The element is based on:

Facts that prove the element to be possible (in the manga context):
Chakra is capable of being manipulated into a variety of sources depending on rations, as well as using transformation. On top of this elements can take on many different forms, water being an example that can be something from a mist, to a syrup starch. When chakra is introduced to Yin and Yang elements it can manipulate the balance of nature further, such as Nara shadows being mostly a Yin Aspect. This shows that elements can be made from more than just elements, but also can have other natures added to them, such as Yin introduced to fire for Amaterasu.

How it works:
Using water release as a conduit/container, the user can manipulate the ratio of Yang chakra within to introduce a new property to their water creating a new element. Yang is primarily a physically manipulative element, however when introduced as a chakra, the ratio of yin to yang must be balanced and maintained for a technique or chakra source to be stable. When a chakra source isnt balanced, or rather when it is suddenly shifted or rapidly changed, it becomes unstable and loses its integrity. Shown when Naruto needed to alter and main tin the right right amount of chakra for his elemental wind rasengan, when improperly balanced it caused the technique to explode, disperse. Similarly, when a clash of chakra is introduced, the balance of it must be maintained, less the chakra burn away (ex. White Tiger, maintaining Yin and Yang chakra ratios).

Water itself is an excellent conduit and portent for chakra as it can move through the body on a cellular scale, (ex medical ninjutsu techniques) can shift its molecular structure to suit its environment or need (ex hidden mist or syrup gun). By introducing Yang Chakra combined with water transformation, the user proceeds to create a source of water that is highly manipulable, as well as being capable of clashing and altering the ration of chakra within its clashes.
As a result, Anima Water (which is a misnomer, the water itself isnt PH acidic, the term is mostly used as the water is capable of burning away chakra due to the imbalance) is neutral to elemental clashes of ninjutsu. Anima Water when clashing with elemental techniques will clash with the opposing chakra source, and when mixed will cause an imbalance causing the technique to lose out.
When targeting opponents, when struck by Anima water they suffer additional effects on top of physical damage, how ever not as great as that of pure Yang related damage. If an opponent is struck by an Anima water technique, they will lose chakra equal to the amount of damage within the technique itself. While Yang Release causes significant chakra imbalance and burn, this form of Water+Yang is a less concentrated of the Pure Yang release balance.

Declined. This really is just Yang Water. There's nothing really special here. You also risk coming precariously close to my own Eridian Release.

Facts that prove the element to be possible (in the manga context):
Wind release has been seen in the anime to take on different forms but still maintain its key property of manipulation. A good example of this would be typhoon release where the element is imbued with an unknown property to make it superior to basic wind and turn dark. Helios release is similar in the way that it maintains the main functions of wind but embedding two known properties of Yang which is healing and damaging.
How it works:
Helios is a mixture of Yang Release and Wind Release that form a new element much akin to the technique "White Tiger". It's a purely energetic element that carries with them a higher chakra cost than those of regular elements since it contains Yang. Because of Yang it also retains a neutral interaction towards elemental clashes. The wind itself could be described as being radiant with light, being able to illuminate in the dark with a soft glow that gives off warmth on touch. This is because of the immense concentration of power of Yang pulsates within. Helios itself has two unique effects categorized as "Growth" and "Wither". The concept of both are rather simple. By influencing the Yang ratio within a target the user can either cause a positive or negative effect depending on the balance within. Growth effects mainly deal in balancing ones ratio, proving to be effective against spiritual techniques or healing. Wither being the opposite, having negative effects mainly dealing in destabilizing ones ratio, causing hindrances and being damaging to the body. This is achieved by either injecting or extracting Yang from a target. The effects of Growth and Wither depends mostly on the technique itself and scales up in effectiveness along with the rank of the technique (chakra input from user). Wither can deal physical damage as well as act as a debuff on a target depending on a technique. Aside from that, Helios as an element itself differs not much from how wind acts, being an energy element with a warm touch that can be molded with shape manipulation and take on different forms with the properties of Growth and Wither. While it gets warm on touch it does not radiate heat through any material and only on direct touch it gives this sensation. Coming in contact with a non biological material, Helios will act very similar to wind and can cut through or push an object away from it like a hurricane.

Wither can deal damage to an opponents body but it does not do so the same way a wind release technique does. Instead of cutting or deal simple blunt damage, the Helios chakra sips into the targets body and spreads out through there causing local internal damage to muscles or organs or both. This means that Helios causes internal damage to a biological entity without leaving a scratch on them.

Growth can heal an allies body in a similar fashion to some Yang techniques and spread out through the body of the biological body. From there it locates a potential wound or damaged organ and start to heal it. Doing so will cause a warm and comforting feeling that dulls pain and can make the target feel like they are in their prime.

Any opponent caught in the blast zone with become tethered by wither that starts off by spreading through their entire body. The spread will take root on the first area of impact and the will numb off while taking massive internal damage feeling like heat rapidly spreading through them.

-Declined- This clashes with Zat's CE to an extent and it's also not really doing anything unique other than being literally yang wind, internal damage is already part of wind release with techniques like Rasenshuriken, also the ratio thing is a little weird, having an excess of yang wouldn't make yin hurt more, if anything it would hurt less as it brings you back to balance not further from it, this needs some work.

The element is based on: Wind Release + Earth Release + Water Release + Yin Release Chakra control

Facts that prove the element to be possible (in the manga context):

Sephiroth Release is created through the fusion of three chakra natures, Fuuton, Suiton & Doton, along with the chakra skill of Yin manipulation.

Firstly, Earth and Water cannonically produce Wood, which have been explored in countless of biological and organic elements, as the combination simbolizes the fluidity of Water with the hardness and physicality of Earth. Throughout the Naruto Series, "Trees" are shown to grow from the ground up, and the manipulation of their roots displayed via Zetsu or Senjy's Wood Release. The main form and inspiration of a Sephiroth creation takes in the appearance, fluidity and organical-properties of roots and root systems, namely the Taproot, Fibrous and Napiform categories.

Wind is added to the lightness and sharpness of the element, chosen as the element of intangibility and air. Likewise, it is paired with Yin Release and the countless uses of Yin has the element of imagination; spiritual energy, the psychic, and even as power of creating nothingness into existence. Here, the roots attain an intangible substance, and are grown from thin air, as Wind replaces most of Earth's properties in the creation of a Wood-like element.

Due to its nature, Sephiroth Release has spatial manipulation akin to "Earth Release: Sticky Earth Drop", Summoning Techniques and other like-natured spatial manipulations. This aspect is held closely through the advanced skill of Yin's manipulation over manifesting into existence. It takes on the concept of the "fabric of space", which canonically is showcased in the portal-like opening of the aforemention technique.

How it works:

Sephiroth Release is made through union of these elemental natures; Fuuton, Doton, Suiton and, Yin mastery manipulation in the chakra formulation. Birthed into existence in the same mannerism as wood release in basic nature and appearance, manifested in an array of cometic shades of brilliant visible colors. Like any element, its created in a variety of ways; either by manipulating their chakra in the terrain, by manipulating the air molecules to act as soil giving 'ground' for Sephiroth Release, or rather surging the chakra from one's body to manifest Sephiroth Release roots into the fabric space at their control, aside from the common appearance, Sephiroth Release’s root have complex alterations.

Essentially, Sephiroth are the roots and threads that hold and stitch together the fabric of space. The intangible nature of the spatial roots locks the dimension in place, preventing manipulation and passage of Time-Space techniques. The material world of any given dimension will be secured, pierced and sewn together. Like Earth Release's ability to pull apart the fabric of space to produce Earthen Lid or an ocean of Mud, Sephiroth is capable of forcefully stitch it back together, lock it in place or arrest the material in a stasis.

Initially created as a pale in color (unless color stated on biography) as a full-grown white lightning-like thorny root appears, distorting the air merging/ spouting through the fabric of space akin to a plant emerging out of the ground. Twisting across the vacuum of air, a feat so unnatural in discord with the surrounding space. Clear visuals of marginal space distortion can be noticed as minor twisting of the gravity’s space is wavering through the movements of these roots.

Variety in color is a gained aspect from Yin release's ability to draw from the user's chakra signature. Originally pale white in form, Sephiroth Release has a shimmering effect of glow or radiance, regardless of the color the user has willed from their chakra. Similar components akin to wood release, the element however has the smooth razor properties from wind release enabling the spiky roots to masterful impale the dimension. This primal dimensional aspect is willed over through the skill of Yin's creation from nothingness into existence, a property that's a yin derivative to imagination manifestation.

Sephiroth Release chakra is thus used by the user to resist space-time manipulation in manner of tangling against time-space manipulations. This effect can be drafted upon techniques that attempt to enter a 'forest of Sephiroth Release' becoming denied dimensional entry space, or it being forcefully revoked and reversed. However, this is dependent on rank vs rank interactions, as a sufficiently strong Sephiroth technique is required in order to restrict potent space-time manipulation i.e, regarding Eternal Mangekyou space-time, or greater Doujutsu users, Karma seal users, or even Ōtsutsuki space-time abilities.

Though its noted Sephiroth Release can tangle with spatial means, this does not however that it can migrate into tearing rifts into the space continuum or drafting gates into unknown dimensions. Sephiroth Release is merely an element with the ability to emerge through space-time, nothing more. Reasonable applicable uses of Sephiroth Release follow a simply logical rule restriction; only to deny space, halt it and reject it by stitching it back up. Accomplished by the user crafting an circular ouroboros of sorts as the roots can then unlimitedly force a portal to remind open, or capturing a target then under the manipulation of user's control over the roots, drags the target into the Yin skilled Sephiroth Release element manifesting dimension. This imaginary dimension is relative to Sword of Totsuka, aka Sakegari Longsword's genjutsu-like "world of drunken dreams", uncontrolled by the user. For anything sent within is forever removed from existence or gone with results unknown.

Mastery overtime, allows one to extend into the divergency ratio in Sephiroth Release root properties of Yin Release's chakra, to produce a similar effect in the afflicted target's chakra system or energy substance, producing effects akin to hypnosis, chakra stasis or other similar Spiritual-based effects.

Advanced application of chakra control can enable the powdered form to be attained. This state of Sephiroth Release is closer to sand, yet much lighter in weight. The powder enables applications of medical manipulation with yin influence, granting means of genjutsu manipulation as it can quickly dissolve into chakra systems indicating properties associated with several plant root effects, i.e; “a Turmeric as a powder spice, the root is associated with herbal medicine or Kava kava root, where its mixed with water to dissolve into an effect similar to drinking alcohol.” This state of the element however has no-effect over Time-Space manipulation.

Relative to wood release along with the Yin skill's influence, this element has chakra siphoning abilities. Enabling the user to draw in chakra from targets to replenish themselves in times of need. However, one cannot apply this method Vice Versa as Sephiroth Release chakra has mere only an intaking ability. Sephiroth Release chakra applied to a solid object, results in that object to remain locked in air, akin to an object planted into the ground's soil. Added upon an energy based-substance, results in that energy component to became suppressed omni-directionally becoming a sphere. Which results in that sphere shrinking in size as a result gaining density, in-turn it becoming 'air-locked' in place as a solid object would.

