~Custom Fighting Styles~

Every now and then it comes a time when you feel like creating your own special doctrine of combat, your own special fighting style. They are aditional fighting styles that may be Taijutsu Styles, Kenjutsu Styles or any other weapon styles. They can be vary variable and basically include any type of additional fighting style that fits either within the Hand to Hand Combat or the Weapons Combat.



~How to Submit a Custom Fighting Style~

Many members seem to have difficulty with creating an understandable, approvable, and original custom fighting style, so here is a short but in depth analysis on what your fighting style should consist of.

Step One: Choose a name with a Japanese translation

Use this Online Translator to help you. Be sure to name the style correctly. Don't use Japanese in Kanji form; use standard Romanji instead.

Step Two: Choose the type of your custom style:

This section, while many people blow past it, needs to be accurate because if you want to include a certain ability in your custom fighting style, the type of your style needs to be consistent with whatever that ability may be. For example, if you create a GenTaijutsu style, then your CFS cannot include elemental manipulation unless you include Ninjutsu in the type of style. Stay consistent.

Step Three: Background

This is where you create a short background of your fighting style. Not only do you need to explain the reason that the style was created, but you also need to include anything essential to showing that this style is possible. Do not write a short story here, however. Explain the essentials: who created the style and how, when, and why did they create it. This isn't your biography’s history; we don’t need to hear every detail of the epic battle in which the style was made.

Step Four: Description and Inner Workings of the Style

Obviously, this is the most important and focused part of any good submission. First, allow me to say this, if you do not mention an ability in this section then it does not exist in your style. Second, if you mention an ability in your background but don’t mention it in here, your style will be declined for inconsistencies between the description and history. Speaking of history, this is not where you include additional history of your style. There’s a section for history, and a section for abilities; this is the latter. Everything about how your style works and the abilities included in it should be included right here.

Step Five: Example Techniques

Most of you know by now that this is now a mandatory part of submissions. How many techniques you give as an example is up to you, but a minimum of one is necessary and the checker of your submission reserves the right to ask you to make more examples if he or she does not find your current example(s) adequate.

Step Six: Additional Effects and Restrictions

What you put here is all relative to what is included in the custom fighting style. Meaning that the additional effects that you have need to make sense with the fighting style. If you were submitting a style involving slow and powerful strikes, it hardly makes sense for one of your additional effects to involve increased speed. In addition this is also not where you jam pack a bunch of speed or strength boosting abilities to make your character more powerful. As a general rule, two passive effects are a good amount. That said, you cannot make these effects too great. A custom fighting style is not the place to give your character Lee’s speed or the Raikage’s strength. Finally, if you want to have extensive additional effects, then you’d better have extensive additional restrictions as well.

Step Seven: Wait for Approval

Key word: wait. Unless you have a clear question in which you simply did not understand something that you checker said or you are explicitly asked to contact a moderator, do not message a moderator about an unapproved, unchecked, or pending technique. You are not allowed to message a moderator requesting them to discuss with you how to get your custom approved.

*Things that do not qualify a Custom Fighting Style*

Below are some very common submissions that we have seen that we have constantly told people do not qualify as Custom Fighting Styles. Read this section closely, because if your fighting style violates any of the three categories, you will be referenced back to one of these rules:

  • Anything that can be done free-form is not a Custom Fighting Style. In other words, most real life styles of fighting are already encompassed by normal taijutsu. Aikido, Jiu-Jitsu, boxing; these can all be done with normal taijutsu because they only involve certain movements.
  • Contrary to popular belief, simply focusing elemental or basic chakra into a weapon does not qualify as a CFS. This can already be done by normal ninja both in the manga/anime and using simple custom techniques, so a CFS is unnecessary here.
  • Modes are not CFSes. A Custom Fighting Style is meant to change how you fight, not allow you to enter a mode or state that temporarily increases your taijutsu/ninjutsu prowess or allows you to temporarily move at blinding speeds. There’s a clear difference in something that changes your fighting style and something that enhances your fighting style. A CFS is meant primarily to do the first of the two.

~Formatting Restrictions~​

-No submission that uses font or formatting alterations such as underline, bold, allignement, color, size, spoilers, etc will be checked. The only exception is that you are allowed to Bold or underline the title of your style when you submitt and you can use spoilers for videos or images you need to post for references.

-An exception to the above rule is the requirement to bold the alterations on re-submissions. Its required that every altered or add part is bolded. If you simply take out something, write beneath the jutsu stating "I took out the part where...".

-When submitting multiple CFS, please do so in separate posts.



~Resubmissions~

-When resubmitting a custom style that was previously declined, you need to quote the original submission and bold the parts you changed in your new submission.

-When a custom style is declined you'll need to wait 15 days to resubmit.



~Declined, Do Not Resubmit~

-When your style was declined with a "Do Not Resubmit" note, you can't resubmit that style without the permission of the Staff member who checked that style.



~Limit on Submissions, Teachings and Specialties~​

-You need to be at least S-Class Ninja Rank and a member of the forum for 6 months to submit your Custom Fighting Styles.

-You can only submit 2 Custom Fighting Styles of your own.

-Each style can be taught to 6 people (according to the custom rules that each custom can be taught to 6 people each).

-To teach someone the S-Rank moves of your custom fighting style you need to have a valid Sensei status (as stated in the customs rules).

-Although a bio may use more than one Custom Fighting Style, each bio can only specialize in one fighting style. In other words, the minor boosts that a Fighting Style gives to your bio only apply if its specialized in it, which means only from one Custom Fighting Style.



~Custom Fighting Styles Techniques/Moves~

-These are to be submitted in the Thread and should follow the normal templates for a custom technique and all the rules of that thread.

-Each Custom Fighting Style can have 10 techniques, which can be submitted by anyone who learned the style if they have permission from the original owner of the style. Despite being submitted by different people, these techniques need to be taught to all that learned the style if approved and will still count towards the global 10 limit for the overall CFS. Only the owner of the style can give such permission and its not something that can be changed once given.



~Custom Jutsu Users~​

-The posting of your approved Custom Fighting Style on your Custom Jutsu Thread is mandatory, along side with link to the post of approval.

-Custom Fighting Styles don't count towards your 35 own Custom Techniques limit and each style can only be taught to 6 people (exception made for all the styles pre approved before this thread)



~Spam~
-"Markers", or empty posts (with no actual custom style being submitted) created for the sole purpose of being edited later on, are strictly forbidden and shall be considered as nothing more than spam.

-Any post that does not contain a custom style submission is considered spam and thereby falls under the violation of the global rules of Narutobase.



~Ripping and Copying~

-You cannot copy or bluntly base your submissions in another members submission without his or hers permission. This is strictly forbidden and is a grave offense.

-If you find a submission that you feel is too much like yours or that is clearly and bluntly a copy of any of yours, please contact one of the RP mods with the link to your style and the one that supposedly copies yours.



~Edits~

-No one is allowed to edit his/her post after a moderator has already edited it. Resubmit if you feel that your style needs to be altered in some way.



~The Red Rule~

-The red rule exists and you should check it if you don't know what it is. Bugging any RP mod regarding styles that were declined and to which you weren't required to contact the given mod, is a breaking of said rule. The techniques are declined for a reason which is most of the times explained even if we are not required to do so. This is never respected but I urge you to start taking this seriously.



~Disclaimer~

-NB's moderators have every right to deny any style we wish without true explanation, because some styles submitted do not reach a certain criteria that we feel are needed for the submission to be accepted. Please do not complain, please do not argue, just take it as it is and please move on by creating something else. Most styles however will state a reason why it was not accepted.

-This thread follows the same basic rules of the Thread.

(Dansei Sentō) Elastic Combat
Type: Nintaijutsu
Background: Orochimaru became amazed at modification and experiments with his body. He wanted to become more like a snake. He developed the ability to extend any body part beyond their normal limitations. This gave him the ability to to create a jutsu to transform his lower half into that of a snake tail. He took this ability and became a fighting style to use his body to extend his reach of his close quarters combat and being able to use his great chakra control to make them deadly.
Description on the Abilities and Inner Workings of the Style:
The fighting style is based on using "(Nan Kaizou) - Soften Modification" as a fighting style and not for spying and getting close to becoming a snake. The user would extend their body part out using the force behind the body part to deliver damage. This style is also to increase the range of their attacks also and speed depending on how far they extend their body parts.

The user would use their arms and legs to extend their selves out of range, evading, or even attack or throwing someone.

The user of this style would have faster extending and retracting rates then normal.

Description: The user extends both of their arms having them swirl together while moving forward towards their target. The user would grab their opponent and leap over them bringing their arms up and over slamming their target into the ground creating a crater that has a radius of one meter.

Description: The user would place one or two hands on the ground(or holding on a pole or something with a steady ground) in a push up(or just holding on it with their hand) and extends their body out by moving backwards. Once the user would move to their maximum amount they can extend, the user would allow themselves to move forward at twice of their running speed from the user acting as a slingshot. The user could extend out any part of their body to attack their target with or this could be used as an evasion jutsu.

Description: The user extends their hand behind them to the full amount out retracts it at an angle so it can extend forward completing a right or left hook to their target. This punch is twice as fast

-Must have cannon bio that uses Soft Physique Modification or custom bio with with the surgery completed
-Increased chakra control(limit: great)


✦ Declined, for one you would need to link where you actual had the jutsu done on your bio. Second, this entire style would clash with Rubber Release and their approved CEJ so it's already a stretch to approve this. Also, what defines great chakra control? Generally, that's either Fuuin masters, Hyuga users and mednin so you'd have to be one of the three, and the first is only applicable if you're a medic so you'd need to be a medic or Hyuga if I'm right. ✦

Type: Taijutsu

Name: スコーピオンの拳/ Sukōpion no ken/ Scorpion Fist

Background:

With the Scorpion Fist it enabled for the Human puppet to be capable of close range fighting as well as long range fighting. This style involves taijutsu attacks combined with puppetry to create a unique deadly attack altogether. Sasori while using this fighting style enables his body to attack the enemy in a faster and deadlier way. This form of fighting combines ordinary puppet jutsu with hand-to-hand combat. Sasori or the human puppet using this style can use a variety of special movement such as twisting, rotating, spinning to attack the enemy in ways which wouldn’t normally be possible by humans. It is also possible for user of this style to change their body position to dodge an incoming attack. It is also capable of using the joints on their body to their advantage

This style was based off of Sasori’s human puppet that he transformed himself into at a young age. It was created so that Sasori could surpass the limitations of ordinary ninja. Due to his puppet body he was capable of moving his body in ways which a normal person couldn’t dream of doing. His maneuverable body enabled him the ability to attack enemies in new and innovative ways than before he was a puppet himself. Sasori invented this fighting style shortly after becoming a human puppet himself, and for a good reason. He changed his body into a puppet so that he could be a puppeteer, but not be afraid of close range combat. Due to him being capable of fighting in close and long ranges it made him a truly formidable opponent. Sasori has truly surpassed the human limitations of a human body in some aspects.

