I'm talking about the cloak mode. Both are different sensing. Cloak has emotion sensing and sage mode has danger sensing.

yes but cloak mode is more of a tank while the sage mode is more evasive. thats the reason why naruto sage mode was able to deal with raikage rather than the cloak mode. cloak mode got stomped. in terms or speed cloak mode yes when traveling/make big as$ rasangans but in battle where you need to make quick counters you use sage mode. sage mode is perfect for taijutsu

even naruto couldnt see this coming(in 9ts mode and sage). moves this close or unpredictable are honestly unavoidable and are the only things that naruto cant evade.

Not really. They were starting to catch up during the last part of their confrontation, even though that was with their avatars rather than base, so I'm not sure if the same thing applies to this thread, but the point still is that they couldn't get in a single hit on him until the very last blow.

Yea but it's always like that in Naruto for some reason. Naruto vs Raikage. Bee vs Raikage. Naruto/Sauce vs Obito. Edo kages vs both Juubi jins etc. Tho agreed.

If we’re talking a straight taijutsu fight with 0 jutsus any age sasuke takes any age naruto except as adults, naruto takes that one imo

I think Sasuke's base speed is better than Naruto's considering he doesn't have modes and what-not.

Before that, their bases were very similar, eerily so. Like you can't expect base Naruto to match out Sasuke who is in a 24/7 state of being in his most powerful form. Whilst Naruto has multiple forms to increase his power.

If we are talking RSM Naruto v. Rinnegan Sasuke, then they are neck and neck. I'm not going to go into sematics in terms of shadow clones, setups, Genjutsu, etc.

They should be roughly about the same.

RSM naruto has shown better streng and speed feats then any version of sasuke so pretty sure he slays him in cqc.

No ninjutsu allowed means no shadow clones. From skimming through the pages, it seems people believe that Naruto is physically that much stronger and more durable than Sasuke and would overpower him. This is simply not true and you need to go rewatch the boruto movie. As per above, Sasuke base stats are made to pretty much match Naruto's cloaked stats or how would they be equals.

You can see below for reference. Speed, neck and neck, strength, neck and neck, durability same. Not sure how much durable naruto is supposed to be if a sword is piercing him in cloak form almost same as normal anyways.

Refer to below fight. Sasuke strength feats. He actually showed more impressive strength feats than Naruto in this fight, but i'll let y'all judge.

This is nice and all, but what some people seem to ignore is the fact that Frog Kata is basically Shadow clones replacement on steroids. (Refer to Pain fight)

Also from the last - present, Naruto's taijutsu isn't shadow clone heavy.

Are we forgetting that BASE Naruto was doing exceptionally well against Momo? Meanwhile the Kages got low-diffed.
