I just can't recall the manga chapter where Itachi talks about Shisui, and I don't feel like searching for a stupid fanboy like you, and you jsut said it yourself he couldn't change the code, Nor Itachi could. You make me wonder.. Do you have a brain man ?

You really think Itachi can Amaterasu the entire village? If you do you must be overestimating Itachi by ridiculous amounts. Even if Itachi Amaterasu'd the entire village he'd be out of stamina at that point and he couldn't keep up Susano'o or use Tsukuyomi, which basically means he dies pretty quickly.

To OP:
No he can't. He can't in any way, shape, or form. Nagato blew the entire village to dust and killed the majority of the people there in one move. He also killed every non-fodder ninja there with ease, something Itachi could likely do, but lacks the stamina that Nagato has. Kisame could probably continously kill the fodders while Itachi would have to take on the non-fodder ninja and he would eventually tire out.

Ok I'm just a stupid Itachi fanboy (kidding I'm not a fanboy though I like Itachi) But when Itachi fought Sasuke he set on fire with amaterasu the whole surrounding area. He spams this a few times and a huge part of the village will be amaterasu-d and it will spread on.

But yes he has no eyes on his back and he'll run out of chakra.
So I dont say he 'll destroy the whole village like Nagato did of course he doesnt have shinra tensei,but will do a serious damage ...

In a head on assault Itachi would lose. But that's why he wouldn't try to do it the same way Pein did. If you let Itachi do thing his way, ei sneaking around and genjutsu puppets, he could probably do a better job than Pein.

I think if he's allowed to sneak around and use fodder Ninja as puppets and quietly kills Chunin+ Ninja he could be successful

But I thought the question implied that Tobi sent Itachi and Kisame to konoha instead of Pein, so Naruto is training on Mount Myoboku. And Itachi took down Kakashi with tsukoyomi once within 1 second.