Description and Inner Workings of the Style:

To start off, this style revolves around the user manipulating their body in a way to attack as well as defend from enemies by moving their body in ways that wouldn't normally be possible by humans. In this fighting style the user will also use their speciality of chakra threads in combination with their own attacks to help attack enemies in unique ways. The types of movements that are commonly associated with this fighting style are: spinning, rotating, bending, or twisting all in ways to attack enemies from different angles than regularlly in normal tajutsu. One could also say this fighting style mimics how a human would be capable of being double jointed, but to another extent as the user of this style does not have to worry about self injury allowing them to even perform things such as completly turning their body frame to another angle. What is mainly meant by this style being able to take normal actions to another level is that because of how puppets lack bones and a human structure it enables them the ability to move their body in ways that would otherwise be impossible for regular people, and not have to worry about self-harm. Additonally, this style does not involve outside factors such as swords or blades which would be specific to a certain puppet, but instead focuses on the puppet body itself and using that as a medium for techniques. It is also possible for the user to mix in basic puppetry techniques with this fighting style, but only the ones that all puppets or users are capable of using and performng such as the chakra shield or chakra threads.

Description: Sasori or the human puppet will begin to spin one or both of their hands at a fast rate. Once the arm is spinning it would be a seen a fast blur of movement. Now that their hands are spinning that user will launch a fist at the target which would cause more damage than a normal fist, and most likely result in that body part to be broken or twisted so much that they’d possibly be unable to continue the fight. With this technique the user is capable of having the spinning arms move in a forwards motion or backwards motion. (Must be specified which one)

(Eien no raundohausukikku) Eternal RoundHouse Kick

Description: The user starts off by placing one or both hand on the ground in order to lift themselves upward to do a handstand. While doing the hand stand the user will then avert their legs into a horizontal position. Now that they are in motion the user will begin to spin their legs rapidly similar to a helicopter’s rotors. With their legs moving it would appear as a blur. Anything within the vicinity of the user is at risk of being hit, so this is a useful technique to use when dealing with multiple foes.
-Can only be used four times
-Must have a puppet body

(Sureddo panchi) Threaded Punch

Description: This is a form of Scorpion of style which involves the usage of chakra threads. The user first will throw a feint punch at the target. When coming into contact with the target the user will slightly touch them. Unknowingly once contact was made the user secretly attached a chakra thread to the designated area. With the chakra thread attached the user will forcefully pull the hand with the chakra thread closer to himself so that the opponent is also forcefully being pulled closer. With their free hand the user will begin to spin it rapidly so upon contact with the target they instantly destroy it, if it was structure, or if it was a person they would painfully distort that part of their body.
-Can only be used four times
-Must have a puppet body

(Tōritsu ichi) Inverted Position
Type: Supplementary

Damage: N/A
Description: This is a technique the user will use when they see their opponent launching an incoming attack such as a punch or kick. Taking advantage of their puppet body they will forcefully turn their body sideways almost instantly. This works by turning their waist which is capable of being disconnected and turned. So when turning sideways they would have been able to dodge an attack heading for their upper body causing for the attack to miss, and simply pass right by them. There are also other usages of this technique which includes being able to bend their back to a 90 degree angle also enabling the user the ability to dodge attacks. The way the user decides to turn their body is up to them as long as it is within reason of what this jutsu allows.
-Can only be used three times
-Must have a puppet body

Assassination Arts (Ansatsugeijutsu)
Type:NinTaijutsu
Background: This style was created by one of Amegakure's hunter-nins who thought that their job could be carried out more efficiently if both everyone was using a similar style to dispense the target as well as if they could minimize the effort needed to take down a elite rogue ninja. He spent spent several years thinking of how to do exactly that before experimenting and testing methods that made some missions harder than it needed to be but he finally figured it out around the same time Zabuza defected from the Kirigakure. He used his knowledge of the raiton element, his knowledge of ninjutsu, his choice in weaponry, and his experience in stealth and body knowledge to create a deadly combination of silent assassination and the ability to pierce through most objects with ease.
Description on the Abilities and Inner Workings of the Style: This style of fighting involves using stealth and using raitons properties, rapid vibrating, to increase the cutting or piercing effects of thrown weapons. As well as knowing the vital areas of the body to end a target's life quickly and painlessly or to disrupt the muscles responsiveness due to the electricity being able to numb plus the vibrations can disturb blood flow if the weapon get close enough to the blood vessels. This is achieved with hidden and fluid movements done at a slightly slower speed than that of a taiajutsu master. This style is based around speed and flexibility is the main point of this style so as to allow the user to dodge and attack at nearly the same time. The weapons used in this style is primarily senbon and a single dagger. This style also incorporates a level of ninjutsu as well as elemental.

Description: The user will charge six senbon with raiton chakra causing them to vibrate thus increasing the piercing power before throwing these senbon at a target's shoulder or leg. Upon contact they will pierce the object blocking the target area, unless it is to thick/hard, before piercing the shoulder. Following the initial pierce it will slightly numb the muscle area as well as make moving the target area harder to move but not impossible.

(Ansatsugeijutsu: Suterusu) Assassination Arts: Stealth
Type: Supplementary

Chakra: 20[+5 per turn]
Damage: N/a
Description: The user will perform a single hand seal while focusing chakra all around themselves forming a cloak of sorts before altering the properties of the chakra to match the color of the surroundings constantly allowing the user to move around nearly invisible. The user will not be able to run due to the sound giving away the position.
Notes/Restrictions:
~Lasts for 2 turns with 1 turn cooldowns
~Dojutsu users can see them
~Inuzuka clan can smell the user
~Any A-rank or Above will cancel the move instantly
~Speaking give away their last position if moving

(Ansatsugeijutsu: Yoha) Assassination Arts: Aftermath
Type: Offensive
Rank: B
Range: Short
Chakra: 20
Damage: 40
Description: The user will charge raiton chakra into their dagger causing it to vibrate more violently than normal before sprinting towards the opponent. Upon reaching the opponent he/she will suddenly increase their speed slightly as they slice into their opponent so that it is a clean cut with little resistence. As they slice into the opponent's side(just below the rib cage) they will discharge the raiton chakra into the wound so that it numbs the opponents senses of the area until the user is 4 feet away. After reaching this distance the user will undo the stored raiton chakra stored in their opponent's wound so that the opponent is stunned by the pain coming at the opponent all at once.
Notes/Restrictions:
~Requires 2 turn cool downs
~Can only be used 6 times
~This movement's speed is trackable by dojutsu users and taijutsu specialists

Additional effects and Restrictions:
Their are 4 ranks and as such receive differing levels of the bonus this style provides.

  • Receives +3 speed levels relative to speed chart
  • Gains great reflexes and flexibility allowing faster handseal forming and easier dodging of free-form things
  • Is slightly weaker in strength to a strong fist user
Cloaked Dagger(Elite)
  • Receives +2 speed levels relative to speed chart
  • Gains good reflexes and flexibility allowing slightly boosted handseal forming
Dagger(Intermediate)
  • Receives +1 speed levels relative to speed chart
  • Gains better reflexes and flexibility
Shank(Beginner)
  • Recieves +.5 speed levels relative to speed chart
  • Gains slightly better reflexes and flexibility
In order to learn this style one must have started lightning/raiton training and ninjutsu training. Due to the chakra control required as well one must be at least Jounin rank.


✦ Declined, for starters this collides with existing CJ posted over the years. Second, the speed boosts you posted are not allowed at all nor the handseal and dodging aspects. Overally, this is just old CJ with speed, handseal and dodging boosting. ✦

Forage Ninjutsu (Shiryō Ninpo - 飼料忍術)
Type: Non-Elemental Ninjutsu
Background: Farm lands in Naruto-series have been shown in the anime and manga so many times with even horses proving there's agriculture. For where agriculture exists so will straw production. Straw and hay tend to hit hard at it, they appear the same, but they’re very different products with very different purposes!

Hay is a crop that is grown specifically for the purpose of creating hay, while straw is a byproduct of different kinds of crops. Hay is geared toward being a nutrient-rich food for livestock, while straw is more often used for bedding instead of food. Straw also has a wide variety of uses, for everything from a compost pile to an energy source.

Like the old joke suggests, hay is for horses. When farmers plant a hay field, the field is harvested before the grains go to seed. This keeps valuable nutrients in the stalks and makes for a much more well-rounded diet for horses and other forms of livestock. Straw, on the other hand, is a byproduct of other types of grain crops. When crops like wheat, barley, and oats are harvested for their seed, the stalks are left behind. These stalks—which have been drained of most of their nutrients during the process of seed production—are harvested and baled to create straw.

Description on the Abilities and Inner Workings of the Style: Forage Ninjutsu (Shiryō Ninpo - 飼料忍術), simply put, is a style of non-elemental ninjutsu that utilizes the hay and straw. Created by farmers, the style uses chakra to harness the properties of hay and straw to enhance earth release or simply maim their opponents with shreds of dry stalk needles, each use is uniquely versatile.

This non-elemental ninjutsu in nature, is considered a specialized form of basic ninjutsu. The ninja uses chakra-infused Straw/hay to summon many more conjunctions of straw/hay forms. They can control and reshape even parts of their body with straw/hay at will, making such forms as weapons for attack, straw/hay airplanes for quick transport, or simply covering their enemy in bales of hay/straw, restricting and asphyxiating them. Forage can even enhance earth release for its known straw is used to bind clay and concrete. A mixture of clay and straw, known as cob, can be used as a building material for earth release jutsu giving the jutsu more resistance against their stronger counter-parts. The underneath plastered straw/hay, within the earth release jutsu provide some thermal mass, compressible and ductile structural strength, and acceptable fire resistance as well as thermal resistance (insulation). This while also allows seismic resistance, a more advanced art of use would be drawing nutrients from plant-based attacks. This enables Forage Ninjutsu to turn dry stalks of plant-based releases into sources for more Forage techniques.