Uniquely interactions with Fuinjutsu that effectively work on a basis of sealing a jutsu whole verses sealing the jutsu's chakra, Sephiroth Release manipulation of Spatial forces enable it to effect grasp hold of the dimensional's tether resisting the draft into the seal. Furthermore, barriers interacting with Sephiroth Release, can be 'ripped/cut' open without disrupting the very barrier's ability, re-stichting it or diverting it like pulling the threads.With heightened mastery over the Yin concept and sensory, the spiritual awareness of a master of Sephiroth Release will be able to attain an awareness of spacial changes and manipulations, though not an ability to sense what is on the other side of the manipulation, just restricted to the dimension where the user and the Sephiroth roots are in.

The physical effects of being afflicted with the roots of Sephiroth are akin to being pierced and pulled, or impaled with the fabric of space. It creates a much firmer lock that will deal spiritual damage rather than physical. The physical effect of being locked in place will still invalidate any projectile or physical based damage of a technique or person atempting to navigate the Sephiroth element, and a sufficiently strong physical damage will still manage to overpower or neutralize the growth of the roots. Based on Yin, elements traveling within a dimension will act neutrally with the Sephiroth, thus stronger techniques will be able to cut and sever through the root's lock, neutral techniques will stop eachother in place, with the roots unable to go any further whereas the physical element will be neutralized as well, and with weaker techniques the Sephiroth roots will pierce, slash and impale unimpended. As this pertains to manipulation of the spacial dimension, the Sephiroth roots will not diferenciate between solid, gaseous or liquid, and likewise Radiation, Light, Temperature or Energy elements. Sephiroth is Neutral to all elemental natures, and strong solely to Time-Space Ninjutsu and techniques.

They can also take root in human bodies, when planted a Sephiroth seed can be used as a from of Trance to control the victim through hypnosis. The seeds can also be dropped into a surface to grow root-like vines, which can then be used as a trap to entwine their opponents or as stepping stones to cross un-walkable areas, such as toxic waste. These seeds also have the power to grow appearing akin to thorny trees, so as to use these sustainable thorny forms for attack and defense.

Elemental Summoning Techniques that are invoked from scrolls or tools may by-pass the limiting, however this is situational given if the roots impale the source, the means are then nullified as well.

The Element is Based On: Natural Energy


Facts that Prove the Element to be Possible (In the Manga Context):
Yin is the energy that governs one’s spiritual energy; the mind, darkness, imagination, and creation. Yang is the energy that governs one’s physical energy; the body, light, vitality, and life. Together, these two as Releases use and manipulate spiritual energy and physical energy, which are the two components of chakra, respectively at varying ratios. While this makes all ninjutsu that utilizes chakra at least distantly rooted in Yin and Yang Release, these "elements" are purer and root applications of the energies they derive from in ratio and potency. [X] While anyone can use a higher ratio of spiritual energy to physical energy in techniques, like with Yamanaka HA techniques, spiritual energy potency needs to be very high for one to be a considered a practitioner of Yin Release. The same can be said for Yang Release.

As said earlier, spiritual and physical energy mixed together form Chakra. There are, in fact, different forms of Chakra though (not to be confused with elemental releases), each unique with their own component energies that are added into the mix. The standard form of Chakra is utilized by Shinobi, which can be dubbed "Normal Chakra". A different form of chakra known as "Sage Chakra" is utilized by Sages. Sage Chakra is formed by the mixing of spiritual, physical, and a third energy component to the mix: Natural Energy. As such, Taiji is to Sages with Sage Chakra what Yin and Yang are to Shinobi with Normal Chakra. Taiji Release uses and manipulates natural energy, which is one of the three components of Sage Chakra. This in turn means that all Senjutsu that utilizes Natural Energy is at least distantly rooted in Taiji Release, similar to how all Ninjutsu that utilizes Spiritual Energy and Physical Energy is at least distantly rooted in Yin and Yang Release respectively. However, purer and root applications of Taiji Release are scarce among most modern sages. While all sages manipulate their Yin, Yang, and Taiji natures to a degree, to profess oneself as a proficient user or master of Taiji Release requires competency in sage chakra manipulation beyond that of the common sage.

More direct examples that show the ability to manipulate Natural Energy is possible include and/or which are senjutsu that specifically manipulate just the natural energy of the technique. With the first technique, the natural energy manipulated can not be sensed by those who lack sage training as even the Rinnegan's chakra vision did not see the natural energy coming off of the Frog Kata strike. Similarly, the Sharingan's chakra vision could not see the natural energy causing the erratic behavior the cave had when Sage Art: Inorganic Reincarnation was used.

In the RP, there are also instances of natural energy being manipulated directly with Samurai and Ronin. Samurai and Ronin possess the ability to utilize Senkenjutsu without actually being in an alternative form of Sage Mode (Dokkodo). Alternatively, even while in the form, they harness the natural energy infused chakra into their blade and not their internal chakra. This in turn also shows them consciously able to utilize natural energy without actually possessing Sage Chakra in their main system.

The justification for this release can come from the following deductions.

Elements as Energy Ratios
The following statements can be described as true
Spiritual Energy and Yin Release Yin Release is the act of manipulating the ratio of Spiritual | Physical to favor Spiritual. Additionally, while spiritual energy-derived techniques like Nara HA are rooted in Yin Release, those techniques are not "pure" high-level Yin Release.
Physical Energy and Yang Release Yang Release is the act of manipulating the ratio of Spiritual | Physical to favor Physical. Additionally, while physical energy-derived techniques like Akimichi HA are rooted in Yang Release, those techniques are not "pure" high-level Yang Release.
Normal Chakra and NinjutsuShinobi that utilize Normal Chakra (Spiritual and Physical Energy) manipulate the ratio of energies uniquely and is rooted in Yin and Yang Release. However, normal chakra-derived Ninjutsu like Rasengan would not be considered "pure" Yin and /or Yang Release.

From these understandings, the following statement can be deduced.
Natural Energy and Taiji ReleaseTaiji Release is the act of manipulating the ratio of Spiritual | Physical | Natural to favor Natural. Additionally, while natural energy-derived techniques like Frog Kata and Inorganic Reincarnation are rooted in Taiji Release, those techniques are not "pure" high-level Taiji Release.

However, sage chakra-derived Senjutsu like Sage Art: Rasengan would not be considered "pure" Yin, Yang, and/or Taiji Release.

Additional Considerations
RP Consideration
Yin and Yang as Universal Abilities mark them as something all shinobi can do. Even Samurai and Ronin can utilize Yin and Yang Release since they are merely acts of manipulating spiritual and physical energy ratios. Sages with Sage Chakra then could feasibly learn to manipulate the ratio of natural energy even higher.

Non-Canon Usage Consideration
Sage Power in the anime showed toads being able to gather natural energy during the era when there was no chakra (i.e. spiritual and physical energy) in any living being. This implies a level of control can be learned to increase the ratio of natural energy to physical and spiritual far more than used in normal Sage Mode. This also identifies these animals are truly one with nature.

Taiji Release refers to techniques that possess a strong proportion of Taiji or Natural Energy. Taiji is the energy that governs the world's natural energy; the environment, ecosystem, weather, balance, and harmony. Taiji is objective, very defined in form and function, and acts as things "naturally" would act, ergo the status quo. When movement is made, the activity reaches a limit and becomes tranquil. When tranquility is achieved, the stillness reaches a limit and becomes motion. An apple tree stands tall and still, and then when it can be still no more, an apple falls and grows again. The cycle repeats endlessly. Movement and tranquility, in alteration, define what "is" the natural state of the world. Nature "is" the state of the world. Nature is.

This ability can be produced through two methods. The first and most secure method is by having internal Sage Chakra composed of Natural Energy as well as spiritual and physical energy. The user will then heighten the ratio of natural energy, as they would with spiritual energy for Yin Release and physical energy for Yang Release. This high ratio of natural energy essentially turns things to nature, causing erratic behavioral effects or petrification, among other things that emphasize nature. The second way is similar to how Samurai and Ronin can utilize Senkenjutsu without actually being in a mode but rather infusing natural energy into a specific area, such as their sword. This still requires the user to have an accumulation of the necessary amount of chakra with natural energy accumulated, however it is not a requirement to be in Sage Mode or Dokkodo.

Taiji users have an advantage over other sages in various degrees due to their heightened skill in manipulating their sage chakra. At a base level, all Taiji Release users possess a greater balance in their sage chakra due to the ability to manipulate and control the proportions of their spiritual, physical, and natural energies at much more efficient levels, being able to do so as unconsciously as shinobi do with their spiritual and physical energies. This translates to Taiji Release practitioners being capable of passively absorbing natural energy perfectly into their system, similar to Jugo's Clan [X]. This is not to be confused with entering Sage Mode itself or receiving boosts, and the rate of conversion is half the rate of consciously molding natural energy to enter Sage Mode. This does have the benefit of granting immunity to B-Rank Genjutsu though.

Taiji Release has increased damage and chakra consumption, similar to Yin and Yang Release but does not get boosted from the user's standard Sage Mode/Dokkodo boosting effects. Additionally, as a manipulation of the ratio of natural energy, those not versed in sensing it can not detect Taiji, similar to how spiritual entities of Yin Release are not detectable by those not versed in spiritual energy. The main effects of Taiji Release operate with techniques that emphasize the balance between movement and tranquility, manipulating the "status quo" as well as "guiding nature" or manipulating the environment. This can be represented by techniques petrifying things to stone (tranquil), becoming one with nature, and following the "status quo" as seen by the teachings of Mount Myōboku. Alternatively, this state can be broken as the (movement), breaking the "status quo" and wildly acts out of nature as seen by the teachings of Ryūchi Cave. This especially makes sense as all Senjutsu techniques are rooted and distantly related in Taiji Release. Other effects of Taiji Release operate with techniques that manipulate the environment itself, "guiding elements", or augmenting the user's own sage mode capabilities.

Description: The user is able to use their Taiji nature to a technique of the Basic 5 Elements, allowing the technique to gain a new effect upon contact in two unique ways. The first way occurs when the newly augmented technique clashes with any opposing chakra, resulting in petrification or corrosive effect on the target. If the target is hit, natural energy is sourced into the target and it becomes petrified after 2 turns. However, if the target has some form of damage reduction, the newly augmented technique will reduce the target's resistance by half the original listed cost of the user's technique. This effect remains until healed. Once the target's resistance hits 0, petrification can occur. The effects of this technique are halved when dealing with Summonings and Animal-Based Techniques, requiring twice the amount of time for petrification and only a quarter listed cost of the user's original technique reducing damage resistances. The second way this techniques acts is when the augmented technique is applied to anything else without chakra (trees, rocks, water, etc), imbuing that target with natural energy and allowing the user to passively and freely manipulate the substance according to their will. Though, controlling the new area counts as a move, it can be done in conjunction with other techniques simultaneously. Like Yin and Yang infusions, this technique increases the chakra within the technique by an additional rank in strength, or 10, whichever is higher.

Description: This technique allows the user to combine their elemental chakra with Taiji Release to create a stronger, more potent elemental release. When the user casts a jutsu, they will emphasize the ratio of natural energy alongside one of the basic elemental natures, thus increasing the potency of the jutsu. This technique has the effect of making the technique it is applied completely natural. As a result, it becomes free of normal chakra and truly a natural element, in a similar fashion to how Kirin is a technique of real lightning simply guided by the user. The newly augmented technique gains the advantage of no longer being affected by chakra draining or sealing. Additionally, the elemental technique in question takes on an iridescent hue or rainbow color entirely. This can be used outside of Sage Mode similar to Samurai and Ronin being able to utilize Senkenjutsu outside of Dokoddo but without the power boost granted by Sage Mode. Like Yin and Yang infusions, this technique increases the chakra within the technique by an additional rank in strength, or 10, whichever is higher.

