)[/SUP] Points Allocated: 15 Points Spent: 5 History (Optional): While it is unclear exactly when the Murim were officially established, all existing records and texts state that it was founded by a group of warrior monks who banded together as a means of learning, and teaching one another martial arts, to protect themselves from the dangers of the Ninja World. As word spread of their skills, many people quickly attempted to meet with them in order to become their disciples. Fearing that the world of Shinobi would eventually come to see them as a threat, they extinguished all rumors of their existence, passing them off as a mere urban myth, took in as many students as they could possibly teach at one time, then closed their doors for decades. In time the world forgot about them, as new Masters of Martial Arts were born within the Murim, and more and more disciples appeared, believing the rumors to be true. The size of the World of Murim slowly, but steadily increased, with Clans and Schools eventually being formed within the Murim, leading to the Murim World of the present day.
Known only to a small, secretive sect throughout the Ninja World, the Murim is a kind of "Hidden Martial Arts World", comprised of some of the most powerful martial artists the world has never seen. Officially it is comprised primarily out of Nine Great Schools, each with their own Leader, Dojo, Fighting Styles, etc, who wildly differ, depending on the nature of the school. And while there is much dispute within the Murim over which School is the "strongest", there is no true central governing body, as each School typically regulates it's own members, and settles it's own disputes internally. However, an Alliance exists within the Murim, comprised of respected elders from each School & Clan, who gather together only when needed to settle major disputes within, or when matters concerning the future of the Murim occur. They enforce the law of the Murim, and protect it's secrecy whenever necessary. However, even within the apparently pristine World of Murim, there exists a seedy underbelly, consisting of countless illegal fighting rings, bands of lawless delinquents who cause chaos for regular people on a daily basis, an underground drug smuggling operation that promises power to those who take it, and scheming factions who believed the founder's ideal that the world of Murim should be separate from the Ninja World was wrong, and wish to see the wall between the two torn down. As such, there are two paths within the Murim that one can identify as, which are as follows;
(Jungdo) Path of Justice
As the name suggests, the Jungdo are the side of the Murim who honor their laws and codes, and operate within the regulated system of Martial Arts, and strive to maintain and uphold it, all while furthering their Martial Arts skills. Categorized by their sense of righteousness, strong sense of justice, and belief in fairness.
(Mado) Path of Demons
The “dark” side of the Murim, for lack of a better term. They seek to subvert the system, twist it to their own needs and ends, or shatter it entirely, revealing the existence of the Murim to the world. They encourage strength, and promote violence, brutality, and cheating above all else.
Murim Hierarchy
Jungdo Schools & Clans: Within the Jungdo of the Murim there exists the Nine Great Schools. Made up of countless Masters and students within each, all have a Dojo scattered throughout the Lands of the Ninja World. The schools are as follows:
The North Star School: Fighting style consists of leg-based Martial Arts, with an emphasis on grapples and throwing. It is rumored that, with enough force, they can create turbulent winds with sheer leg strength alone.
The Iron Fist School: They primarily teach fist-based Martial Arts, whose practitioner's fists are strong enough to shatter rib cages with no effort. Their ultimate technique involves hardening the body to the same level as that of iron.
The Heavenly Maiden School: It's members only consist of women, and whose Martial Arts always involve the administration of poisons, toxins, venoms, etc, and occasionally wield projectile weapons, not unlike Kunoichi.
Strong Dragon School: Easily recognized by their sword-based Martial Arts, it is said that, upon achieving the pinnacle of this School's style, one can wield anything as if it were a sword, even their own finger.
Song Clan School: Well rounded school whose emphasis on defense makes them very sturdy fighters. As a result, they are considered neutral parties in disputes, and tend to act as enforcers for the Murim Alliance's will.
Artists Society: Primarily consisting of women, but open to students of any kind, the Artists Society utilize a form of Martial Arts developed by imprisoned women who use their opponent's own strength against them. They also teach their students the value of inner strength through meditation.
One Moon School: Blissfully unaware that they are single-handedly responsible for the production of the Murim's underground drug smuggling operation, the One Moon School doesn't teach Martial Arts, but instead creates medicines to help with the processes involved in the numerous Martial Arts of the Murim.