Like other types of non-elemental ninjutsu; smoke, paper, and Ink. Forage exhibits a weakness against lightning/ fire based elements. Due to interactions against dry substances its intense blazing temperature leaves Forage jutsu encountering with it will most likely make it burn upon contact or when faced with flames it will sink through the flames turning into ash after passing. Forage is strong against earth based elements for after clashing with Forage, its more as refurbishment than damaging, because it drains the nutrients of the elements, making earth crumble to soil and wood to lose it’s nutrients. Forage Ninjutsu isn’t directly strong against Wood and Earth, but its prominently potent against them when the user summons wheat forms to emerge from wood or earth release encounters.

This will act like Cob, a natural building material made from stuff much like subsoil, water, some kind of fibrous organic material (typically straw), and sometimes hay. Cob is fireproof, resistant to seismic activity, and long lasting. It can be used to create artistic works, sculptural forms for all purpose of the natural building and sustainability movements.

±Background±
The Razor's Edge is an advanced nintaijutsu style which focuses on the users ability to manipulate iron sand, windstreams and taijutsu in a fast combo. Its a very recent developed style by the next generation Sunagakure masters of the magnetic release and is considered the peak of any type of taijutsu involved with iron sand. Developed by Skozu Ironstorm, the style would be recognized as top-tier taijutsu because of how it works and the fact that it is a beautiful style to watch. The reason for its development was because there was a severe lack of close combat techniques involving iron sand and was always seen as the arts weakness. However with the style developed, not many taijutsu users have managed to face the Razor's edge and being able to stay alive afterwards. Infact, no one.
±Description on the Abilities and Inner Workings of the Style±
The physics of the style is build up on the users ability to focus magnetic chakra and wind chakra at the same time and combine them together. The style has a short-mid range and mostly only used when facing close-combat opponents. The style works like this. The user will become a cloud of iron sand. This iron sand is then shaped into whatever the user wants, being a square, a cloud, a pillar etc. These shapes are created through the use of the wind release. When the iron sand and the wind is mixed together, they form a razor sharp wind that cuts through flesh like a knife cuts through butter, hence the name of the style. While in this formation, the user can create mirages of themselves formed out of iron sand, again the mirage is shaped through the users wind chakra. These mirages are only made to fool the opponent, but they are also what attacks the opponent. The mirages usually surround the target, causing more confusion. Another factor that can be a pain for the opponent while using this style is sunlight, which is easily reflect through the iron sand and causes a flashing sensation while being surrounded by the mirages. The mirages will harden on the users will and be able to deliver very powerful punches directed at the opponent. These punches are loaded by pressurized wind and compact iron, making them almost as lethal as bullets although not travelling nearly as fast, they can still knock out targets and pierce through rocky armors of the same rank as the punches. Two mirages can be formed at the same time at maximum, where only one of them can attack at a time. They are both identical to eachother. The biggest problem when facing this style is the fact that the opponent is surrounded by a mist of razor sharp winds while being assaulted by a mirage that appear anywhere in the mist as they please. Opponents are quickly blinded by the sand. Because the sand is controlled by strong currents of wind, they can also be countered by strong currents of wind but due to the iron sands weight those currents used to counter techniques needs to be a rank above. If one of the mirages takes a strong punch, they dissolve into the mist and the opponent is left with the mirage that is left. If both mirages are taken out, the user will reform to his/hers original state.

Mirage Utility
As stated before, the mirages are currents of wind formed by iron sand and thus are pertaining the same weakness/strength as the iron sand release - Currently neutral to all elements and variations. The looks of the mirages are the same as the image above and they move very swiftly, but their movement is dependent on how well the user of the technique is able to counter fast strikes and thus requires an in-depth explanation in their moves. Mirages can tank an S ranked attack once, A rank thrice and anything under A rank they are immune towards following elemental weakness/strength of iron sand. Should they take on a jutsu above S-rank they disperse instantly. They are extremely fast and can attack through kicks/fists or shoulders/knees just like a normal ninja with either closed fists or very sharp claws(again referring to the image above). A maximum of two mirages can be created per use of the style. A punch from a mirage depends on the user at will and can vary from B to S rank in strength. This punch will be able to puncture defenses weaker than the technique.

The Cloud
This is the spine of the technique and what makes it work. The cloud has a mid-range reach(15m wide+15m high) and is shaped completely by the users imagination. It cannot be formed underground. When an opponent is inside this cloud they are blinded by the razor sharp iron sand as they enter it and will take a -10 damage for every turn they are inside the cloud. The cloud itself is built upon an S-ranked wind technique and an S-ranked iron sand technique and can only be countered by equal terms. Some jutsus are also nullified when inside the cloud. These are specifically lightning and fire. Lightning will be nullified quite instantly by the strong wind currents and fire would basically blast the cloud to smithers, most likely killing the user inside of it. If fire is used inside the cloud, the iron sand will burst outwards in an omni-directional way. It would end the technique instantly and the user of the style would reform into their original state. However due to the strong currents of wind, again it would require an S-ranked fire jutsu to combust the technique and even then the user of the fire jutsu would have to be outside the cloud or otherwise combust themselves. The cloud can be deactivated at will. Activation and deactivation is taking up a slot in the users movecount and the cloud lasts at a maximum of 5 turns, being able to be create twice/battle.

✦ Declined, for starters the type would be Nintaijutsu if it were a style. To add on, this doesn't actually seem like a style but rather a Ninjutsu. I mean, look at the underlined part. You turn into iron sand and then manipulate this into any shape you want and then create a clone almost from it. You then give the mirages B rank immunity and able to tank 1 S rank. This means they already negate the point of jutsu if you use a B rank mirage and it can tank an A rank as well as 1 S rank...A suggestion, when creating CFS, dont include things like that because it makes it both unapprovable and difficult to work with if approved because you already limited yourself. Same with time restrictions like "this can only last 5 turns" or things similar to that as your customs will never be able to go against this. Also, CFS cant increase reaction times. The Cloud part also sounds like a ninjutsu ability. All together, it seems more like a Ninjutsu mode than a CFS as the taijutsu are just the results of normal contact with it. Even the parts I mentioned above with the tanking B ranks and lasting x turns sounds like a mode.

Sidenote, the colored line. You should recheck the S/W thread; "Weak to: Magnetic release generally won't affect you directly. The user of this KG in most cases needs to attack you with Gold/Iron or ninja tools, so use any tangible defense you can. Earth walls, strong Water defenses...etc. You could also use the fact that Lightning can be channeled in Iron/Gold to hit your opponent if he's in direct contact with Gold/Iron. While neutral, Lightning will also disrupt the magnetic fields, neutralizing the control of said substances and negating the techniques progression. In the few techniques that affect you directly, channeling lightning chakra disrupts the effects of them in equal ranks." It's neutral to energy based attacks and similar ones while tangible, solid defenses serve good as a defense against Iron Sand. ✦

Type: Fuuin-Buki-Ninjutsu

Background: Background: The Trick Arrow fighting style originated in Kirikagure during the Second Ninja War. During the war, invasions in Kirigakure was causing heavy damage in the village due to the inner political turmoil concerning its status as the Village Hidden in the Bloody Mist. On the brink of losing their place in the war, a faction of the village's army decided to counteract the guerrilla style warfare that their enemies were using, instead deciding to use a more tactical style of fighting: Trick Arrows. Several archers in the village constructed a special weapon to replace the conventional bows and arrows meant that were in use in order to utilize their existing Archery skills in a newer, more fluid and handsfree method to gain an advantage. Rather than full sized, sharp-tipped arrows, they developed considerably smaller projectiles designed to carry out other functions, such as blinding, trapping and brunt damage to the area with the use of their newly acquired skills of Fuuinjutsu. The usage of these arrow-based projectiles became successful, especially in the shrouded environment of the village's mist. With the mist severely hindering their enemies and their sight, the arrows misleading and hidden usages became a great asset in the war, becoming a major component in turning the war around for Kirigakure. The success of Trick Arrows established it as a staple among Kirigakure's ninja, being passed down within the village

Description on the Abilities and Inner Workings of the Style: The style revolves around the usage of special arrows called Trick Arrows. The arrows are typically not the full-sized bladed or pointed regular arrows, nor does the style utilize a conventional bow. Rather, the style utilizes specialized launchers that are made of chakra-responsive metal and are mounted on the user's wrist, with a Fuuin seal on the Launchers in the form of the Kanji for "Trick" on it. Through the insertion of chakra through the launchers and into the seal, the user is able to release from it the specialized arrows, with the release forcibly launching them towards a particular target once the specific arrow needed is launched.

The arrows utilized in the fighting style are miniature, appearing similar to a shrunken kunai or simply the tip of a normal arrow. Each of these arrows have on themselves the Kanji for "Trick" on them as well. As the launcher stores and releases the arrows from its "Trick" seal, the arrows "Trick" similarly holds within them several "tricks" as well, which can range from releasing weapons(such as kunais or shuriken or ninja wires or even larger arrows and other Trick Arrows) to materials such as flash bombs, boxing gloves, corrosive liquids, adhesives, etc. It is important to note that these materials are not made of chakra but simply pre-sealed within the arrows and the launchers prior to battle(basically the same concept as a ninja with Shuriken, kunai, flash bombs, etc. having them pre-stored on their bios). The seals can also contain Ninjutsu pre-sealed into them, similar to the Exploding Dragon Strike jutsu containing a pre-prepared Katon technique within the scroll, that can also be released along with and instead of weapons to achieve specific effects. Ninjutsu sealed into the Trick Arrows, however, are specific ones created for the Fighting Style(i.e., the user cannot release any canon/custom Ninjutsu from the Trick Arrows, only those described by the specific CFSJ submitted). Similarly, Trick Arrows may bear additional seals for added effects to enhance the versatility of the style.

The rapid unsealing and multitude of released arrows causes a barrage that tears the opponent open from the inside out, ripping their flesh apart at a rapid pace.