Description: The user will reinforce his own body with Taiji, empowering their existing Sage Mode/Dokkodo to the outermost limits. As a direct result of the pure and raw control of Taiji, the user gains access to Pure Mode, drastically empowering their abilities to a far greater state than any normal Sage Mode does, foregoing pre-existing traits for ones that represent a neutral form of nature. The appearance and effect of Pure Flow depend on the user's level. Imperfect Sage Mode users lose their animal contract-based anatomical features and take on features more in line with their surrounding environment, within reason. In rocky terrain, the user's skin would be hardened. In watery terrain, the user's skin would be fish-like and be able to swim through it like flying through the air and breathing through the water. In grassy terrain, the user's color would hair would change in color and move like grass. The results are unique to each case. In any case, the user can fly as they are manipulating the natural energy around them. Perfect Sage Mode and Dokkodo Mode Samurai/Ronin users lose all features but a change in their eyes, having iridescent pupils with a bright shine and an iridescent chakra aura . This form also has the benefit of nullifying all terrain-based techniques like Hiding in the Mist. Like normal Perfect Sage Mode applications, the user can choose to take on more physical environmental-based anatomical features by manipulating their energy ratios. While in this state, the user’s Sage Mode and all its effects are raised by 1 stage, whether in rank, multiplier, damage, buff, etc. it increases by 1 unit increment. The user can also make use of chakra arms, counting as an A-Rank Taiji Move, similar to Mitsuki's Sage Mode form. However, by infusing oneself with the Taiji Nature, the user becomes unable to use Yin, Yang, and Yin-Yang Release techniques. Additionally, spiritual techniques above A-Rank and physical techniques above A-Rank become unusable.

Description: Those who have specialized in Taiji Release can enter this mode to elevate their prowess, reaching the pinnacle of natural capabilities. When entering this mode, users first gather their five basic chakra natures and their Taiji nature. They then manipulate the ratio of their Taiji to Yin and Yang chakra such that one nature almost completely overshadows the other two, done almost instantly. The result causes the user to enter Taiji State. Taiji State is the state entered by users when they emphasize their Taiji chakra over their Yin and Yang. Because of the existing risks with natural energy over physical and spiritual energy, the user is unable to maintain the high ratio of Taiji for as long as one would with Yin or Yang States. In this state, the user’s general appearance has only slight differences. Notable changes are to the hair retaining its natural style but being more refined and losing any stray hairs. The user’s eyes become more detailed and irises seemingly have an iridescent shine to them, also appearing more relaxed even in battle. The overall body structure appears to be younger and thinner in the frame and build. The user's skin tone remains the same but more blush. The aura around the user resembles an iridescent rainbow. When the user enters Taiji State, their entire essence is mixed with natural energy, granting certain abilities, including they gain access to the technique Kamiyonanayo, the ultimate Senjutsu. The user does not receive extra physical boosts like speed or damage increases. Rather they become "one with nature" no longer requiring physical movement in the area, being able to appear anywhere in the landmark by essentially "turning into nature" and appearing anywhere else, essentially being immune to physical techniques barring EIG level speeds and damage. With their overwhelming natural energy, the user becomes immune to spiritual techniques barring MS Level techniques. The drawback to this technique is that, due to the massive imbalance of Taiji chakra, the user becomes extremely limited in technique usage. Yin Release as a whole and spiritual techniques above B-Rank become unusable. Yang Release as a whole and physical techniques above B-Rank become unusable.

Description: A technique used to remove physical and spiritual energy to replace it with natural energy. This Jutsu took inspiration in its application by the use of the God Tree. With this technique, the user is tied to the immediate landmark around them, causing the environment itself to behave with the will of the user similar to the Sage Art: Inorganic Reincarnation. The environment itself (rocks, trees, water, etc.) responds automatically targeting sources of spiritual and physical energies (i.e. shinobi, ninjutsu, etc). The environment becomes self-sustaining, self-aware, and move to both attack enemies and protect the user. The speed by which the protection is made is “instantaneous” as the natural energy is all around already, not dissimilar to Gaara's "instant" protection from even attacks like Amaterasu. However, attack-based environmental movements occur at the user's current speed. While the user can consciously choose to will the behavior of the environment or have it act on its own, each use of the environment (attack, defense, or supplemental use) counts as a move but can be done simultaneously with other techniques the user uses. A single "offensive" usage can grab multiple targets so long as they are in mid-range of each other. Otherwise, the user takes an extra move slot. Should the environment successfully manage to make contact with any spiritual and/or physical energy source, the environment will immediately begin infusing the target with natural energy, reducing the chakra on affected techniques per turn and causing petrification on living entities. The user does not absorb any chakra themselves to regain energy. Curiously, this technique will not automatically attack or defend from other Sage Mode/Dokkodo users and/or Summonings and their animal-based techniques, but the user can actively will the environment to attack and defend, however, the petrification and energy-sapping effect in these clashes are reduced.

Note: This technique remains active for as long as the user is within the Taiji State

Conditions to be Able to Use It:
As Taiji Release is dependent on natural energy, the user must possess Sage Chakra, or more specifically, users must have the ability to consciously mold natural energy specifically (e.g. Sage Mode, Dokkodo). If the user is not able to consciously mix the natural energy into their system (e.g. Cursed Mark, Sage Transformation), the user incapable of using this release. If the user lacks Sage Training (i.e. does not have Sage Mode or Dokkodo on their bio), this release becomes unusable in any capacity.

Only Perfect Sage Mode and Dokkodo Mode users that have Yin, Yang, or Yin-Yang Release training can specialize in this element. Imperfect Sage Mode and Samurai/Ronin can not specialize in this element. The reason is that increasing the ratio of Sage Chakra to favor Natural Energy over Spiritual and Physical Energy typically has dire consequences (turning to stone) and the user must be able to at least have a potent Physical or Spiritual energy granted with Yin/Yang Release training or the quality control to increase the ratio of natural energy higher than typical whilst possessing enough hold of physical and spiritual energy to not be completely engulfed by natural energy.

-Declined- honestly this just isn't happening because no matter how in depth the explanation goes, you're still just saying that this is natural energy+ and adding more natural energy to something doesn't make it more "pure" or "stronger" that's the exact opposite of how sage mode is taught in the series, it requires balance and harmony between chakra, natural energy and vitality. Sage power which is pure natural energy for the most part was weaker than senjutsu. DNR

The element is based on: Earth + Lightning + Fire + Ninjutsu + Chakra manipulation

Facts that prove the element to be possible (in the manga context):
Earthen elements are comprised of materials that which in the manga sense can be construed into various forms of liquid and or solid natures by either neutrality or via elemental combinations similar to that of fire release when mixed creates a substance that which is of Lava or Molten. In conjunction with earth being malleable and fire being a source of emitting a raging formation, lightning release is a source of fast acting conduits that similar to that of fire release can be mixed with a surplus of destructive prowess unmatched by the lethality of both earth and fire. A similar concept of this is storm release that which combines elements of similar morality to the funnel of making a greater element with equality of such things like boosting ones abilities such as internal non ninjutsu based techniques; Eight Inner Gates, etc.

How it works:
The inner workings of the element that creates ''Hoshinakatengan'', Star into Heaven Release (Mystic Lightning) is formulated by the conceptual entities of Earthen releases; using their minerality hidden within its form not only to create a solid but ideally to conjure forth boosting properties to the caster and likewise those that deem to enter within its confines. With the mixture of fire release it's framework is surrounded by the concept of delivering damage with additional effects added on by the earthen compounds combined within; giving this element both its versatility, flexibility, and destructiveness. Lightning release is a component that which gives this element its light source, its fast acting movement and thus making it formulated into a source of electrification. Through the art of all that is ninjutsu it is created within a singular element that can be easily construed to be nothing more than a bright light with the capability of forming solid shards or constructions of the masses, however, its neutral and natural state of earthen chakra and ninjutsu with ideally chakra all manipulated within the confines of a molecular level can produce effects similar to that of earth when stimulated by a source of water or fire. When earthen compounds are stimulated by a water source and or a heating element it can form a subset of plants, toxins, medicines, or any conjunction of a corresponding ailment that both hinders, helps, or neutrally responds to the system of the body in specific stereotypes.

The formation of a element such as Hoshinakatengan can be naturally formulated within one's body and thus emitted by a light outward from a pinpoint that can be selective upon mixture. Such as which hand seals can be forgo from ever being required to perform this element as the formation of it can be simply casted via a slight movement instead such as a snap, twitch, or a slight movement of the body itself to eject said compounds outward and thus into effect. After which a light source made by the compounds is present a formation of limitless imagination can be constructed via the earthen elemental construct with the properties of all three elementals. Upon formation of a solid construct a slightly bright light source not strong enough to blind any whom gaze upon it will structure itself into a circular shape around said construct that'll both burn those within its confines and increase and or decrease their bodily statistic values simultaneously. The inner workings of both formations of the element likewise (Light to Solidity) are entirely comprised of weaknesses and strengths to correspond with relative elemental combinations. Due to the electrical compounds that which make up the majority of said element the entirety of its surface can be a conduit to the natural state of its own element itself and thus cannot be countered by such, however it is highly conductive therefore can be electrified by it if the element used in conjunction is of same ranking. The fire element usable by its inner workings by creating via a source of heat can be overwhelmed due to it being of low standards, thus making it a weak flame, and therefore being able to be countered by standard means. The earthen compounds itself is strong, resilient in nature and cannot be naturally conflicted with wind due to its combinational feats, however stands of a neutral state of mind. When water is exposed to this element it can be regarded as fuel to the earthen aspects and thus can be regarded as a elemental combination possibility similar to that of Fire and Wind chakras; when water meets this element its abilities are thus increased by a additional +1 points regarding effective value charts. Lastly due to its aforementioned ailments raw chakra, spiritual and the likewise are weak to the element of Mystic Lightning due to its combinational prowess with the minerality attributes of earth, fire, lightning, and ninjutsu/chakra manipulation that it contributes.

Description: By emitting a source of light amongst their body either through the palm, feet, or within they'll slam it upon a surface that'll then formulate a lotus flower shape made out of Star into Heaven or ''Mystic Lightning'' that'll then emit a glow like circular shape long range from its casted positioning. The surrounding of the circular glow formation will cause the opponent to burn slowly for -5 points of their calculated health per turn whilst they remain in the circle of Star into Heaven's glow. In addition to the opponent being burned per turn they'll ideally suffer a negative in speed and tracking values by -1 points per turn likewise with same positive returns (+1 to speed and tracking) to the user that casted this technique as long as both of which remain in the circular formation. This technique is not entirely made for offensive purpose, alongside the element's weaker state of heat, and thus will deliver a lower damage output than a regular technique of its same ranking. Furthermore if the user deems to stand upon the lotus flower itself it can then be used as a spring board to raise themselves upwards, although not with great speeds but rather with greater heights than could've been possible.