Homeless Association: Despite their humble appearance, lack of an established Dojo, and seemingly no Martial Arts skills, the Homeless Association, and by extension, they're Beggar Leader; Seo Hang-Ryang, are masters of infiltration and stealth operations via hiding in plain sight, hit and run tactics, and act as an easily mobilized, massive work force. They also gather intel from the current era, and relay it back to the Alliance, and are typically the first responder's to any public Murim incident. Finally, despite their humble appearance, they are taught the value of utilizing any tool or weapon that comes into their hand, whether they be trash or treasure, and as a result, they are masters of countless weapons.
Sun-Woo Clan: Masters of overwhelming their opponents through sheer speed, the Sun-Woo also developed a method of heating the body through internal-energy moulding, giving their strikes an incredibly deadly heat, which is where their name ultimately derived from.
Mado Factions & Groups: Much like the Jungdo, the Mado has it's own technical hierarchy, though, despite some factions and groups seemingly being much stronger, and even possessing similar goals, they tend to take offense that any of them is leader to the other. They are a lawless bunch, and that is how they like it.
S.U.C: The S.U.C, or "Soldiers Under Command", are the run of the mill, standard delinquents and "drop outs" from the Nine Great Schools, or Martial Artists who entered the Murim World without ever joining a School, or Clan. They believe that they are the disciples of the greatest Martial Artist known to the Murim; The Nine Arts Dragon, though his existence has long been suppressed, and heralded as a myth. Though not very common, powerful individuals within the S.U.C will band together, and cause chaos within major cities, Villages, and Landmarks throughout the Ninja World, though otherwise, they're harmless nobodies looking to pick a fight. Due to most of them lacking any real skill with Martial Arts, they rely on special drugs, provided by a mysterious dealer known as Seung-Jae Bae, or the "Genius Doctor" to allow them to mimic the true Martial Arts of the Murim.
Black Forest Defence: Lead by a mysterious figure who only works through underlings, the B.F.D is an independent group of highly skilled Martial Artists who oppose the Murim Alliance at every opportunity, even to the extent that some would consider them their "rivals". From ensuring that the drugs continuously flow from the One Moon School, and into the hands of the S.U.C, using an intermediary to keep the tensions high, and their members busy with countless incidents, to their ultimate goal of exposing the Murim World through intricate plans of a grand nature. They will stop at nothing to achieve that goal, and are not above sacrificing their own members, theft, abduction, murder, etc in order to achieve it.
Shinmujengpe
An annual Martial Arts Championship, during which Martial Artists compete in a total of nine different tests of strength and skill in an attempt at earning a "seat". Each seat refers to a single conceptual technique within the Murim, and earning one grants one a place of great honor, and respect within the Murim. It is akin to earning a title of Mastery over a certain skill, or field, however each seat traditionally belongs to a certain School or Clan, as they focus on maintaining their attained seat through rigorous, focused training. However, each seat is not necessarily only ever attained by a student of the School to which the seat traditionally belongs. It is possible for a single person to attain more than one seat, with the ultimate title one attains by claiming all nine seats, the Nine Arts Dragon. However, the arrival of such a person should never be allowed to come to pass, as it is a grim foreboding for the future of the Murim. For what would become of a World that bore the ultimate warrior, that none among them could stop alone? However, attaining multiple seats is not forbidden, as there was once a man from the Song Clan who attained three seats, and earned the title of "Three Arts Dragon".
A clan formed by chance, between two unlikely individuals that crossed path on the mysterious mist Island in the Water Archipelago. King happened upon the island by chance in search of answers and atonement for his past regrets, while Kaizen was already on the island, in search of his own answers, being in search of those who had destroyed his home, the Fire Temple. He had followed to suspicious individuals from the land of fire who he believed to be the culprits leading him to the mining system where the residence resided. As the events unfolded, Kings journey led him into the mines where i he had many questions about the mist and the strange individuals that Kaizen was also seemingly interested in. From this the unlikely alliance was formed, a trust without question grew into what seemed to be a great team.
Working together they gathered information on these two enemies, engaging them in combat while protecting the civilians within the mines, putting the lives of them before their own. Left with a choice of pursuit or saving the people within the mines, without any hesitation the two of them put the lives of the people first protecting them. After this, they then proceeded to try and find answers, using King's unique Doujutsu to scout out a camp that was hidden in the mist, the found a small camp that they would work together to infiltrate to steal information. It was another piece of evidence of how well they worked together.