Description: The user will launch from either of their wrist launchers a red Trick Arrow with a blunt tip, rather than a sharpened one. A relatively weak attack, it serves more as a diversion tactic than anything to catch the opponent off guard in bigger attacks.

Additional effects and Restrictions: In order to learn and perform the Fighting Style, practitioners must have mastered Basic Fuuinjutsu. In addition, in order to match the speed of the arrows' movement in order to effectively and accurately use the fighting style, practitioners of Trick Arrow have have sharper reflexes than the average shinobi.

[Kapuseru bōjutsu] Capsule Bojutsu
Type: Ninjutsu/Bojutsu

Background:
Capsule Bojutsu was developed by baton wielding shinobi of Kirigakure alongside those of Otogakure as a way to incorporate there natural affinity to liquid elements and sound based techniques. It was firstly developed as a way to confuse/disorientate enemies who would enter close quarters combat with the users of this style, although when picked up by the shinobi of otogakure, it was given more offensive, advantage-giving abilities when accompanied with their sound techniques. Over the years, the style has become what it is today, a perfect infusion of the many different ninjutsu that went into it's creation as it travelled around the world and was added to in every place.

Description on the Abilities and Inner Workings of the Style: This style bases it's abilities around the use of hollowed out weaponry, such as batons, staffs, tonfa etc. Users of this style will manipulate liquids in order to fill or drain their chosen weapon at will. This is the base of everything else that this style has to offer and is the focal point of all its branching abilities. The two main benefits of doing so are,
1. Increasing and Decreasing the weight of your held weapon.
2. Changing the pitch of the sound the weapon makes upon contact.

A weapon with high volumes of water inside will be heavier and make lower pitched sounds upon connection with another object, lower volumes of water meaning the opposite, a lighter weapon with a higher pitched sound upon contact. Increasing and decreasing the weight of your weapon would keep your opponent on edge, every strike would feel different, every swing would have a different level of momentum behind it and would react differently to being blocked. The opponent could never feel comfortable with what they are about to defend against, unknowing of what they were being hit by.

Changing the sound that the weapon makes on contact is beneficial when paired with sound chakra as it allows the chakra to react in different ways. With a shot of sound chakra when your empty weapon connects with an object would produce a quick, high frequency sound wave which travels extremely quickly, causing whatever contacted the weapon to bounce off with great force.
A shot of sound chakra upon contact with a liquid filled weapon would cause a low frequency sound wave, a longer lasting, more spread wave that would cause the connecting object to vibrate profusely, possibly breaking its form apart or making an opponent lose his grip of a weapon. Huge impacts with this effect could conceivably break bones with the vibration, but this is only really achievable against those with enhanced strength and by shinobi capable of taking such a hit themselves. At no point does the user infuse their own weapon with sound chakra, in order to achieve these effects, the user will send sound chakra through the air and to the impact point of the weapon, the it will come into effect and gain the properties of the sound made.

Filling the weapons can be done passively with water just through the molding of suiton chakra, or with the active ability of a different liquid element. Weapons can also be made to have tiny holes in the sides or end that would allow the weapon to squirt or excrete whatever liquid is inside, this would again be done through the use of Capsule Bojutsu techniques.

Description: Upon impact with another object, the user will send a shot of sound chakra to the impact point, enhancing the impact and creating a soundwave with varying effects based on the pitch of the sound made.
- A weapon filled with liquid will make a low frequency sound on impact, this will cause the colliding objects to vibrate greatly, making it hard to hold onto and possibly breaking it apart should it be earthen in nature.
- A weapon emptied of liquid will make a high frequency sound on impact, this will cause a fast moving, high frequency sound wave to spark from the sound chakra and thus cause the colliding object to ricochet off of the users weapon with great speed and force.

Additional effects and Restrictions:
- Weapons used with this are not chakra based weapon, and at no point use chakra to enhance or give them their abilities. Chakra is thread through holes in the weapon and creates liquids within the weapons shell, this is the same process when getting the water out, chakra enters the weapon and pushes the liquid outwards. Sound chakra is only ever present outside the weapons, ready to create chaos at impact point but never sitting in the weapons themselves.


✦ Declined, I like this actually. I think it's pretty cool and vaguely reminds me of an idea I once had for a Sound Kenjutsu attack. A few things, the lines about a "shot of" Sound chakra should be edited; a shot seems weird to think about and suggests a small amount. It also is a little difficult to understand at first, though I get what the concept is: Releasing Sound chakra as the weapon makes contact to alter the effect landed. The filling of Water passively part is fine as long as noted that it can only be used for this CFS and it should be noted that if used with Water or Sound chakra, then mastery of both are needed for this CFS. Besides that, it looks fine. ✦

Background: There have been stories about card based combat from the time when chakra was first being used, but no one could find any proof of this. In his travels, Broly discovered some of these cards that were sealed with wonderous abilities and started to experiment with them. Eventually he mastered and even created more of these cards, thus remaking the style for modern use.
Description on the Abilities and Inner Workings of the Style: This fighting style revolves around, in a nutshell, enhancing the user's weapon combat. However, it has 2 unique twists. The first is that all weapons used in this style are thin, but sharp, sheets of metal around the size of playing cards. These may be thrown just as regular kunai or shuriken can be and are mostly the same in their use by themselves, simply a different shape. The second is that the sheets of metal are pre inscribed with seals that do different effects and according to the different inscriptions on the card. These inscriptions can be quite detailed and even colored, however this is merely an aesthetic detail. The parameters of these seals will be explained below

There are 3 different variations of the seals that are placed on these cards, each going by a different name.


Monster Cards: These cards have a seal inscribed on them that require a trigger to activate, which can be anything from travelling a certain distance to encountering foreign chakra. Once this trigger is met, the seal releases a barrier around the weapon, similar to "(Fusen no Kekkai) Tag Barrier". However these aren't simply spheres or boxes, these barriers are actually molded and shaped into different forms, thus making them on par with elemental releases. Normally, the weapon would still travel in its thrown direction, but these barriers are able to physically interact with the enviroment around them, thus allowing the weapon to change speed and directions. Given that the barriers have a source of chakra via the seal, the user is able to perform other techniques while using them. The barriers can all have different effects of course, depending on what seal is used. These barriers can be extremely detailed and even given color, however this is just cosmetic

Spell Cards: These seals give the card a special affect that can either effect an enemy, the landscape, or a monster card. For example, some spell cards "equip" to an already made Monster Card barrier, thus releasing something like an element onto the Monster Card barrier in order to make it stronger or addidng a barrier type fuuin weapon to the monster card. Some spell cards are standalone and thus can seal or unseal objects/chakra/clones/summons/the ground/etc, thus giving the weapon an extra effect when its seal is triggered. These cards generally give positive effects and are used to strengthen for the most part

Trap Cards: Whereas spell cards usually give positive effects, trap cards generally give negative effects to either an enemy, their attacks, or the landscape. Trap card seals are also standalone and give the weapon an effect that can seal, unseal, or release barriers that specifically affect an enemy target or his attacks in a negative manner. Trap cards function mostly like spell cards, only dealing in negative aspects and weakening instead.

All specific restrictions and abilities to each specific card are to be made on a case by case basis in submission. These are just general parameters of the different types of cards. All of these seals however, just give the original weapon different ways to be effective and useful in battle, thus remaining in the range of a CFS. Without all the bells and whistles the cfs is very established in weapon combat. Monster cards are simply erecting barriers around cards in order to make them more deadly and give them an extra ability. Spell cards either enhance said barriers or standalone to give the weapon a Supplementary ability. Trap cards do the same as spell cards, besides enhancing monster cards, only dealing with taking away abilities and power

( Ouryuujin Yarijutsu ) Serengeti Spears

Type: Kenjutsu

Background: The Serengeti Spears is a style of Kenjutsu that was based around a very specific process of honing a blade. This ancestral form has it's roots in old warring tribal clans, as they studied the nature around. Taking inspiration in the burrowing insects, especially ants, they noted the intricate patterns produced in the ground, and tried to apply them into their spears and other bladed weapons. Across many generations, they started to note quite a difference between drag of naked blades and patterned blades, and applied that knowledge into mastering the flow of the sword as it swooshed through the air.

The more they experimented, the heavier the blade seemed to be, so, naturally, they began to train themselves into wielding these seemingly ineffective but full of potential weapons. The style fused together the intricate honing ritual of complex indentations that served to trap and accumulate air as the drag increased across the blade, with the unorthodox physical regimen of motions and muscle power required to efficiently wield this drag and infuse it into their battle prowess.

Description on the Abilities and Inner Workings of the Style: This style revolves not around a specific weapon, but around a specific alteration to bladed weapons. When honing a blade, the practitioners of this style will intricately carve out striped indentations throughout the side of the blade, which will increase the amount of drag going through the blade with every slash. This indentations, studied across millennia, are specifically engineered to collect the air around the blade, coating the sword with a vicious yet thin layer of wind, very much similar to Leaf Dragon God, which grants this style a much greater punch in terms of elemental clash, and is mainly used to counter elemental ninjutsu users.

But, because of the drag, the blade also becomes heavier to wield, and, accompanying the style come a specific set of forms and knowledge to both wield the wind-coated sword in a fast, fluid and efficient manner, but also to wield it in such a manner than the indentation do not collect air at all, giving a much greater versatility to the wielder, so much so that it can allow one to use normal kenjutsu with altered blades. While it might seem, to an oblivious bystander, that the motions are identical, a master Kenjutsu or Taijutsu practitioner will notice the minute wrist and arm motions that the practitioner of this style has to develop and perfectly execute, in order to efficiently fight. This requires extreme grace and strength, greater than a normal Kenjutsu practitioner.

Description: The user spins around, gathering wind in a loose and violent manner, creating a tornado around oneself. While the slashing and shredding power of this tornado is less refined than a normal katana, the tornado is tangible enough to push back and damage an opponent that gets too close.


Additional effects and Restrictions: Practitioners of this style possess blades that went through the ancient honing ritual. Any default bladed weapon, from katana to kunai, scythe to dagger, can go through with the ritual. This can't be applied to indestructible CW, like the 7 swords of the Mist, both NB and Canon, nor can they be applied to CW that are not owned by the user, but merely lent. Though it means that untrained users will be unable to wield honed swords, as they will be much heavier and will not slash efficiently. As a practitioner, though, every kenjutsu technique is available and will behave as normal, due to intense training in countering the drag and air accumulation, while still being able to perform this style's technique when one wishes to.