Within the Narutoverse chakra exists as an energy that can be manipulated into taking the form of matter through nature and shape transformation. The former changes the form and movement of chakra, while the latter changes its properties and characteristics. This represents the foundation of ninjutsu. Chakra is ubiquitous in all living beings and though its exact properties can vary when other energies are combined with it, chakra remains essential in most – if not all – variations. Raw chakra and chakra-based energies have been witnessed with degrees of solidity and/or viscosity, but this has always been achieved with manipulation or some conscious effort relying on the properties of other energies. By its nature chakra that is not manipulated dissipates, returning to its former state. The primary characteristic of Lyrium Release is that it reverses this mechanic, creating solid matter that shape and nature manipulation can be applied to, but which returns to its solid state by default. It is possible in the NBRP because chakra can exist as a solid, but requires manipulation to do so under normal circumstances. This is where the fundamentally transformative principles of Yin make Lyrium a possibility.

How it works:
Lyrium Release techniques require the application of Yin principles to raw chakra, imbuing it with earth’s fundamental property as solid matter. This requires a source of raw chakra that is combined with Yin chakra, forming the base of the element. Lyrium materializes around a single point, expanding as its intrinsic properties solidify additional chakra energies infused into it. Like ice lowering the temperature around it Lyrium expands, assimilating and converting chakra energies into a solid state. It only reacts with chakra energies. This is the exact opposite of the anime-based Crystal Release, which converts matter into crystal, never reacting to chakra energies directly.

Lyrium takes the appearance of a blue, crystalline dry ice whose constituent parts are arranged in highly ordered microscopic structures forming a crystal lattice that extends in all direction. It naturally expands in geometric shapes and is reflective. To normal senses this feature appears as a pleasant visual effect of prismatic light that contains all the colors of the visible light spectrum. Those who perceive chakra directly will have some difficulty discerning the depth or shape of Lyrium structures however, as the effect is perceived as chakra reflecting chakra: like looking directly at a light source while wearing night vision. Examples of this could include a ridged surface of Lyrium that would seem flat, or an enclosed space composed of Lyrium that would be perceived as a reflection of chakra repeated infinitely, like standing between two bright mirrors.

As solid matter Lyrium has sharp edges and is both heavy and durable, but certainly not unbreakable. It can last indefinitely like rock, but only reacts or expands when in contact with chakra energies, which it assimilates as described above. As such, in an elemental clash Lyrium Release techniques can either be overcome, as all other elements can, or it assimilates the chakra energies of techniques it has itself overcome. A fireball impacting a Lyrium structure would not dissipate or explode if overcome, but rather solidify and become a source of the element. For chakra structures this effect is straightforward, but although living beings can be affected this is neither an instantaneous nor irreversible process. The effects of Lyrium on living beings would include a stiffness spreading from the point of contact that worsens with prolonged or intensive exposure as chakra gradually solidifies and damages the body. The specific effects would be included in a technique and clearly defined with a foundation in the intrinsic properties of the element. Lyrium’s dependency on chakra energies restricts it in combating natural variations of elements such as Kirin because there are no chakra energies to react to.

Facts that prove the element to be possible (in the manga context): Mucus Release is based on the natural occurrance of Natural Energy infused oil, which is used to enhance the training in manipulation of Sage Energy. The Generic appearance of the element is that of a dense and visibly colored Oil, though techniques can be submitted that take advantage of mist-like dispersion and translucent coloring to camouflage the Mucus to the naked eye.

Against Yin, Yang and Yin and Yang techniques, though, Mucus is considered stronger, due to the nature of Senjutsu, likewise against Organic techniques, such as Aburame, Inuzuka, Organic Elements, Taijutsu, etc. It remains neutral to Senjutsu techniques, related to Summoning Animal, Wood and Sage of Six Paths Sage Modes, which can tolerate the detrimental effects of Natural Energy infusion but are offset by Mucus' physicality. -Declined- I kinda agree with the initial check and the change you've made suggests you'd be able to manipulate natural energy without using sage mode which I'm not okay with. Also the strengths and weaknesses are scuffed tbh and this is very toad oil adjacent.

The element is based on: Fire + Water

Facts that prove the element to be possible (in the manga context):

Looking at some of the advanced elements in the series, when you combine the base elements together usually the result is that it has the form of one element but the properties of the other element. I thought acidic fire could be made like this, when I looked at the AE of Lava (the acid mud) and Storm. Acidic fire uses fire as the base form, but uses a combination of water and fire to make the fire acidic, giving it strength to solid objects

How it works:
Lava (acid mud) basically uses earth as its form (even if its mud, but earth can still be turned into mud) and then adds fire or water to add acidic properties to the mud. Storm release is the same, where the base form is lightning, but the water allows it to be manipulated like water, instead of being a straight beam of energy or uncontrollable.
Using the same idea, you have fire as the base form (and energy manipulation) and then combine it with more fire and water chakra to make the fire corrosive and acidic. The strength behind this is that the fire can then eat through and corrode and destroy solids and objects that fire would normally not be able to melt. Due to the fire's acidic nature the flames turn green as well as smelling more pungent, giving off its nature.
Acidic fire is able to retain its strength to wind, but can now also break down and destroy earth too, but on the reverse side, it still has its weakness to water, dousing the flames and diluting the acid. Acidic fire also has a weakness to lightning as lightning will neutralize the acidity in the fire, causing it to just become fire and water together turning it to steam.

Facts that prove the element to be possible (in the manga context):
We've seen the attributes of Yin and Yang being mixed up with other basic elemental natures throughout the course of the manga/anime such as the Amaterasu/Blaze release which relies on Yin as well as Typhoon/Black lightning which are both also strongly speculated to have either an enhancement in their destructiveness to blame on Yin. However, Yin is more broad of an aspect rather than just it's ability to bend the physics of a basic element. It also contains theories of spirits and the soul - in which Soulfire takes its seat. The fire release is the element that best captures the will of a soul and was therefore chosen to be the carrier of the Yin prospect to create this element.
How it works:
Soulfire dives into the aspects of the mind and soul within and outside all beings and makes it tangible with the help of the fire release. It builds on the concept of the intangible world as a medium in order to perform the way it does, acting as a sort of bridge between our plane of existence and the other side and this is done through the aspect of Yin which already has been proven to contain spiritual power. Soulfire can exist in the intangible plane of existence as well as our tangible plane of existence simoltaniously as it is containing spiritual energy forged into the aspect of flames and just as our own souls that hosts our bodies. Because Soulfire contains spiritual energy that manifests itself into flames, it can be sensed at a distance not just by chakra sensors but also by any kind of sensory that can pick up spiritual entities such as Yin specialty.

Soulfire works similar to that of Fire release when it comes into contact with tangible elements or surrounding structures such as rocks or water or even air. It will burn, but as it is containing a spiritual entity it does not stop burning unlike fire release as it will naturally starve itself off of oxygen or fuel to spread. This also means that Soulfire does not spread akin to that of fire release unless a material contains anything inside of it that sustains life or spiritual energy itself - in those cases, Soulfire will burn that energy. Soulfire plays a neutral part in all basic five elements due to this, but also because it contains Yin it can be containing higher amounts of chakra than the basic five elements just like any other element that contains Yin or Yang - but in terms of techniques that contain the same amount of chakra or damage, Soulfire will be neutralized regardless of nature. Soulfire will, however, burn any source and turn it into ash just akin to regular fire release if it is stronger in its interaction.

When it comes to elements or sources that may exist as intangible in our plane of existence such as spirits from House of Katsuryuko, Soulfire will be of a most useful tool in order to extinguish and enflame such targets as well, devouring any sort of spiritual energy within the entity it targets. However, it can only consume spirits of the same chakra levels and below of the Soulfire technique in these cases, retaining the role of neutrality. However, Soulfire will retain it's power to spread and consume spiritual entities rather than just stay in place and not spread like it would with an ordinary rock.

On contact with a living target, Soulfire works quite uniquely, and getting struck by Soulfire on ones arm for example would make the arm go completely numb as the target loses all ways to control it using their mind. This is a part of what Soulfire actually does - it attacks and spreads through any host that contains spiritual energy and consumes it. However, the arm itself remains physically intact and is not necessarily burned. This effect ramps up the higher damage value the technique is of Soulfire but it cannot ever destroy a body but instead it follows the same rules as being struck by a Genjutsu using the damage/health system but divided in body parts rather than just the mind. Soulfire is therefore also a good counter against fast targets, if they're struck on their legs/wings etc their limbs numbs up almost identical to the paralyzing factor of Chidori Nagashi - except that the reason is totally different. They lose their mental link to their limbs and cannot control them anymore using their mind. Getting struck by very high-tier Soulfire is lethal and can cut the brains input to their lungs or heart creating organ failure as the minds gets disconnected/having its connection to said organs skewered from it. Aesthetically-wise, Soulfire has ashen/pale blue colors to it and has a very distinctive swirling pattern to its curves and looks quite magical.

Facts that prove the element to be possible (in the manga context):

This element is based on the true power we see in nature every day. One of the most on going acts of force of Nature is the power of water in motion, shaping rocks and banks across eons. Erosion takes the principle of water in motion across time, be it the waves constantly bashing against the cliffs, pushing and dragging debris, or dissolving minerals and other materials, as they slowly break down the rock.

Erosion follows the same principle of elemental processes through time expedited through chakra, similar to Fire + Lightning to produce Decay Release: An expedited expiration of matter and energy into their natural processes; Wind + Earth + Fire to produce Dust Release: A desintegration of all matter back to dust.

How it works:

Erosion release is a pure Water advanced Elemental Release that takes the shape of moving water. It's constructs are similar to Rasengan in appearance, like a rapidly revolving mass of liquid that can be shaped into streams, vortexes, orbs, etc. Within the creation of Erosion Release, the element picks up debris in the air and the terrain and opposing techniques, absorbing them within and then dragging them towards erosion. It behaves similar to crashing waves and raging rivers when clashing against other techniques, eroding, carving and bending them to the user's will. When used against an Earth wall, for example, an Erosion orb would erode and divert it's surface into a gaping hole, or vanish it completely. It can peculiarily serve to bend and alter the shape of weaker techniques, diverting it's path, shape, appearance or function, like a river carving a landscape. This behaviour is an important separation between just moving water and the Erosion element, as the constructs of erosion produce an expedited abbrasion, allowing the user to shape and bend physical matter into a myriad of shapes and states of distraught, or expedite the dousing out of outburst of energy, that get absorbed within Erosion itself, something that would require mass and time for any normal Water-based technique.

Since Erosion is force and motion, expediting the natural process of Eroding matter, it is highly strong against Physical elements, like Earth, Metals, Crystals and Biological Materials. The motion of Erosion is also not conductive to Lightning and resistant to Fire, and other High-Energy-elements, dousing out and absorbing discharges of energy, high temperature and other energetic processes, such as Radiation, Lava, White Fire, Boil etc. Thus Erosion is strong against the physicality of Elemental Release, inversely to Decay, and Energy discharges as they dissipate and get absorbed within the thurmoil of Erosion. Though, despite having elemental advantage, it can still be overpowered by a strong enough technique. A weak Erosion technique will atempt to erode and divert a Strong Earth technique and find its strength insufficient to produce any relevant harm, thus will behave like raging water streaming across a steady riverbank, getting diverted itself.