From the information they gathered, they could tell that these men were part of a larger organization that were up to no good on the island, suppressing the people that lived there leaving them confined to the mines. Kaizen and king agreed to put and end to this where they would assault the main base to cut the head off the snake. The fight drew out and it seemed as though it was going in their favour, they could put an end to the common enemy and end what they had started, though it wouldn't be that easy. A new foe arrived leaving more questions, one with such speed, power and skill, alone King couldn't keep up. The only thing they could do would be to bond together and form a solid alliance for the futures, this bond, this Alliance would become the clan known as Historia.

What's going on here is the diplomatic merger of the White Lotus into the Golden Sabbath, or more specifically what the Golden Sabbath is growing into and building itself up to become. Together, the Golden Sabbath, the Reapers and the White Lotus are banding together each representing the most expansive clans found in the Badlands of Earth. This action will create one entity that holds supremacy over the Badlands, with no other clan or faction in the Badlands of Earth to oppose them. This is the organization that will become Tsumigakure and is a narrative that was being built toward since the very first arc of the WSE ( for example, the first alliance between the Golden Sabbath and the White Lotus goes all the way back to six months ago ). Through everything, all of the work, setbacks, and oppression ( had a whole arc about raiding our lands and stealing our stuff ), and RP each arc built into this final merger. Even when Takauji Ashikaga placed bounties on the Golden Sabbath, they sought aid from the Reapers and from the White Lotus and pulled the wool over his eyes draining the opposing faction's currency and drawing their attention away from the Badlands of Earth through the Battle of Shinramoto and the Razing of Degarashan. Through alliances built between the Golden Sabbath and the White Lotus and then the Golden Sabbath and the Reapers and then the Reapers and the White Lotus, a collective was formed to stand against those who would try and take what they've claimed as theirs. Applying for the update through the normal rules of conquest.

Its organizers later assassinated by 'Black Ones' causing civil unrest throughout the Freehold. This began a series of organizations to form underground, all with like minded individuals with plans to over-through the Freehold and bring new leadership to the land. Years Later, in 803; Hanguri was unable to pay even the interest on its sovereign debt. The Hanguri Freehold defaults on its payments and is soon declared insolvent by the department of finance. Bureaucrats and soldiers alike cease to receive wages and chaos ensues as the central state apparatus essentially collapses. A financial depression begins, causing many underground organizations to radicalize and seek Justice. The like minded views of peace twisted by the crisis at hand. Year 804, The Kyūbi mysteriously appears in the center of the capital, causing untold destruction as it reduces the city to rubble and ruins. Without its central government the Freehold of Hanguri as a nation state essentially dissolves almost overnight. It's unknown what radicals caused this but the resulting vacuum caused anarchy throughout the Ninja World. Many states began to form in it's wake as new organizations began to form, and others crawled out from the shadows. As things settled and new lines are drawn and constantly shift. A Syndicate formed with one a simple ideal of the Land of Lightning being full of growth and prosperity. A stable and united state unhindered by petty disputes. After many years of travelling by himself, the young Uchiha was just looking to remove himself from the world and live in peace. He found this in a small community, withing the Thousand needles. Though he aimed to hide his history as a ninja his skills would play a vital roll, first with his teaching skills, teaching them how to fish with basic ninja skills, to defending the village itself without even using his ninjutsu. Through his noble deads people would come to love him as he joined a new community, one that would become known as The Horde.
While within the clan, Sin would face new challenges as a leader. The first was the way his people lived, in run down huts and broken homes as the land didn't provide, but where the land didn't, Sin could. It was in this time that he would have to reveal his secret, his true identity, that he was actually a shinobi, though he was still welcomed with open arms. With this he decided to put his skills to use and formed the great Air Nation[Formed here].
Having formed a great place for the people to live, the clan could build a new way of life, increase trade and put themselves on the map, but with that reputation, brought trouble. Not everyone would want to pull their own weight, with increasing numbers came increasing crime, which would lead to Sin training his fellow villagers to help defend themselves.