This style has a relationship of neutrality against elemental ninjutsu, similar to Leaf Dragon God, though only when this style is used. Normal Kenjutsu techniques used through this style will behave as normal.

As a Master of this style, one is capable of, once per turn at max, execute a known Kenjutsu technique, canon or custom, while applying the necessary grace as to activate the drag and air accumulation, essentially turning a normal Kenjutsu technique into this particular form of Kenjutsu.

Style: NinTaijutsu

Step Three: Background

A few hundred years ago, a very famous dojo called Shin-Ado where many homeless students were accepted. Later on, this famous dojo was attacked by rogue ninjas in the night, resulting in the dojo burning down. Dante, who did not live in the dojo wanted to take vengeance on those rogue ninjas who killed his brothers the same way their brothers died. By suffocation. By combining fire's natural ability of oxidating oxygen from the air, Dante was able to create a nintaijutsu that not only burns his victims but takes away their breathe and suffocating them from oxygen. Ever since Dante has been looking for these rogue ninjas who burned his dojo down.

Step Four: Description and Inner Workings of the Style:

Hence Relinquish Palm focuses on the consumption of air around the user, the style may bear grave dangers. First and foremost, the user has to stay in harmony at all times while under control of the style. No matter what the dangers may be, losing sight of your harmony may be fatal. Braking into fear or spiking into anger spikes the need for oxygen in the body which the user leaves little to none for breath. The second principle is to stay focused and attack with pinpoint accuracy on par with Gentle Fist. Staying in harmony helps to stay focused and your consumption of oxygen for your own life at a pace. The third principle is the removal of air infront of an attack to allow faster on par with Gentle Fist and stronger impacts on par with Strong Fist. The last and most fatal principle is total suffocation of power. The user must calm themselves and remove themselves from a state of anger and assume control over their mind. The user will assume a battle stance before striking, channel their fire chakra within the limb. The user will augment their fire chakra to focus not on power but on the fire's natural ability of consumption of fire. The user will keep on fueling their fire while the fire burns more air thus achieving the desired effect.

Suffocation of Natural Resistance: The user is able to use fire to remove the resistance of air to allow faster movements and therefore stronger impacts for the user. As we know it, air acts as an oxidizing agent for fire. Using this ability of fire, the resistance of air is reduced to a minimum or none because it's continuously been consumed by fire as air makes contact with the user's technique.

Suffocation of Power: While most body movements need oxygen to create energy, the user not only strikes the part with the most abundant oxygen but also depriving the oxygen within parts that require oxygen the most, ultimately causing a paralyzation of the muscles and their mind.(muscles will paralyze if there's no energy to relax the muscle fibers) The paralyzation effect depends on the strength and the longevity of the exposure of the technique. With every strike on the opponent's body, the user consumes the oxygen from the area of impact and ultimately depriving the enemy and forcing him into suffocation.

The way one achieves this more in depth is the user must constantly revolve around with each strike, acting as a suction of air and sucking the air from around the opponent and taking the air from the enemy's body with each strike as one revolves. Imitating the effects of a hurricane, which consumes and sucks in everything in its path, the user may achieve the suffocation of their enemy by suctioning everything in its path. Once the enemy has stayed short range of the user long enough, the enemy may suffer from oxygen deprivation.

Description: The user will charge at the opponent while channeling their fire chakra into their body. The user will focus on both power and its natural ability of oxidizing oxygen as much and as fast as possible. The user will start revolving around their axis while landing precision and fast strikes on the enemy. For example, if the user strikes the enemies lungs, consuming oxygen from the most vital part of their body, leading them into mild oxygen deprivation. Every strike the enemy takes, depending on the part of their body, will lead to cramps and oxygen deprivation. Once the enemy has stayed long enough within the user's reach, they may experience oxygen deprivation with slight paralyzation of their body and loss of consciousness.

Step Six: Additional Effects and Restrictions

-Furthermost, the user will undergo a series of high-intensity endurance training which will not only increase their oxygen uptake by developing more productive lungs thus achieving more endurance and stamina then a normal strong fist master but also increasing their oxygen yield from one breath of air. This training had put them more resilient against circumstances where little to no air is present. Thus this training puts the user having stronger and faster attacks than a normal strong fist master in normal circumstances.
-Unfortunately, due to the oxygen deprivation, the user have a harder time keeping up with fast movements and their reflexes are lessened slightly.
-To use this style someone must be at least Sannin rank and at least started taijutsu, and fire style.
-Can only be taught by House


✦ Declined, for starters, use the template, not the example template filled out. The Steps part isnt included. The pinpoint accuracy of Gentle Fist and all that stuff needs to go as well. The Bold needs to be expanded upon as well; if it really only means that you channel fire around your arm to attack and the fire allows you to bypass wind resistance or drag, then you'l be disappointed to know that has been done already. Going by the example jutsu, this isn't what you were talking about so I'll assume you mean a different method that you'll explain. The training also wont allow you to resiliency in places with little air either lol. ✦

Type: NinKenjutsu

₪ Background ₪ Legend tells of a young ninja by the name of Yusei, a warrior in training whose greatest weakness was that of Close Quarter Combat. Travelling the world he looked for a way to overcome the latter and truly become strong. His travels brought him far and wide but it was only when he stumbled upon Mount. Sakura did his journey into the art of fighting truly begin. He learned under the four great Sages who each taught a specific art. Their arts were respectively Basic Ninjutsu, Kenjutsu, and Taijutsu. Learning under them Yusei came to understand and love each aspect to the point he was unable to choose the route he would pursue. He instead chose to take his favorite aspects from each art and combine to fit his own style of fighting with the mountains cherry blossom filled scenery as his inspiration. One that combined the core concept of using basic chakra manipulation to create a condensed blade or blades of chakra that could be used as a means for kenjutsu. Or having the blade(s) scatter into thousands of smaller blades that took the appearance of harmless cherry blossom petals collectively that could act as an extension of the users body through taijutsu or Kenjutsu.

The user will have his chakra manifest and condense into an extremely compact blade or several exhibiting an extreme level of sharpness. These blades can only form in short range of the user. From there the opponent can wield the blade as he would a normal one to preform kenjutsu oriented techniques. Or he can further manipulate them through ninjutsu to have the condensed blade or blades "scatter" into thousands of smaller blades taking on the appearance of harmless cherry blossom petals from which the style draws its name. In reality however these petals are of an extremely sharp and quick nature allowing for the user to easily use them as a defense or offense. These petals can become an extension of the users body, through direct body movements - taijutsu, allowing ranged combat. Stances differ based on the approach the user takes regarding use of the style as one can easily transition from kenjutsu to ninjutsu to taijutsu. By doing as mentioned before either using a blade to perform kenjutsu oriented techniques. Or using Ninjutsu to materialize several blades in a condensed form around the user and having them attack the target or scatter and attack. Then comes using the scattered petals to augment taijutsu and increase range by having the petals become an extension of the users movements, this can be via body movements or sword movements.(Although never directly making contact with the user, as the petals can harm him as well.)

Description: The user manifests complete glowing swords, numbering in the thousands, that form four rows. These rows float just above the other, and circle around the user and his opponent in a continuously moving, column-like array. It abandons defense in favor of a concentrated offense. This form can be meant for attack from all sides; or rather, to concentrate power into fewer blades. While the user can control these swords, he commonly calls them to his hands for actual melee combat. When in his hand, they lose their glow, and take the form of a katana. While they seem solid in this state, the swords can just as easily dissipate back into the multitude of tiny blades that they are made up of. It takes few blows from a Senkei blade to gravely injure an opponent due to the sharpness of the blade foremost but its ability to scatter upon making contact is what is truly dangerous. The Senkei also cages the user with his enemy, allowing neither combatant to move very far from each other, though the area is still large enough for maneuverability. The most effective use of the Senkei form is that it allows for use of all the swords at the same attack level, making it highly versatile as a way to launch a direct attack from all sides via

Description: Considered to be the absolute defense of the style. The user manifests complete glowing swords, few in number, five to ten. In a row around himself, floating and circling around the user. Upon contact with any material will proceed to scatter and shred said material to pieces protecting the user form all harm. However this technique is preset, passively feeding of the users chakra to maintain itself. Meaning the user can not take control of the swords and send them at the opponents like other techniques. Despite being the absolute defensive technique of the style it does allow the user to attack in a way other then controlling the swords. Via taking hold of one of the swords circling him, having it lose its glow and become a standard katana proceeding to use it in a normal kenjutsu fashion as he would a normal sword, although with the ability to have it scatter at anytime.
May only be used 2 times per match.
Lasts for 4 turns.

Background: During the era of the first ninja world, multiple ninjas were just getting used to transforming their chakra into elemental jutsu but even then multiple ninja still did not know how to mold elements. Then there were the people who didnt wished to use elements to fight but excel in pure taijutsu. Two people studied the art of taijutsu while training their body to the max until they realized in a time of war with people are growing at a very fast rate, creating and developing new jutsus every day. They needed something to add to their taijutsu, without taking away the main purpose application which was taijutsu. Thats when the two people became to study the art of illusions, or rather genjutsu. Taking what they learned they began to practice on each other the art of taijutsu and genjutsu together. Two years down the line the two mastered the art of of creating an illusion while implementing taijutsu, creating whats called the "Mirage Dance"

Description on the Abilities and Inner Workings of the Style: This still dwells in the art of genjutsu mixed with taijutsu. Being able to incorporate enhanced taijutsu (Chakra enhanced to increase the strength but some techniques can be chained with taijutsu techniques) with genjutsu . The genjutsu isnt used like most genjutsu used to create a whole surrounding illusion, but an area of effect genjutsu which targets their sense of direction while also creating a mirage of the user (Can create up to 2 mirages depending on the technique) . The user will engage while being within short range, inducing the opponent into a genjutsu quickly following up with a taijutsu technique. The moment the attack is initiated the genjutsu takes effect. Switching where the opponent will see the user strike. For example, If the user was to strike the opponent on the left side, the opponent will see the user striking him on the right side creating a false image of the user. The genjutsu can go as far as to make the opponent think that the mirage they see actually land a hit creating a small delay in the users attack before the actual hit lands which in most cases would throw the opponent off. The moment the taijutsu move lands the genjutsu effect would be over.