Pure Water-based Erosion is bound by physical debris, and thus cannot be used in the Void, or against matter-less materials, but Erosion techniques can easily be combined with Earth or Wind to empower the process of Erosion, and allow it to overcome the absence of matter.

Erosion is weak to Wind, a strong agent of motion and Erosion itself, which can't be diverted or pushed, and will instead push back Erosion, or it's vaccum-based abilties can draw out the materials necessary to produce an Erosion technique. Wind is also the basis for many cold-based elements, such as Ice, which will freeze the motion of Erosion and stop it. Water element, being composed of the same matter as Erosion, will not be moved or diverted by it. Water is free-flowing itself, and represents the element of flexibility and change, thus it won't be affected by Erosion's property of expedited abbrasion. Of course, a strong enough force of Erosion can push or absorb both Wind and Water within itself, when faced with a weaker technique.

Facts that prove the element to be possible (in the manga context):

Grace is formed from Yang Release, an energy typically manifested as a bright white light. Its primary responsibility is to govern life and vitality. While not an element in its own right it can manipulate the ratio of Chakra existing in other natures to create something new and distinct from the original element.

How it works:

Grace is an element formed by manipulating the ratio of spiritual and physical energies within Lightning Release to favor the latter. Visually Grace is a golden empyreal energy; oftentimes it manifests in a wisp-like state but can be manipulated to tend towards a lightning-like crackling energy that can even produce explosions. Like Yang Release it is warm to the touch and can be weaponized to burn and sear targets should it be included in a technique. Grace is also bright and its brightness can be amplified to blind those that witness its techniques, should the user desire. When passing through mediums Grace inherits two characteristics of Lightning Release. The first is that it is an efficient conductor, able to pass through liquid mediums very efficiently. When passing through liquid mediums Grace’s speed or damage is enhanced, varying per technique. When Grace interacts with or penetrates a solid surface its energy will typically branch outward, crackling through the surface in geometric patterns. In terms of releasing the element, Grace is primarily produced within the body and is released from any Chakra point available to the user. But given its origins in Lightning Release it can also be produced by concentrating Chakra in a single location away from the user.

Grace’s primary mechanic is called Faith in the Golden Order, or Faith. There are two fundamental principles that form the foundation of Golden Order doctrine and Faith. The first is called the Law of Causality, the pull between meanings. Causality is the pull between meanings; the connections that form the relations of all things. This principle is derived from the nature of evolutionary life and how, in one way or another, all living beings are derived from the same thing. The second is the Law of Regression. It is the Golden Order’s desire to have all things converge eternally with it. In other words: it is a power of obedience, that all must submit to the Golden Order.

Mechanically the Golden Order’s fundamentals are carried out through the concept of Faith, something derived from the Ring of Hell - the changing of one’s anatomy. Regular practice of Grace causes the user’s body to progressively transform itself in subtle ways; this is because with each Grace technique applied the Chakra that passes through their body will independently alter it to make it more proficient in using Grace techniques. This is represented as an increase in Faith. Likewise, those who suffer adversely from Grace techniques undergo anatomical changes that may not be beneficial. The former, called Faithful, enhances the user’s ability to wield Grace. The latter, called Maidenless, are hindered by the presence of Grace. While their body becomes more conducive for Grace’s use, the Faithful’s body loses its proficiency in other fields. These form the mechanics for the Law of Regression, the practice of all converging into the Golden Order. This means unlike other skills that can be specialized in, proficiency can only be obtained in Grace through regular practice and exposure to the element.

The Law of Causality is represented through Grace’s ability to form connections with others. This is similar in principle to that of Ninshu, a connection formed from the spirit. But instead of forming from spirituality these bonds are formed from vitality. They connected life forces which enables the user to sense others, exchange Health Points, share pain and other ‘physical’ sensations that are carried over electrical impulse in the body. Many of these applications are fundamentally considered Kinjutsu as they employ very consequential implications over Grace’s targets. These are not necessarily equal connections either. The user, considered Champion of the Golden Order, maintains a level of dominance in the bond.

Faith is represented as a number scale between -100 and 100, with zero as the neutral point (‘Agnostic’). Victims of Grace that fall below zero Faith will passively gain 5 Faith per turn until they reach the zero mark; this represents their bodies slowly reverting the subtle changes made by Grace over time. When the user activates a Grace technique it will typically have a value attached to it that increases their Faith. This number varies by technique with the strongest Grace techniques typically conferring the largest boons or the greatest reductions in Faith. Even the act of witnessing within defined proximities (varying by technique) a Grace technique can reduce an opponent’s Faith, though at a lower rate than if they are struck directly. Raising one’s Faith can be done through the application of advanced altering techniques that are capable of modifying one’s body, specifically Yang Release, Suen, and the Children of Tiamat. Likewise, the user is able to lower their own Grace manually as well.

Benefits and drawbacks of Faith, for the user, beneficiaries, and their victims, occur both gradiently and at thresholds. These are divided into ‘Faithful’ and ‘Maidenless.’ The Faithful are those benefiting from positive Faith, typically the user. Those who are Maidenless lack Faith and suffer from the drawbacks of negative exposure. Gradiently Faith will increase the user’s Grace damage based on how much Faith they have. At extreme levels the user’s damage becomes precipitously high, sacrificing many fields they would otherwise have access to. These restrictions cannot prohibit the user’s ability to use Grace itself but can limit access even to the fields that compose it. In fact, they actually grow stronger. Certain techniques within Grace, or specific applications or variants within a technique, are restricted to higher Faith levels to reflect their greater power, potency, or versatility.

Faith is measured and explained in a distinct reference technique within Grace’s custom element techniques; it is called ‘Golden Order.’

Grace has three primary applications based on the fields it is derived from. The first is a supplementary field used to benefit the user and their allies. It provides a myriad of buffs to strengthen, reinforce, heal, or reduce or amplify damage intake. As Grace possesses sentience it allows the user to identify allies and the user’s targets. Many Grace techniques are dual purpose, allowing them to achieve supplementary and offensive applications simultaneously. Grace can also be used to provide temporary anatomical modifications on a larger scale to the user, their friends, or even their foes.

Grace’s second application is an offensive energy. Put simply, Grace is weaponized to deliver its strikes at foes while simultaneously reducing their Faith to make them vulnerable, debuff them, and limit their combat performance. At its simplest level Grace is used like Lightning Release. The user can wield and mold it like any energy. When Grace strikes a target, organic or not, it will typically branch out as it spreads in geometric or shattering like patterns. This effect is specific within certain techniques, with its range and potency varying depending on the application and the user’s level of Faith.

Grace itself is classified as a Kinjutsu through its governance over vital energy, ability to defy death, and its interactions with the natural order. While some techniques within the field are themselves not classified as Kinjutsu (i.e. a normal bolt of energy or the Golden Order itself, simply a reference technique), given their scale, effects, or purpose, the overall field still remains classified as such.

Consequently, Grace is also able to defy the natural order. Depending on the user’s level of Faith there are certain Grace techniques that are able to delay or outright prevent the user’s incapacitation, maiming, or even death. These levels of Grace afford the user a highly aggressive fighting style, allowing them to enforce the Golden Order on others through their Grace through reckless combat that encourages the user to take risks, even at the cost of their own life, while simultaneously further and further restricting their own bodies and field uses. For example, if the user loses their arm at the Templar threshold of Grace then their body will emit radiant golden light and restructure the user’s arm in golden energy and a series of runes within its place, replacing its functionality temporarily. This also applies to defying death entirely; should the user’s torso be blown open and their vital organs significantly damaged then the golden energy of Grace will sustain their bodily functions.

There are a few examples we have already seen that are mixing the raw energies of the basic five elements and put them together with the complex elements of Yin and Yang. The fact that both have already been in approved forms supports the case to allow the mixture of Yang and Lightning. Lightning in itself we know already carries properties that have different impacts on living organisms such as stun, blindness and shock. Yang, being a representative of life, light, vitality and physical energy also makes it a clear resolution to why this is possible to achieve.
How it works:
Lucentari is lightning combined with Yang which is what gives the element it's unique looks and abilities, shedding most similarities with the regular lightning release upon first sight. Instead of the violet/light blue or white light that lightning release usually carries, Lucentari release has it's colors leaning towards a reddish bright light with a pulsating frequency akin to a visible heartbeat radiating with static current. However its not just the color that makes a very distinct display, Lucentari is not infact scattered electron particles such as Lightning release but rather minuscule radiating red moths built with charges of both Yang and Lightning that all chain together to form a quasi sentient field. This is a very particular case deriving from the powers of Yang - the ability to breathe life into chakra. While it's impossible to see these small individual creatures when forming in a large scale technique, a separate lucent moth can be seen due to the red light it radiates although this is quite rare. Akin to Lightning release, Lucentari is an energy element in its entirety and can travel through most if not all mediums relatively unhindered even through liquids and solid metals or other earthen based materials leaving red ash and static red discharges upon flowing throughout a solid or liquid medium. Also a derivative from the Lightning release is that Lucencari is able to be channeled through mediums and thus techniques can be created not necessarily from the user themselves and concentrated from afar. That said, it still can be concentrated from the user as well and use focal points like the users palms or mouth to channel Lucentari from. Because Lucentari contains the aspects of Yang it is self sustained and doesn't cease in it's body until destroyed.

Because Lucentari is containing the quasi-sentient moths its trajectory can easily be manipulated by a mental command from the user if needed to be and thus track a moving target. The speed of the Lucentari follows the traditional jutsu speeds, however because it contains Lightning release it is indeed one of the faster types of elements. Because it also contains high Yang proportions it can also deal more damage and contain more chakra than regular elements and thus becomes a force to be reckoned with as it also shaves off any weaknesses that Lightning has bar the Suen release that has a distinctive strength towards Yang which Lucentari is inherently weak towards while retaining its strength to earth and earth like materials. Another note about the Lucentari release is that it can also retain a trajectory but change its pattern drastically on its way there to bypass physical structures or obstacles that the user of the release perceive. They can branch out akin to Lightning release or swarm into most structural shapes at will after having being essentially fired. This makes the Lucentari release one of the most notoriously tricky elements to dodge or simply place a shield between to defend against. While it sounds powerful, and it is, reshaping a Lucentari technique is actually a technique in itself (to be submitted) and while thus consume an extra moveslot to do.

Now to the more unique features about Lucentari that has two forces that are inherent from the ways of Yang itself. The first one called Luminae is a force that is present within the element at all times passively. As Yang is the energy of light itself, the element itself is a progenitor of it. This means that Lucentari has the power to become the brightest physically possible element in existence and outshine anything on the field and cause temporary or in some cases permanent blindness. It is also a very good decoy to completely rid itself or its user from a visual perspective as it illuminates even the darkest battlefields to the point it would be like standing in the middle of the sun. The Luminae trait itself deals no damage but can be felt by the rising temperature it brings. Self sustaining sources carrying the prospects of Luminae can be used to gradually cause the light effect to drop on anyone within its vicinity and used as beacons or decoys. The Luminae effect on blindness is scalable from temporary blindness to a permanent one (permanent as in rest of the battle or rest of the NW arc). It is also not as simple as a mechanism that it sounds like as Light in itself is actually ceased within a users eye akin to that of an Mangekyo Sharingan user loses the light in their eye using forbidden techniques such as Izanagi.

