Beaten badly? Earlier you said mid difference:

Sasuke wins mid difference. There is nothing in the manga to suggest that 4 Gates' Lee's Speed matches one-tailed Naruto. Sasuke has Chidori and a myriad of basic attacks to take down Lee. He's a much more proficient Ninja over all in terms of ninjusu, shurikenjustu, and speed. He isn't losing.

Surely the fifth Gate would push it to high in your eyes wouldn't it?

drunken lee can't properly use gates. gated lee gets predicted. Drunken lee is harder to predict but still gets owned.

And for striking speed and unpredictability, killer bee has yet to be matched in this manga.

kakashi only said he was fast. He never once said damn my sharingan can't see him. Kakashi was merely surprised b y that speed.

considering lee blindly attacks while drunken in gates he would just tear himself to shreds. His attacks wouldn't be as focused so he would lose some of his ability in gates. Also considering a simple scratch wakes him from drunken fist, the pain from gates would awaken him immediately. And neither would be hard to predict for the sharingan. And You are comparing part 1 lee (4 in speed), to 7th gate Guy( max speed)

now compund these abilities and sasuke is at least on the level of gated lee. Now consider gated lee has no counter to sasuke's katon( wasn't even influenced by the curse mark at the time) and would be continuously hurting himself and its a clear victory for sasuke.

Whether or not lee noted sasuke is fast isn't my problem..did sasuke see lee fight gaara?..he would have been left speechless by his speed..sasuke in part 1 is nothing compared to gated lee when it comes to speed..you have to be joking if you really believe sasuke is on gated lee's level in terms of speed..that's just a joke..then again sasuke takes a lot of stamina to maintain that speed..when lee had a 4 in speed at that time in the DB..sasuke had a 3 in speed...and im pretty sure DB rates them in terms of base speed or else naruto would have a 5 as well with his kcm in the 3rd DB rating so it's obvious it's without enhancements..kimmimaro also noted lee to be very fast as well..so it's just not gaara