Once done the user will channel chakra into their leg and charge at the opponents mid section with a kick. If the user blocks the technique he would see the technique being blocked but simply be an illusion which will follow up with the real quick seconds after he blocked the illusion kick, dealing mild damage



Additional effects and Restrictions:

- One Must have mastered taijutsu and started on genjutsu to use this style
- The users attacked are normally chakra infused causing the user to deal more physical damage then regular taijutsu attacks by a small margin, still making the hits more powerful
- This style is useless against sensory ninjas, and dojutsu users as they can pick out whats going on

Nyānyā Neko no Āto ||Art of the Meowing Cat

Type: Gentaijutsu

Background:
Nyānyā Neko no Āto is an ancient form of martial art that was developed by the Cat Sages of the Cat contract. The idea first came about after a war between the toads and cats where the toads utilized their style of Frog Kata to overpower the basic forms of the Cats. Having been defeated, the cat sages were bestowed upon with the inspiration for their very own style, which was based on the Frog Kata's ability to strike without being seen. Having an affinity for Taijutsu and Genjutsu, they decided to combine the two arts together to create a style that utilized Taijutsu as the main component and Genjutsu as a supporting theme.

Description on the Abilities and Inner Workings of the Style:
Nyānyā Neko no Āto is a fighting style that combines the offensive abilities of Taijutsu and the supplementary uses of Genjutsu to create a style that allows the user to attack or defend in close combat with minimal damage done to the user. The style works on inducing Genjutsu upon the opponent through the senses of sight and hearing:

Sight – Genjutsu that is induced through sight is when the opponent witnesses a movement of the user that has no physical connection to them (usually through a stance or a reflexive action). For example, the user takes a basic stance of the style whilst at mid range, the sight of this stance captures the opponent in a Genjutsu where the opponent see’s the user summon a cat to aid them. In reality the user is making his way to close range to be able to attack the opponent.

Hearing –* Genjutsu that is induced through hearing is when the user makes the noise of a cat: Meowing, Hissing and Purring. Each one of these sounds, induces a different level of Genjutsu. The lowest is Meowing, followed by Hissing and finally finishing with Purring as the strongest.

Taijutsu – The main component of this style, mainly used to inflict damage upon the opponent and is not completely dependent on using Genjutsu as a support. The Taijutsu related to this style involves the ability to change the central pivot point of the user, allowing for them to be as flexible with their attacks as possible and to maintain their balance during their techniques.

Whilst in close range of the opponent, the user will quickly hiss at the opponent. This induces a genjutsu of the user upon the opponent where they see them evade an incoming taijutsu by pouncing upward. Whilst the opponent is distracted by the genjutsu, the user moves around and behind the opponent.

!~ Masters of Meowing Cat will have enhanced flexibility and reflexes. They will also be able to access the passive ability of the style to be able to change their central pivot point and always land on their feet.
!~ Due to the unpredictability of the Meowing Cat's quick changing movements, it requires at least a 3-tomoe Sharingan to effectively predict movements. Taijutsu masters can also predict the movements, and the attacks can still be effectively reacted to by taijutsu specialists. People without any specialty in taijutsu will have moderate difficulty reacting to each attack.


✦ Declined, the Sight part of the Genjutsus are just basic Genjutsus and the Hissing aspect is Sound Genjutsu. The Tai part itself is just that. When combined, you have Gentaijutsus triggered by sight of you, something that already exists as both canon and custom jutsu. The 3T requirement also isnt approvable like this. ✦

Type: Nintaijutsu
Background: The style was created by a member of the Hozuki Clan, heavily basing it on the Hydrification Technique. By spreading the molecules apart from the moisture in their hydrified state, the user is able to turn his body into a mist either fully or partially. The Style was developed in order to increase the versatility of not only short/close range combat but also ranged combat. The style not only allowed the user to defend, but also trick his opponent and counter in innovative ways that opened opportunities for attacks. Over time, that's when the name "Mystified Fist" surfaced, as the popular usage with it came from shocking and puzzling his opponents in battle at a moment's notice with the body conversions and applications.

Description on the Abilities and Inner Workings of the Style: The fighting style revolves around a mist variation of the hydrification technique that is tweaked in its applications by also using the liquid variation to deal the real damage. The user not only can fully or partially convert his body into that of a mist as thick or thin as he wishes, but he can also extend it by utilizing the moisture in the air as a source to expand his limbs/body to reach up to a mid-range distance.(Long, if Specialist) The fundamental usage of the style is dependent on the user's own imagination as it can be applied in countless situations. It is popularly used to confuse the target in close range in order to allow certain strikes to phase by their mist like state as they also attack at the same time. The style's ability to deal serious damage is largely dependent on the Hozuki Clan's main liquid hydrification variation, allowing the user to convert his hydrification back to liquid, either partially or fully on said portion of the body as he sees fit, balancing the two simultaneously. This opens the door to a whole lot of attacking combinations using the liquid as the more solid bases for attacks.The mist-state deals the same damage as well as has the same potential of manipulation as any other mist-related technique, within reason. (Up to the checker to decide of course) Not only is the user limited to turning his own body into a mist but also able to use it as a source for water-based attacks that require mist or even water, within logic and reason. (Following similar rules as the Hozuki Clan's Hydrification technique using the user's body as a source.)

Just like the Hydrification Technique, the user can make it seem as though he still retains his normal physical appearance until a physical interaction happens. (Ie: A pillar striking the user's body, causing the mist to disperse and show his real state.) Although partial applications can be used with this style, the user still possess the clan's natural ability to turn into water when unexpectedly struck or knocked unconscious.(As seen in the anime with Suigetsu) This means that if the user were to extend their mistified arm whilst retaining their hand as "normal", the hand would naturally convert into mist/water if unexpectedly struck, thus avoiding the irreversible danger. While fighting in the mistified state, the user found a way to replenish his cut off/sealed limbs by simply gathering moisture from the air or sources of water nearby, naturally allowing himself to replenish and reform lost part(s). The limit to this ability would be cutting off or sealing the user's head, disabling the ability to perform said action.

When fully or partially converted, the user found himself with the ability to sense any disturbance within natural or self made mist sources like walking, running, release of projectiles or sources of chakra present in said mist. This was very similar to the sensing rain technique in terms of chakra detection. (Chakra detection is not plausible on sources of mist that aren't infused with the user's chakra.)

Meanwhile, the user would utilize his opposite arm or even one of his legs to deliver a sneak attack, allowing him to deal either a blunt force attack or even a piercing one, depending on the manipulation of the mist's state. The user can also choose to utilize their limbs in a normal state, allowing for a more normal usage.

It is also popularity used in combination with taijutsu techniques, allowing for a more unique way to establish their strikes as well as increase it's power.

- Requires the mastery of Water Release & Taijutsu
- Primary or Secondary Water specialties to utilize.
- Specialists of this style have their have the ability to pin-point their targets or threats within a mist up to mid range away from him through the extensive training and usage within mist-conditions and environments.

Teiko no Basuke | The Basketball of Teiko
Type:NinTaiBukijutsu
Background:
The style was created by a young Konohagakurian Akashi Seijuro, right after the 3rd great ninja war, who combined the unique styles of basketball of 5 Young shinobi's from the 5 great villages and managed to combine their plays with ninjutsu, incorporating chakra into their playstyle, creating a rare style of fighting inspired by their beloved sport. The style itself was a testament to his genius, he considered it his legacy and developed it into a lethal weapon feared across the lands.

Description on the Abilities and Inner Workings of the Style:
The art itself is very simple, revolving around the use of basketballs and body strength, as well as manipulation of raw and elemental chakra, the user uses special basketballs(weapon to be submitted) by focusing chakra in his fingertips, releasing it into the basketball as he uses it to perform series of dribbles, shots and passes. The art itself works well both in close combat and distant fighting. By infusing his chakra into the ball, as the user dribbles, throws or passes the ball, the ball gains extra strength and speed. By using elemental chakra, it is possible to manipulate the ball even further, using the unique abilities in each element to grant the ball different uses and ways of movement.

Description: The practitioners of Teiko's basketball all specialize in dribbling. Their ballcontroll is of such high level, that they can actually press the ball downwards with force enough for it to explode perfectly into a quick cross-over. Because they slams the ball so fiercely onto the ground, it becomes too fast for the naked eye to follow. If the ball has reached its top speed, it's as if the ball has disappeared. The trick behind this special type of dribble is that the user infuses the ball with earthen chakra, increasing the weight of it. With the chakra in their fingers and the force in their dribble as they push the ball down towards the ground with great power. The noise this dribble make is loud enough to be heard long range and is quite overwhelming. This particular dribble also has annother effect. As the users fingertips touch the ball, pushing it down as he dribbles, each time he does so, the earthen chakra transports from the ball into the earth, sendin waves of chakra through the ground. Depending on how many fingers the user uses when dribbling and the amount of times he bounces the ball on the ground, the effects of this technique varies.

3 fingers: (C rank) The weakest version of this technique. By using 3 fingers to dribble, the index, middle and ringfinger, the user bounces the ball straight down on the ground 5 times, sending waves of earthen chakra through the ground, causing tremors in the ground that could result in the oponent loosing his balance and maybe even tip over and fall. The ball would bounce up and down quite fast and produce quite the loud noise nearby.

4 fingers: (B rank) A more powerful version of this dribble, this time using 4 fingers, index, middle, ring and littlefinger, the user bounces the ball 4 times with more force and pumps more chakra into the ball, releasing waves of chakra through the ground with each dribble, creating a strong earthquake capable of causing fairly large summons to tip over. The ball would move very fast and be quite hard to track with the naked eye, and produce a very large noise.