On a scale from 0-100 the lack of Light from an affected target is displayed, with everyone having a starting point at 100 and reaching 0 means permanent lack of Light in a similar fashion to how Sanity works. Going from 100 to 80 there is no clear loss of visuals except that long distance vision becomes blurrier and it's harder to see shadows but it doesn't really have any real impacts yet. Going from 79-60 and actual stats are starting to decay. Base tracking is deducted by a factor of -10 and contrasts seems to fade giving the afflicted the inability to see Long range away and only up to mid/short range. Dojutsu techniques can only be used up to S-rank. 59-40 the tracking becomes even more reduced and essentially nullifies any sort of active or passive boosts from a victim while their base tracking is reduced by the same amount as before. They may now also only see up to Short range. Dojutsu techniques can only be used up to A-rank 39-20 this levels puts a static base tracking on an afflicted down to 5 and they lose the ability to see anything in front of them further than their own arms length. Dojutsu powers can only be used up to B-rank. 19-0 total blindness takes place and reaching down to 0 will leave a target permanently blinded and unable to restore the value by themselves. Ocular powers are also completely ceased to be used as the light in their eye has completely been lost and not just the vision itself. In order to restore lack of Light the afflicted needs to utilize any sort of healing mechanism on par with the technique that is used to cause the blindness, Touch of the Sun for example. External sources can also heal this factor at the cost of risking being afflicted themselves if not careful. Each separate Lucentari technique carries a set amount of Light that needs to be considered to an opponent or ally afflicted by the technique.

The second unique trait to the element Lucentari is a force simply called Lament. This power is intrinsic to Yang as well, just like Luminae but has it's ties to life rather than light. To put it simply, Lament hosts the power to simply give or cease the control the idea of life. Lightning itself actually somewhat shares this aspect, being able to stop and start a humans heart through currents - however this ability is mainly given due to the fact that Lucentari utilizes Yang. On an anatomic level, cells will cease to live causing tissue to decay and rot off on affected areas if enough time passes as there is a gradient for power scaling reasons - meaning getting stuck by Lucentari does not mean instant death out of the blue but will start a process of necrosis - cell death. The process can vary in speed depending on the level of the technique or chakra input more specifically or if techniques solemnly prioritizes this effect rather than blunt damage. Afflicted areas will start to glow pale red with the very same pulsating feature that the Lucentari release carries. The powers of Lament will flow through the tissue and start to ceasing all possibilities of life in the area giving a loss of feel followed by paralysis and ultimately death. The very same process can be used but in reverse as well, resurrecting dead organs or completely destroyed limbs essentially from the dead if enough time or chakra is being spent. This means that also deceased bodies will start to have life breathed into them once again and rekindle their bodies in a zombiefied state, regenerating lost tissue and ultimately back to peak human conditions. Doing something as grand as this however comes with a lot of limitations and specific techniques needs to be created to perform such action while the simplest version of Lament in a beneficial way is simply to restore broken anatomy on an ally or the user themselves. Because Lament is by default present in every Lucentari technique, it is the given force that makes them immune towards the effects of Luminae.

Declined, DNR: There are a couple things wrong with this so I'll start off from the top and go down. Okay what is this element really, you say it's a combination of Lightning and Yang but it takes the form of sentient butterflies cool. But then you are allowed to control or shift its movements on a whim to evade obstacles (even if it requires its own technique having this as innate trait of a CE is wild). As well as making the element inherently sustained, thats a no no. Now on to what your CE actually does. You say that Yang is the progenitor of light, the element of light. Which isn't inherently wrong based on the description of Yang release but I'd like to know since when does that allow you to use Yang to permanently blind opponents. You didn't even use Lightning as the main source of blinding an opponent (Which has been shown in the manga/anime). Alright cool so you blind the opponent on a sliding scale of exposure (not sure why you would do this but alright). So let's say you do in fact permanently blind the opponent, how does that stop them from using Dojutsu techniques(obviously doujutsu techniques requiring sight are a no brainer but what about things that do not)? It's poorly explained, you don't even say how your element actually does it, you just say it does but "making it the brightest material in existence". Why would someone be unable to cure their own blindness? (You also later on say that they can through healing techniques such as Touch of the Sun which is contradictory). For the Lament ablity, you didn't really describe anything special all you did was describe what healing was and what damaging is in a very long winded way. How is the user not affected by the brightest thing in existence as well, and how come the scale does not apply to you as well? The sliding scales that do exist in the RP affect both the opponent. The element is based on: Lightning+Wind+Fire

Facts that prove the element to be possible (in the manga context): Thunder is a naturally occurring phenomena in our world as well as the Narutoverse. This is seen most famously when Sasuke prepares his Kirin jutsu. He has to first create thunderclouds.

Thunder Release exists as a white lightning bolt mixed with super heated air. In the Narutoverse Lightning Release primarily exists in the form of blue and yellow electricity. Lightning appears in various colors depending on its temperature. The reason why electricity rarely creates thunder is because its temperature isnt hot enough. White lightning, the lightning that strikes in the sky, however is lightning of the highest temperatures and is more than capable of superheating air to create thunder.

While it hasnt been explicitly stated, the 2 Tailed Beast can create blue fire which would logically mean its flames are hotter than regular yellow and red fire. Our RP also tends to follow this line of logic that its blue flames are hotter since the blue flames are hot enough not to have a weakness to water. This is a precedent that plasma, which can change color based on its temperature, exists in the Narutoverse and is recognized within the RP.

How it works: Thunder Release exists as a white lightning bolt form of energy covered in superheated air. In order to create Thunder release, the user combines Raiton and Katon to create an extremely hot form of plasma, White Lightning, which is then coated with Fuuton that also gets superheated to the point that the air can explode via the rapid expansion.

  • Wind: Wind only adds to Thunder Release’s power in a similar elemental relationship to that of fire and wind. The air gets superheated as well.
  • Lightning: The superheated air acts as an insulator to the bare Lightning
  • Earth: The Thunder Release can easily rip through gravel.
  • Wood: The Thunder Release can easily rip through and burn Wood Release

There is a plethora of cannon elements that are noticably enhanced with Yin and or Yang throughout the series that we have seen making it possible to infuse Yin or Yang into elements is also a cannon ability/technique. By using Fire and Yin the natural prospects of flames are enchanted being able to create some of the unnatural effects it has on its surroundings and effect on a target that regular flames do not wield intrinsically.

Devour uses the primordial element fire as a source to host the powers of Yin which in turn turns the flames into an unnatural color scheme ranging from deep purple all the way up to a crimson pale light making it clear for anybody to realize that this is no ordinary flames indeed. This of course is only achievable on rudimentary surroundings, in interactions with techniques the Devour release pertains an elemental neutrality towards everything it encounters and thus relies on its damage/chakra output to achieve above stated scenario. This means a moral dispute may take place between a victim and their summoning/teammate which translates to the inability for both parties to perform jutsus at the same timeframe. There are no changes in precepting or intercepting mind targeting techniques at this level however. Descending the hierarchy of levels will also keep the effects of the previous level.
Between 21-40 the effects increases and a target will start to develop hatred towards an ally or an ability of their own. If an ally can reverse summon, the afflicted will do so in order to get rid of them but if that’s not the case they will simply refuse to follow up on any combos and rather starting to dish out their hatred for their ally for as long as they are present making them unable to perform techniques in the same turn. They will stop using techniques that fall under their last used element above A-rank as they start despising it. As their willpower gets lowered and their mind descending, spiritual attacks or genjutsu techniques will require extra (+1 rank increase) chakra from the afflicted to break free while not dealing any more damage necessarily.
Between 41-60 points and the afflicted mind becomes entirely unable to work with an ally making reverse summoning happening instantly or they straight up starts to attack their ally until they are defeated or leaving the fight. They will stop using techniques that fall under their last used non-elemental field above A-rank as they start despising it. Genjutsu and mind-altering techniques root into the afflicted mind deeper now as well and can bypass any passive Genjutsu defenses the afflicted might have.
Between 61-80 points, madness is starting to be visually seen on the afflicted from a distance as they cannot cope using their Kekkei Genkai/Hidden Ability/Custom Clan as they start to develop hatred towards themselves above B-rank. Using techniques under this umbrella at all also inflicts spiritual recoil damage of 40 damage points per techniques used. Genjutsu and mind-altering techniques will deal an increased amount of spiritual damage on an afflicted (+20 or become a rank more effective if lacking damage points).
Between 81-99 points the madness is now almost absolute whereas the afflicted has now started to develop hatred for their own chakra overall and becomes completely unable to use any chakra based techniques at all without inflicting 60 damage points affecting their spirit. They lose the means of breaking Genjutsu or mentally afflicting techniques by themselves entirely.
At 100 points their hate has become pinnacle as the afflicted is taking 60 damage per turn remaining at this state towards their spirit whilst refusing to move or use any of their own techniques.

The second passive trait that hosts all Devour techniques is a perk named Volatile. This is not anything that affects the mind itself but rather material that clashes with Devour. As previously mentioned, Devour has the ability to break down fundamental structures of raw material as well due to the Yin aspect that flows in it which in turn, if the technique is strong enough, will give a material that is struck by Devour the unintentional or unwilling change in its natural structure as is Yin famous for with the Change into Heaven technique. Not only does Volatile give the ability to break down material into a fundamental state but it can also make a material become solid/liquid/gaseous on interaction. This also means that techniques fueled by chakra clashing with a Devour technique may succumb to this transformation and essentially may backfire on their user if appropriate. Same thing as in Suppression individual techniques of Devour may contain this perk solemnly in order to affect the surroundings or clashing techniques rather than just dealing blunt damage. The effects of Volatile does not affect a human and wouldn’t allow the user to simply turn them into spaghetti on hit. It does work on raw material found in the surroundings or chakra based techniques only. Depending on the size of the technique and where the flames of Devour spreads, the Volatile effect spreads. It cannot be used anywhere where the flames are not present. Using this effect to turn material into another fundamental state, a rock to a gas etc. costs a move-turn and chakra unless a technique is solemnly used for this but in that case cannot deal any damage or have Suppression abilities.

Declined: Flames that revert something to its fundamental state is just decay release so that part won't be allowed. If I were you, i'd remove the sliding scale for two reasons. 1) So far sliding scales in the RP typically affect the user and the opponent (see Sanity.) You provide no way of recovering from the sliding scale or mitigating the suppression status effect. 2) It's complicated for no reason based on how you have it now. Okay so for one you 1-20 debuff, how does affecting one party effect the other? Sure you could hit someone with Devour but how would that stop the unaffected enemy from just timing the attack at the same time the affected person does theirs. Imo for this to work you'd have to affect both parties with Devour. Why do 21-40 and 41-60 start off with the same reverse summoning thing? Isn't that kind of redundant? For the rest of your debuffs, again how is someone supposed to release this? At a certain point, anything they do would damage them and just KO them. It's entirely too strong to have as a fundamental part of the CE. - Daemon

What it essentially means is that Devour essentially sets an afflicted mind on fire and breaks down spiritual barriers or other traits an opponent uses at the time while also preventing them from using certain abilities, hence the term Suppression. This works like a straight intrinsic status debuff and affects the mind in a negative way and works as the following. When under the influence of Suppression, no matter what damage/rank etc the Devour flames that hits the target contains of the same influence occurs and that is that the afflicted will start to take recoil spiritual damage in case they use the same fields of techniques they used in the turn they were struck. This stretches out to the basic five, KG's, AE's, CC's etc. A tick of -10 damage is inflicted towards them of spiritual damage each time they perform the same field again. To rid oneself of Suppression the target needs to use a surge of Yin, Yang, Yin/Yang, or Natural energy of the equivalent of the Devour technique that they were hit with. This means, higher damage/chakra Devour techniques will become harder to rid oneself off of the Suppression effect while lower ones becomes easier. If a target is under the influence of Suppression it will count as an active Debuff.

