large fireballs would be too large to avoid.

Mizuchi Kata: The fourth form is Mizuchi Kata (Form of the Water God) where the user performs fluid movements by changing their grip mid attack. This causes the attacks to suddenly and fluidly change their course allowing them to slip past the defense of an enemy.

Description: The form of the water dragon is a style of the Ogame school which focuses on bypassing an enemy's guard with a quick alteration of the attack. In this technique the swordsman stands with their left foot forward and knees slightly bent. They hold their sword over their right shoulder with their left forearm horizontal across their chest and their right forearm vertical at their side and their hands gripped on the sword just at their shoulder. The swordsman then steps forward and begins to swing the sword in a straight vertical motion. The obvious defense to this is to meet the sword high as it comes down. But as the swordsman swings down they quickly switch their hand position so the blade deviates to the left before continuing downward, creating an S-shaped attack. The quick movement allows the swordsman to move their blade around the target's defense and hit them.

Dokou Kata: The fifth form is the Dokou Kata (Form of the Earth God) where the user focuses on stout and powerful defenses to deflect, disarm or destroy an opponent's weapon while opening their defenses to attack.

Description: This technique is used to both block an incoming attack and open an enemy's defenses. When faced with an incoming attack the user will position their blade to completely stop the attack. Rather than deflecting it, its positioned so the blades/weapons reach a stalemate and become locked. At this point the user takes a step forward while twisting their blade, pushing their opponent off balance and to the ground while also disarming them of their weapon. This leaves them wide open to a follow up attack. The user, if capable, can channel earth chakra through their blade to increase its defensive capabilities. This technique is only useful against other physical attacks such as kenjutsu or taijutsu. Elemental techniques such as fire, lightning or wind would be un-blockable through this method, though earth and water techniques can be split in half.

-Can be used three times per battle.
-Can defend against B-rank and below attacks physical attacks (A-rank if used with earth chakra).



Additional effects and Restrictions: This style involves an incredible knowledge and control over one's own body movements. Mastery of different forms give the swordsman advantages over others. A practitioner in this style is capable of mastering up to two of the five forms and gain the bonuses from those, the two forms they master must be stated in their biography (though they're still capable of using all five). This style is also usable by both Samurai and Shinobi, though Samurai are only able to take advantage of the elemental additions to the techniques if they possess the means to use elemental chakra (Zen's Harmony technique). They cannot receive bonuses from any other custom fighting style.