5 Fingers: (A rank) The strongest version of this technique, using all his fingers, the user bounces the ball 3 times with great force as he pumps large amounts of earthen chakra through his fingertips onto the ball and then on the ground. The waves of chakra would push forwards, ripping through the ground, causing great cracks in the battlefield infront of the user, up to midrange and create a great earthquake with the power of even causing summons like gamabunta to lose balance and fall down. The dribble itself would produce an extremly high sound as it strikes the ground. The ball itself would move with great speed and be impossible to track with the naked eye. (2 tomoe sharingan and above)

Teikō no Basuke: Igunaito Pas-su – Kai | Teikō’s Basketball: Ignite Pass - Release

Description: With lightning chakra gathered in his palm, thrusting the basketball using the palm of his hand whilst at the same time spinning his entire arm and wrist round and round, creating a rotation around the ball, as the palm hits, like a gunshot, the user adds great amounts of power and speed to the ball, by transferring the rotation movement of his arm to the ball whilst at the same time pumping his chakra through it, causing the ball to be surrounded by a blue aura before being surrounded by pure lightning itself. The ball would be powerful enough to pierce through solid rock and moves at an immense speed. As it makes contact with any object, the lightning surrounding it would burst free, releasing a shockwave reaching a 5 meter radius, shocking everything nearby. Because of this effect, the user cannot use it while being close range of the intended target himself.

Ketsueki enerugī kensetsu sentō | Haemokinetic Construction Combat
Type: Ninjutsu/Bukijutsu/Taijutsu
Background:
A unique form of combat said to have originated and been the basis point for the seven swordsmans Kubikiribocho, the blade that reforms itself by consuming the blood of it's foes. This style of combat is incredibly old, almost as old as the origins of chakra itself. While the style is mostly no longer practiced due to the dangers involved. There are a few users still proficient in the style to this day.

Description on the Abilities and Inner Workings of the Style:
The style focuses on the ability of a person to focus chakra in to the tenketsu of their body, as all ninja are capable of doing. But instead of focusing the chakra safely the user will increase the amount causing internal stress on their own body causing internal damage and most importantly releasing blood internally which can be forced through the tenketsu via the usage of chakra control. The ability to create tools, objects, weapons, armor, and even appendages out of blood is granted via this ability though due to limitations mainly of blood in the users body, they can only create small objects suitable for enhancing close range combat, using chakra control to solidify the blood to a level where it can cause severe harm to opponents. However the abilities used by this fighting style do not require the users own blood as a medium. Should he take the blood from his opponents or even allies he can easily use this blood the same as any other, regardless of the nature of the blood even animal blood would serve the purpose. The primary advantage of using the blood of the user themselves comes from the ability to alter their own blood before combat depending on what substances the user has available to them. Those who have finished medschool for example would be able to poison their own blood causing lasting damage to anyone struck with their blood weapon constructs. But even those who haven't finished medschool can use the style effectively. Because blood is so closely related to water, being almost 80% water itself. It can be modified in the some way as water, allowing users of the style who are also masters of water release to change the density and form of the blood to suit their needs. Having the ability to imbue it with any of the effects of normal water jutsu. I.E making the blood sticky in a similar way to the sticky water jutsu, or turning the blood in to a bloody mist form becoming a gas as opposed to a solid. Additionally the style can be further augmented by masters of lightning release in the same way that water conducts electricity blood does exactly the same, allowing the blood used in this form of combat to be enhanced with lightning taking on similar qualities to lightning enhanced weapons including paralyzing and numbing of opponents struck.

Description: Using their blood, or the blood of another person or creature. The user will focus chakra in to the blood, forcing it to become more dense and solid than normal to the point of tangibility. Allowing them to create various weapons or constructs useful in close range combat such as swords, spears, axes, or even shields. These weapons can be wielded or thrown via pseudo telekinetic control via chakra.

Description: After using their blood to create a construct, the user is capable of changing the nature of the construct in a similar way to changing the nature of water release. Making it sticky, or turning it in to a gaseous mist form.
Additional effects and Restrictions:

- Users must have mastered basic taijutsu and ninjutsu, along with being masters of water and lightning release should they wish to use the water and lightning based effects of the style and medschool should they wish to use poison.

- Applying the elemental effects or poison effects can only be done on the users own blood, there are some exceptions in the case of characters with already poisonous blood such as Orochimaru. Additionally each time the users own blood is used, they take 10 damage to themselves.

- Due to the considerable pain caused by this style of fighting, any technique that uses the users own blood counts as one rank enhanced in regards to breaking genjutsu, I.E a B ranked move with this style counts as enough pain to break an A ranked genjutsu.

- Due to extensive self harm and manipulation of their own blood, the users of this style have slightly increased healing when compared to other ninja and a slightly more durable body. This allows them to shave one rank off of any attack that actually strikes them. Meaning a C rank jutsu that hits them will only cause the damage of a D rank. The healing is quite negligible merely allowing the user to recover from kunai or ninja tool freeform attacks but nothing above D rank or above will heal faster. Additionally the damage resistant body will not help greatly against higher ranked techniques, it will just allow the user to survive slight wounds such as stone spikes piercing the legs etc.

- Using their own blood can have detrimental effects to the user after a prolonged time. These will be explained further in the approved jutsu, but include nausea, blurred vision, and other effects associated with the loss of blood.


✦ Declined, DNR. Blood manipulation is for starters confined to Blood Release. Outside of that, no ninjutsu to manipulate the blood whether through element or raw ninjutsu will be approved. ✦

(Namikazeron) – Theory of Waves and Wind

Background:
Namikazeron has its root in its namesake, Namikaze Minato, though the famed Sealing Master and Fourth Fire Shadow had no part in its creation as the style was created after his death.
Namikazeron began as a humble, philosophical movement among intellectuals that advocated experimental Sealing Techniques. Namikaze had displayed unmatched knowledge of seals when he layered two ‘Four Symbols Seals’ to create the ‘Eight Trigrams’ Sealing Style and many groups sought to take the new concept of ‘layered seals’ further. The resulting wave of experimental seals added a whole new dimension to the art of Fūinjutsu.
The Kanji (which defines the central purpose of most seals) was discovered to hold the potential to be used independently of formulae as long as the given purpose was simple enough. Formulae (which deal with the lesser workings of most seals) were similarly proven able to exist and function independently of Kanji, as long as the given specifications were without a central purpose.
The experiments grew progressively more obscure (and dangerous) as time went on and soon a minor faction of the movement moved to implement a series of safety-measures to be used by the movement as a whole. The goal was to minimize the chance of injuries caused by destabilizing and overloading seals, and the most effective measure, much to the surprise of the faction, was discovered to be calligraphy.
Over the years Namikazeron has become more than just a movement. The contributions of the Sealing Sage, Axle, created a new, battle-oriented branch of the movement which is still used to this day.

The fundamental principle of Namikazeron is the separation of formulae and Kanji in Fūinjutsu and the combinatory usage of the two, both in and outside of combat. The difference between said concept and normal Fūinjutsu can be compared to a Yin-Yang Master’s simultaneous usage of two elemental natures and a Kekkei Genkai-wielding Ninja’s inherited ability to combine two elemental natures. Where normal Fūinjutsu always includes both formulae and Kanji, Namikazerian Fūinjutsu can use either concept separately or blend them in a multitude of ways.
There are two ‘Columns’ to this, known as the ’Formula Line’ (Jutsushiki-Sen) and ‘Layered Characters’ (Sōjō Kanji) respectively.

The purpose of formulae in Namikazerian Fūinjutsu is to act as a medium for the creation of Kanji. In regular Fūinjutsu formulae are a mysterious phenomenon. As observed in the fight between Sasuke Uchiha and Shimura Danzō formulae created in mid-air as part of the ‘Summoning Technique’ remained unaffected by the lack of solid mass beneath them and formed in a perfectly flat pattern. Similarly, formulae have been observed to form in gravity-defying designs and even move, as seen with the sealing formula of the Flying Thunder God Technique. Namikazeron takes advantage of these features to remain unaffected and unchanged by environmental/external factors and uses them to create what is known as the First Column of Namikazerian Fūinjutsu; the Jutsushiki-Sen (Formula Line).

Jutsushiki-Sen is not an Inton technique, thought the two categories are conceptually alike. As observed by the Second Mizukage; Inton is a broad term and the concept of ‘creating forms out of nothingness’ is also fundamentally linked to illusionary techniques. Just like Genjutsu however; Jutsushiki-Sen does not require Yin-Yang training to utilize.
The ‘Formula Line’ is a self-sustaining, redundant circuit of chakra that assumes the shape of ever-changing black threads. The circuit always originates from its user’s hands or feet, but being a massless phenomenon – to the extent that chakra is massless – and simply a manifestation of the user’s chakra it is safe to say that it has virtually no limitations within fields such as speed and reach.
In and by itself however the Jutsushiki-Sen is useless in battle. The ‘threads’ can serve as visual barriers, but they are unable to interact with matter in any shape or form on their own accord.

The purpose of Kanji in Namikazerian Fūinjutsu is to act as extensions of the Jutsushiki-Sen. Through miniscule changes in the chakra inside the circuit the Sōjō Kanji-concept changes the shape of individual parts of the Formula Line into Kanji that, in turn, shapes its required formulae from the surrounding area of the Line. Multiple identical Kanji can be created simultaneously through the use of the Jutsushiki-Sen’s properties as a circuit. Similarly, Kanji can be created outside the user’s field of visions through the implementation of the calligraphy-safeguard, which is a vital part of Namikazeron as a field of study.
One of the most important features of Sōjō Kanji is the ‘thickness’ associated with it. Like the name implies the products of the Second Column are ‘layered’, in the sense that the created Kanji are based so thoroughly on the Formula Line that tags become obsolete. In this sense the Formula Line and Sōjō Kanji can be said to act as extensions of the user's physical self . Naturally; this restricts the effectiveness of seals that require a continuous contact with its target(s).

Namikazeron shares its close-quarter-combat aspects with other styles, such as Whip Arts, in the sense that the Formula Lines are meant to act as extensions of the user's body. Like the Third Raikage's Hell Stab technique Namikazeron acts as a medium of extending destruction that increases the user's immediate capabilities in combat situations that call for a Taijutsu-inspired counter-attack strengthened by chakra-requiring techniques.
Namikazerian Fūinjutsu has a distinctive limitation in that its second column - Sōjō Kanji, which changes the Formula Line into functionable Seals - cannot be applied at long range. The style serves as an extension of the user's own body and thus ceases to function correctly if it is stretched too far. This goes hand in hand with the fact that Formula Lines always originate from the user's hands or feet.