This revolves around the compatibility of the Yin aspect to be able to encompass a spiritual or dimension wise scope and essentially reverse them. The major idea of this perk is to affect abilities, elements etc that are entirely intangible such as souls, or other beings that cannot be interacted by normal means. Volatile will make such things tangible and become intractable once the Devouring flames have interacted with it. The perk itself deals no damage or any other aspects other than bringing something back to a state of tangibility by reversing the process itself. As a concept, it grows stronger with the Devour technique letting it affect higher ranked techniques the higher ranked the Devour technique is, based on chakra. If the Devour technique itself is of less chakra than the technique that made an object intangible it will have no effect on it at all. Naturally, this perk is only really useful on wide-scale attacks as most targets that travel are intangible are also completely void to the naked eye. To reverse the effect of Volatile, a technique that overcomes it in sheer strength will defeat it or if the flames are sealed. Volatile will also cancel itself out (disregarding what technique carries the effect) after three turns automatically which would cause a reversed intangible object/technique to regain it's intangible state. By no means can Volatile be used to make something intangible and the users own techniques may succumb to Volatile and are by no means resistant to it.

Facts that prove the element to be possible (in the manga context): Opium Release is based on the concept of Addiction. While drug abuse has not been directly showcased in the Manga, several Addictions have, such as addiction to Smoking ( Asuma ) and Drinking ( Drunken Fist Style ), which presents a clear proof of addiction to a substance, or more conceptual Addictions and Self-Harming Obessessions, such as an addiction to War and Battle from Zabuza and Kimimaro and the general culture of Ninja and most notably the Bloody Mist. Similarly, pain medication, most notably in the recovery of Lee's leg after it had been broken by Gaara, shows the possibility of opiates in the Manga.

Opium Release will follow the Spiritual and Psychological side of Addiction and Substance abuse by utilizing Yin to shift the Spiritual affliction of the Physical Elements that compose it, adding elements of Mind Manipulation and Genjutsu. The concept of Yin altering/augmenting the properties of matter and chakra has been well established in techniques such as Yin Change into Heaven and a multitude of Yin-Infused Lightning techniques that Sasuke produces.

Earth will provide the stash base, producing substances with narcotic properties known as Opiates, while Water will be suppressed and repurposed by Yin in order to create a non-Organic Element through a similar process of Earth + Water creating different species of plants ( Wood ), separating this Element from one that would produce plants ( Poppies ) but rather the active ingredient that is focused on ( Opiates ). This has been showcased by elements that produce specific matter such as Wood Release, and the existence of several species of plants making the concept of Poppies and Opiates a no-brainer. Narcotics such as Tobacco and Medical used Sedatives are also implemented in the Manga and could potentially be created through Wood Release, Medical Ninjutsu, and other abilities that showcased Narcotic/Hallucinogenic properties, like the Clam Summoning Contract and the Three Tailed Beast's Hallucinogenic Mist.

Fire will provide the properties of Fusion, in order to activate and manipulate the substances into concoctions, as it is universally used as a cooking device in order to produce Medicine, Chemics and increase Potency of these substances. In the Opium Element, it is intrinsically guided by Yin to fuse and augment the element.

Lightning will provide the effects on the organisms that are afflicted by Opium Release, due to its role in the communication of the Neurological System. Similar to Chaotic Mental Collision, the Lightning Chakra is used in Opiate Chakra to attain the property of re-wiring the brain and nervous system, integral in the Opiates' property of giving a high and suppressing pain. The Core of the Element will apply the effects of Opiates in the organism, through manipulation of Pain Receptors, Hormonal Discharge, and Brain/Nervous System Communication and Plasticity, all governed by electricity, ergo Lightning.

How it works: As established in the Proof Section, Opium Release follows the conception of Wood Release, corrupted by Yin, producing neither Wood nor Organic Matter, but rather applying the properties of Opioids through the user's Chakra to create a substance that, when interacting with other techniques and beings will behave like the drug. The appearance of Opium Release is mostly present as a strong flame-like aura of dark violet and burgundy coloration, which can be infused into other techniques and elements, giving them a sort of incandescent hue of those colors. Pure Opium Release will behave like a lazily burning flame, almost liquidy and ink-like, that will produce heat and energy but will essentially interact with elements on the tier of chakra rather than physical damage since it will always deal Spiritual Damage. This flame can be manipulated like a dark aura or an open flame, and its drug effects will be felt by those touched by it, feeling its warmth or burn, and those in the direct vicinity that sense its scent. Physically, the burning sensation will not produce inflammation on the skin other than a slightly burgundy rosacea. In Elemental interactions, Opium Release will behave with Neutrality, based on the chakra used to create either technique. It will behave strongly against Spiritual Techniques that deal with its main elements, Addiction, Pain Suppression, and Euphoria, or Elements and Abilities that alter the state of Mind ( Killing Intent, Genjutsu, etc ). It will react weakly with elements based on Anutu.

Addiction: Interacting with Opium will induce a state of Addiction in others. This translates as wantonness to keep being infused with the user's chakra, in any capacity, often to the detriment of their integrity and health. Addiction is a powerful Mind-Altering property that can increasingly manipulate the target to the User's whims. Being afflicted by Opium chakra will generically be translated as a reduction of Resistance to Damage, making the targets more permeable to being harmed by the Element itself or other techniques infused with Opium. In generic usages, the first contact with a target that is resistant to taking Spiritual Damage ( Like Yin Speciality of -30 Spiritual Damage Shaving ) would lose its Spiritual Resistance ( Normal Damage Taken ). The first contact with a target without Spiritual Resistances or the second contact with the previous target would make them become more susceptible to taking damage from techniques laced with the user's Opium chakra and Opium Techniques ( +20 Damage taken maximum ). After removing Resistances, this permeation is translated in increments of 10 damage ( Bellow B rank ), and 20 damage ( B rank and Above ), after nullifying natural or active resistances, turning it into passive damage permeation ( to a maximum of +20 damage ). This does not change the power or strength of the Opium chakra, but rather the damage that is taken by the target, not counting towards the 2 boosts/debuff that can be applied to a technique or target. The effects of Addiction are considered Spiritual in Nature and will be applied with exposure to the element, and will not be counted in Elemental Interaction against other techniques for the purpose of countering the element ( A Target more permeable to damage will not have that effect applied to techniques used to counter the user's ). Other variations of Addiction can be explored in specific techniques, such as altering the resistance values and increments or adding other concepts that fall under Addiction to the user's chakra, but will not be stapled to the general bulk of the Element itself for restriction sake.

Euphoria: Interacting with Opium will induce a state of Euphoria. This is a property that directly grants the element the ability to alter the target's state of mind. This can be used beneficially in order to suppress or reject mental manipulation, such as those employed by Memory Altering techniques, Interrogation techniques, Killing Intent, and other Supplementary effects of Genjutsu and Yin Release, such as Paralysis, Kurama's Reality Altering Genjutsu, Yamanaka's Mind-Body Techniques or higher leveled Sharingan's Hypnotic Techniques ( Though it is considered equal to MS Grade ). The elation granted by being afflicted with Opium will, at its base, directly counter or reject these effects with Elemental Superiority ( 20 Damage or 1 rank or 10 Chakra Tier, whichever is applicable ; Neutral to MS Grade ) neutralizing or overpowering them. When pertaining to Mind-Altering effects from Anutu or, more specifically, Utu, it is considered Weaker. Euphoria can be used to counter these techniques from oneself or others, with the appropriate techniques. The property of Euphoria can also be used to alter one's state of mind aggressively, essentially numbing one's senses into stronger and more resilient Illusions and an acceptance of the flaws within their details, which would usually denote that a Genjutsu or a Psyche altering technique is being used on them. Generically speaking, when laced with Opium Chakra, the methods of countering these techniques and Genjutsu are still viable, but the Plausability and Realism of the illusions cannot be given making use of Genjutsu dispelling techniques or abilities ( such as looking at one's chakra with their Sharingan to note that it's being altered ). Euphoria accounts for the hallucinogenic daze that comes from Opiates' trip, and it can be powerfully placed to alter the target's ability to denounce plausibility or realism, even producing full-blown illusionary constructs, mold other illusions and altered states or override them completely, with these more advanced manipulations of Euphoria to be described in specific Jutsu, rather than applied to the bulk of the Element.

Pain Suppression: Opium is universally used to suppress pain and the sensitivity of pain receptors. Interacting with the Element will disconnect, suppress and/or numb the Pain Receptors in the brain and body in order essentially make them feel no pain or, in advanced applications, revoke the sense of Touch entirely. The element will act as a Sedative in most applications, which can make the target or the user unaware or immune to the physical or mental pain coursing through them, though not the damage that produces it, which can be used to power through non-fatal injuries or hide potentially fatal injuries that have been dealt to others. The sedation effect is also considered elementally superior when interacting with other techniques, especially those that deal exclusively with Pain. ( 20 Damage or 1 rank or 10 Chakra Tier, whichever is applicable ). When the damage is Spiritual, it can be abated, when the damage is physical, it is wholly received ( Fully taken from the Health Pool ) yet the supplementary effects that stem from it are suppressed or countered, such as a technique that aims to Spiritually cause Pain to the target and that pain causes the target to be knocked unconscious ( A rank, 30 chakra, 60 spiritual damage ) can be countered wholly by an Opium technique of lower rank ( B rank, 20 chakra, 40 spiritual damage ), while the same technique but dealing physical damage and pain will still deal that damage unaffected but will not cause the user to be knocked out. Based on the properties of the element, the technique itself can still be countered by matching the chakra tier ( Using an A rank Opium technique, 30 chakra, 60 spiritual damage ). When dealing with the damage done by the Opioid element itself, the user is able to either numb out ( No Pain ) or maintain the mental damage and pain caused by the burn of the burgundy flames, directly stating the effect when using a technique of the element. When suppressing the pain, the user is capable of dealing spiritual damage without producing a painful sensation, whereas when not suppressing the pain the element will feel like openly burning without showcasing physical damage to the target. Regardless of the option, the pain suppression property will still be allowed to interact with exterior techniques to neutralize their damage, even if the flame openly deals excruciating pain.

