TBH his swordplay is lacking if lost grip of his sword in mid combat. That's a lack of discipline no matter how you look at it.
In a situation between equally skilled swordsman that's a fatal mistake.
well it happens once in a while. he grabs it back and goes on a rampage. sasuke disarmed bee, bee disarmed suigetsu, gai disarmed kisame from samehada etc. it happens, doesnt take anything away from them.
he didnt use anything better. merely swinging the blade is not any sort of skill. thats the difference btw a generic attack and a seasoned one. its the difference between a straightforward punch that tsunade and sakura display as compared to gai who uses actual taijutsu skills. you dont just look at one instance and declare, you look at the whole package including the first one were he clkashes evenly with a guy weilding a giant saber light object.
adult naruto used both hand seals to create shadow clones, sasuke did it with ease with one hand, by your logic sasuke used it better than him in that instance. but if i were to proclaim it, am sure you would be all over my head.
thats actually harder because he had to slice several obstacles from different angles, to accomplish that requires quick unorthodox like movements and he did with so much finesse with one arm.
not butthurt(that word is seriously overused). just simply disagree. naruto did good considering hes never used it before but lets not take it too far.
:bdpf:. this thread is funny though
he has a straight up kenjutsu battle with kinshiki and matches him. from their clash you can tell that they are both swordmasters and it was a lenghty clash, and not a 3 secs one off swing.