-Formula Lines can be created in freeform, as can seals that aren’t technique-related, such as non-ranked explosive tags.
-Due to Formula Lines being operating as closed circuits of chakra the total chakra output needed for techniques based on Namikazerian Fūinjutsu is halved.

Through miniscule changes in the chakra inside the circuit the Sōjō Kanji-concept changes the shape of individual parts of the Formula Line into Kanji that, in turn, shapes its required formulae from the surrounding area of the Line. Multiple identical Kanji can be created simultaneously through the use of the Jutsushiki-Sen’s properties as a circuit. Similarly, Kanji can be created outside the user’s field of visions through the implementation of the calligraphy-safeguard, which is a vital part of Namikazeron as a field of study.
One of the most important features of Sōjō Kanji is the ‘thickness’ associated with it. Like the name implies the products of the Second Column are ‘layered’, in the sense that the created Kanji are based so thoroughly on the Formula Line that tags become obsolete. In this sense the Formula Line and Sōjō Kanji can be said to act as extensions of the user's physical self. Naturally this restricts the effectiveness of seals that require a continuous contact with its target(s).

Namikazeron shares its close-quarter-combat aspects with other styles, such as Whip Arts, in the sense that the Formula Lines are meant to act as extensions of the user's body. Like the Third Raikage's Hell Stab technique Namikazeron acts as a medium of extending destruction that increases the user's immediate capabilities in combat situations that call for a Taijutsu-inspired counter-attack strengthened by chakra-requiring techniques. The reliance on the metal finger claws furthermore solidifies Namikazeron's position as a school of sealing-assisted close quarter combat.

Background:
Though elements of the Gōjiko style have existed since time immemorial the style was formally organized by a group of Gōken practitioners during the heyday of the Third Raikage as a defensive counterpart to their own school of martial art. The style became a popular secondary interest of many Gōken users due in no small part to the Third Lightning Shadow’s own very particular fighting style.

Description of the Abilities and Inner Workings of the Style:
Gōjiko is, at its basest, a series of simple movements and techniques that can only be utilized effectively by practitioners who have undergone a strict regimen of training and chakra control exercises which build and develop their natural endurance and fortitude. The style is centered around the instinctive acceleration of the user’s chakra circulation and improved introduction of said chakra into their muscles and joints. Chakra is regularly used on an almost subconscious level to enhance their strength and agility by all manner of shinobi and kunoichi alike. Gōjiko utilizes this simple element of chakra control to reinforce heretofore naturally strengthened tissue, particularly in the user’s muscle groups.
By its very nature Gōjiko is a purely defensive style insofar as it is intrinsically tethered to the notion that the best offense is a good defense. Practitioners of Gōjiko maintain a powerful physique as their style, much the same as its Gōken counterpart, is a hard and external martial art. While they cannot specifically strengthen their bones, the targeting of which is an integral element of Gōken, users of the Gōjiko style continually train themselves to instinctively align their bodies so as to redirect the force of an incoming attack towards stronger parts of their corpus. Gōjiko could thus be said to be the advancement of the defensive components of the Third Raikage’s nindō organized as a set of tenets attainable by a wider range of Taijutsu practitioners.
In practical terms practitioners of the Gōjiko style enjoy the ability to protect themselves against a wide range of offensive moves by virtue of the aforementioned principles of resistance. The active components of the style are overwhelmingly instinctive, selfsame as water walking and muscle enhancement. Moreover the style does not require any manipulation of chakra, though some may be expended naturally when an attack connects with the practitioner (normally 10 or 20).

Description: By virtue of the principles of resistance this technique allows the user to react instinctively to an incoming attack, realigning their body so as to divert said attack towards a reinforced area of their body. The physical elements of the aforementioned attack will be met by the user’s increased physical resistance and nullified, though only up to the rank of Shin’nyo and a minimum of 10 damage points will still be inflicted upon the user.

Additional Effects and Restrictions:
-Practitioners of the Gōjiko style are more resilient than most and enjoy a passive -5 damage reduction to physical damage inflicted upon them.


✦ Declined, cant approve this as it's just a means to gain partial immunity to stuff. It'd negate the point of a few rules as well as clash with various ninjutsus that grant this. ✦

Name: Heavenly Tremor | Tengoku Shinsen

Background:

After a powerful earthquake struck his home when he was a child Alexander had naturally become interested in his affinity for Earth Release. As he grew older and began studying the Ninja Arts he discovered Earth Release's power to cause earthquakes through the usage of World Shaking - a lower ranked earth technique capable of causing localized earthquakes. Alexander's interests immediately piqued in the technique.

In an effort to better balance his practice of taijutsu with his interest in Earth Release and more specifically World Shaking Alexander began to contemplate how the two could be united into a form of earth release taijutsu allowing one to strike an opponent or other solid object to set off an earthquake of varying magnitude. His need for such a technique arose from his desire to cause varying levels of destruction on the terrain around him which would heavily affect his opponent's ability to keep a consistent battlefield.

Description and Inner Workings of the Style:

At its most fundamental level Tengoku Shinsen brings together Earth Release’s manipulative abilities found within Doton: Yochi no Douyou – Earth Release: World Shaking and Taijutsu – specifically unique movements akin to that of earthquakes themselves. Earth Release has been seen to be capable easily causing earthquakes and in those earthquakes releasing very particular earthen energy from them – namely primary and secondary waves. Through the use and precise application of shape and nature manipulation the user can manipulate this released energy and focus it as a weapon to be used upon their opponents using the earth and earthquakes produced by Tengoku Shinsen as a medium themselves.

Tengoku Shinsen is essentially divided into three aspects. The first aspect are the body movements themselves. As previously mentioned Tengoku Shinsen utilizes body movements akin to how an earthquake acts – this is the art of body popping. Body popping is centered around the technique of quickly contracting and relaxing muscles to create a jerking effect (known as the pop) in the body. Popping can be applied to many parts of the body such as the arm, legs, chest, and neck essentially allowing this style to be highly versatile in its applications. The movements created by popping essentially become highly unpredictable giving them an explosive attribute to them accentuating the powerful nature of the style. This allows for fast and sudden movements followed by a quick relaxing of the muscles.

The second aspect of Tengoku Shinsen is within the application of Earth Release ninjutsu; specifically World Shaking. As previously mentioned Tengoku Shinsen brings together tremors produced by Earth Release with an explosive body popping style of taijutsu combat. Earth Release is capable of producing tremors through this technique and variations of it. Through this one will apply this in their strikes and counters being able to cause tremors of varying magnitude within metals, earth, and structures.

Primary waves; the tremors created through Tengoku Shinsen produce a specific type of energy through the movement of the earth. This energy is commonly known as ‘primary waves’. The nature of primary waves allows them to travel through physical mediums such as earth and fluids (although for the application and creation of these waves in Tengoku Shinsen the waves must be created in contact with the earth and then diffuse into a fluid. It cannot be created within a fluid). Once the user has made contact with the earth through a punch, kick, or other various movements and releases their earthen chakra to cause the earth to shake the earthen waves are released from the movement. Because the user is creating the tremors with their own chakra the primary waves released have the potential to be many times greater than that of normal earthquakes causing their damage potential to be much greater. Once produced the user can apply precise chakra manipulation to the primary waves and direct and channel them through the earth into organic bodies. Because primary waves are capable of traveling through fluids organic bodies make excellent targets once primary waves travel through their earthen mediums.

The damage produced by primary waves on organic bodies can vary depending on severity. Mostly it will produce internal damage such as headaches, ringing in ears, dizziness, loss of balance, and potential internal bleeding.

Secondary waves; secondary waves produced by Tengoku Shinsen act as the physical damage done to the earth by the tremors themselves and are in essence the third category of the style. These waves are released immediately after the users chakra has released the earthen primary waves through the earth. Secondary waves are in essence the aftershocks created by Tengoku Shinsen and will act as the force that tears the earth apart depending on the size and severity of the quake produced by Tengoku Shinsen techniques. Secondary waves are purely limited to acting upon the earth and cannot be used to directly inflict damage to an organic body (such as punching a target and attempting to directly cause a tremor within them). However, the mass destruction of the earth can cause indirect damage to a target such as makeshift shrapnel from the earth striking the target.

Description: The basic application of Tengoku Shinsen where the user will slam either or both fists into the earth, metal, or earthen structure and release earthen chakra causing an earthquake of moderate severity. The primary waves released from Shinsenken are not particularly concentrated making this technique useful for disrupting the balance of multiple opponents briefly while also dealing minimal damage to the earth itself. The true power of this technique lies in its ability to create distractions and temporarily knock opponents off balance.

Description: An advanced and highly description Tengoku Shinsen technique where the user will release copious amounts of Doton chakra into the earth, earthen structures, or metals and create earthquakes of extremely high magnitude treating the user as the centerpoint. Tekken Tachikaze deviates from the regular application of Tengoku Shinsen in that instead of releasing one single tremor or quake within the earth it will instead continually release high magnitude earthquakes compounding the damage produced significantly. The release of tremors will continue as long as the user maintains concentration on the technique and physical contact with the target (earth, earthen structures, or metal). The primary waves of Tekken Tachikaze can be either diffused over a large area up to long range to harm multiple targets or will be applied and concentrated into a single target and inflict significant internal damage and other harmful side effects. The secondary waves released by Tekken Tachikaze will cause significant damage to the earth and structures easily tearing through it causing enormous quantities of debris to scatter about the battlefield and potentially inflict high external damage to the target. Most importantly the user will act as the centerpoint of the quake(s) and as such will have the quake angled away from them.
Note: can only be used twice (2) per battle.

Additional Effects and Restrictions:
Users of Tengoku Shinsen will have their fists hardened greatly to be as tough as rock due to their training in the style to strike earth and other incredibly hard solids. Tengoku Shinsen specialists are also naturally capable of producing body popping effects with their body enhancing their taijutsu movements to become unpredictable and ‘explosive’.

To begin training in Tengoku Shinsen one must have mastered Earth Release and Taijutsu. Additionally, one must be of at least Sannin rank to begin their training. Students of Tengoku Shinsen must undergo training to harden their fists. They must also undergo extensive training to learn and master body popping effects in their movements and actions.


✦ Declined, the Taijutsu part of this doesn't exist; punching the earth doesn't count as Taijutsu usage as you use the punches and kicks to initiate Ninjutsus...... Ex. Jutsu shows this clearly. ✦