Withdrawl & Rehab: While the Opium Chakra can be purged by any chakra interaction, based on the elementa's weakesses and strengths, the mental hazards that come from being afflicted with Opium with will still cause withdrawl symptoms. Namely, the effects of Addiction will persist even after the Opium chakra has been purged from the body. After spending two turns without contact with Opium Chakra, the target will generically suffer a loss of 10 points worth of spiritual damage per turn, which will last for 5 turns. Afterwards, all effects of Opium, including Addiction, will naturally be supressed and neutralized. Rehab can be achieved immediately by applying spiritually healing techniques. One must spend double the amount of chakra points as opium chakra points that have afflicted the target ( Opium technique, S rank, 40 chakra requires a Spiritual Healing Technique that invests 80 chakra, or two applications of an S rank, 40 chakra, healing technique ) In case of Anutu-based Spiritual Healing, one is required to spend half the amount of chakra as opium chakra ( One is capable of using a B rank, 20 chakra, to heal the aforementioned situation ). More advanced techniques can alter these values, to be submitted in specific Jutsu, rather than applied to the bulk of the Element.

These auxiliary effects are dealt whenever a target is hit or influenced by the opiate chakra, and are meant to mimic the actual effect that opiates have on the human body, from its medicinal application to the actual effects of opiate abuse, addiction, and overdose. The duality of the element spiritually burning and corroding the mind while still dealing with pain suppression and euphoria is a parallelism of the descent into complete mental and physical ruin when abusing and becoming dependent on the drug for its high. The Opiate chakra aims to mimic and amplify these effects by recreating them in a manner that makes sense with the rules already set in place, while still allowing for some creative freedom and battle application.

Opium Release techniques are neutral to the Physical substance of other techniques. They interact based on the chakra tier. Cosmetically, their effect and appearance stem from Fire release, causing other techniques to crumble and being pushed back in case of Neutralization or Overpowering, and be doused off or pushed back instead, in case of being Overpowered. Since its abilities stem from Yin and Spiritual damage, it will behave poorly against Anutu techniques that also deal with Spiritual Damage, or produce a physical form, counting as a weakness.

Is strong against: Opium Release is stronger than elements and spiritual techniques that pertain to Hypnosis, Pain, and Altering one's Mind State, such as Ichor, Capsaicin, Dream Sand, and the auxiliary effects of Genjutsu, Sharingan and other Doujutsu, KG, HA and Yin based applications. This includes Spiritual techniques such as Spiritual Elements, Taijutsu and Kenjutsu, and even Atavistic Techniques, but excludes Anutu and specifically Utu techniques, which are a weakness. It is considered equal to the same tier as MS-related spiritual abilities.

Declined. The summary of this check can be boiled down to a single idea: streamlining. You need to streamline your descriptions. I should be able to very quickly understand what your element is and how it works without diving into intense descriptions.

We'll go issue by issue. First major problem is that this element has a lot of potential areas to clash with Ichor Release and I'm not entirely sure how to resolve that, if it can even be resolved. But that's for you to figure out. Whether it be spiritual or physical, issues of hallucinations, pain induction/relief, paranoia, etc, are all within Ichor's domain (and to some extent Dream Sand). This has to be resolved before you can proceed with your element in any capacity. The idea of psychogenic effects on your element/technique isn't itself patented; but because you're making it as a CE and that is its core effects, then they clash. You'd essentially just be making the elements over again but with Yin Release added to them.

Next major problem: I don't really understand what this is. First, you say "follows the conception of Wood Release..." but how are you achieving that if you don't have Wood Release? Yin can't create organic matter on its own hence why Yin-Yang Release is needed to create living beings, not simply Yin alone. But then you follow up by saying that it producing neither Wood nor "Organic Matter." So what is it then? Are you making a liquid? A gas? I just don't understand what it is at all; it gets more confusing when you describe it as a flame but then you say it's "liquidy and ink-like." When I read this it seems like an attempt to intentionally confuse and leave the door open to making a liquid, fire, and a gas all at the same time.

This is the second major issue. If I can't ascertain in a single sentence the "what" of your element, then it's already far too confusing/unclear.

Addiction: Conceptually, I'm not okay with how Addiction is formatted to work. People have Spiritual Resistance for a lot of reasons, sometimes it could be an Artifact they have and completely uncorrelated to their anatomy. Being able to strip it entirely just doesn't make sense to me. Especially because Opium, as you have submitted it, is itself spiritual. If anything, Spiritual Resistance would always make Opium less effective.

Euphoria: Remove any mention of "MS Grade." it's gotta go. See the previous announcement regarding this. I'm tentatively fine with this being able to enhance plausibility on a Genjutsu but I just know you're cooking a way up to tie this to every Genjutsu you cast. So there's going to have to be some limits on that.

Overall, keep the numbers out of the submission generally. It's not a bad thing but usually those can be contained to the techniques themselves.

Facts that prove the element to be possible (in the manga context): The Naruto-universe fundamentally operates the same as ours. And with Electromagnetism being one of the four fundamental forces of the universe, we know it exists. Lightning/electricity, magnetism, electrical technology, matter, pretty much everything in existence is proof of electromagnetism in some shape or form. Our and the Naruto-universe couldn't exist as it is without it.

How it works: Electromagnetism Release is the result of combining Lightning Release, Earth Release, and Wind Release. Specifically Earth and Wind release must be combined to create Magnetism Release and then further combined with Lightning Release to create Electromagnetism Release. Of course this element is only possibly usable to a rare breed of ninja who can use Magnetism Release.

Magnetism Release has 2 general variants. The basic variant allows the user to magnetize metal ninja tools the user physically touches. The second variant only allows the the user to manipulate either one of 2 kinds of metallic sand. That being Iron Sand and Gold Sand. The element is limited to manipulating a medium. The chakra in and of itself is useless without a medium.

Electromagnetism Release chakra has a physical appearance and manifestation as pinkish purple electricity once created. The chakra carries with it a powerful electromagnetic field, that is needed to manipulate nonmagnetic materials or manipulate their magnetic field. Since Electromagnetism Release can physically exist, shape manipulation can be applied to the chakra as well for various uses.

Facts that prove the element to be possible (in the manga context):

A lot of advanced elements take multiple properties and add in new effects such as mud that burns like acid, lightning that moves like water and Crystal that can encase and crystalize solids. Jade wind is almost a misnomer, the element itself is actually Water in the form of a mist with medchakra properties. Water is a good conduit of medchakra as it can permeate the body and cells (via osmosis) as seen when Sakura extracted poison from Kanuro in Shippuden. The water was filled with med chakra to enter Kankuro's body, heal his cells and remove the poisons from his system. Med chakra can be seen either healing the body or damaging it with either mystic palm, or chakra scalpel as examples.

How it works:
Jade Wind is a combination of Water release in the form of a mist, however filled with the users medical chakra. The chakra itself can be manipulated to either beneficial to bodies or damaging, depending on the manipulation of the chakra in the mist. Essentially, the system is that the water and mist are the delivery system of the medical chakra, and depending on the application can either heal, deal damage, or produce supplementary effects. As examples; should the user make a mist comprised with healing medical chakra, they can create a haze which heals allies. If the user chooses to fill the mist with anaesthetic medical chakra then the mist can produce numbing effects upon the additional damage from being hit by a water technique. Other additional effects such as increasing allies adrenaline to increase strength and speed, balancing friendly chakra systems and other effects are limited by the scope of medical ninjutsu.
In terms of shape manipulation, the element can be manipulated as freely as wind but has a distinct physical green hue to its techniques. Although it is water release, it moves as freely as wind, and although it can move like wind, it has a physicality to it with its water droplets.

Custom element English name: Concrete Release

The element is based on: Earth + Fire + Water + Chakra Control

Facts that prove the element to be possible (in the manga context): We've seen what looks to be modern road and building infrastructure which would be require Cement and Concrete.

How it works: Concrete Release involves the creation and manipulation of concrete as well as cement. Cement is created from earthern materials that are then super heated. When the cements is mixed with even more Earth materials, and water then it becomes concrete. However often times cement and concrete are used interchangeably. With regards to the context of this element, cement will refer to the liquid form of the element while concrete will refer to the solid hardened version.

Custom element Japanese name: Akuton

Custom element English name: Nightmare Release

The element is based on: Yin + Lightning

Facts that prove the element to be possible (in the manga context): Yin Release has shown the ability to inflict spiritual damage, alter existing illusions, and interact with spiritual spaces.

How it works: Unlike most conventional elements, Nightmare Release first manifests within the mind and then in reality. The user will fuse their Inton and Raiton chakra and channel it into a spiritual space or plane to manifest a black mass which normally takes the form of sharp, writhing, shadow-like tendrils. The pitch-black energy produces a distorted crackling sound and appears to 'glitch' sporadically not unlike digital static. The user will choose a target under the effect of an existing spiritual technique (Yin, Genjutsu, Yamanaka, etc) and channel their Akuton chakra into their mind to manifest the element in that spiritual plane or to overlay an existing illusion, interact with it or even outright reshape it. Nightmare Release can consume and devour illusions and spiritual techniques. If an illusion creates illusory snakes which bind the user, Akuton can impale the snakes to break the genjutsu. Conversely, if the opponent is bound by rocks or swarmed by insects within an illusion, the user can convert these 'illusory objects' into Akuton to inflict spiritual damage on the opponent corresponding to the rank of the technique. Usually the illusory objects or features will appear to 'melt' into the black energy but the user can choose to maintain its outward form and sensory properties (e.g. illusory snakes will appear unchanged). Upon striking the opponent or being struck by an attack, this visual deception will come undone and the Akuton chakra will resume its usual appearance. If the Akuton technique manifests in reality before this happens, it will manifest with this visual camouflage intact.

As mentioned earlier, Nightmare Release manifests first in the mind and then in reality. Upon using Akuton to break an illusion or spiritual technique cast on the user, an ally or opponent, the Akuton chakra will release itself from the body and manifest in reality, appearing at a short-range distance from the target it was cast on. To an opponent, it will appear as if the spiritual technique has 'escaped' the illusion and followed them to reality. Some may go as far as to believe they haven't broken the illusion at all, instead choosing to believe they are caught in an eternal, recurring nightmare. Nightmare Release 'feeds' on illusions, using them as fodder to birth and empower itself and can devour illusions even after manifesting on the field by making direct contact with a target. The element is effective against illusions up to one rank higher than an Akuton techinque, but against illusions one-rank higher, the Akuton technique will be neutralized in the process. Against illusions the same-rank and below, Nightmare Release will devour them so completely, that the given technique will be empowered rather weakened when it appears in reality. The extent of this empowerment will be clarified in specific custom elemental jutsu. If the Genjutsu is broken by the target (rather than Akuton devouring the illusion), the Akuton technique will not manifest in reality. Similarly, if Nightmare Release successfully inflicts spiritual damage on an opponent, it will not manifest on the field. Physical contact with Akuton chakra for anyone besides the user induces paralysis and registers as a jolting pain which feels uncomfortably reminiscent of swarms of insects crawling across the body in the way the pain spreads. To the user, physical contact with Nightmare Release feels akin to an invigorating current that banishes states of drowsiness and diminished alertness.

Description: Upon realizing they've been caught in an illusion, the user will channel their Akuton chakra to manifest a floating creature consisting of writhing tendrils within the illusion. This creature will extend its tendrils towards the object or creature created by the opponent's illusion to impale it. The illusory object/creature will be drawn into writhing tendrils and devoured completely, appearing to melt into a black mass the same shade and visual texture as Akuton chakra. This will break the illusion the user is caught in and the Akuton chakra will release itself from the body, allowing the writhing ball of tendrils to manifest in reality within a short-range of the user, upon which it can be used to attack the opponent.
